NetSpend my card and account

My account is locked.i made a online account and went back to log in and they said I answered 1 question wrong!.I bought the card and direct deposited my check in to it and I need my check now!.I have been calling and they tell me my check will be on hold on my card until I speak with customer service tomorrow?! It's my check! It's my card!Im really disappointed.upset!.and I'm just plain mad.i worked hard for my money and took a chance with this card and can get no help!.

NetSpend i'm locked out of my account

This morning I called and it told me I had 480$ on my card but when I just went to use it my card was denied so I tried to call the card and it said it was an invalid card number when it worked this morning so idk so I went to the website and log in and it said my account was locked
So It would be great if y'all could email me to help get this resolved

I put $500 dollars onto a card and it will not let me finish activating and let me use my money, it says my social security is wrong and I can't get thru to customer service.
Please I really need my card activated for full access to my funds

NetSpend closed account for no reason

My account with Net spend had been open for 8 years.I have had so many problems
This time is really crazy .I tried to get gas with my card and it was locked.
Called Customer service and I was informed that my account is closed for fraudulent activity. What in the world is going on? I had just paid overnight service to get a replacement card because they blocked 2 of my cards that was already on my account,
I was passed around from person to person for the last week with nothing resolved.The crazy thing is they closed my account a few days before I am to receive my direct deposit.
I was told I would get the money left in my account by mail.And that they sent me a letter . I haven't received anything,
But someone reading a script and being rude .Telling me to hang up and call back when i have my first day i first open the account 10 years ago.I am in the process of buying a home I need my account history that I can not get to, As well as my money in the account.I will be contacting every BBB, Senator, Governor, News.That will investigate this fraudulent company.

NetSpend direct deposit not accessible!!!

My direct deposit from my employer has been inaccessible for a month! I finally received the permanent card and to my dismay, realized extensive background checks were to delay me from getting to use my hard earned money. I reported the issue and have been working with an eric holder via email to get even just a portion of my funds released. He is slow to respond and over promises things he can't hold up. He says it's a name issue; that my married name is not the same as my maiden name. No [censored]! I provided both my last names and various other information to still not hear a single word since 2 days ago. I have since canceled my direct deposit and will now receive a paper check until I find a good and trustworthy bank.

Don't even get me started on the automated system! You can't even talk to anyone real unless you dial * to report your card lost or stolen. Once talking to a [censored]-for-brains foreigner, who barely understands your problem, you quickly realize you're not speaking to the right person to handle your claim. I asked repeatedly to be transferred to a higher authority and he refused and kept telling me there was no direct deposit on my account. Yes there is because I gave my employer the routing number and account number and this is why I can't access my funds, because they are literally tied up in this [censored]ing netspend account! Clear enough for you? Someone at netspend please contact me because you already have a lawsuit filed and i'm thinking of joining the class action. I want my money!

NetSpend card my card

Hello I'm veronica McCall...I called Netspent 5min when I got aleart .Money taken from my account..they was not open...so I call the re first morning..I was told to call Microsoft Msmib..so I did...I talked to 3 different people..not he then they told me to call Netspent...I called Netspent i said to them ..I was to d to call u..I was told that Microsoft was going to see d my money to netspen t I i 5 to 7 days a week later I called Netspent again 3 mo r ...Times now I'm told what are my traction..first was on July 15..24.99 - July 16 for 24.99-+24.99+24.99&10.65...the Times are3:30-pm...then 9:57-10:37-10:42-10:52...(27.65)(27.65)27.65)(11.65)(27:65) there's are Taxes on them..my acct..[protected]...my mum is [protected].. Help...June 15 20018 that's the day it happened now it july6. 2018...I still haven heard any thing...please help...my grand son is 5...press in buttons...thank

NetSpend prepaid debit

Netspend is the worst place to get any form of prepaid card. They take your money, force you to send in loads of useless identification, which is difficult for most people, especially people with low incomes, and if you choose a setting in the moment because you need to find your paperwork, they refuse to let you change your settings, making the card void and the use worthless. I despise this company and no one should use it, I will post this everywhere I can until they change their way, if they don't, I know my community contribution of this post, not just to facebook, but many other sites and popular communities, will cause a problem for the company. I am very angry about this issue, and how they refused to let me explain it to them. Do NOT get anything from them!

NetSpend remaining balance not being mailed.

