I've gotten a couple dozen phone calls from this company, trying to sell me an extended warranty on a 10 year old vehicle. I've used their "press 2 to be removed" system, and they call back. I've talked to their agent and asked to be removed from their calling system, and was told I would be...and they called back. I've talked to their agents several more times, asked to be removed each time, been told I would be each time, yet still they keep calling back. Most recent was 10 minutes ago.
I have no relationship with this company, but I'm about to send them a registered letter telling them that if they call me again I will bill them for my time and the use of my phone equipment for their marketing calls, and that their agreement to my terms will be signaled by their next call to my phone number. Failure to pay will result in a suit for collection in Maryland. I'd prefer that they just stop calling me...
I recieved a call last night (7/29/10) and was called "lazy" by the salesperson when I questioned the authenticity of the company. He then told me I did not need to be driving a high end vehicle and stated that I should be driving a Kia instead. He became more and more irrate and told me he calls that "[censor] rich" I was so insulted. I did nothing to provoke this kind of onslaught, which I did not deserve under any circumstances. I will contact the BBB and my Attorney General.
i dont know what the hell all you [censor]s are talking about these people were very nice when i spoke with them over the phone they stayed on the phone with me for an hour answering every question i had, the policy they sell is actually one of the best extended warranty companies out there american auto sheild i went to my dealership the day after i received the policy and learned once your out of your manufactured warranty you cannot get the official honda care extended warranty they will not give it to you instead they tried to sell me an american auto sheild policy for 2100$ with a 6.5 percent interest rate attached to the plan...i got the same exact plan from national auto for 2300$ interest free an i only put 95$ down and pay 95$ a month
I also don't know how to get these "pests" to stop calling me!
At one time I had a brand new VW Jetta that ended up getting totaled
in a car accident. I then got a '92 BMW (that clearly doesn't need any
kind of warranty!) About 2 months ago they started calling me.
The 1st call was pleasant, I told the guy that I never owned a Subaru & I didn't have a need for any warranty. The 2nd call I told the guy to please remove me from their calling list. By the 3rd call I got irrate!
I told the guy that I do not have a need for what they are trying to sell me and WHY was I still on their call list when I asked to be removed. I couldn't believe what he said next... He told me the problem he had with me is I wasn't revealing what year/make/model car I currently
have! I told him (with a few choice words) that I didn't have to tell him
anything!#@*~ They are still calling, I just don't pick up the phone.
I also don't know how to get these "pests" to stop calling me.

I couldn't believe what he said next...He told me the problem he had with me was I wasn't revealing what year/make/model vehicle I currently own. With a few choice words I told him he isn't ever going to find out! Well, they STILL keep calling me. When I see on the caller ID it's National Auto I don't bother to pick up the phone and they never leave a message.
aaron ur a [censor]in liar...ur only saying that because ur sleeping with brian jozwiak...nation auto division sucks donkey balls...u dnt even have a [censor]in car
I received my phone call while at work on a RECORDED line. I let the woman talk and finally I asked her for a number where she could be reached as my husband takes care of all that I just drive the cars. She continued by asking me what my hesitation was and I again asked for the businesses number. A simple question really. She became irritated because my warranty was ending in like 5 minutes I guess and it would be unreasonable to want to look at my paper work and get back with this legitimate company.. RIGHT SCAM SCAM SCAM . The lady quickly ended our conversation without giving me a number.
FOR NATIONAL AUTO DIVISION YOU CALLED ME AT WORK ON A RECODED LINE AT A POLICE DEPARTMENT !
We have been getting the calls for about 6 months, but we've never heard *anything* on the other line! It's almost even more frustrating. We're getting these hangup calls at LEAST twice a day, every day.
We are on the ndnc list and have called the number back and gotten a promt to verbally enter our number to be placed on their do not call list. Verbally, really? We knew it wasn't gonna do anything.
It's harrassement!
And no, we never called a number from a mailer, never called anyone back... nothing. We did not subject ourselves to this in any way.
There's gotta be SOMEthing SOMEbody can do.
I agree...This company sold my ingnorant butt a policy...however it was nothing that was agreed too. I was sent a high mileage policy on a low milage vehicle and none of the items I was told were covered were. I was told bumper to bumper yet was given a high milage policy that barely covered anything. I was also told after looking over the policy if I did not like it I could cancel...he said just give him a call. The problem is...I never got it...until after the first payment was due and the second was going to be due. When I did speak to him I was going over the policy with him...and let him know this is not what I was informed I was getting. When I told him to cancel he told me sorry but I would have send the contract back with a notarized statement at the date of the request within 60 of the contract purchase date. What the heck! Can we say cons!
