I bought books from Midtown Comics before and it was fine. They had a sale and I found some cheap books for my collection. They put the books in a small bag and then in a big box without any protection. The books were damaged when they arrived. I knew they weren't protected, but I didn't expect them to be treated so badly. When I complained, they said they don't care about cheap books. Don't buy from Midtown if you care about your books.

I got a 12 issue comic book sub from this company but they stopped delivery after 10 issues. I hit up customer service a bunch of times about this issue and they kept saying there was a shipping delay and to wait another month. They finally said if the missing issues didn't come by October 8 to hit them up again and they'd give me a refund for the missing issues. I hit them up again on October 8 but never heard back.

Ordered DC Wonder Girl subscription in July. Called in October to ask why no comics yet. They said 8-12 weeks wait. Finally got book 6 on Jan 14th, but no book 5. Emailed, they said I should have got it by Dec 23rd and it's too late to complain. When I called, they said shipping issues, wait a few weeks. I think they should credit my order for the missing book.

I got 4 comic books from Midtown Comics on July 7th and chose normal delivery. They got sent to Trenton post office on July 9th and it said they would be delivered on July 13th. It's July 19th now and I still haven't received them. I checked UPS tracking and it says they're still at the post office in Trenton since July 9th. It's been 10 days and there's been no update. My local post office doesn't have any record of the package. I called Midtown and they weren't helpful. They just said they sent it out and it's my job to follow the tracking. I explained my problem and they said they can't do anything for 45 days, which is ridiculous. Then I looked online and saw nothing but bad reviews. Can someone help me out? Thanks.

I got my nephew a year's worth of Miles Morales Spiderman comics from Midtown Comics on 9//2020. It cost me $28.96. But come 12/*/20, my nephew hadn't gotten a single issue yet. So I emailed them and they said they sent two issues and I had to wait 8 weeks before I could complain. I complained on 12//2020, cancelled the subscription, and asked for my money back. On 1/*/2021, they said they'd only give me $21.72 back since they already sent three issues. But they sent the third issue on 1/*/2021, AFTER I cancelled the subscription. I haven't gotten any refund yet, even though I should get all my money back since I didn't get any issues.

I waited for 7 months but still haven't got my comics. I paid for 2 annual subs in October for Darth Vader and Star Wars. I contacted them every month since January but still no comics. I missed the 2 week claim window for the 1st issue of each sub, being too early or too late (by 48 hours) for Darth Vader #8. Star Wars #9 is still "Not Shipped" according to their records. I filed a claim for DV#9 and SW#10 but they haven't arrived yet. It's been 12 weeks since SW #11 should have arrived, so I canceled my subscription and asked for a full refund. They said no. I offered a partial refund first and if no other issues arrive after 12 weeks, I'll get a complete refund. They refused and are billing me for 8 comics I haven't received. I want a refund for the comics I didn't get, which is 100%.

Midtown doesn't tell you when this "window" is or how to keep track of it. They say they can't cancel preorders because they order based on demand, but they could just add those comics to their stock. Also, their customer service asked for my credit card info before telling me if I could get a refund or not. They made me enter my credit card on their website and then said I couldn't get my money back.

Thinkin' 'bout walkin' away from their service entirely. Here's what I'm missin': Avengers #*** and up, Dark Ages #1,2,4&5, Daredevil #*** & anything 35 up, Moon Knight #4, Spider-man Shadow #1&2, Sinister War #3&5. I don't think this is fair because it's way past their delivery time. I asked for a refund, but they only gave me $24.10 out of $28.96. They said they couldn't refund the comics that had already been shipped, but I haven't received anything yet. I think I should get a full refund because I didn't get what I paid for. They refused and I'm still owed $4.86. It's not a lot of money, but it's the principle of the matter. The ordering page clearly says it takes 6-8 weeks. However, over 24 hours later, I received an email asking for an additional $22.72 due to a "pricing display error". I did some research and found out that the books I ordered were now on comic speculation hot lists, and Midtown raised the prices after charging me and other preorder customers. I refused to pay the extra amount, but Midtown representatives only offered to cancel the order. After speaking to 4 different representatives, I cancelled the order. A week later, my order status changed to "Shipped" but without a tracking number. I preordered my next week's worth of books to see if they would arrive together, but they did not. As of today, I have not received my books or a refund. I have been a loyal customer since 2017, spending a lot of money each week, and I am owed the items I paid for.

I am not receiving the issues I ordered for my DC Comic subscription to Batman Beyond. Midtown comics has stated that "All issues ship on release date and can take up to 4 weeks to be delivered. Midtown continues to add that customers have up to 6 weeks from the issues release date to make any claims for damaged or missing issues". However, when I made my claim during the last two months that I have not received issue 42 and issue 43, Midtown stated that there are no issues in stock and they cannot reship so Midtown has extended was subscription by 1 issue each time for missing their deliveries. But this is the second time in a row that I have not received my subscription. I want the issue resolved.