On May 10th 2018 I attempted to use my NetSpend prepaid card to purchase fuel. My card was declined at the pump, therefore I checked my NetSpend app on my phone and it showed my account was blocked. I called NetSpend the next morning and spoke with a customer rep. Who informed me my account was closed by The Bancorp Bank for suspicious activity. They went on to say I needed to send in by either email or fax a copy of my drivers license and proof of income to receive the remaining balance.
I was given the email address of [protected]@thebancorp.com and fax number of [protected] to use to send my documents. I was told after sending said documents I would receive my remaining balance of $651.52 in seven to ten business days by check. After sending in the documents via email I waited ten business days and did not receive my so I called NetSpend back and told them the situation.
I was told that my documents were not received therefore the check was not dispatched and I would need to send the documents again. On May 29th 2018 I emailed and faxed copies of the documents this time hoping this would solve the problem. I waited a few days and contacted Netspend customer service again at which time they said the documents had not been received. Surprisingly I was asked if I included the correct reference number associated with the issue. I told the person I was never made aware of such a number.
The rep. gave me the reference number of 2774874 and I needed to include that with the documents when I sent them. Again on May 31st 2018 I emailed and faxed the documents hoping the included reference number would clear things up. Each time before that I sent the documents I included my Name, Address, Card Number, Social Security Number, Date of Birth, and my account number assuming that would be plenty of information to make a reference to my issue.
I then waited another eight business days and called Netspend to inquirer about my check. I was again informed that my documents had not been received and the check was not sent out. I was again told to send my documents in as if the rep was reading from a prompt screen. I explained to the rep that I had sent my documents in multiple times. After several minutes of attempting to get a different response other than send in your documents, he gave me a number to the " Security Team".
I called the number [protected] and spoke to Ben employee ID number 3241548 and explained to him the situation. Ben seemed to be somewhat understanding and empathetic to my frustration. Ben said that he would take care of the issue himself and have my check mailed to me manually. I thanked Ben and discontinued the call with him. Given that it takes seven to ten business days for the check to arrive I figured I would call back in a few days to check and make sure everything was going as Ben said.
I called on June 20th 2018 and spoke with a rep who said that the check had been sent out on June 15th 2018 and I should receive it no later than June 29th 2018. At this point I felt ecstatic thinking finally I would get my money. A few days later on June 25th 2018 I again called to help quell my doubts that I was not going to get my money and was assured that the check was dispatched on the 15th and I will have my money by the 29th.
Well here it is June 30th and I have not received my money. So again I called Netpend and asked them where my check was. The rep I spoke to said that my check was never sent and they were waiting on me to send in my documents. After explaining to the rep. that we were past the stupid documents phase he told me that no where in his notes did it read that a check had been sent on the 15th. I asked to speak to a supervisor at this point. I was transferred to Jarrell ID number 24085, Jarrell told me that he was going to send my case to " The Agent" and that I would receive my money in seven to ten business days. He never brought up the documents during the phone call. Jarrell seemed very confident I would receive my check in the given time and any doubts I had were unneeded.
All I would like to say is what kind of fast food, podunk, [censored] sandwich kind of outfit is this. We live with all this technology and a stupid rip-off, out-sourced, third world company has this many problems sending one measly check to a person living in the central United States. Reprehensible!

I received a text saying there was a problem with my card, tried to call netspend
at [protected] o aanswer, all lines of comunication seem to be down. Please

NetSpend close my account for no reason.

Dear Sir & Madam:
On June 25, 2018, I find out that my Bank Account that I received my Government Check. They have close my account because, I was filing to many dispute and they do not want to lose any money. Netspend Corporation, that is located at 701 Brazos street, suite 1300, Austin, Texas, 78701. I file an complaint to some government service that I will list below.

NetSpend ace elite card

I am beyond pissed. I got my school refund $4000+ cashed at an ace place and they presented me an option to add money to an ace elite netspend card. I put $2000.00 on it. Mid april. I was in the process of divorcing and moving. I had my purse stolen with my iphone which was logged in to the ace elite app and my emails. I reported it promptly. They were supposed to send me a replacement card. I hadn't received it. So now I called after a month and half and I was told that they sent one but it was used by whomever had been ballsy enough to take the stolen license in to the ace store and get a new card in person! I'm beyond upset because they emailed me that when I filed the dispute over this, this person got a verizon phone and other things in my name with the old license that has been stolen, and I filed this dispute 6/11, and was assured by 6/25 I would have new card in my now divorced name which I received last wednesday and activated by friday. They assured me they would fix this and give me the credit for the whole situation by today 6/25/18. I called this morning and they refused to say anything except that they're closing my account! And I cant know why or how to get my money back from them! They've put my daughters and son and I into a terrible situation of homelessness now. And now that I finally have the elite card in my newly divorced legal name, they wont let me have access to my funds?! We are stuck in a tiny car sleeping in a parking lot until they fix this and nobody will give me an amerivam english speaking person that's in authority to speak to me. I have asked and they saod we can't call the dispute department at all. I'm beyond angry! I am filing a lawsuit over this, especially terrible customer service.

