The professional support of Millennia Tax was exactly what I needed
The professional support of Millennia Tax was exactly what I needed. They were quick to respond and very sympathetic to my tax situation. If I ever come in contact with someone who is dealing with tax problems and they need help I will absolutely recommend them. I felt that they explained the process and what I was paying for, it made me much more knowledge about taxes! They guided me through the process, it took a while but it was worth the wait, I ended up saving a significant amount on my taxes.

Millennia totally abandoned me after I paid over $5000 to file 3 back returns. They were also obligated to get an abatement to eliminate a tax lien estimated to to be $25k After I finished my payments I have not heard from them and cannot contact them because the phone has been disconnected.
I researched a bunch of tax places online and this one seemed the most legit
I researched a bunch of tax places online and this one seemed the most legit. All these companies have trash talkers in their reviews. I was nervous because I have credit card debt as well and money is tight. When I called them they said they had to look into my situation with the IRS first, before the price quote. I was asked why, they said everyone has a unique situation whatever. Turns out I owed a lot less to the IRS than I thought after they filed my taxes. I had 4 years of unfiled returns. Thanks for the help, I would definitely recommend them.

2022 is going to be a better year than the last. Millennia just finished working on my case that started in June. Millennia Rep Karen was great to work with. She helped me understand clearly where I stood with the IRS and what we needed to do. Heading into the New Year the IRS is no longer pressuring me and have stopped asking for money. What a blessing!
This company is a joke. They promised to help me get rid of back taxes. I agreed to let them help. They charged me $500 for their service. They also claimed that the IRS would settle with me for $2000. They have been paid all that money and no one will even take the time to speak to me. It's been at least 6 months and no real communication. I wouldn't recommend using this company for anything.
I called several times to 3 different consultants and no return calls back. I have questions but can't get answers but they took my money.
I had a tax lien on my house from back in 2016 when I had some issues with my business
I had a tax lien on my house from back in 2016 when I had some issues with my business. I felt stuck and couldn't sell or refinance my home. I called the IRS myself and they only made me feel foolish and told me I had no choice but to pay in full! When I called Millennia Tax Relief, they explained that they could help me, but they had to speak with the IRS first. That made me feel a lot better. I didn't want someone to promise me something they couldn't deliver. They were able to get the lien removed in a few months and I was able to refi my house! Thank you guys at Millennia!

Millennia Tax Relief, LLC contacted me 11/8 at 6:49PM from an illegally spoofed number. This unwanted communication was in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act as it was placed using an Automatic Telephone Dialing System and was made without my express, prior, written consent, as required by law. The TCPA provides for a private right of action, with each violation entitling me to a $500 penalty, which can be increased to $1,500 per violation, in the event such a violation is deemed to have been willfully or knowingly made. Based on the communication detailed above, the statutory penalties to which I would be entitled total $1,500. However, in the interest of helping you avoid the imposition, expense, and potential embarrassment of civil litigation, I would like to afford you an opportunity to settle this matter for the amount of $1,250. In exchange for that amount, I will forgo any civil action, release your company of all claims associated with the illegal communications named herein, and consider the matter closed. I have sent emails and letters in the mail and have had no responses. I can tell they do not care about federal laws.
I tried to Get an explanation today, 11/29 about why I was getting charged by United and the IRS still and after three attempts and even one of the folks hung up on me, a lady named LAURA JIMENEZ SR. did a magnificent job explaining the entire process and the reasons why and what the results will be in the end. Needless to say I was more than pleased with Miss JIMENEZ and I would recommend her to anyone in my situation. Thank you. *** R.
Wow! I called Millennia at the end of August because I had received a letter from the IRS saying I owed $3500. Figured I could use some help with this. They talked with the IRS and amended some info the IRS had. Today I got a letter stating my balance with the IRS is zero. Could not be happier. It does pay off to let professionals deal with the IRS.
I owed $28,000 to the IRS, debt that had been a problem ever since 2012 and 2013
I owed $28,000 to the IRS, debt that had been a problem ever since 2012 and 2013. I called Millennia to see if this was something that could be resolved. They said there was a good possibility and I put my faith in them. They found out from the IRS that I needed to file 5 years of taxes that I had never done before they could negotiate. It is a pain to do taxes for the current year much less having to piece together info from 6-7 years ago. They got it done. They resolved my tax case and I am currently in good standing with the IRS and not paying them a penny. Thank you Millennia.