I think everyone needs to get together and file against these guys and close there unsavory operation down.
As everyone else says, they keep contacting us over and over and over for the last couple months claiming that they are offering an extended warranty on our 8 year old car. I'm not sure how they got the info as I just bought the car 2 months ago and got a new phone number 4 months ago. The only people who I told about buying the car and gave my home phone to is the local Tax Collector's office.
Either way, they call once a day, sometimes twice and don't say anything. If my mom says "Hello, " they hang up. If me or my father answers, they ask for my dad. I pretended to be my dad to get their whole BS story and then hung up. The persist on calling still. It's a real nuisance and a bother to my whole family as they love to call around dinner time or whenever my handicapped sister is trying to rest.
Anywho, I'm going to start investigating this company and filing the proper complaints since their Do Not Call registry is obviously BS. If I can, I'll do more. Personally, I would like to see everyone who works for this company drawn and quartered but I doubt that's going to happen so I'll be satisfied if they get taken down.
The number they call from is: [protected].
National Dealers Warranty Inc .. "Derrick" called my home today about my husbands 2006 pontiac GTO today trying to tell me that the factory warranty had expired on the vehicle when in fact we still have 6 months left on the warranty and we purchased a GMPP on the vehicle for an additional 5 years, just 6 months ago... I attempted to find out if he was calling from GM he stated yes. I asked him if he sells GMPP he stated No but they rep the manufacturer.. I began to explain that I already purchased a warranty for my vehicle and was not interested. He proceeded to tell me I did not know what the HELL i was talking about. When I stated i did not appreciate his comment he told me "calm down" I adivsed him that he called my house and that I was not going to be spoken to in this manner.. I asked to speak to a supervisor... He refused stated he did not feel like getting up.. I advised him that I am well educated and that I know that I have a warranty and I do not appreciate them calling he kept saying there you go agian getting all worked up you need to calm down .. After requesting a Supervisor 10 times in a row.. I got Angry and I told him to F***ing go to hell... and to never call my home again. he asked why i was so upset. I explained that i was not going to have some sarcastic [censor] call my home and talk to in this manner. He obviously is in the wrong line of work Customer Service is not done this way. He then stated that he was going to file harrassment charges against me for cursing at him.. I adivsed him that he called myhome I did not call him and that he can not threaten me like that. and demanded a supervisor agian. I asked him for his name and id number he refused to provide it to me and he then stated that I would receive a letter form his attny at my address that he then read off to me again.. As I woman I feel very unsafe that this man has my phone number, name and address... I then asked for supervisor again and explained that as a customer I have more rights than he does and his threat is very serious he pretended to put me on hold and the the call was disconnected. When I tried to call the [protected] number I got a busy signal.. all that came across my caller ID was Springlake NJ and this number..
I just received a call from them and thank you everyone for posting info about this awful company. I had to argue with this sales person for about 10 min. He talked about how they have a great rating on the BBB but what most people dont know is that companies that have a D or an F as a rating can put out money and buy a better rating. I used to always look at the BBB as a reliable source but apparently they love money and will do anything for these awful companies that really should keep an F or D rating. They talk about a no problem hold on your card and then you can cancel after 30 days do not give anything out over the phone once they have your card they can do anything so just dont let them have that control. Remember you always have control they called you you didnt call them.
I have been an employee with the Real National Auto Division for a year now everyone has their point in a way. First of all people use their credit cards everyday over the phone but if your smart you will check your transactions everyday you are protected by the card issuer for any "false" transactions. When you recieve a call be honest and most importantly LISTEN! ask any questions and they will be answered. The company has been in operation for a long time and simply brokers coverage for great insurance companies (i.e. Gold Key, American Auto Shield.) look them up on the BBB.org A+ ratings for all. Its smartest if you do review the coverage available to you and if you feel you were mislead cancel you get 100% refund no problem. anymore questions feel free to contact me by email. kgfield6@aol.com
I hate them...Someone send me a number where i can talk to someone i want to cuss out all of them
I just got 3 calls within an hour from this company, the first time they hung up when I answered after 2 rings and this last time I asked to be taken off of the call list and the man said no and hung up the phone!