NetSpend paypal mastercard

I bought the card 6/23/18 added 35 dollars to get emergency use for and it told me activated over the phone linked it to my Paypal acct went to use it no process called Paypal told me that the clinch was on there end and only the other dept would help in that I would have to call back and I did now that I am Stuck with a double bill due to nets end on refusing me my access to my money then the rep laughs the whole time on the phone tells me she is not going to replace access to my money unless I send in picture I'd social sect copy lease to my home if not I will only be allowed to spend my money in the store and says its cause I put in a due different name which is a total lie cause its funny how brinks netspend sent me a card with the name she said on it I never order or asked for so it seems to me deceptive trade practice is what this I still don't have my money on top of I have very many time used this company even to get my tax refund back and this is the 2nd time this company has ripped me off filed FTC already and also never got a response til this day on the law suit settlement

I think we should all get together... And file a class action suit against them. This is worse than any financial institution I have ever read about. 10 days then they close my account because I submitted all my documents and showed my divorce and name change ..but they want to close the account instead of paying me?!?!

NetSpend account locked

I opened my second account online with NetSpend on 6/8/2018. The account was opened and I received an email stating that a debit card was shipped. I never received my card and when I attempted to login I received a message that displayed my account was locked. I called to rectify the situation and was told to send documentation to confirm my Identity. I sent my ID, birth certificate, SS card, marriage certificate, and proof of address. After going back and forth sending the same information, I continuously received the same email message four different times:

Dear Cardholder,

Thank you for contacting Netspend Customer Service!

I understand that you have concern on your account.

For security reasons, we are unable to resolve your concern through email. Please speak with a Customer Service Agent for further assistance. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thank you for choosing Netspend. Have a great day!

This is a very sad situation. I already have an active account with my personal Information in the system. I have been a loyal customer since I opened my first account. I hope to make some type of progress tomorrow :(

NetSpend dispute process

I was double charged for and 36$ order of pizza. I notified netspend and they opened a dispute. First they told me that I would get temporary credit the next business day. They it went to 7 business days. Now they are saying 2-3 months just to give me back the money I was double charged for. I've done everything they asked me to do. Sent in a written statement along with the receipt and the phone calls back and forth with the merchant. They keep giving me the run around.

NetSpend netspend card

My taxes was load on my card some one spend it with online transfers n Lyft rides. I provided to them how I couldn't be in 2 places at 1 time the representative agreed but the dispute not only denie it but closed my account send me a check for the remaining balance but the check was not even valid. How do I sue them this is a tragedy it left me n my kids homeless n my kids ended up in dfacs

NetSpend money transfer fraud

I logged into my account today and noticed my paycheck total over 600.00$ IS now missing it says there was a money transfer from myself to myself? I filed a dispute with netspend but I can't wait 10 days I need provisional credit asap! Or I am going to be evicted no one seems to give a s**t! Please someone help me and speed up this process and find out where my money went to?

NetSpend im disputing a transaction that have on june 2, 2018

I tried to make a purchase and card got decline. I know i had money in my account from my last ATM receeipt. I call netspend to check my balance and fought out my card was blocked. i fought this on june 4, 2018. this is the second time my acoount got block in like a 2 months span. it was a purchase on line. I would like this tobe resolve soon i need my money. thank you

I made a dispute on my account some one got on my account and transferred money of a total over 600.00$ the records says money was transferred from myself to myself? I am being evicted now cause my paycheck was stolen! I need provisional credit asap! This all happened today June 8th 2018. 10 days to investigate is unacceptable! Netspend is FDIC correct? NetSpend dispute for fraudulent claims - bogus investigation

This company is horrible. I have been a loyal premium customer for years with no issues. Then my debit card was 'skimmed' which resulted in $1,400.00 of fraudulent charges. Submitted walmart statement finding breaching device, police report and they closed the case with no errors. They will not keep my money - I am speaking w an attorney tuesday-this company has done this to customers way to long!

I had NetSpend in November of 2022 to December of 2022 they stole money from me and now I have to dispute and claim numbers for six claims they will not give me my money back and I need someone's help I'm on Social Security I'm a senior citizen and I deserve to get this money back some way somehow this is fraud please help

On 4-27-21 I purchased 2400 worth of items for my upcoming business on 5-1-21 I called the merchant via number on the website to update a few things on my order I then realized the number was non working I immediately panic and email the website on 5-1-21 to cancel my order the merchant stated he would refund my money for a lesser amount because the order was completed unsure how when the order was placed less than 24 hours and there site states u will get refunded full balance if cancel in 24 hours after several attempt the merchant stop responding and never refunded once I begin to dispute the transaction 60 days later on 6-2-21 I received one item valuing at 99.00 netspend ask for a 90 day investigation which was completed on 8-12-21 in there investigation they decided not to give my money back and provided evidence of a tracking number which I never received throughout this whole ordeal so I thought maybe this was my mistake or local post office maybe they didn't deliver all items I then went to my local post office and got a print out of the tracking number showing what items were attached to this tracking number it was one item weight of 4.32 ounces I was expecting 17 adult character coustomes received one and out of over 2000 netspend dispute team is trash unprofessional and clearly don't know how to investigate property my local post office seems to think the scammer attached one item to the tracking number printed out a fake invoice and attached more items so for them to be an investigation teams how do u let someone provide u with fake document I will not stop till I get my money back I have filed with the better business bureau fairshake and working towards an attorney to file on netspend I gave removed all my money from the hem and advice anyone to stay clear from netspend