This company takes your money, and misleads you into the results they feel they can accomplish with your back taxes
This company takes your money, and misleads you into the results they feel they can accomplish with your back taxes. They know you are in need of help and take great advantage of your dire situation.
I paid them *** to "resolve" my back taxes. They explained thar I would be placed on a "no call" list and that after a certain amount of time the taxes would "fall off." My understanding was that my debt was resolved.
A few years later, I began receiving collection notices for all the years this company stated they had resolved. Do not go to Millennia tax for help with back taxes.

In November , I contacted Millenia Tax Relief to ask for help with my tax situation
In November , I contacted Millenia Tax Relief to ask for help with my tax situation. I had already made a payment arrangement with IRS, for my 2018 taxes, which the representative was informed. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. I was repeatedly told that assistance was available, that my tax liability could be reduced. That never happened. Millenia Tax Relief has done nothing to help my situation, and has in fact charged my credit card $106 per month for the past 5 months without providing any service at all. My calls are not returned. I am so very frustrated with this company. This is clearly fraud, and I have reported it as such to my credit card company.

I have been trying to get a status that is consistent for over a year now
I have been trying to get a status that is consistent for over a year now. Everyone I talk to tells me a different story. They seem to be taking my money and they are doing nothing. They send me a billing reminder and phone number. When I call and leave a voice message, no one returns my call. when I call the number for status no one gives me clear answers. I am so frustrated with this company and I don't think they are worth the money I spent for their lack of service. All the promises they gave me at the beginning were never delivered and no one seems to know what they are doing. I need help and not this continuous circle of misinformation. They are making me pay to get a 10-year automatic discharge of my IRS debt.

Hello my name is *** S
Hello my name is *** S. I filed my taxes for 2019 &2020 last year and never received my stimulus for neither year when the irs sent me a letter saying they were never file. These people claimed they faxed my tax papers when i have never heard anything about faxing tax to irs ,i asked why weren't they e-filed they kept giving me the run around and wouldn't tell me where they were sent,i still don't have answer. First they charged me$500 to check and see if they could do something about old taxes owed when it was actually free to find out then they charged me $400 to do my taxes for XXXX-XXXX B ecause i think they wer not filed i filing this review because i want my money because it has been over a year'these people are a joke and will not follow up on their clients and are very rude when asked questions about what is going on. I has been over 1 year.

If I could give this company no stars I would !
If I could give this company no stars I would ! I owe the irs money and they told me that their lawyers would contact the irs to perhaps take my debt away completely or at least half of it would be reduced. He made it sound all good that all I had to pay them was $500 and I repeatedly asked him and I spoke to his manager and asked him the same question again he agreed. I said ok fine let's do it , they wouldn't answer my calls and I would leave voicemails. Today, 9/23 , I spoke to the "supervisor" and he was trying to charge me an extra 800 apart from the 500 I already gave them and they never negotiated with the irs like I was told and was denied a refund. They are stealing from families and that is not ok. God will make justice for all this corruption. They may be good at filing taxes but absolutely not when you owe the irs. So please don't get robbed by this company !

