On 02/16/23, I signed up for a pair of hearing aids from Miracle-Ear. At that time, I paid a $1500 down payment. On 02/21/23, I picked up the hearing aids and paid the balance of $8,310.34.

On 03/13/23, I returned the Hearing Aids for a refund (as authorized under Oklahoma State Law). Vicki Martin, who was the Miracle-Ear consultant at the time, told me they had a sale coming up that would have saved me $2,300 on the purchase. She wrote a cancellation form saying that she would see if the company would give me that discount. If not, I would get the full refund. She told she would let me know in a couple of days. I agreed and left.

After not hearing from her for a few days, I called the Ardmore, OK office. The call was answered by a company switchboard and I was told that the Ardmore office could not be reached at that time. I later found out that Vicki was no longer with the company.

After finding out that Vicki Martin was no longer with the company, I went by the Ardmore office and talked to the girl that was there. She has been present and remembered my visit to return the hearing aids on March 13th and the arrangement I had made with Vicki. She told me there had been a lot of confusion in the office, and wrote out a new return notice. I turned in my hearing aids and left.

After again not hearing from Miracle-Ear for a week or so, I called the Ardmore Office. I talked to a man (I don't remember his name) who had been sent to Ardmore from the main office to straighten up all the mess in the office. He told me that my hearing aids had indeed been turned in and he had them in the office. He said to give him a couple of days to get it taken care of.

After again not hearing from Miracle-Ear for a week or so, I called the Ardmore Office and left a voicemail. I got no return call. I tried this several times.

When I finally got a return mail, the lady told me that the company would not authorize my refund, but she didn't know why. She me she would look into it, but the office was relocating and she would call me when the move was done. The new office has opened and I have heard nothing from them.

Desired outcome: I would like the full refund for my hearing aids, which were returned well within the time frame designated by law. The refund was supposed to be $8,690.00, as designated by the purchase agreement.
