Did not complete job, then ghosted.
WORST EXPERIENCE! Paid over $2,700 for Moving Proz to pack and move us from 1,300 to 3,700 sq ft, 2.4 miles away. I supervised them at first. Later, I offered to help them by driving to the final location and unloading my car (they loaded my car with bins, and I figured I’d unload them for them). I also told them I’d buy them lunch, and would return with their food. When I had the food in hand, and told them I was coming back, Mateo Chavez (lead mover) weirdly discouraged me from returning, saying they didn’t need to eat right then and were leaving to come to the house. However, they didn’t arrive for an hour (it’s a 6 minute drive). Perhaps they needed a break, but it was weird they wouldn’t want their lunch as part of that. I now believe they were trying to prevent me from coming back to the initial location, where I’d discover they hadn’t finished the job. When they finally arrived, they unloaded everything. After they got their $2,700+ and left (tipped and with pizza), we discovered several problems, the main one being that they DID NOT ACTUALLY PACK NOR MOVE MANY ITEMS FROM THE INITIAL LOCATION. They actually threw items into piles at the initial location and left them there, after lying to us and dissuading me from returning to the property. They also left their trash/drink bottles everywhere. Given that we had closed and had to be out of that location by midnight, I went to Home Depot to buy boxes and tape (they have the receipt but refuse to reimburse). I also immediately texted Mateo, who claimed they ran out of boxes and were “trying to stay on schedule.” But he never told me these things, never notified me. I immediately called Moving Proz customer service, who was polite but noncommittal. He said that he was very sorry and admitted all wrongdoing, but kept saying he needed to “talk to the manager and would keep [me] posted.” I called three times and at the third conversation he said he was trying to get some movers out that night, to do the job, but couldn’t guarantee it. He wouldn’t discuss any possibility of a refund. After three conversations he said he would call me back ASAP. So I stopped calling. And waited. I finally called back, and got a voicemail saying that customer service is closed. We’ve been defrauded. DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS! Also:
• Destroyed my dresser, said it was my fault.
• Broke storage shelf, said it was already broken (nope).
• Movers (4) were WAY too young. Two looked to be no more than 16. I caught one of them smoking at my house (hiding around the side of the house). I later found 2 cigarette butts.
• They never notified us they were out of boxes. Instead, they just stopped packing and left the initial residences with unpacked items they threw into piles (clean linens on the filthy floor).
• My wedding fur was thrown onto the floor in the closet, still on the hanger.
• We know they lied about being out of boxes, as I saw stacked flattened boxes inside the truck during unloading.
• Unpacking, we discovered over 50% of boxes were only 2/3 full. They didn’t fill the boxes *we paid for*.
• There was never a maximum number of boxes quoted.
• They lied, said that everything was off the patios from the first location (I have texts).
• Movers told customer service we had “gone over inventory” but this is not reflected on the quote/contract. In fact, the quote showed us paying for 40 boxes, plus 3 wardrobe boxes, but they only packed 30 boxes. This is UNDER inventory.
• One of the “wardrobe boxes” ($16.99), which costs 5x a normal box, wasn’t a wardrobe box– it was a box they stuffed hanging clothes in, wrinkling everything.
• Several hanging clothes were left in the closet, yet one of the wardrobe boxes was packed less than 50% full.
• Getting them to reassemble beds was impossible. One bed isn’t assembled and we have to hire someone.
• Several items from inventory list were not moved (two chairs, dog house, etc). This is not “going over inventory."
• Never got an itemized receipt. Receipt only shows the total.
• Customer service admitted mistakes, then ghosted us.
Recommendation: Buyer beware!
brandon, charles, and parker did a great job on our move
brandon, charles, and parker did a great job on our move. they had to deliver our stuff to three different places and they did it real quick. they were real pros and i would definitely recommend them and moving proz.
MovingProz did a great job with our move. They were on time, and under the time they budgeted for our move. They also took great care of our stuff and there were no damages. Definitely the best moving company I've ever used, and I've used quite a few of them over the past decade. Highly recommended!