I don't even know where to start
I don't even know where to start. I have never written a review before but circumstances demand it. I was approached by Millennia after an on line add. Call went well and I was led to believe that garnishments from the IRS would stop. I even mentioned my tax return as a way to fund their fee otherwise it would screw me. My tax refund was garnished and that means I owed the IRS 1700 less now. Payment never changed so I informed them that before they take any money from my account I need to speak to a representative. This is where the problem comes in. Its been close to a month and I have repeatedly tried to make contact and no reply. Always get the answering machine. they are extremely efficient in getting their money but not so much in contacting their customers. All I asked for is a copy of my payment schedule and someone to call me. I've pretty much had the same happen to me as mister Wilford, below, I also see Ivan's name there too. Interesting. Maybe now that I've written here they will contact me...
Millennia Tax Relief is potentially the most disreputable, self-serving, unethical firm operating as a business I have ever encountered
Millennia Tax Relief is potentially the most disreputable, self-serving, unethical firm operating as a business I have ever encountered. It's all about the money - them making the money. I should have been circumspect when I had to take out a loan so they would be fully paid-up front, rather financing themselves or pay as you go. After 13 months and incessant calls and emails, they finally responded. They were to place me in a Fresh Start program. That didn't happen. The issue with the IRS was settled by having me pay the original amount in its' entirety. To achieve this, I incurred another $6500 for the loan to have Millennia do nothing. Upon discussing the potential of an equitable settlement so that I don't have to pay the outstanding balance of $2700 on the loan, they felt justified that generating a 433-D for for the IRS was worth $6500. Now I have to pay a lawyer to bring justice to an otherwise sham, scam, rip-off and legalized thievery. If you are contemplating using their services, think real hard if you want to be victimized.

I have been working with Millennia Tax Relief for about 2 1/2 years
I have been working with Millennia Tax Relief for about 2 1/2 years. I have paid so much money and nothing seems to have been completed within this time frame. I call and get the run around. I had to pay American First finance 1350.00 plus paid extreme about of money to Millennia. They had no problem taking my money, but when I call for answers all I get is the run around. I just want a big portion of my money back, so I can get a honest company to help me and not give me the run around. It was suggested that I sue for legal service act, since the job has not been resolved. All I owe is $200.00 after all this time and money I have already spent, I definitely don't feel I owe them a penny more. I want the money I paid to American First, finance refunded and partial of the money I have paid them. I started off with a $500.00 deposit including payments of 125.00 every month. Things got hard for me to pay because of COVID. Even with that said, I still have not had any luck with this company. I'm tired of having this tax issue of my head. They gave me 2 options t settle my debt. 1.) was pay $1500.00 because my taxes owed was $15000.00 or 2.) Have my debt wiped out, but I was told I can't have any additional income besides the job I have ( for 10 yrs or they can come after me for the entire debt that was owed). Spoke to someone about this, and was told that was a bunch of *** and very much unheard of. I am already struggling as it is and to get a company to take my money and still have nothing resolved after all this time is very stressful right now. The last thing I need is IRS coming after me and garnishing my wages. I want a resolution and quickly! And i do not have money for a lawyer to get involved.

Dont use this company
Dont use this company. After 6 months I had to call the IRS myself and got an agreement in place. Millennia had started my tax return needed but never finished stating I didnt return needed paperwork which I had sent back to them the day after I received it, they never looked at it. That was the second time I sent papers for them to say they didnt get but both times it was there. They never called to find out where papers were though. I just kept being told it takes time but the IRS doesn't care so I had accounts levied by now. I was tired of hearing the IRS tell me they had not received anything from this company so after paying out $1000 to tax millennia and getting no where I contacted the IRS and made my own agreement. They even informed me that anyone can do themselves what these tax relief places do and it's free, not $1700 like they wanted me to pay. I called the supervisor who had told me to call him if I ever had concerns. I called him and told him to cancel my account and I wanted a refund on what I had paid so far, he stated he would take care of it. Low and behold new month they took the payment from my account and he never called me back in between like he said he would after checking into things to see how much work was done on my case to get an accurate refund amount. When I called the day of my payment I was hung up on by him after questioning why my account wasn't cancelled 2 weeks ago when I told him to. I called him back asking if he hung up on me and he stated "I dont know". Wow, and you're a Supervisor. He did say he talked to customer service and they will be contacting me in order to get this taken care of because he told them to cancel it now and they will do right by me. Then basically said he had no more to say to me since I was getting upset and it's good Friday and he'd like to keep it one. Well see if anyone calls me in regards to this and if "they got me" as he stated they do.

