Up to 10-Business Day Hold Times on External Bank Transfers into Milli Bank
Milli Bank recently extended hold time on external bank transfers from 3-5 business days to up to 10-business days for the funds to be available to use. My Milli Bank savings account has a $100,000 plus balance and they have been holding a bank transfer for one plus week. It’s ridiculous and gives the impression one’s deposits aren’t safe with Milli Bank.
Recommendation: Avoid doing business with Milli Bank
Worst experience of my Life
A family member recommended me to milli. He never had any issues with them and seemed to be fairly happy with them. However, as soon as I transferred my funds from my bank to milli’s savings account, milli “restricted” my account.
I received an email saying that my account had been restricted and that I needed to email them or message them on their app. I was not told why my account had been restricted but that it just simply was. What followed, was what i would describe as the worse 3 weeks of my life. I would email milli, receiving messages like “the support team will reach out to you in 1-2 business days.” That day never came.
For the first six days my money was not in my home bank and was not showing up in milli either. Imagine looking at your life savings account and seeing nothing there and no phone number, no customers service representative to help you. I would email milli every day, sometimes several times a day trying to get through for someone to help me. How is one supposed to pay my bills, groceries, and living expenses? I finally called the First National Bank of Omaha which is the bank that milli operates under and they told me that they could see my account, but could not connect me to a customer service rep from them. They had no number for this sub-division that could help me. Think about that for 2 seconds. There was literally no phone number to call and beg for help. This went on for weeks.
I have never been so emotionally, mentally, and physically stressed and angry at the same time. Some people have a decent experience with milli. Good for them. I just wish I would have read a review like this one before transferring a large chunk of my savings into their account. There are other online banks with high yield savings that actually have a customer service number. I would not wish the experience I had with milli to my worst enemy. God bless.
Recommendation: There are other banks that have similar yields and actually have a customer service phone number. Look there and not here.
Exactly my experience with Milli Bank. Out of nowhere and under the pretext of "suspicious activity" they restricted my account, I can't access my money. No explanation, no customer service to talk to, nothing. They have been investigating "suspicious activity" for three months and I have nowhere to go for help.
I am dealing with this exact same thing right now. How did it finally get resolved and how long did it take them? Mine has been going on since the 21st of August

It’s not a bank - it’s extortion
If I could give a negative 5 I would. This is the worse bank I have ever dealt with in my life. They do no respond to messaging until days later. And when they do it’s a canned response. Which mean you have to send another IM and wait another few days. You can’t call anyone. You can’t escalate your issue. You can’t talk to a manger. You are basically stuck dealing with one person and they hold all the power and there is nothing you can do about it. They respond with“when we have updates we will let you know. There is no time frame” . This was in response to “why did you freeze my account when I tried to pull money out of it”
Response: For a fraud investigation. But they didn’t reach out to me, the account owner. I couldn’t call the fraud department, I could not email them bc there is direct information. Again - they will keep your money and there is nothing you can do about it. They are worse than people using ransomware.
Recommendation: Do not use them ever - the will keep your money

I’ve had to delete and download the app several times. For some reason the facial recognition isn’t working. I’m waiting to get a response back from support.
My take is that the developer of this app does not have a savings account with Milli. Else they’d see all the same issues I’m seeing.
I love their APR but the app needs work and their customer support is slow.
They restricted my account months ago for reasons unknown and will not mitigate the issue. They continue to say my account is under review. This company is a total fraud and a scam! Run with your money.

Hold my money for more than 4 months for no reason
Since August 1, 2023, my Milli account was funded with a large amount. The funding money was already cleared from my external bank account for more than 4 months. This is a saving account not a CD.
Milli on line customer service is unresponsive despite numerous texts have been sent to request the status of restriction removal. It has been more than four months, my account is still restricted.
Mille only uses a cell phone platform. Mill does not have a live agent to talk to. The only way is text. And the agent Jocinda chose to ignore you all the time.
Claimed loss: Mill restricted my access to withdraw. I have to take personal loan to pay my bills. I paid interest about $350 ~ $500
Desired outcome: remove the restriction Mill put on my account.
Milli banking and debit cards i
My milli account has been restricted for months and my debit cards restricted. I cannot get a response from milli as to when I can use my cards or my account. My spending account was credited on November 13,2023..My savings account was also credited on November 13,2023. I want some kind of information on my status of the milli account. I hate to involve legal help to intervene ..its more money spent. And a lawsuit could be the result.

My account has been restricted and I've been messaging support for about a month now and I have not gotten one response I get completely ignored I just want my money I need my money it's like they're stealing it I mean nobody is response to anything I even called their partner bank I called on 800 number that was listed on their app when somebody complained it is absolutely ridiculous
