Minnesota Rusco Wrong Color wood

I love the windows themselves but when the salesman came to the house he didn't have an actual sample of the wood so I told him that yes go ahead with this wood (that he had on paper)...big mistake on my part because I trusted him as he said yes this wood is the same one you have now. When they started putting it in it was not at all close to the wood I had and they wanted me to pay an additional $10K just to get the right stuff that they promised in the first place would match, and seriously the job wasn't even done so they had to continue to put the wrong stuff on. Needless to say I was completely disappointed because spending $50K and I didn't get what I asked for and they still wanted more to fix THEIR mistake. Called them multiple times and they had someone come to the house, their top guys basically to strong arm me into keeping what I had an be happy with it. So disappointing!

Minnesota Rusco Very disappointed with the lack of completion in our siding

Very disappointed with the lack of completion in our siding. Our contract explicitly stated on item one of boxes to check that Minnesota Rusco would "Remove downspouts, shutters, light fixtures...that are attached to areas being sided." However, once the siding was completed, the shutters were never rehung, a mess was left behind of staples and other materials, two pieces of trim were damaged (which look to have been 'repaired' with wood patch and then painted over). We have called over a handful of times and were told either our contract would have to be reviewed, the company would have to pay someone to come out to hang them, or we were left to leave a voicemail. Recently we were able to connect with one of the owners who scheduled for a crew to arrive today. To our dismay, no one has arrived and no one has called us to notify of any changes. We have been without shutters for 3-4 weeks now. The project was left incomplete. For the amount of money that was spent, this should have been a no brainer to finish up.

Nazar and another man from Minnesota Rosco arrived on time and did a fabulous job of removing our old shower and installing a beautiful new one. They cleaned everything up afterwards. They were very professional, polite and hard working. We highly recommend them and Minnesota Rusco. Elsie W.

The whole process was made easy by the Minnesota Rusco team. From picking out the door and hardware, to the installation and cleanup. Everyone listened and was able to answer our questions.

Scheduled an appointment with them on their website in advance, got the confirmation. Saturday evening saw the missed call/email asking to call them and confirm the appointment. Called the next day, Sunday. They didn't answer. Left a detailed message that everything is good to go and I will be home Monday morning waiting for them. Monday morning 10 minutes past the appointment time called them to ask if they are running late. They said they are not coming because I didnt confirm. I said I left them a confirmation message on Sunday. They said Sunday is their day off. I said Saturday when they reached out to me is a day off in US as well. Double standards at its worst - they expect me to answer on my day off but dont bother to answer on their day off nor call in the morning next day. Ive heard bad reviews about them and didnt want to believe but now I do. Please save yourself time and read negative reviews first before you decide to go with them. I'll choose a reputable company next time

Minnesota Rusco This company is far from being Minnesota

This company is far from being Minnesota. I'm just curious, what company blocks a prospective customer when they're calling to inquire about how much you spend on marketing and how much that gets passed on to the customer. They literally hung up on me and blocked my phone number. I then reach out on Facebook and they block me there as well. The amount of commercials that are on local television in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, is absolutely astounding. Guess who pays for that. The customer. And then on top of it, people who have nothing to do with housing or renovations or wanting glass done, we as a society are being bamboozled by three different entities Under One Roof. I have a feeling they're trying to turn local television into the Minnesota Resco show. I've never seen advertising as incessant as this. So I'm doing my part, I contacted my congresswoman and I suggest others to do the same regarding laws to be made regarding incessant commercialization on television. Minnesota Ruaso, you poked me with your behavior. I tried calling you you hung up on me and then blocked my telephone number. That's great professionalism you got there. Let's hash this out shall we.

We are in need of window replacements. George and Jake came to access our project on windows and possible counter tops. They could not have been more professional and knowledgeable about products. They really made sure what we understood the quality of the products without a high sales pitch feeling. Definitely recommend and can not wait for my new windows!

Keven K 1/10/2022 stopped by to fix our door, did a great job and now it works again. Also was very transparent with me about how the manufacturer of the door has been seeing this issue over the last few months and I let customer service know as well for address that. Keven was clean, on time, and didn't leave with a mess. He was very engaging and wanted to ensure that the door was fixed and wanted to make sure I tested it as well before leaving.

