I do have a contract and an addendum. The addendum states (see attached) that an evaluation will be completed mid-summer to determine if the array has met the energy generation that they had claimed it would. If that assessment indicated that it did not generate at least 94% of net usage, they would be back to install additional panels. I have had no contact with anyone from MSR 8/3/23 . I talked to a Tessa, a receptionist, and she said one of the owners, Jared, was well aware of my situation and would email the results that afternoon. Since then I have heard nothing from them. I have tried emails, texts and phone calls (at least 18) throughout the months and nothing in return. Since then, the numbers I have are either disconnected or out of service. Early on I sent a text to everyone I had ever been in contact with from MSR. The only text I received was from a previous installer that said no one on the text thread worked for the company anymore.
I have also dealt with what I believe is a broker, Total Sun Solar, which I believe is out of Texas. They are the ones that sold me the system. I did talk to some one ( Josh, Aaron, Ryan) in mid-August and they said they have had problems with MSR, had trouble getting ahold of them too and were going to start threatening them. He told me they no longer use MSR for installs. Since then, there have not been any communication with them as well despite numerous texts and phone calls.
The idea was to have the cost of the Solar panels off set the cost of electric through Great Lakes Energy I took a deferred payments and will have to start paying $155 in a few months as well as a partial electric that is not being off set bey the solar power being generated as promised.
I appreciate you time and consideration.
Desired outcome: Reduced amount owed to finance company or new panels installed by different contractor
