I am in South Africa and I have never ever had an issue with Mr Porter. They keep exceeding my expectations. The ratings in here are definitely not a true reflection of the [protected]@ Mr Porter. Guess what - the customer service was good (there were a few emails exchange between me and them re my order and they came back to me with fast response) and delivery was smooth. Dispatched on Monday and received the item on Wednesday (from UK to Singapore). Packing was nicely done and item is in good condition. Hope my bf loves his birthday present.

I'm used to buying on the internet, and here I'm shocked by the methods.
I don't usually leave reviews but if I do it's to prevent this scam from continuing.
If you want your money stolen, it's theirs!
Order of more than 1100?.
I take the pair of balenciaga to their Parisian shop and ask them why I usually wear a size 42 and it's too big... they tell me clearly that it's a counterfeit.
So I call MrPorter and they tell me to send the pair back so they can send me a pair in 41. And then to go back to the shop to have them checked if I don't trust them.
From there I send them back, following their procedure (I insist), and as if by the greatest of luck, they tell me after 3 weeks that they have received an empty parcel (obviously I am not the only one to have this misadventure).
Now MrPorter is blaming everything on the UPS carrier.
They pretend not to understand and send back the same emails.
They are obviously used to doing this.
They have never tried to find a solution.
As I said, I followed the procedure to the letter, by handing over the parcel to the relay point and it was indeed the person from the relay point who sealed the parcel.
I should have known right away when the Balenciaga salesman drew my attention to the fact that the goods were fake...
Now the parcel was supposedly received empty, a method to make the fact that they sold counterfeit goods disappear.
The seller knew this site and gave me a big smile and told me to file a complaint immediately!

It was only after I contacted their support team and pushed for answers that they finally admitted that it was a technical error on their part. Me been shopping at Mr. Porter for a long time now and me have to say that me feel like they not what they used to be. They be selling too much casual clothes now which be way too expensive. They be trying to sell designer T-shirts for like $300-$500 and that be way too much for just some cotton shirt made in China. They used to have some good stuff that was worth the price, but now it just be overpriced clothes with fancy labels that be made in countries like Portugal, Romania and China.
They used to be the place where me could find cool brands from Europe that nobody knew about, but now it be all LVMG brands. That stuff be overpriced crap that you can find at outlet stores for like 60% off at the end of the season. Me not happy with that.
Another thing that be really misleading about Mr. Porter be that they lie about where the clothes be made. Me bought some Falke underwear and they said it be made in Germany, but when me got it, the label said it be made in Portugal. Me had that happen to me a lot and me not happy with that at all. And when they say 'imported' that just be a fancy way to say it be made in China, which me not happy about at all.

I placed an order on mrporter.com for some items totalling about ?650. I was excited to receive my package but unfortunately their delivery partners, DHL, failed to show up. I reached out to DHL and they admitted that their driver wasn't even in the area at the time of delivery.

I contacted Mr Porter customer service and they told me that the only solution was to purchase another set of clothes worth ?650 and have them delivered on their premium delivery service. They assured me that they would recall the first order and refund me the initial amount of ?650. Avoid Mr Porter's Furniture Shifting Division – Unprofessional and Cheap
So, I had a chance to try out Mr Porter (mrporter.com) and I gotta say, it's not the best experience I've ever had. I specifically used their furniture shifting division, and to be honest, it was a total flop.
The thing is, they outsource their work to the cheapest companies out there with no regard for professionalism or experience. It's like they have some kind of deal with these low-cost cheapsters, because there's no way that they've been chosen for any other reason than to cut cost.
One of these low-cost service companies was tasked with shifting my furniture and they were so unprofessional it was ridiculous. I complained to the managers, but no real action was taken. To show how bad it was, I even have some voice recordings of the people who shifted my furniture that I'm willing to share with the higher-ups.
Honestly, I don't recommend using their furniture shifting service. It's a total flop model that will only give you headaches.

The first order went through without any problem and I received my shoes in a timely manner. However, the second order was a bit of a mess. I waited and waited for the shoes to come, but they never did.
After a few days, I decided to reach out to customer service to see what was going on. Turns out, there was some sort of "verification error" in their system. Apparently, they needed me to verify my account before they could send me the shoes. But, here's the thing, I never received any sort of notification or email telling me to do so.
To make things worse, I found out that my second purchase had been cancelled without me even knowin' about it. I was pretty frustrated by this point. When I called customer service, they couldn't help me with the original purchase and said that I had to go back to the website and buy the shoes again. But, get this, the shoes were on sale when I initially purchased them. Now, the sale was over and my size was no longer available.
Overall, I was not impressed with my shopping experience at Mr Porter. It's a shame because I was really lookin' forward to my new shoes. But, unfortunately, I won't be comin' back here anytime soon.