Minnesota Rusco This job, while spendy, was perfect

This job, while spendy, was perfect. It took 2 1/2 months to get the countertops (from the date of sale). Brad, the salesman wasn't pushy at all. He was pleasant, personable, and professional. The dates of the install went very smoothly. I was surprised that only 2 days were involved! The plumber, Rory Pauly, was amazing. We chatted a bit and he went about his business during the disconnect. When he returned the next morning to reconnect everything, again, he was VERY pleasant and professional. He left the cabinet under the sink looking better than when he began. The installers, Joseph and Ceasar were also pleasant and professional. They made quick work of the installation - just 2 hours! Had it not been for needing to let the adhesives set for 24 hours, the job would have been done easily in one day! Our service representative, Tatiana, was also very responsive and professional. She checked in throughout the entire process and answered all our questions, which we appreciated. She followed up every time. We definitely will recommend Minnesota Rusco. You get what you pay for. While is was a bit on the spendy side, we don't expect to have any problems with our beautiful countertops going forward. Great sales experience, great customer service, and great installers!

Minnesota Rusco I saw the ad on TV about "2 years interest free" and called them about coming out to give me an estimate for new siding

I saw the ad on TV about "2 years interest free" and called them about coming out to give me an estimate for new siding. First, it was challenging to get an appointment -- so beware of their 'long backlog due to their promotion'. When I finally got my estimate date, they wanted to be sure 'all homeowners would be present' (which sounded weird to me, why is that so critically important?). Next, when the guy came out to give me an estimate -- it was more like a long drawn-out meeting! I was didn't like the feeling of being tested/quizzed about siding product knowledge, feeling put-down due to the products that I happen to like (which the estimator says are 'not as good'), and hearing about other companies/contractors are 'not as good'. The guy kept saying that I should go check where other contractors live, as if they live in poor quality spaces (why do I want to do that?). And, then the guy kept saying how other companies will be out-of-business in a couple of years, as if I should be scared to work with anyone else (why was he so focused on this point?). It was uncomfortable and frustrating. When I finally got my estimate (after listening to his long sales pitch), the estimate was many times higher than any other estimate that I received. I was shocked! What a waste of time.

I'm just starting the process of a kitchen re-do. So far everything has gone well. Isaac, the Design Consultant, was very knowledgeable and helpful in making decor selections based on the "look" I described. I am looking forward to working with the entire Rusco team and am expecting the same kind of professionalism and expertise as Isaac has demonstrated so far.

Absolutely loved the finished product! Our installer Dave Loehrer was very professional, friendly, and super knowledgeable. He did a fantastic job of explaining the job to be done and overlooked every detail. The team was super efficient during the installation and left everything super clean. They were very respectful to our home (wearing booties inside, picking up after their work, etc.) and did an outstanding job. Definitely very high quality materials and installation. Will for sure consider them for future projects. 10/10 recommend.

Minnesota Rusco I was super excited to get a new bathroom, and I heard the reviews on KS95 for MN S&B and called them for a quote

I was super excited to get a new bathroom, and I heard the reviews on KS95 for MN S&B and called them for a quote. The sales person arrived on April 20th, and I signed the contract to move forward with overhauling the entire bathroom ($21,319). I put down half ($13,160), and the expected start date was mid-July 2022. They sent an installer to take measurements to confirm everything - that individual arrived on April 27th. The installer told us that it wasn't possible to have the bathroom done the way the salesperson specified. We emailed our salesperson with a list of concerns. The salesperson didn't address the actual concerns and instead said he would send out a change order. I waited a few days for the change order and never received it. While I was out of the country taking care of a sick relative - I called on May 11th and requested to speak with a manager. The manager said they would strip out the extra and have the salesperson send me a change order. Again I received nothing. I also asked about the option to cancel and was told I could only do that in the first 3 days. However, the installer didn't come until 7 days past - so how would I know this would be an issue? I followed up on May 16th and asked three questions, and none of those questions were answered. I called again on July 11th, asking if anyone was coming since I hadn't heard from anyone or had received a change order. No one has returned my call, no one has sent me a change order, and no one has refunded me. At this point, I don't know if I need to find a lawyer to help me or what...but buyer, beware.

