I ordered a carpet that was supposed to have been installed last Friday. When the installers came (two of which did not speak English), they did not have enough carpet to complete the job. Rather than have them start and not be able to finish, and after having lost a day's pay waiting for them, I cancelled the order and told them to leave. National Floors then called me four times and finally I told them if they could come on Monday (today), I would have them do the job. Well, they never showed, claiming they were stuck in traffic. I guess since they do not speak English they don't know about alternate routes! The thing that upset me most is that I took the afternoon out of work, again losing pay, for nothing! They did not even have the decency to call me and let me know there were not coming! And now, to top it off, they said they will not refund my deposit! PLEASE, if you don't want to get screwed, DON'T call National Floors Direct!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
This company is horrible. Do NOT do business with them. I have been calling them for months for service on a NEW carpet and they will not call be back.

Awful, awful company. Stay away. I did business with them and when the product failed after 2 months they would not come out to fix. I made three appointments and they never showed up.

I had a Berber carpet installed about a year ago. It is of the poorest quality imaginable. It has started to shed and is wearing and matted down. I just threw thousands of dollars away. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY!
Absolutely back that up. No customer service, unpersonable sales guy, and they screwed up installation appointment. Guy was going to show up at 9pm to START after they require you to be home all day waiting for them. Do not use them ever!
I had carpet installed and the installation on my stairs was terrible. you could see the seams around the spindals. They even when they ripped up the old carpet i could feel lumps under the new one. there are threads hanging out everywhere. they sent me complaint forms and I mailed them to new york with pictures. they never responded. when I called they always put me on hold so long i just hung up. when i called pretending to buy someone would answer immediately. then put on hold again, 20-30 minutes, i hung up. finally after 1 1/2 hours I spoke to someone who said my warranty was up. I said ya you never return calls and keep me on hold till i hang up. when i said look at pictures the supervisor said she didnt have them. she said, oh you sent them to new york thats too bad. long short they just are screwing me. I have dealt with national floors direct I started with telling them to hold a check which they didn’t and it bounced I had to pay those fees then I figure well I’m guys will get the carpet how bad couldn’t it be well I’ll tell you how bad it could be they told me that my carpet would be ready to be measured within a week or two it was longer than that finally they come in and measure but I have made the phone call prior and they said my binder and carpet would be ready and be installed early when they showed up the carpet still needed to be cut and measured and of course it wasn’t found because they didn’t have the machine it didn’t work they didn’t know when it would . I got a call saying they’re going to come on Monday and waited all day 10 minutes before 4 o’clock I called and they weren’t even going to tell me that they weren’t coming then she says well will try to come tomorrow I said no I can’t do this I have doctors appointments I have a life I can’t keep doing this around your schedule . She told me I shouldn’t be getting so upset while they have both of my checks because when they come to measure they take both cashiers checks to the full amount and now you’re at the mercy of whatever the hell they want to do. On my contract it clearly says they will have the rugs bound and delivered and then they will be installed within 14 days of measurement that would be the 19th . Made an appointment for the 15th and told them if I don’t get the carpets bound and installed before the 19th I will be asking for a full return and refund because the contract is now Null and void by law. If I have to get a lawyer I will and then I will make sure that they pay those fees also because they broke the contract and they really didn’t care. So let’s see if they’re gonna be able to do what they’re supposed to do at the hands of their own contract or not because they have been jerking me around for the date and telling me machines are broken or they can’t finish at the last house there I or 1 million other stories. And the installers don’t speak English well. This is a horrible horrible company to work with I have dealt with so many other companies putting this house together and I have never in all my life seen the horrible way you were treated by these people they’re nice until they have your money and then forget it . Don’t ever have them bound the carpet in your house the stories about them hurting them self cutting themselves bleeding all over you’re responsible for damages they make according to their contract. So make sure the binding gets done out of your house your house is not a warehouse you’re liable for what they do there . They don’t take any responsibility for the way they talk to people the way they handle their product or their service and the rug that came in for me to verify was nowhere near as thick as the one I picked out top of the line. Nowhere does it say Mohawk and nowhere did they ever give me any information about the product warranty and guarantees they just verbalize it but thank God they were on camera in my house.
Oh yeah in addition to what I wrote up on top I checked the SKU number that came in with the contract National home direct And they’re scared number does not match mohawk SKU number
Nor is it a number that mohawk even carries. They made up a Textra name on the product extra plush and mohawk doesn’t have a carpet with that name mohawk says there are credentials and things printed on the back of the carpet every 6 feet if it does not have their credentials showing it is a pure mohawk made in the USA then refuse it and we will get in the middle of this lawsuit with them they cannot sell our product falsely and do bait and switch on customers with our name involved. This is no little matter it’s about to blow up in their faces
If you use this company you will regret it there’s no doubt about it they will ask for a cashiers check because this way you can’t turn around and say you know what I want my money back now that I know you’re capable of what looks like a bait and switch. Consumer protection and Better Business Burough are well aware of this company acts check them out before you called them and asked to come visit you in your home. You can order top-of-the-line like I did and you will get a medium grade no matter what this is what installers have told us and sales people also when you pull up the SKU on the product and try to talk to Mohawk about it they say that school number is not theirs and the name of the product half of that name is theirs and the other half is a made-up name. You are not buying what you think you’re buying I thought I bought a lifetime warranty carpet by Mohawk and the warranty that I paid for the carpet would be installed within two weeks. They didn’t leave you a sample but that’s OK with mohawks help I was able to obtain enough information to know whether or not it’s going to be a true mohawk when it gets here if not I am refusing it and leaving it to the courts they going to have a lot to answer for there will be photos and security cameras on every area of their work and their truck. I’m not fooling around if you people don’t Jay Customer Service seriously and you just want to take their money you just met the wrong damn customer
