They responded promptly to my phone call concerning a leaking water heater and assessed and replaced it the following day, along with education regarding the maintenance of the tankless system. I found this company on the ComplaintsBoard.com website and I'm glad I did, especially because they are locally owned. I used a few other companies over the years for furnace, A/C and water heater service and I wanted to find a company a could stick with that wasn't trying to sell me expensive "extras."When I've called for service, it has gotten scheduled quickly and the job gets done efficiently and professionally. The pricing seems fair.

The owner himself came to look at our boiler. The boiler was putting out a burning smell. He was so very detailed in the inspection of the boiler and explained everything to me so I could understand the situation. He turned down the temperature of the boiler, no more smell!. He and his crew will come back in the spring to clean the boiler and do some other repairs. Very impressed with the service. Five stars for MGP Mechanical in Albuquerque.

I got a conversion from a tanked gas heater to a tankless water heater. They took about 12 hours and charged $3,888. They were kind and respectful. They told me to call for anything. Inspector came out and passed with the contingency that the water heater isn't plugged into a surge protector. MGP then wrapped a smaller extension cord around the plumbing condensation pipe and said that was good enough and I needed an electrician (they are mm98 certified) I asked for a picture of his license for my leasing manager and the representative said that's not my problem he can look it up. I had been thrilled with the service until this point and I'm disappointed.

MGP Mechanical came in and fixed all the problems with our Navien boiler and got it up and running. They did a great job!

MGP were very knowledgeable on repairing our tankless water heater. The broken part was identified, the company contacted (Noritz), and the part replaced. Another plumber had difficulty in identifying the problem.

We have tried many plumbers in the past and never have been so happy with a company as we are with MGP! Please, do yourself a favor if you ever need heating cooling or plumbing done at your place of residence this is the only company to call! MGP Mechanical is great! We first used them several years ago. We were getting a new roof and decided to upgrade an old, supplemental air conditioning unit which serviced our kitchen and family room with a heating/air conditioning unit. MGP Mechanical worked seamlessly with our roofer. They made several recommendations about the size and type of unit, giving us pros and cons of each possibility, leaving the final decision to us. He was right about everything he said. Since then, we have used MGP Mechanical for all our plumbing needs, from routine faucets and annual maintenance to a tankless hot water heater and a new whole-house HVAC system earlier this month. MGP Mechanical is thorough, explains everything, and provides good pricing on quality work and materials. We have been extremely happy with them.

We did our research and found that this local ABQ small business has a great reputation. We wanted our AC moved to the roof and we wanted it done right. The owner came on time, did a thorough inspection, spent time explaining the options and giving his professional recommendations. He listened and produced a detailed estimate within a few days. When the team arrived they knew all the details previously discussed and communicated at every stage of the process. When they found a problem with the initial installation (damaged valve due to improper installation by Comfort Solutions) they replaced both valves and charged just for the part. The end result is a system better than when it was first installed and a super clean and professional looking job. Their charges are just slightly higher than the national chain big guys. Well worth it!
