My wife passed away from cancer in May. I submitted a death certificate to the credit union. I'm not on her account or an executor. They deposited a recent stimulus payment of $600, maybe $1200 into her account. I talked to *** on 1/8. She said she'd get back to me, but it's been a week.
I asked the credit union to stop payment on a check and was told by the employee, ***, that it was done on September 16

I called her and she said she told me what was told to her, and that information was now incorrect. I should not be out of $3200.00 due to her error. Please contact the institution and advise of their response.

Now trying to cancel it has turned into a nightmare. Nobody will call back, the banker who sold it lied and said she could not get the refinance without it. I called the banker, but she is unavailable for the last 11 calls. When she does pick up, she says she will call right back, but she never does.

On November 10th, around 4:00 p.m., I tried to get info from Cory, a member engagement specialist. He was rude, bossy, and didn't listen, while I struggled to communicate politely. After waiting for a while, I finally got a chance to talk to a customer service rep, but it was a frustrating experience. Sadly, I didn't get the information I had been waiting for.

I got 2 accounts with this credit union. One I got since the 80s and my name is first on the account and the second one is from the 90s and my husband's name is the first one on the account. I used to always get statements for both accounts on the same day. Starting in November I stopped getting statements on one of the accounts. I called and they told me I am set up for online statements. I asked how that happened as I don't got internet and no one could provide me an answer. They told me they would set it back to mail statements. I still ain't received any. I called many times and nothing has been resolved.

My husband and I had a home equity account with Neighbors starting in January when we refinanced our mortgage. We used it and made payments on time over the years. But guess what? On Monday, September 12, 2022, I accidentally found out that someone at Neighbors wiped out our credit limit on August 15, 2022. Can you believe it? They saw my husband's obituary in the paper on Sunday, August 14 and messed with the account. Can you believe they didn't even bother to call, send a letter, or email me? Nothing! That money was supposed to go towards a new deck and screened-in porch for our house. And now they're telling me I have to apply for the account all over again, by myself. Seriously? Both our names and signatures are on all the paperwork we filed with Neighbors. Can't they see that?

On Nov. 4th 2020, I paid my dad's mortgage payment from my bank account using my debit card at Neighbors Credit Union. Unfortunately, I made a mistake and entered the wrong account number for the payment. As a result, the mortgage company reversed the payment because of the incorrect account number. I tried to get Neighbors Credit Union involved to stop the payment after the mortgage company suggested it. However, the bank informed me a week later that the stop payment request was not made within the 60-day timeframe, and I would need to dispute it with the mortgage company.
I made an attempt to arrange a three-way call between the mortgage company and the bank to provide evidence that the funds were reversed, but the bank refused to speak with them. Neighbors Credit Union has not been helpful in assisting me with retrieving the funds.

I refinanced my car loan at Neighbors Credit Union back in Nov. 2015. They said I had to get GAP Insurance to finance my car with them. I already had GAP and other "extra" insurance from the car dealership where I got my loan (Kia Motors) for things like tires, windows, and key replacement. They said it was fine to keep what I had. Fast forward to June when I totaled my car. Even after insurance paid out, there was still some money left on my loan. Neighbors told me that my GAP coverage got canceled automatically because I refinanced with a new company. The issue is that the refinanced amount already included the cost of GAP insurance ($895 plus interest). So, I asked them if they could take out the cost of the GAP insurance that should've been removed from the refinanced total, along with the interest on that amount, and put it towards my loan.

I had an auto loan with Neighbors Credit Union. At the end of August, I sold my car to Frank Leta Honda. On 8/31 a check was cut to me for the difference in selling price and what I owed on the car. I went online and stopped the auto debit of my car payment. On 9/7 the auto loan was marked as paid off. On 9/24 I received an email saying another payment was debited from my checking. On Monday 9/27 I went to the St Peters branch to get a refund of my money. I was told the there was a hold on the money and they could not refund it for 60 days. That this was what they did when auto loans were paid off, in case of an issue with the pay off funds. The title has already been released to Frank Leta. I told them this is stealing and they agreed and told me to dispute the transaction with my bank. This is literally stealing from me, they had no right to debit my account at US Bank for a payment on a paid off loan. This policy needs changed and my money immediately refunded.

Neighbors Credit Union in St. Louis has really bad collection practices. I think they are biased and purposely give false information to the credit bureaus! Tamar Gleason used to be the account manager, but then *** took over. They both agreed that if I settled the supposed debt, the account would be closed and show as positive on my credit report (they recorded the call for quality assurance). They told me this, and they told my assistant the same thing. So, I paid off the debt. But both *** and Neighbors lied and kept reporting a charge off on my credit every month. Not only that, but the information they reported is wrong on all three credit bureaus (charge off dates, late payments, etc.). I tried to dispute this, I contacted the branch, I even reached out to the CEO who redirected me to another department. They basically said they won't fix their mistakes or help me out.

Total $4592.22 I pulled funds out of my Edward Jones account in the Sum of $6100 to pay for this surgey. The money is in the account. I call to make the payment and it is declind. I called the bank. They advised my that any transactions over $1000 have to have written premission for the transaction to go through. I explained that this is for a medical issue. I spent several days gettin the money in the account. I need this transaction to go through. They said for this one time they will allow it. The transaction went through. After transaction went through. I looked at my account and Available balance was $7905.93 and current amount in account was $31,962.55. I was workin at my office and left to get lunch. I couldn't order lunch because they were sayin the card was declind. I called the bank and now they are sayin I can't use any funds until 24hrs. That is my money. They can not hold access of me gettin my money. Then I told them I will be up there to close my account. They said they are only allowed to give out max $3,000 a day in cash! Now I have to get groceries gas for my vehicle and dinner tonight and have no funds to do so. It isnt a credit card this is a debit card. Equals my hard earned money not the banks.
