I was told the dog I wanted was perfect for me and she was taken down from the site while I filled out a 13 page application with enough information to ascertain a top security clearance. I sent vet records, pictures of past and current pets and proof of Heartguard maintenance for my previous 15 year old dog who recently passed. After doing so, I could not get these people to respond to me. After three weeks of lousy excuses I went to their site only to see the dog promised to me back up, adopted by someone else and for more money. I ran my own animal rescue for two decades and sm an excellent pet owner. To cover up for the fact that they gave her to someone else for more money, they finally contacted me, to say I did not meet their standards. If I, after saving 100's of animals and keeping many of them because I couldn't bear to part with them, am not ‘good enough' for these people, then they sure as heck are not. They are unprofessional, won't answer your calls or texts and then responded with threats because I'm complaining. Do not adopt animals from these people. They shouldn't even be in the ‘business' of adopting animals. They whine and ask for contributions, but turn away A1 pet owners for those who will pay more money.
Agreed! It’s 2023 and they are still horrible. They should be shut down. Complaints should be made to whoever gave them a non profit license.
I too was berated by these people when I dared write a negative review. Pet owners beware.