I see that "annulled" statement a lot. Funny, it seems that what little pathetic [censored] attempts you've made to "resolve" these complaints against you is to post some [censored] about how they never contacted you back. Is that possibly because you keep giving them the same "There's nothing we can do" [censored]-eating answer? You've resolved 36% of the complaints against you, and I'd be willing to bet more than half of that horrendously low number is you being money grabbing scammers and saying "We tried (not really) to help but they didn't answer (actually they did, but we're pieces of [censored] who weren't gonna help anyways"

Net Spend / unauthorized transaction dispute

On June 9th I received a text notification that a purchased had been made on my Purpose Card account ending in 3619. I immediately called the 1.866.226.1551 number and spoke with a male representative. He stated he would close this card and make a claim for me that my card had been stolen. I called back on 6/12 and spoke with a female that stated the claim was never made but she would do it at that time. She stated I could call back around the 25th to check status. I called back today and spoke with a male representative which his customer services needs work. To be honest I didn’t have a good experience with any of the reps. the company that stole my money was called Herbal town amount $23.81 which made me go in the negative. On 5262018 Saturday morning at 8:10 I was charge $53.19 from an Ins. Co. named Lumico Life Ins Co 85 wit my Ace Elite card being in 2257, if I not know who threefold r, r where did they get my info, so on 5262018 i was on the phone wit one of Ace representative about my situation at 3:24 pm, then on 5272018 i was still being charge for this same bill in the amount of $-92.77 for a overdrawn amount, they were still charging me for that-$92.77 on a card that was reported stolen nd was told that's i would received my new card on the 8292018 by Fed X r regular mail because I needed the card early because of my check i received, then today at 11:00 am i was told I had to dispute this distraction before anything is resolved, so my claim#422448; nd my ref. #[protected] hope I'm be give n I the f2f things thank for it help. NetSpend net spend debit card.

I purchased a net spend debit card and loaded $200 onto it. Net spend told me that there was an "indescrepancy in my information" but couldn't tell me what it was, and that in order to validate the card for online purchases I'd have to send a copy of my social security card IN THE MAIL! What company IN THEIR RIGHT MIND would ask someone to do that?! When I asked if I could get the cash back from the card, she (Marlet) said Netspend could send me a check. What good is that to me without a checking account?! If I try to cash it, a check cashing place will take at least 10 percent! Now the best they could do was turn it into a gift card which limits me to spending the money from the card in a physical store - which I DON'T NEED! Also, Marlet switched it to a gift card before I even asked her to, making it so that I can't activate it as anything else even if I wanted to. This business is terrible. Probably because like every OTHER bad business, they outsource their customer service branch to a bunch of people who don't care a snit for the business they represent.

ok so i travel to florida to help my mom who is sick i leave my brinks netspend card with my husband becuase my income is directly deposited and bills need to be paid while down here i purchased a netspend prepaid card from dollar general on the advice of netspend to tranfer money from one account to the other quickly and easlily and it was but just as easily as it did register the new card i was locked out i have sent id, mail, school records, insurance fishing licence, medical bill light bill everything but 401k and was told 4-6 hours it has now been 24 and they are denying my proof of address how can you say my drivers licence approved social security apporved but mail not like do you you really think im stealling from myself with same address info everything im too far away from home to be dealing with this and with no money i have been a loyal brinks customer for 7 years im livid right now and customer service keeps hanging up on me instead of tranfering me to supervisor

NetSpend prepaid card

Netspend is a complete scam! I purchased a card and deposited my money over a year ago, and have not yet been able to activate my card or access my money. They put a hold on my card and referred me to the fraud department, and every attempt to appease the overseas idiots has been unsuccessful. They don't want to talk to you, or even listen to you, and definitely don't want to work with you to resolve any issues. Netspend has effectively stolen my money, and I don't know if i'll ever get my $500 back. The security protocols seem to be intended to prevent people from using the card, undoubtedly so they can steal all your money in "fees" over time. They are basically crooks and thieves engaged in racketeering, and my only hope is some eager attorney sees the potential opportunity of initiating a class action lawsuit against this criminal enterprise. It may be the only way I ever see a dime of the hard earned cash I turned over to these bloodsuckers. Stay away from netspend!