Minnesota Rusco We purchased windows and doors from Minnesota Rusco and our overall experience was great, just a few small hiccups

We purchased windows and doors from Minnesota Rusco and our overall experience was great, just a few small hiccups. We would definitely work with them again and provide recommendations. The great things - Our sales rep George. He knew his products inside and out, was able to answer all our questions, and graciously stayed until 11pm on a weeknight so we could finalize our order. Sergei and his crew from Minnesota Windows who installed the doors and windows. All of them were extremely friendly and stayed conscience so our dogs did not sneak out of the house or yard. They also knew what they were doing as we have had no issues with the our purchase even with the multitude of rain we have had lately. Friendly and competent service when talking to someone at the actual store. The products thus far. They look great and our energy bill is already lower than last summer. The hiccups - We ordered a wood grain framed window for our front window, but they installed a white framed one. This means the quality control in place to validate the order before it was provided to the installers did not work as designed. That said, the company took ownership of the issue and offered to replace it at no additional charge. We actually declined that offer as the white frame looked just fine so the company immediately refunded us the price difference. Took longer than expected for reps at the office to return phone calls. That said, once we were able to connect, the service was great. We had difficulty completing the warranty information and needed to reach out for help. The instructions provided at that time were perfect. They should provide these instructions at the get go.

Minnesota Rusco We wanted to remodel the bathroom off our master bedroom, remove tub and replace with walkin shower

We wanted to remodel the bathroom off our master bedroom, remove tub and replace with walkin shower. The salesman that came to our house was very anxious to make a sale. We selected new bathroom fixtures. An engineer came to our house a week later to check the measurements before the order was placed. 18 weeks later we received a call from Minnesota Rusco asking if they could start the job on Monday and the project would take a week. The crew came, removed the fixtures and started to lay the flooring. The flooring we selected was a variation of colors. Unfortunately the installer laid all one color on one side of the floor and another color on the other side. When the crew returned the next day we said we didn't like the way the floor looked, he agreed. The installer called his boss, another box of flooring was ordered thinking the flooring was bad. This was the first of many problems. We went to the business show room spoke to the lead, he sent us to a business that deals directly with builders. We were assisted in selecting another pattern of flooring. 10 weeks later our floor was laid and vanity installed by a new crew. Then the shower door was going to be installed. Barn door was the style we choose, but because the shower base edge was low the barn door style wouldn't work. The shower door also didn't have the necessary clearance from the ceiling to allow steam to escape. Customer service was contacted numerous times, many messages left, few replies received. A company that specializes in custom glass came to the house, measured, gave us some options, we choose a typical bypass shower door. 10 weeks later the door was installed and what should have been a 5 day project turned into a 4 month frustrating project.

Minnesota Rusco Wouldn't reccomend MN Rusco for window installations

Wouldn't reccomend MN Rusco for window installations. The only positive part of our experience was the installation crew doing a great job, but the customer service, financing and sales department have not been pleasant experience. Our sales rep was knowledgeable about the design of the window, but since he came to our home, he was pushing to get a sale that day instead of actually listening to what we wanted for window designs and colors. The only thing we did get offered was the bare minimum even though we clearly stated and showed him that we wanted our new windows to match the solid brown we have on some newer windows on our house. We even color matched with samples he had, so we thought he understood what we wanted, but unfortunately this wasn't written within the contract. When we had our windows installed, we realized the contract for all of the outside windows were white, not brown and in addition they do not even offer to finish the seat interior for their bay windows, so we found a contractor to finish the job.
We wanted to spend the extra money to get the project completed the way we wanted and actually have had someone who wanted to sell the customer what they wanted. If that took more than a day and asking us to come into the showroom, then we would have.
The project was also delayed due to 2 windows being misplaced in the warehouse after our project had been started. MN Rusco didn't follow up with us for 2 days until we did asking when someone was going to finish our project. There was no wow factor, not even an OK feeling in the end - just a completely unsatisfied customer who wishes they would have went elsewhere with their business. We weren't constrained by a budget and we wanted to pay more for what we actually wanted, not less for something we didn't want.

