My dad passed away 11 weeks ago and I inherited his property, there are currently squatters living in the home that I am in the process of evicting. These squatters logged onto the Midland online account and changed the contact email to theirs instead of mine, while doing that, they saw my phone number and address. I called Midland to ask about this, and they then informed me that they also called Midland pretending to me and my daughter (a crime!) Midland should have IMMEDIATELY called me and not given them any information! That is not what happened, I was not told until I called them asking about the change of the email address on the account. I was told I could put a PAC (privacy access code) on the account so that when someone logs in online or calls about the account, it would ask for a certain word before any information was given about the account. I have now called over 10 times and the PAC has NEVER been asked for. When I start asking about it, they give all kinds of excuses ranging from a computer glitch, to it only asking for the PAC on the 2nd page of the account, to it will be asked for next time you call in, which it never was. Because of Midland Mortgage, these squatters who are dangerous, now have all of my personal information. I have spoken to a supervisor, Kim Glover, to demand the auto and transcripts of the phone conversations between Midland and the squatters and was told to give her a few days. Those days have now passed, and I have called and left a voicemail, waiting on a return call from her, remains to be seen whether that call will ever be returned or not. The sheriff is now involved because calling and pretending to be someone to a mortgage company that you are not to get their personal information is a CRIME, as is the mortgage company releasing information to someone who is not on the account. Midland mortgage KNOWS all of this information and still REFUSES TO SECURE THIS ACCOUNT. There have been numerous other problems with this company other than this, this is just the most egregious. They also sent me the foreclose notice in the mail 3 days after I acquired the property in Succession and sent that to them. Many more things I could put in this complaint about Midland, but I would be typing all day. I have never dealt with a company that is more infuriating and unprofessional in my entire life. I work at a tiny family-owned business and even WE have to secure customer accounts. These people are vile human beings.
Desired outcome: SECURE MY ACCOUNT!!!!