Took $500 from me, said in 24-48 hours I would have transcripts - a month later, nothing. They took another UNAUTHORIZED $650! Won't return calls On 1/26 I e-signed documents which I was never given a copy of they magically disappear. In those documents it was PHASE 1 agreeing to $500 for transcripts for my taxes. I was promised by SEVERAL people I would have them and a plan within 24-48 hours - almost a month later - NOTHING. All they want is more money and phase 2. I asked them MULTIPLE times for my transcripts and that I do NOT want to continue with them. They took out UN-AUTHORIZED money- $650 from my account. They will not give me my transcripts and don't return phone calls. I want my money refunded and my transcripts. Most of all for them to not do this to other people!

This company has deceptive business practices, and apparently seems to be a scam
This company has deceptive business practices, and apparently seems to be a scam. I was told by their sales representative that $500 would take care of my tax issue. All they did was get a summary of my taxes (which I already had) from the IRS, and then told me the next step would cost a lot more money. There is actually no resolution whatsoever covered by that $500. From what I have now seen online, this deceptive practice seems to be their main business practice, as there are many complaints stating the same thing. When I asked to speak with a manager and asked for my $500 back I was treated incredibly rudely, threatened, and talked down to by the manager. After he had me crying, he finally relented and told me they would be mailing me a check for $500, rudely said "have fun taking it up with the IRS yourself," and then hung up on me. I have now waited months for my check and never received it. I cannot get through when I try to reach customer service.

They made me sign a contract for **** which seemed reasonable to assess and resolve my tax problem
They made me sign a contract for *** which seemed reasonable to assess and resolve my tax problem. I was forced to pay even if they cant help me. Bottom line is that I was already in the fresh start program, I was sold that they could reduce my balance to 10% of what I owe, which is completely false. I should have known since I went through this 2 years ago and I got my payment plan setup. I was really hopeful that they could do the OIC for the *** but after speaking with ***, he informed me it would be *** for their service. I called the IRS and the said the OIC is very simple to do without paying *** to these people. Don't sign the contract, because you will be stuck paying the *** for these people to do basically nothing. They want to make easy money from people that are struggling with IRS debt. Do your research and talk to the IRS yourself you DO NOT NEED THESE PEOPLE. They were very rude and nasty to me, it is like dealing with the mafia.

I entered into a contract with Millennia Tax Relief in November
I entered into a contract with Millennia Tax Relief in November . I have an installment payment plan established of approximately $*** with the last payment of $816.67 due in mid-March. I have provided all of the information they have requested in a timely manner. I check in with them about once per month to determine the status of my account. I never reach anyone to speak to and leaving messages takes days, if ever, to return. I reach the same contact during all calls who doesn't have any idea what is happening with my account and will not put me in touch with the individual supposedly performing the work. There has been no evidence anything has been done. This being said, they are quick to remind me when payment is due and, having check credit cards once, when the payment did not go through. I am requesting return of my fees and cancellation of the contract. If work has been performed, I am happy to pay for that portion of their effort. I'm certainly not making the last paymen