Minnesota Rusco Salesmen did not give me promo I asked for

Salesmen did not give me promo I asked for. After I did the math it turned out they shorted me by almost $300. I went to cancel the contract and manager asked what it would take to change my mind. They ended up knocking off almost another $1,000, which tells you their profit margin is through the roof. I got a call saying my door was ready and to schedule the install. We set a date and they said someone would call the day before to confirm. Nope. I ended up calling them after not hearing from them. The installer showed up at the literal last minute of the 2 hour window they gave me. At one point he vanished for over 90 minutes, leaving a gaping hole in the house where the door and side panel used to be. Fortunately it was a nice day so weather wasn't an issue, but trying to combat the endless parade of flying insects of every variety pouring through the huge opening was a battle. I couldn't find the installer and I thought maybe something was wrong so I texted the salesman. No reply. I called the office and got a voicemail. No return call. I finally tracked down the installer and he said he got a call. A 90 minute call. I said if he wasn't going to continue he needed to cover up the hole with plastic or something. He said he would get back to work. It took him several more hours to finish what was presented as a simple, half-day job. Part of the delay was they forgot to load the trim on the trailer so someone had to run it down from the office. No one has contacted me to apologize or follow up on my concerns. Not the salesmen, the person whose voicemail I got or the manager who I had previously dealt with. After they got my money they ghosted me. So much for their 5 star service and "putting a smile on my face". If you have them give you a quote make sure you get what you're asking for, and if there's issues, concerns or complaints don't plan on anyone caring.

I was very impressed with the salespeople, the communication while we waited for the install, but once I discovered a problem after the installation - I became quite disappointed. The installer made the opening for the electrical box on the island too large as well as the laminate buckled in one place. I made two phone calls and sent two emails -- without a response from MN Rusco! It was only after the counter top installers contacted them that someone came out and fixed the buckle and installed an electrical box that fits in the hole - not perfect - but I can live with it. Now -- as the new countertop was being installed, that crew noticed 5 places where the laminate is cracked or broken. They informed Rusco, but when I was called today by customer service, the person was not aware of any of these issues! When she looked at my file, she saw them mentioned, but no service ticket had been created. AND - I have a drawer that has never been installed and customer service could not provide any information as to when it will be fixed. I am disappointed in the follow up, having heard good things about Rusco in the past and then all this happens.
UPDATED INFORMATION FROM CONSUMER:
If you scroll down a ways, you will find my initial review. When the plumber came to hook up the sink and garbage disposal, he pointed out problems which I had missed. He sent pictures to Mn Rusco. He told me he could not anchor the dishwasher until the laminate on either side of it was fixed. After several days I was called asking for payment - it was only then that an appointment was made to come fix the items which had not been installed properly the first time. The installer who came was very details and thorough. I am pleased with his work. I doubt if I'd use this company again - due to their poor follow up when there is a problem. Calling customer service is a waste, as it appears that they do nothing to try to resolve the issue. Holding back final payment seems to motivate someone to finish the work that was promised.

Minnesota Rusco I was not impressed here

I was not impressed here. I scheduled an appointment and after 2 failed attempts (one was excused as the impact of the riots in Minneapolis created the delay, the second one seemed to be a mistake with the scheduler for which day I actually set...Neither time did they call me to tell me, I had to call to ask where they were?) to make the appointment, Scott came out, barely looked at the areas I wanted completed, and then spent the majority of time telling me that I needed to be able to make a decision that moment or else 1. This would cost more. 2. It would be difficult for him to set further appointments to discuss this because he was so busy. 3. He barely gave me a verbal estimate of the 3 projects. He gave me a verbal pie in the sky estimate not explaining any of the features or costs that contributed to that price. It seems to me when he learned that my wife would have a say in the decision and I couldn't make the decision that moment, he was set against actually providing any details of the project cost. I assume he figured that he was busy enough working on other people's projects that waiting for us his new customer, to make a decision was too much of an imposition. I found the high pressure sales tactic to sour my impression of your company. I work with sales people every day and what I can tell you here is that this guy simply tried to make me feel "guilty" that I wasted his time by even coming out (finally making the appointment) and he went on to say that he needed to schedule whoever I talked on the phone with because they should have told me it was a REQUIREMENT that all decision makers had to be present for the appointment. Whether my wife was there at the time of the appointment or not, we would have taken a few days to decide ONCE WE RECEIVED A WRITTEN ESTIMATE (common procedure when investing 20K or more I would think) but Scott seemed to think it was crazy that we would need the time to decide. He then went on to tell me how great the company was and that they only use the best products and that if I went to Home Depot I would just get some crappy doors and a crappy tub... Oddly enough I have purchased from Home Depot, and Menards, and Lowes and received better treatment and products that lasted the life of my property. This was an extremely disappointing experience. If this is indicative of your companies sales staff, then people must be desperate for this work to be done for you guys to be so successful. My guess is that this was just how one person treated me. My suggestions: 1. Listen to your customer. We might say something useful. 2. Talk about what is actually going to be done to make them comfortable with the process. 3. Spend less time bashing someone else's product and more time on the value of your products. 4. Provide OPTIONS, don't just TELL ME what you are going to do. From the talk with Scott it seemed as if I had two choices, his way, or not with MN Rusco. 5. Lay out the cost estimate. Your customer may just know a little bit about it and then. 6. Provide a written estimate with pictures of the projects (Scott said he didn't have pictures of the doors and the only picture of the tub was on his iPad from above... This could have been a good experience. It wasn't.

