I am in South Africa and I have never ever had an issue with Mr Porter. They keep exceeding my expectations. The ratings in here are definitely not a true reflection of the [protected]@ Mr Porter. The only downside is that I am unable to trust any other online seller. Mr porter set the bar much higher.

Guess what - the customer service was good (there were a few emails exchange between me and them re my order and they came back to me with fast response) and delivery was smooth. Dispatched on Monday and received the item on Wednesday (from UK to Singapore). Packing was nicely done and item is in good condition. Hope my bf loves his birthday present.

Disappointed with MR PORTER: Wrong Size and Used Garment Received
I recently made a purchase from MR PORTER, an online retailer that offers a variety of high-end fashion items. I was excited to receive my black cotton Smedley polo neck, which I had ordered in November 2022 for a price of ?180. I recently received my delivery from Mr Porter and I must say, I was quite disappointed with the quality of the items I received. As someone who owns a lot of Essentials items, I can confidently say that the items I received were counterfeit. The stitching was absolutely terrible, with loose threads all over the garments. The material was also very thin and not at all what I was expecting. To make matters worse, the tags on the items said they were made in China, whereas all of my other Essential items have been made in Vietnam.
I was shocked to see such poor quality items from a supposedly reputable brand like Mr Porter. I have seen my fair share of bad counterfeits, but this was by far the worst I have ever seen. The issues began when I received an email saying that the returned goods had been received, and I was subsequently issued a refund. However, when I checked the details, I had only received a refund for two items. I tried to contact the customer help team on the phone, but to no avail, so I sent them a message on Twitter. Their response was not helpful, and they accused me of only returning two items when I had clearly returned all three. This was a complete and utter lie by someone at Mr Porter.

Me been shopping at Mr. Porter for a long time now and me have to say that me feel like they not what they used to be. They be selling too much casual clothes now which be way too expensive. They be trying to sell designer T-shirts for like $300-$500 and that be way too much for just some cotton shirt made in China. They used to have some good stuff that was worth the price, but now it just be overpriced clothes with fancy labels that be made in countries like Portugal, Romania and China.

So, I'm a big fan of shopping on Net-a-Porter and my husband has been shopping at Mr Porter since they started. But today, after calling customer service a bunch of times in the last week and a half, I was told that they'll "request expedited shipping" but there's no guarantees that I'll get my order by Christmas. Other retailers that deal with customs don't seem to have these kinds of problems. Or they're just BSing their customers. I've found Mr Porter's customer service to be borderline helpful. They use the excuse "well Mr Porter as a company can't make any promises" to explain away their dismal assistance. A few months ago, I had an issue with Matchesfashion, where a dress I ordered for a trip got held up with some shipping and customs problem. They immediately changed my shipping method to next day air and even coordinated with UPS to meet me on my way to the airport to deliver the package. That's the kind of service you deserve and expect when you're spending over $1000 per order as a loyal customer.
I'm done with this company and can't even believe it's related to Net-a-Porter in any way- their customer service is just not on the same level.

So they tell me to use another credit card and make the order again, and guess what? It gets canceled again the very next day, not once, but TWICE! The cherry on top is when the manager tells me I can't buy nothing from them again, like, ever. So what's the point of holding on to my $2400 then, huh? They say they think I'm trying to scam them?! But I'm the one who got scammed, coz I ain't got my shoes or my money back! And, let's be real here, if you're paying that much for shoes, you deserve some d*** good customer service, not this hot mess!

yo guys, let me tell ya bout my experience with Mr. Porter. So, I bought these jeans that were supposed to be made with SELVEDGE Denim. Now, I ain't no denim expert, but I know what SELVEDGE denim is and I was excited to get my hands on it. But when I got my package, I was super disappointed to find out that the jeans were just regular weave denim! I was heated, man. So I hit up Mr. Porter and showed them the pics and asked for a refund. But they straight up ignored me, folks. And when they finally did reply, they only refunded me a fraction of what I paid! I'm talking like almost 40% of my dough was gone just cause they messed up. I know it wasn't a crazy amount of money, but still, it was the principle that got me.
And like, if they can't even get the fabric of the jeans right, how can you trust them to sell you gold or silver jewelry? I mean, what if they say it's pure gold when really it's just some knock-off shine? You'd be out here losing money left and right with these guys. And they ain't even trying to fix their mistake or give me a proper refund. Like what's up with that?
Honestly, I've been a customer with these guys for a while now, since like 2015 or 2016. And I can tell you that the service ain't what it used to be. Order of more than 1100?.
I take the pair of balenciaga to their Parisian shop and ask them why I usually wear a size 42 and it's too big... they tell me clearly that it's a counterfeit.
So I call MrPorter and they tell me to send the pair back so they can send me a pair in 41. And then to go back to the shop to have them checked if I don't trust them.
From there I send them back, following their procedure (I insist), and as if by the greatest of luck, they tell me after 3 weeks that they have received an empty parcel (obviously I am not the only one to have this misadventure).
Now MrPorter is blaming everything on the UPS carrier.
They pretend not to understand and send back the same emails.
They are obviously used to doing this.
They have never tried to find a solution.
As I said, I followed the procedure to the letter, by handing over the parcel to the relay point and it was indeed the person from the relay point who sealed the parcel.

They be trying to sell designer T-shirts for like $300-$500 and that be way too much for just some cotton shirt made in China. They used to have some good stuff that was worth the price, but now it just be overpriced clothes with fancy labels that be made in countries like Portugal, Romania and China.