They have been calling me for weeks. Finally I answered and they asked me about a car I didn't own. When I told them I didn't own that vehicle they man told me "your a real nasty old [censor], You need to shut the F up and listen for once." I hung up. He never told me what he was selling and through internet research I discovered they were selling me a extended warranty. Such a horrible thing to say to a 76 year old woman!
This company sold me my warrant as late as least year. Now since then i have had my engine changed, and my braking system now for two hundred bucks for two different repairs.. Thats saving money, i dont know why you people are so angry with your coverage. Maybe you should ask a little more about something before you buy it. I love my bumber to bumber.
I just got off the phone with Paul Blain. We stayed on the phone for about an hour and a half of so. It became amusing for me when I told Paul that I was not in a financial position to accept the terms of the contract and he hit the "Restart Button" on the side of his head and started to give me the entire sales pitch again. I mean if I don't have the money, I don't have the money! We went in this cycle for about 7 or 8 turns. I finally told him that I could pawn my X-Box for the money (like that's really gonna happen) and he said that it was a good idea and he would call me back on Monday after I get off work. I think I'm going to tell him that the pawn shop got robbed while I was there and the guys took my wallet, all the cash in the register, and my X-Box. I'm goint to play with these people for as long as I can until they just give up.
I bought a Gentry Auto Warranty and got a great price and so far good service. www.gentryautowarranty.com
I received a call from them tonight. I would never give a credit card number based only on a telephone call - shame on anyone who would do something so stupid. They attempted to validate their legitimacy by saying they had my auto's vin (a Lexus which will probably last for another 200K miles) and my address. This of course is readily available to anyone. When I told them I needed some information in writing by regular mail before I commit any funds, the second person I talked to (a supervisor supposedly), hung up on me. Clearly a scam and judging from their website a non-existent company. Doubt they'll call me again.
national auto divison is a fuking scam! and the one that r saying there a great company lol yeah okay like we dnt know u probably work for them and jus trying to make ur stupid company look good ! someone need to put a lawsuit on them and maybe ill be that one to do so! ###s!
FINAL SALE means NO RETURNS. Is that so hard to understand?
If they are calling everyday just put Mr Number app on your cell phone. You can set the setting to block all spam or you can enter in numbers to block any 800 or any numbers from certain area codes. I havent had any calls from any solicitors, bill collectors, etc. ever since I put this app on my phone.
Purchased a vehicle from Guaranty Chevrolet, Junction City, OR, 18 months ago. Bought extended warranty ($135 per mo). A couple days ago, I was driving my vehicle and all of a sudden it started clanging and banging. Had it towed to body shop for repairs. Surprise, surprise - water pump broke, timing belt came off timing belt tensioner, parts caused vales to jump into pistons. National is claiming that this is NOT covered in my policy. Uh, EXCUSE ME?!? What the hell am I paying for? However, the woman at guaranty that signed us up for this BS warranty said that the water pump and timing belt were covered! So, here I sit without a car and making payments of $300 on remaining balance! DO NOT PURCHASE EXTENDED WARRANTY, they never pay for any damages.
Oh, timing belt kit was not due to be replace for another 12, 000 miles. I have just under 3, 000 miles that I put on the vehicle since I bought it!