Minnesota Rusco I booked a home residing project on 6/5 with Mn Rusco

I booked a home residing project on 6/5 with Mn Rusco. They were advertising 2yr no interest, 2yr no payment. I agreed to pay cash. They told me 14 weeks to start the project. It has been that long already. I called last week - they told me now that it would commence the last week of November. That would be 20 weeks. I have paid $15,710 already. Is it legal for them to hold all that money? I am losing interest on that money. There has been no communication from them at all. I think they should be in better contact with me.

I placed an order for two standard double hung replacement windows on March and was told that they would be installed by August . Now today I received a call saying that in October they may have an update on my order. I called back to express my dissatisfaction with the service and requested to cancel my order and get a refund due to the extended time that us taking. I would have never ordered from this company had I know that they would take my money and then not install my windows when promised. I either want the windows completed in August or I want a full refund.

Thursday, 2/11: We had two sales reps out to our house to give us a bid on a bathroom remodel. We agreed to the bid, gave them a check deposit for $2,500 and signed paperwork to finance the balance. The same day, my husband and I decided after careful consideration the bid and work performed would be too exorbitant after locating another contractor with a much less expensive and acceptable alternative to complete the project. In MN Rusco's contract, it specifically states customers are allowed 3 days to cancel in writing and would receive full refund of any deposit money. Friday, 2/12: A cancellation letter and request to return our deposit check was mailed by us to MN Rusco. We paid for extra delivery receipt postage to ensure they received it on time. Tuesday, 2/16: Our bank account showed MN Rusco cashed our deposit check, causing our account to overdraft. We incurred a $36.00 fee. Wednesday, 2/17: MN Rusco credited back the money. Net $0.00, except now we owe an overdraft fee. Friday, 2/19: MN Rusco CASHES THE SAME CHECK AGAIN, causing our bank account to overdraft. We are charged ANOTHER $36.00 fee. I call our sales rep to complain; left a complaint message on MN Rusco's business phone line. Of course, "Accounting" is closed until the following Monday. We are now out the paychecks we just received on Thu, 2/18 and Fri, 2/19. Monday, 2/22: Call Ashley in Accounting at MN Rusco to complain about the duplicate cashed check and get our money back ASAP, plus reimburse us for the TWO overdraft charges they incurred upon us. At this point, we are requesting $2,572. Thursday, 2/25: We received the check in the mail (yay), but they have put a hold on it and won't let us cash it because they think we owe them money. They have taken $5,000 from us, but my check was for $2,500. Them issuing us a check for $2,500 resolves everything but they won't let us cash it. They think our bank owes them money (NO)! This is now two weekends in a row they have our money.

I met with sales representative, Jay ***, to complete a bathtub and surround. The job was valued at over $12000, 00. I put a down payment of just over $6000. The job was originally schedule to be completed between late August/early September. It is not scheduled to date. I have been making inquiries as to when this will be scheduled, as it is now October. I have yet to get a scheduled date. I am not wanting my money back, as I have lost a good amount of interest paying this company for goods not received. I am worried that their workmanship is not going to be as advertised as well. I want out of this deal, and to be able to find another company who will deliver on their promises.

Minnesota Rusco Beware pushy sales tactics

Beware pushy sales tactics. First of all, I understand I didn't cancel within the 72-hour grace period. I'm frustrated that it's cost me $3k to cancel a project that is nowhere close to being started. When the sales rep was here she talked about the discounts we could get, but only if we signed THAT DAY. She hemmed and hawed when we asked for time to get more quotes. She asked why we need more quotes & tried to get the name other companies we called. BEWARE the rush to sign because of expiring deals/discounts. No detailed breakdown of pricing provided. You get a list of items and no labor/parts cost. Our Greensky financial account was charged 50% today (03/21) for a project that at soonest, is 20 weeks from beginning. I called MN Rusco to cancel and they refused to reverse the $7k charge on my Greensky account until we provided a CC to which they could charge a $3k cancellation fee. Now I'm out $3k with nothing to show for it. I hope others learn from my expensive mistake.