intensive health issues and going into the hospital. I thought this would make things easier. That couldn't be further from the truth. Were the nice? Yes, that's not the issue. From the beginning...I was told a quote. I understand a quote is not exact but I specifically asked if it would be much higher or lower then the quote. He said he quotes higher on purpose and it will not be any higher than the quote made. The actual cost was about 30% or so higher than the quote. The admin/manager said that was not stated and didn't have all calls recorded. Then it's moving time. I have a $7000 massage chair that when they took out, they scrapped all the leather off all sides on the walls, scrapping the paint off two walls. I understood things happened and knew I could make a "claim", so I let it go for now. Then we get to my new house. They dragged a chair on my carpet, leaving a huge stain on my new carpet and scraped the paint on my new walls with a box. The individual finally said she would take $150 off due to the inconvenience and the claims will have to go through someone else. So...I start my claim. Since this company never told me I had options for which insurance I wanted, they selected the default FOR ME. When I questioned that today, they said "well you didn't ask". How do I ask something I didn't know was an option and all they said was sign here to protect anything from damages? With the claim I selected, I will be getting about $120 for my ruined $7000 therapeutic massage chair and who knows about the other stuff. In addition, I returned my old house only to noice that they left a substantial amount of items/boxes in my basement that I specifically pointed out to them that I needed them move. In trying to resolve this issue between them, it was implied that it was my fault for not asking these questions about the insurance among other things. I tried to do something to make my life easier due to my health circumstance and I'm now having to deal with all of this in the hospital due to the timeframe of needing to get everything in. I know this was long, but it was a lot and the professionalism and customer service has been even. more disappointing. I HIGHLY do NOT recommend this company to any individuals and wish I would have just gone with You Move Me. If you do use them, I sincerely hope your experience is better than mine.
I was giving a quote to move our townhouse into our new house which is a 3 minute drive away from each other. The guy I spoke to on the phone went over how many rooms and things of that nature. He asked if I had anything unusual that we would need them to move. We have a big tool chest and a deep freezer which I figured they don't move those all the time so I told him about thise. He asked how many boxes we had to move and I gave him a rough estimate since we were not done packing yet. He let me know that we might get charged extra if it took longer then the 2 hours he estimated the move might take since we had everything broken down and ready to load. We were fine with that. I got an email the day before giving us a window to expect the movers. (Between 1-4pm). I called after I got the email and asked if they could come any earlier. I was told they would get there as close to 1pm as possible. They ended up showing at 3:30pm. So that showed me they ran longer then expected at the job before me. When they got to our house I could tell the guys were tired already. Once again I completely understand. The guys that showed up to move us were very nice. However, they we slow at loading the truck (carrying 1 pillow at a time slow). It took them 2 and a half hours to load the truck. Once again fine with that eventhough I'm paying them by the hour. Once they realize that our new house was 3 minutes away they wanted to go unload the truck and come back for the rest. Well once we got to our new house, one of the guys left and another guy showed up. He said that they would only go back to our other house and get the washer/dryer and the deep freezer that was "on the inventory list" and nothing else because they had to be off the clock by a certain hour. Had I had known I had to name every single item they were going to touch in our house so they could be more precise with the time frame I would have. But obviously they went over at the customers house earlier in the day which I guess is why I got screwed. They didn't offer to come back another time the next day or anything. So here we are having to hire another moving company to finish what this company left behind. 700$ to this company and I'm still having to hire someone else to complete the job! As a manager in retail, I would have offered some sort of resolution especially with a customer willing to pay to get the jib done.
Had a good time with Moving Proz for our local move
Had a good time with Moving Proz for our local move. *** and *** were real pros and knew how to take care of our tricky stuff. Moving Proz made sure our experience was positive and we'd tell others to give them a try.
Great experience with Moving Proz, LLC!
Great experience with Moving Proz, LLC! They were awesome from start to finish. I'll definitely use them again! I want to give a shoutout to *** and *** for being our crew. They were super quick, polite, kind, and didn't hesitate when I asked for adjustments. And the best part? It was cheaper than expected! This was hands down the best move I've ever had!
I had a bad experience with this company
I had a bad experience with this company. They left me with broken furniture, scraped newly finished hardwood floor, and other unprofessional behavior. Their claims process is fake, and I had to pay for the damages to my dining room table myself. I also had to pay for numerous other smaller items, including an antique. Don't use this company!
The crew from Moving Proz was amazing
The crew from Moving Proz was amazing. They were super professional, friendly, and got the job done fast. They really cared about their work and made my move easy. Thanks so much guys! I would definitely tell my friends to use them and I'll use them again next time I move.
Experience was alright
Experience was alright. Scheduling was easy and fast with lots of moving dates to choose from. I had 3 movers who were nice and respectful. But, after about 1.5 hours, the team got careless with furniture pieces. I had damage to walls, archways, and even scratches on the hardwood floors. When unloading the truck, there were 2 damaged storage totes that were cracked and broke several ceramic pieces and shattered the plastic container and a different lid. I also had damage to a sleep number bed where the air compartment was cut and couldn't inflate. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone because of the damage to my house and items.
Don't use Moving Proz, LLC for your move
Don't use Moving Proz, LLC for your move. They messed up my stuff, scratched my sofa, hardwood floors, and broke a cupboard. They told me to use insurance, but it was useless and no good. Even after I showed them pictures, the insurance company said no and told me to contact Moving Proz. But they never helped me and I had to settle for $100 instead of $1000 worth of damages. I paid $2500 for moving, but this company doesn't care about customers or ethics. They have no credibility or responsibility.