Please don't be fooled by this company... The only thing they're concerned with is getting your credit card. I know 2 people who work there and have explained to me that the place is filled with drug addicts, previous criminals and drug dealers. The Howell Police Dept, NJ is continuously in and out of there looking for the criminal activity. MANAGEMENT is well aware of this activity too... I was told that an individual, who is a heroin addict, was throwing up on the sales floor and the main Manager advised him to go to the bathroom and fix himself up (Do more Dop) and come back and "MAKE CALLS. " If you are contacted by them and you want them to STOP calling, the ONLY WAY TO DO SO IS THIS: "PUT ME ON YOU'RE DO NOT CALL LIST." And I emphasize the word "LIST." If you simply say something like never call me again, they will disposition the call as "NOT INTERESTED." And you WILL get a call back very shortly sometimes minutes later because they can manually put a time for a "Call Back, " in there system and they'll do it out of Spite. The Managers will continuously listen to phone calls being made and if the employee did not keep the customer on the line until a Hang UP, they will receive a PAY CUT... They claim they received the VIN from the dealership or the NATIONAL DATABASE because the customer never accepted an extended warranty. (COMPLETE LIE, OUT OF A MILLION) I was told that in thier main division, the manager told a fairly new employee, "You have to be Grimy to get the Credit Card." They will use any tactic possible to make you believe that "THIS IS YOUR FINAL OPTION FOR EXTENDED SERVICE CONTRACT." Even if your vehicle is a 1993, they have been saying that statement since then. Just Google "NATIONAL AUTO DIVISION, " and look at all of the [redacted]s... They also Prey upon Florida residents being that many older people with money retire there and they know these people have money and are easier to CON. I could go on and on but just simply DO NOT TAKE THEIR CRAP. BTW, don't always take it out on the people who make the calls because every person is monitored and if they do not say what management wants them to say, they will immediately be fired, and that is a FACT. A person was just recently fired also for asking to go to the hospital being ill and they even said they would come right back with DOCUMENTATION. Management simply fired him for asking this. I feel very bad for the people who are just trying to make a living there and are not drug addicts or sellers and know that what they are doing is unethical...
Just happened to me. TOTAL RIPE OFFF! Whatever you do don't believe these ###! They ripped me off 150 dollars. This seriously ticked off my night.
I recieved a phone call today from national auto division. He was going all over the plan and how great it was. While talking to him something wasn't quite right. He said he needed credit card number to get this special offering. I refused to give my credit card number over the phone and I hung up. I am very glad I did. I have been reading many complaints so I am glad I listened to my gut.
very bad this company is, the sale man told me that you have 30 days to cancel the contract, but when I actually called to cancel, the customer service woman was horrible, she said I am taking advantage of the policy(in fact I have not signed the contract yet, only received the booklet), and even suggest my name is funny(I am from Asian); and then she told me to I can not cancel the policy via the phone, I have to write to the company in CO...
I live in Canada. I do shop at Talbots once in a while. Recently I tried to place an order on line. I put few items in the virtual shopping bag and took advantage of their offer to store it there for a month. When I returned, few days later one of the item was gone and was no longer available (clearance). They explained that if someone wanted the item and it was the last one they could not hold it. Made sense to me. What did not is after I paid for 5 items and after they charged me $25.00 flat delivery fee, one of the item was gone...they amended the total of the sale...but left me without the item, which, as you guessed by now, was no longer available. I called them, but did not receive any offer to correct the situation. They are very good at saying how good they are and how sorry they feel but provide not measure of resolution. In which universe is it acceptable to enter a sale contract, agree on the amount, put the sale through and then change the nature of the contract. Although the price was good, I would advice people to stay away from their online service. They are unethical, which raised serious doubt about their integrity and the protection of your personal information. Caveat emptor!
Actually, since they had explicitly agreed to sell specific items for a specific amount and that I had agreed to purchase the items and agreed to pay the specific amount, and that we had agreed on the method of payment and the delivery, they were contractually bound and should have either correct the situation by finding a replacement item (which after verification was proven to be available) or offer a remedial solution (by reducing the delivery cost, which is extremely high) . So Brenda, in my reality, you are wrong, they did not correct the situation. It would have been a different story had they warned me prior to putting the credit card through. In fact, once the transaction is started, the items should be locked automatically to prevent removal and allow the agreed transaction to go through. When I called them, they actually acknowledge that this was not right. In any case, my opinion about their business practice remains, and I will exercise my option not to shop there.
The space between M-C's personal fantasy life and the reality the rest of us live in is a null set.
Clearly you have a poor grasp on what makes a contract, but then again, from someone who chooses to be known as "iron muffin" ?. The use of the word "null" does take its full meaning in this case. Do I need to say more? probably not...case closed.
Yep, M-C is living in an alternative universe complete with unicorns and cotton candy clouds.

Yes, Ramelle, a land of unicorns maybe, however, usually once you have paid for something, you are entitled to receive what you paid for, even in a land of unicorn and cotton candy clouds. Apparently, you get your kick out of randomly insulting people. Anonymity, the ultimate weapon of cowards. I thought that I could share my views in a respectful environment in regards to what i still believe to be a valid complaint. However, there are other means to my disposal to convey my concerns. Lucky for me, none of them involve your interaction or the interaction of what appears by the tone, to be the manifestation of your multiple personalities...Good luck with that.
p.s.thank you for the link, which I consulted, and it does not apply to my complaint... since the issue happened...yes ! Ramelle ! "Post sale" ( you should read the small print too)
The reasonable person adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists to adapt the world to himself.