I signed a contract 5/25 with this company I gave them 6000.00 in a deposit I waited months for them to start my remodel they sent one guy here for 10 days. The contractor sheet rocked my walls that are a complete redo, installed shower walls that need to be replaced , installed a damaged cabinet, shower door ,sink. did not finish the shower or bring all materials. I had a employee come out to my house to look at it and he said he would get back to me in 5 weeks that was 8 weeks ago

Minnesota Rusco We were looking to replace a sliding door

We were looking to replace a sliding door. My experience: - March 1 quote. Salesman told me they're 12-20 weeks out. Asked for a date and told July 14th: the 20 week mark. I asked again, he confirmed. I wrote it down because his writing arm was in a sling. - June 15th I received an email stating they were still on track with my project. - June 18th I receive a letter dated June 16th (One day after the email) that they won't be able to fulfill my request in the timeline, with no date. - July 6th I call and am told now to expect a call end of October at the earliest for a November install - double the original time. Ask about options to install before winter or a refund, told "3 days from order or you can't cancel". Was promised a salesman will call. No one calls. - July 21st I call again and am promised a salesman call, no one calls. They will be misleading about project times, use time pressure sales tactics (order now for lower labor) and then not communicate when they don't deliver.

Minnesota Rusco We 1st bought 3 windows in 2015

We 1st bought 3 windows in 2015. We bought 3 more on 8/11. I called at least twice a month trying to get windows installed. They finally came 4/13. The 2 windows we had replaced on upper level have tears on each of the screens. Neither window has been caulked either. The lower lower level window is not what we agreed on. We were told that it would match other windows. We were not given any samples and went off of sales reps word that they would match. The outside appearance is not at all the same. The inside casement is stained a completely different shade. I called and spoke to 3 different people to resolve this issue and they are insisting they did their job without looking for themselves. The installer also agreed with us. I would be fine with getting my old window back but was told us they no longer have it. Line14 of the contract states they will not remove or dispose of old materials. Line 10 states they may make minor variations of equal or better quality- what they installed is not equal or better!

Minnesota Rusco We had a Rusco representative come out the beginning of April to measure for siding and a new window and give us a quote

We had a Rusco representative come out the beginning of April to measure for siding and a new window and give us a quote. The contract clearly states work will be done in 12-14 weeks. We have paid 1/2 of the price as requested and we have seen nothing from Rusco. I called today because we were told that work would be done this week, 3 and a half months later than the contract states, and was told that we were not given a firm date and it would be another 2 to 3 weeks before they would be out. At this rate they have thousands of dollars from us (13,383 dollars to be exact) and can keep pushing the date out indefinitely. We were told by the person that measured for our siding that they were siding homes that contacted Rusco way after we did. We have waited 7 months with nothing and little to no communication on their part. I understand that COVID is an issue that they have to deal with, but again we contacted them almost 8 months ago and have been told by other siding companies that they could have come out within the month.

Minnesota Rusco We hired this company to install new windows

We hired this company to install new windows. They advertised two year interest free financing. We met with the sales person in May. They did inform us that they were about 14-16weeks booked out from doing the work. Which we were completely fine with. We were concerned about the 2 year time limit since the work was booked so far out. The sales person assured us that the two years would not start until after the work was completed. This is the only reason why we chose this company. After the work was completed. We received our invoice. It stated that the loan maturity date was May 2022. I called the lender they informed me I would need to work this out with the company that did the work. So I called MNRusco and Spoke with their finance department. They told me that the billing in fact starts when the contract is signed. This is not the information we were given. We would have NEVER went with this company if that was the case. Why would I start paying for something when the work wasn't even started until 5months after the contract was signed. This is extremely deceitful. Of course we are just the consumer getting screwed over by a big company. The response they gave me was there was nothing they could do. I am outraged but a civil person. The whole process has not been good. Our hands are tied and we are now on the hook for completing payments by May 2022. This is criminal and wrong. At this point it's basically a he said she said. I want this looked into so it doesn't happen to anyone else.

