The keys don't work! I was assured by the Walmart employee that refunds are so easy you just need to call. None of the keys worked. I tried to get a refund and was told that I can't because it's been more than 30 days. I had issues with my pregnancy and that is why I couldn't call earlier. I thought I was going to lose the baby. They told me they can give me a coupon so I can make more keys that don't work. What a scam.

Do not bother trying to use these machines. They are worthless. I tried to copy my key at 2 different machines at 2 different places and neither one could do it. They should call these machines Minute Rip Offs.

I got 3 keys cut and they all came out wrong. I held the key.ALL THE WAY IN and it latched on to proceed with the cut. However it did not cut a tooth in the key which prevents me from locking or unlocking. The key did not fit the original after it scanned my key. So i would like to settle this enough so it doesnt happen to another customer. I wasted 8 dollars on 3 keys. Which i would think is a definite problem. Fix the machine please. Langley walmart location. ( there is only one in langley ). Hope maybe i can get a refund. Okay if not. Thank you for your time and consideration.

On 09/13 at 9:30 am EST, I attempted to purchase 1 spare key at the minute key automated kiosk at *** in West Bloomfield, Michigan and inserted my $5.00 bill for a $4.00 key. Screen displayed message that I owed $8.00 for 2 keys. Attempted to go back to previous screen to change my selection to 1 key as I had no addational cash for 2 keys.The user interface has no option for the consumer to go back to the previous screen, change the number of keys selected and the kiosk does not give refunds or change. The kiosk kept my $5.00, immediately contacted their customer service department for a refund. Minute key has no record of the attempted transactilon occuring nor could they locate the extra $5.00 inside their own kiosk. Minute key is scamming consumers out of their money every day because of purposely designed kiosks that do not refund money, provide correct change or track transactions accurately.

I used the minuteKEY machine in the lobby of a building in Warminster, PA 18974. I had a key made for $4.24 including tax. The machine offered a 'free' brass key with my purchase. I accepted, but the total jumped over $7, charging me $3 for the 'free' key. The offer initially listed the brass key at $3. I canceled and retried, but the issue persisted. The 'free' key was not free, hinting at a scam.

We called minutekey for a locksmith to make a key and key fob for my *** Focus. The locksmith called and rescheduled three times. Finally, when he came out, the car was running and he stated that we would have to wiggle it because the key was new and needed to be worn down. He stated that the keyfob needed a new battery but was programmed. He charged our card for $357.00 and left. we replaced the battery in the key fob and it did not work. I started my car but nothing would turn on like the heater and wipers. We called him and he said he would be out. He never showed up. We called the 800 for minutekey and were given the number to the locksmith company. We called them and they said they do not do business with minutekey but get these calls all the time. We called back to the *** number that we originally called for the locksmith and the rep stated he has my number and information and he would have the locksmith come out or call. Neither happened. We finally got ahold of the locksmith again and he said he would be out. Never showed up. I dont know what is going on but we are out $357.00 and no key or key fob.
