I would give less stars if I could. Worst sales experience in quite sometime. Saw them at a home show, booked an appointment to get an estimate for water in the basement. They called the day before to confirm and to state the sales person would be a 1/2 hour earlier, great. A sales person by the name of mike eagleson showed up 1 hour and 15 minutes late with no call stating he would be late. So it is now 7:15p, I have two kids under the age of 6. The dog and pony show went until 11p. When I tried to expedite the show mike got combative with me, mind you one of my dogs had a seizure during this sales process, did not phase mike one bit, and the kids are getting tired, no empathy to expedite as they have a script to complete. They spend 1/2 of there time lying about what they say their competitors do, when in reality they are completely wrong and spread misinformation. They will tell you that any company ending in "dry" that is a franchise will not be around and/or that the competitors do not have legitimate employees, that the competitors have an inferior warranty, that their lifetime warranty is really only 7 years, when in fact mid atlantic (Ma) warranties for two owners of the home, other companies warranty for life of the structure. Mike pulled out materials that supposedly their competitors use, of course inferior to ma, but totally not even what competitors are using. So when it comes time for the quote 3 hours later, they start off at over $23k, then drop to $22k, then $18k, then mike gets on the phone with his boss steve billig and drops it to $16.7k, still almost 60% more then competitors. Oh then they want a small down payment of 10%- this is important for later - and you can qualify for 25 months minimum payment, no interest. And if you sign today, you do not have to wait 3 months, we can fit you in on the calendar within 2 weeks. Beware of the cancellation policy - you have 3 days to let them know via - get this 1) mail, 2) in person or 3) telegram - yes that's right, telegram if you wish to cancel. And nowhere on any contracts or documentation that you receive will you find an email address or fax number - not even ma's website, to communicate with them in some documented fashion, only phone numbers. I called to cancel the 1st evening into the cancellation period, said I did not want to do business with them, and to not call me or my wife. I asked for a fax # to fax a letter, it was a bogus fax #. They started calling my wife so I called again, the only person with whom I could speak is the general manager of the piscataway nj office is steve billig. This is now the 2nd day into the cancellation period he tried to ask me why I was not doing business, I stated I was going elsewhere, I asked him not to call myself or my wife again. Within @ 2 hours they charged my credit card the down payment. I sent a telegram to them which they received by day 3, they still called my wife to schedule an inspection - now they are calling from different phone numbers - they said well we think we can get you a better price - she told them to stop calling her as well at that point. And of course when it is time to dispute the credit card payment all of a sudden steve billig is unavailable for a phone call with my credit card company, but lucky for me I have a great company that stopped the charge on my behalf.