Minnesota Rusco I previously filled a complaint regarding the installation of replacement windows through Minnesota Rusco on January 29

I previously filled a complaint regarding the installation of replacement windows through Minnesota Rusco on January 29. On January 31 I received a call from the company that the windows would be installed on February 11. the temperature fell drastically on that date to -18 f. There was a crew of two that showed up to installed the windows. I was concerned with he extreme temperatures and voice this to the installer. I was assured there would be no problems with the installation or the setting up of the caulk for sealing the windows. I left allowing the crew to work without concerns for social distancing due to COVID precautions. I returned home at 6:30 pm and the crew was finishing up. At this time it was snowing and -10 f. I was informed there was a piece missing on the bathroom window and the crew would return when the part was available. They cleaned up and left. When I was able to look at the work that was completed, I was completely dissatisfied! There was multiple exposed nails on the inside trim. The inside trim was not replaced correctly. There was Blue caulk all over the white exterior trim. The caulk did not seal the joints or openings on the exterior. There are rips in the new screens and screw hole plugs were not installed. When called to set up the installation, I was assured I would be called when the installation was complete. I have not received any such call. I emailed the company when I found the errors and have not heard back from them either by email or the promised phone call. In a response to my previous complaint...the salesperson was not who set up the original installation date of January 25...it was an email from the company..

I contacted Minnesota Rusco to give me a quote on remodeling my bathroom because I thought "great deal the owner was presenting on their commercials. 2 years no interest 2 years no payments". Initially we made an appointment and they left a voicemail not long before the appointment saying that they overbooked themselves and needed to reschedule for the next Tuesday. We called back to reschedule, left a voicemail but did not hear back. So, we made another appointment online. Then they called and said that they were overbooked so they could not help us until the end of the month. My wife spoke to a manager and they ended up having enough availability. Then the salesman came to our home. We were told by their salesman that the commercials are correct but it really isn't. If you don't make payments for 2 years you will be screwed on the interest that they make retroactive. The commercial should only say "no interest for 2 years". The salesman took 2 hours to give us a quote, told us this information and it ended up being $39,000 and I needed to make the decision in 5 minutes because that is the only time we would get the deal. Even though the commercial says you have till May 31st to get the deal. Not happy that I only had 5 minutes to talk over with my wife for an almost $40,000 purchase! He was too busy to give us the deal any other time. He told us in two years we should just take a loan against our house because he would hate for us to file for bankruptcy. Not at all what the commercial describes. Then at the end of our meeting asked what he could have done better not to have wasted his time. Talk to your owner about the misleading commercial. STOP THE SMALL PRINT WE DONT NEED THAT CRAP AT THIS TIME IN THE WORLD!

Minnesota Rusco Thursday, 2/11: We had two sales reps out to our house to give us a bid on a bathroom remodel

Minnesota Rusco For 25 years my wife has wanted a new bathroom on the main level, finally I gave in and called a few numbers

For 25 years my wife has wanted a new bathroom on the main level, finally I gave in and called a few numbers. MN Rusco was first to answer and schedule an appointment. On August 17 a representative arrived, viewed the bathroom and explained about the mixing valve in the new shower fixture. I advised her that we already have a mixing valve attached to our water heater that is fueled by an outdoor wood boiler. Of course my spouse was hearing all the good things about the new shower, floor, etc... We decided to go with the Luxstone walls, kohler fixtures, a new floor and exhaust fan. At the end we were getting a great deal, tonight only with a slashed price of $18,000. Everybody asked why so much? Because it will be awesome and my spouse deserves it. We opted for the Greensky credit option, were approved and agreed to the $3,000 activation fee and signed the contract. We were told mid December for a start date. Great, done for Christmas! I cannot remember when, but a worker showed up to do a final measure, i wasn't home, but my spouse said he was confused about what was to be done. In mid December I pulled out the folder to recall what we were actually getting, it had been 4 months. I had no work description or explanation of what we were actually getting. I called Rusco and asked about the job description and was told to get the info from the sales person. I was unable to reach the sales person and called Rusco again and said I would like to cancel the whole thing. I was told to do that through the sales person as well. Still unable to reach sales person. I was contacted by Rusco the next week and told that Feb 1 was the installation date. I was contacted by a the fan installation guy and arranged for Jan 28th 3.30, I would be home from work then. At 10:30 the electrician showed up, unannounced! not enough room to explain the whole ordeal so I will need to wrap it up. they broke the sink handle, flooded the floor and it has been a mess ever since, still waiti

I asked for a bathroom quote. After an hour listening to the pitch, I asked them to leave. $7,500 more than the next lowest bid

I got a much lower bid, with better warranty. Their agent had nothing good to say about competitors. But their competitors didn't trash them at all.

I won't even bring up how bad their commercials are