I was told I did not have to pay my IRS installment agreement anymore as it was part of the negotiation process however this turned out to be false. I was told they could resolve all my tax debt or partial due to their "fresh start program" which I later found out this is something my CPA or I can do myself. At the time being desperate this sounded like the answer to my problem so I paid them *** to start the process against my better judgment. Then they called IRS on my behalf on a conference call to see what my payoff was which the IRS did not have at that time. Immediately after the call I'm told if I pay them *** they could help me to reduce or completely absolve my debt. I said I couldn't afford that and he then said they could do it for *** Next thing I know he is getting my financing through a company at *** per month for 3 years to pay for their services. I explained over and over to be clear that I couldn't afford to pay the *** per month on top of my current IRS installment plan of *** per month. I was told repeatedly I could stop paying immediately due to the fact this would be part of the negotiation process. Shortly after the IRS sent me a letter saying I needed to continue paying or they would cancel my installment agreement and I would owe the full amount due. I obviously could not let this happen and have a levy put on my commissions. I then spoke with the finance company and I was told I need a cancellation letter in order to be released from their contract. Keep in mind I paid Millenia *** for nothing and have not used any of their services. I have tried calling Millenia Tax Relief multiple times with no answer and sent two email asking for a cancellation letter. Any help in these already very tough times would be appreciated. Thank you in advance! Sales Representative Millenia - *** Sign up date - August 5 Initial payment - *** Visa Debit Card Finance agreement attached below - *** per month for 36 months = *** total(payment method - auto withdraw from my checking account) The finance company has been very nice however they need the cancellation letter to from Millenia to release me from their contract. I attached their contract along with Millenia's below.

Unsatisfactory case status update and responses 08/27 after completing documents
Unsatisfactory case status update and responses on 08/27: I eSigned, emailed, and completed the requested documents. I called and was advised that I spoke to an IRS representative with a specific badge number. The total taxes owed for previous years were discussed. They had not processed my 2019 return. The IRS representative considered placing my file in a non-collectible status. I owed Millennia a certain amount, which will be deducted from the financing amount approved through UCFS. I was instructed to continue with IRS installments until I receive a settlement letter from the IRS. On 08/31, I was asked for additional documents. The next day, I found a request for a tax organizer for each year taxes were owed in my spam email. On 09/08, the request for the tax organizer was repeated. I spoke to a customer service representative who informed me that the tax organizer was not needed if I had filed my tax returns. I was asked to send my 2019 tax return along with other documents, which I did via email. I paid UCFS in full. I left a voicemail for my contact on 09/15 and followed up with an email on 09/16, asking if additional information was needed. The next day, a customer service representative directed me to another contact. In early October, I left a message and was asked via email to complete a statement of circumstances, which I submitted. Mid-October, I was informed that all documents were received and would be given to the case manager. I was told to expect a non-collectible status from Millennia and then acceptance from the IRS within 30 days. On 11/03, I sent an email with attachments received from the IRS. In the email, I mentioned that the IRS advised me to complete a financial statement, which I had already submitted to Millennia for their use with the IRS. However, the IRS had no record of communication from Millennia. On 11/05, I spoke to a representative and explained my email request. I was promised a callback from the case manager within minutes, but after not hearing back, I called again. The second representative said they would pass the information on and I should expect a callback shortly. The next day, I still had not received a callback. I called customer service again and was transferred to a voicemail that did not have a message tone, but I left a message anyway. Often when I call, the customer service representative does not have updated information. I understand the process can take months, but my case seems to be moving very slowly. It's also frustrating that each time I call, I have to provide updates as if my case has not been updated. At this point, I am unsure if any contact was made with the IRS as I was initially advised. If I am having to work directly with the IRS to provide a financial statement, I question what I paid Millennia and UCFS for, as Millennia has not provided the promised service.