Bigel288, the company may offer warranty but it's the way they go about it taking to forcing kids to get their parent credit card out of their wallet and convincing the elderly that their kids warranty is running out and they could help them by paying for it...how is that not unethical? guess you will feel differently when it comes close to home and someone close to you get ripped off...
I just received a call from them. I asked what company this was and was told National Auto. The caller said he was calling from the state of California. I told them not to call me regarding an 8 year old car and that he was violating the national DO NOT CALL register. I informed him that he's soliciting a service and he should advise his supervisor that if I'm contacted again, I will report National Auto to the Attorney General's Office of Ohio. He asked me, " why I would do that? "
I hung up on him.
They're the worst. They just called and harassed me with a "your warranty is about to expire, pay us $3000 for a 5y warranty, and no you can't call me back after you discuss this with your husband, you need to do this now or our deal expires." Luckily I found this site and learned it was a scam. Thanks guys.
This Company "National Auto Division" called me last Friday. Telling me yes, my auto warranty was about to expire on a car i co-signed for. He told me his name was Donte. Do not hang up the phone. We need $2900.00 for car warranty which is about to expire. At first I gave him a hard time, still explaining. I don't think my sister needs this, I co-signed for her. Well, if you co signed its your car, your are responsible for paying, he proceeded then after i told him I can't afford that, lowered the price down to $500.00. I became very emotional after he started to really harrass me. I told him i needed to talk to my sister before making this transaction. NO you can't talk to her, you need to make this decision now. I want to speak to someone else, said i would speak to my husband, i can't give you this information over the phone i told him. He gave me a few more lines. someone was at my door, told him i needed to go answer it. Donte told me "Don't you go to the door". I set the phone down, came back, he ripped into my some more, telling me. He would lower the price down to $200.00 now, give me your credit card information. I told him i was going to hang up, then he told me, he would call back. It's getting worse. really under pressure with this dude, Told me that he could make me pay the whole $2900.00 if i didn't give him the number. That's when i caved in. Gave the information over the phone, he put me on hold, someone else c ame on the line then, (George). He saId that he had been monitoring my call. I told him "if you heard everything, then you know that I was put under pressure, by this Donte dude. Why did you give him yo9ur credit card number, is what George said. Told him again, if yo9u were monitoring my call you heard why. George then said that "he would take care of everything, this transaction would be reversed, and null and void. After that call, my husband came home and i told him, what happened. At least he didn't yell. What i jerk I was, I called my bank to go over the transaction with me, they gave me necessary information. I cancelled my credit card. These people at this company are so unscrupulous. They are dirty dogs who prey on people. They are rats!. This compnay should be shut down. And now after i read some of these comments, if that's all they can get to work for them are drug addicts, or ex-cons. They hire low lifes...OF all the people they can get!. Afterwards I called my sister, which she lit into me about the whole thing, we both went on the computer together and found this place. She also contacted the company. We will be taking this to the BBB and the attorney general. Companies like this should not exist!
I kept getting early morning calls from a place In Guadalupe, Ca...since I didn't recognize the number I wouldn't answer it. I finally decided to answer it today in order to confirm that it was from company trying to sell me something I know I didn't want or need to purchase and to put me on their Do not call list. The initial Rep was fairly courteous but was talking way too much and repeating that my current car warranty was gonna run out soon so I need to get their extended coverage now. The price was $3, 070 for 6 year, 100, 000 mile w/$100 deductible. I told him No Way was I giving my credit info over the phone to a company I'd never heard of before. Then he said he would check and see if he could extend the offer for a little longer. Then he put his so-called manager on the phone and the entire tone of the conversation changed. The guy was really pushy and even rude. When I stated asking several questions like their website and call back number the guy told me to Stop interrupting him so he could finish talking...then i said oh
really? And he said "Yeah...really!" So, I then said ...OK and promptly hung up and blocked their number on my phone. Although these type of places usually call from more than one number...I will continue to block their rude butts forever! Don't deal with these jerks, ...Always remember ...if it looks like, walks like and sounds like a duck...IT'S DUCK! SO "DUCK" out of doing business with these scammers!
