This is by far the worst law firm ever. I hired an attorney there to handle my divorce and he had my case for over two years and never accomplished one thing on my behalf, however, he did succeed in billing for fees over 30 thousand dollars. he never got temporary maintenance, spousal support, didn't succeed in getting me divorced, and now I supposedly owe the firm all this money!
This very same lawyer, also did similar to a friend of mine. she got divorced, but lost her business, her house and now owes the firm 50, 000.00.
Another friend lost her house as well. the lawyer is nelson zakia. do not use him. another unsavory aspect of this whole ordeal is that he would yell at me in meetings. i'm sure that wouldn't happen if I were a man.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Did same
I Retained Ellen Hanschu as my divorce attorney. She charged me $8, 000 retainer fee and handed me off to Nelson Zakia. He told me to take a settlement from my to be ex husband of a ridiculously low amount of money considering my husband’s net worth. When I told him I would not he yelled at me. I told him it was unacceptable behavior and he quit, I looked across the table to Ellen Hanschu, whom I hired and she tucked her tail between her legs. The firm then proceeded to bill me another $8, 000. I told them they had already been paid more than their services were worth and I would not pay them. My ex husband (who was paying my attorney fees) agreed and said he would pay another attorney to fight them if they came after me for the money. They did not try to get the money. Remember, the attorney you hire is having lunch, golfing with, and attending parties with the opposing counsel. They probably went to the same law school together and their wives are best friends. They are not on your side. They are only out to take your money.
Did he ever disclose he was retiring when you hired him?
How unethical is that?
Guess who has known for over a year?
READY
YOUR OPPOSOING COUNCIL!
Where does that get you?
Got me over 100, 000 in debt!
Know what else,
A friend of mine hired him just a few months ago and he
Never disclosed his retirement to her,
Yet tossed the file to a college.
She fired the firm!
Ethical?
How could it be
I'm willing to work with anyone in the same position
In the last 2 years.
He has been retiring and no resolution.
Please post on board.
We can set a time and meet out front of Hogan
And WILLIG with the NEWS!
It is unethical to do what they have done