Bait & Switch pricing - Deceptive Sales Practices by Millennia Tax Relief Salesperson
Bait & Switch pricing - Deceptive Sales Practices I received a cold call from Millennia Tax Relief - a salesperson called to discuss options for my tax situation with the IRS. Since I have a debt with them, I listened to his pitch. He said they'd review my case and inform me of debt-reduction programs I qualified for, with a cost of $500 if I proceeded. He confirmed multiple times that $500 was the total fee. They offered a payment plan of 5 monthly installments of $100. I agreed to a 'free' initial review and provided a Power of Attorney. Later, another person verified my information and payment agreement. They promised a follow-up after reviewing my case. However, the next call was a bait and switch, with an attorney stating the cost to resolve my debt was significantly higher than $500, contradicting the salesperson's assurance. When I confronted the attorney about the deceptive tactic, she tried to pressure me, but I refused to continue with their services. This company uses misleading tactics to obtain consent and signatures, then employs aggressive sales tactics, suggesting a 1300% price increase. I find this unethical and want to revoke the Power of Attorney and have them erase my personal information.

MTR misrepresented terms of the agreement and is now bullying me to pay when they have done nothing on my behalf. I reached out to MTR in Jan of 2020. I was a victim of Facebook spoofing and was concerned about my tax liability. I signed the "Client Services Agreement" which detailed the scope of services: File my 2018 and 2019 taxes and negotiate and prepare any tax relief programs, such as an "Offer in Compromise" or "Currently Non-Collectable". Per the Agreement, I was to pay $*** following the payment schedule. I paid the initial $150 and filled out the Power of Attorney and Tax Information Authorization so that they could speak on my behalf with the IRS. In Feb, I provided MTR with proof of income and filled out a "Tax Organizer Worksheet." Soon thereafter, I granted my two daughters, power of attorney. I am 76 years old and was worried I was being taken for another ride. Due to COVID-19, it wasn't until June 30th that I was able to get the POA finalized. To save costs, I had my daughters prepare my tax forms rather than MTR. After the taxes were filed, my daughter reached out to MTR and spoke with***. *** explained that I was in "uncollectible status" or ("UNC") with the IRS and in order to maintain that status, I needed to continue making payments to MTR. This was curious information because I had not discussed with them my tax debt. I didn't know it yet. I was not sure how I could even be "uncollectible" when as far as I knew, nothing had been sent to the IRS from MTR on my behalf. My daughter told*** that we had already prepared and filed my taxes for 2018 and 2019, and that the liability was around $*** and asked what could be done to maintain UNC. *** threw out random figures, at which time, my daughter asked*** to send a memorializing email of their conversation that included what they had done for me and what would be the cost of keeping me in such status so that she could include my other daughter and myself in further communications concerning MTR. *** ignored all requests for communication in writing and instead my daughter & myself were inundated with more emails from MTR requesting that I fill out forms I had already filled out, forms that were needed to prepare taxes that had already been prepared! After some contentious and threatening emails from*** regarding me being behind in payments to MTR, she told us that the $*** I had agreed to pay back in January was based on a liability assessment of $***, and that since my tax debt is significantly higher, my total fees to MTR would also be higher. have thoroughly reviewed the Agreement, and nowhere does it state that the Total Agreed Upon amount is subject to change if the tax liability is determined to be higher than initially reported. I feel lied to and bullied. MTR is a scam and I want my money back. I don't remember ever discussing ever discussing my tax liability with*** in January, or thereafter, since there was no way I could know! It was my daughter that relayed that information to her in August. Her communications with me and my daughters have been completely unprofessional. Many of her emails are hard to understand or follow to the point of ineligibility. Also, after continuously asking for communication via email, in writing, she tells us she can't because they have to have all calls recorded for accountability and that is why she can't communicate via email; however, email provides the same level of accountability. MTR made many misrepresentations (1) The terms of the contract (2) stating that I am in UNC status even though they had not yet filed anything with the IRS and (3) that I told them back in January that my tax liability was only $***. I never told them that.

What is the downfall of making good money as an independent contractor? You owe a shload of money if you do not know how to plan correctly. Millennia negotiated my back tax problem but they also helped my form a corporation with better tax benefits so I can keep out of trouble moving forward. What I paid them is a small fraction of what I owed and could owe in the future had I not made some changes. Thanks so much, Millennia!
