Poor quality, not durable, company does not honor warranty
Contrary to the advertising by MySpaCover, its spa cover is NOT "long lasting," is NOT "high quality," and is NOT "well made." Instead, it is poorly manufactured, of poor quality, and is very poorly made. I ordered the top quality product advertised but the stitching on my spa cover failed in numerous places due to serious defects in the manufacturing process. Although advertised to last 5 years (with a five year warranty which the company refuses to honor), the spa cover I bought lasted only THREE years and several months. When I sent the company photos of the numerous defects, the manufacturer refused to provide a replacement or even a partial refund, claiming "normal wear and tear." Since this flimsy product cannot survive "normal wear and tear," you should not buy from this company, which refuses honor its warranty and makes a mockery of the public by its continued blatantly false advertising. Terrible Experience with Myspacover: Long Shipping Delay and Poor Customer Service
I ordered a cover from Myspacover like 12 weeks ago, and guess what? It still hasn't shipped! Can you believe it? I mean, come on! That's just plain ridiculous. And let me tell you, their customer service is a total letdown. I tried reaching out to them, but it's like talking to a brick wall. They don't seem to care one bit about their customers. So, my advice to you is to steer clear of this company and find another one that actually values their customers. Trust me, you'll save yourself a whole lot of frustration and disappointment.
Disappointing Delays and Lack of Communication: My Spa Cover's Unreliable Service
The My Spa Cover website says it takes 2 to 3 weeks to make the cover and then 2 to 6 business days for it to be delivered. I ordered a cover and they didn't tell me until after I paid that it would actually take a lot longer, like 10 to 12 weeks. They blamed it on the industry being busy, the holiday season, and health and safety stuff. I've been waiting for over 3 months now and they finally told me that they already cut the vinyl and it's on its way to their Pennsylvania facility to finish making the cover. I don't really know what that means, but it sounds like it's gonna take even longer. So after waiting for 3 months, they tell me the vinyl is cut and maybe the cover will ship by the end of the month. That means it's gonna be at least 4 months before I get my cover. And they didn't even bother telling me all this until I asked them when it was gonna ship. They don't give you updates on your order unless you bug them about it. I've asked twice already. The first time, they gave me a rough estimate for shipping that didn't happen. The second time, they told me what I quoted earlier. I'm really mad that I spent so much money on a hot tub cover from My Spa Cover and all I got was a bunch of excuses.