So, I was told a big fat lie about a "covid outbreak" within their team, which made them cancel and not schedule any upcoming move
So, I was told a big fat lie about a "covid outbreak" within their team, which made them cancel and not schedule any upcoming move. I had a virtual walk through with *** and he said he'd send my estimate within the hour, but I never got it. The next day, I called and *** told me about the covid outbreak. I called again and got another guy who didn't know anything about it, but he said they were available a week out. When I asked about the covid outbreak, he said he would check with ***. I never got a response. I called back and spoke with a lady who apologized and said someone would be in contact. It's been 4 hours and I'm still waiting. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
I had a bad moving experience with Moving Proz, LLC
I had a bad moving experience with Moving Proz, LLC. I've used them before and referred people to them, but this time was terrible. The movers arrived on time, but I smelled marijuana on them. They started taking apart things I didn't sign a waiver for, but I didn't say anything. It took almost 4 hours and cost $1500 instead of the $600 I was quoted. They broke my $3000 TV and offered me only $27 for it. The manager laughed when I mentioned the weed smell and said they'd give me $170 back for labor and let me go through insurance. Insurance took a month to give me a quote and they offered me .60 a lb for the TV. The manager said that was going above and beyond. I emailed them 11 days ago and haven't heard back. I won't use them again.
Kevin, Antoine, Jeremiah and Braden did an excellent job
Kevin, Antoine, Jeremiah and Braden did an excellent job. They were careful, conscientious, and clearly experienced. They also worked together like a well-oiled machine. I heartily recommend them.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

Moving Proz moved my stuff on 11/20
Moving Proz moved my stuff on 11/20. Job #*** The movers messed up the fridge handle. Their site said to file a claim with www.***.org. They need a "bill of laden with valuation addendum" to do it. Even though I emailed and called, they haven't given it to me yet.
On May 1st, we hired Moving Proz to move us to our new crib
On May 1st, we hired Moving Proz to move us to our new crib. During the move, some of our stuff got messed up and wrecked. We took some pics of the damage on the day of the move. We hit up the company on Monday morning after the move and they told us to file a claim with their insurance company. So, we did that. Just got word back from them and they're only offering us 6 bucks to replace our busted furniture. That's insane and totally not cool. We put a hold on the payment with our credit card company and we gotta get this sorted out, yo.
We did what they said for COVID-19 and rescheduled our move because someone we knew had it
We did what they said for COVID-19 and rescheduled our move because someone we knew had it. But then, one of the team freaked out because they had been around someone who had it two weeks before. We were nice to them, even bought them lunch and washed their car, but they got all mean and nasty towards us. They just threw our stuff all over the place, even breaking some things and losing others. We tried to talk to them about it and asked for a discount, but they just said they would check with their boss. Then, they went ahead and charged us the full amount without our permission and won't even answer our calls now. It was a really bad start to our new home.

We booked Moving Proz to move us from Kansas City, Kansas to a loft in Kansas City, Missouri on September 7th
We booked Moving Proz to move us from Kansas City, Kansas to a loft in Kansas City, Missouri on September 7th. We paid $616.08 plus $60 in cash tips on the day of the move, making it a total of $676.08. Most of our stuff got damaged and was treated poorly. Our couches and pillows were left on the back of the truck's loading bay without any care, so we had to hire an upholstery cleaner for $362.00. We filed a claim through their third party claim adjuster on September 13th, and got a claim ID and order/job number. On September 17th, the claim was reviewed and agreed to reimburse us $285.60. It's not enough considering the upholstery cleaning cost more, and we still have damaged items. said their job was done, and we should contact Moving Proz for payment. We tried emailing, chatting, and leaving a voicemail, but no one has responded. We haven't received the agreed-upon refund, and it's been weeks. Please hurry up and pay us! This is unprofessional, and it seems like this company is pitiful from the ground up.
I bought my new crib for me and my kid on 4/20/2022
I bought my new crib for me and my kid on 4/20/2022. I got the keys on 4/22/2022. The old owner hired Moving Proz. They messed up my drywall/plaster wall, broke a stair in half, and cracked the landing strip of the stair. They also broke two transition pieces and ruined the weather stripping. They took a whole week to even call me back. I called my own guy and *** said I could use him and she would check with her boss. I got 4 quotes for $2,000-$2,800 to fix the wall so it's strong. They said no and offered me $557. They also said I could use their drywall guy, but he doesn't do plaster. They said they only have to fix it so it looks like it did before they messed it up. They've been telling me for 3 weeks they're trying to get a flooring guy to come out. I asked for the number and called myself. I asked for their insurance so I could file a claim and they said no. I didn't hire them, the old owner did. I'm a single mom with a 3 year old. The broken stair is dangerous and my kid could get hurt. I asked who's responsible and they didn't answer.
