Hello I'm veronica McCall...I called Netspent 5min when I got aleart .Money taken from my account..they was not open...so I call the re first morning..I was told to call Microsoft Msmib..so I did...I talked to 3 different people..not he then they told me to call Netspent...I called Netspent i said to them ..I was to d to call u..I was told that Microsoft was going to see d my money to netspen t I i 5 to 7 days a week later I called Netspent again 3 mo r ...Times now I'm told what are my traction..first was on July 15..24.99 - July 16 for 24.99-+24.99+24.99&10.65...the Times are3:30-pm...then 9:57-10:37-10:42-10:52...(27.65)(27.65)27.65)(11.65)(27:65) there's are Taxes on them..my acct..[protected]...my mum is [protected].. Help...June 15 20018 that's the day it happened now it july6. 2018...I still haven heard any thing...please help...my grand son is 5...press in buttons...thank

Netspend is the worst place to get any form of prepaid card. They take your money, force you to send in loads of useless identification, which is difficult for most people, especially people with low incomes, and if you choose a setting in the moment because you need to find your paperwork, they refuse to let you change your settings, making the card void and the use worthless. I despise this company and no one should use it, I will post this everywhere I can until they change their way, if they don't, I know my community contribution of this post, not just to facebook, but many other sites and popular communities, will cause a problem for the company. I am very angry about this issue, and how they refused to let me explain it to them. Do NOT get anything from them!

On May 10th 2018 I attempted to use my NetSpend prepaid card to purchase fuel. My card was declined at the pump, therefore I checked my NetSpend app on my phone and it showed my account was blocked. I called NetSpend the next morning and spoke with a customer rep. Who informed me my account was closed by The Bancorp Bank for suspicious activity. They went on to say I needed to send in by either email or fax a copy of my drivers license and proof of income to receive the remaining balance.
I was given the email address of [protected]@thebancorp.com and fax number of [protected] to use to send my documents. I was told after sending said documents I would receive my remaining balance of $651.52 in seven to ten business days by check. After sending in the documents via email I waited ten business days and did not receive my so I called NetSpend back and told them the situation.
I was told that my documents were not received therefore the check was not dispatched and I would need to send the documents again. On May 29th 2018 I emailed and faxed copies of the documents this time hoping this would solve the problem. I waited a few days and contacted Netspend customer service again at which time they said the documents had not been received. Surprisingly I was asked if I included the correct reference number associated with the issue. I told the person I was never made aware of such a number.
The rep. gave me the reference number of 2774874 and I needed to include that with the documents when I sent them. Again on May 31st 2018 I emailed and faxed the documents hoping the included reference number would clear things up. Each time before that I sent the documents I included my Name, Address, Card Number, Social Security Number, Date of Birth, and my account number assuming that would be plenty of information to make a reference to my issue.
I then waited another eight business days and called Netspend to inquirer about my check. I was again informed that my documents had not been received and the check was not sent out. I was again told to send my documents in as if the rep was reading from a prompt screen. I explained to the rep that I had sent my documents in multiple times. After several minutes of attempting to get a different response other than send in your documents, he gave me a number to the " Security Team".
I called the number [protected] and spoke to Ben employee ID number 3241548 and explained to him the situation. Ben seemed to be somewhat understanding and empathetic to my frustration. Ben said that he would take care of the issue himself and have my check mailed to me manually. I thanked Ben and discontinued the call with him. Given that it takes seven to ten business days for the check to arrive I figured I would call back in a few days to check and make sure everything was going as Ben said.
I called on June 20th 2018 and spoke with a rep who said that the check had been sent out on June 15th 2018 and I should receive it no later than June 29th 2018. At this point I felt ecstatic thinking finally I would get my money. A few days later on June 25th 2018 I again called to help quell my doubts that I was not going to get my money and was assured that the check was dispatched on the 15th and I will have my money by the 29th.
Well here it is June 30th and I have not received my money. So again I called Netpend and asked them where my check was. The rep I spoke to said that my check was never sent and they were waiting on me to send in my documents. After explaining to the rep. that we were past the stupid documents phase he told me that no where in his notes did it read that a check had been sent on the 15th. I asked to speak to a supervisor at this point. I was transferred to Jarrell ID number 24085, Jarrell told me that he was going to send my case to " The Agent" and that I would receive my money in seven to ten business days. He never brought up the documents during the phone call. Jarrell seemed very confident I would receive my check in the given time and any doubts I had were unneeded.
All I would like to say is what kind of fast food, podunk, [censored] sandwich kind of outfit is this. We live with all this technology and a stupid rip-off, out-sourced, third world company has this many problems sending one measly check to a person living in the central United States. Reprehensible!

I am beyond pissed. I got my school refund $4000+ cashed at an ace place and they presented me an option to add money to an ace elite netspend card. I put $2000.00 on it. Mid april. I was in the process of divorcing and moving. I had my purse stolen with my iphone which was logged in to the ace elite app and my emails. I reported it promptly. They were supposed to send me a replacement card. I hadn't received it. So now I called after a month and half and I was told that they sent one but it was used by whomever had been ballsy enough to take the stolen license in to the ace store and get a new card in person! I'm beyond upset because they emailed me that when I filed the dispute over this, this person got a verizon phone and other things in my name with the old license that has been stolen, and I filed this dispute 6/11, and was assured by 6/25 I would have new card in my now divorced name which I received last wednesday and activated by friday. They assured me they would fix this and give me the credit for the whole situation by today 6/25/18. I called this morning and they refused to say anything except that they're closing my account! And I cant know why or how to get my money back from them! They've put my daughters and son and I into a terrible situation of homelessness now. And now that I finally have the elite card in my newly divorced legal name, they wont let me have access to my funds?! We are stuck in a tiny car sleeping in a parking lot until they fix this and nobody will give me an amerivam english speaking person that's in authority to speak to me. I have asked and they saod we can't call the dispute department at all. I'm beyond angry! I am filing a lawsuit over this, especially terrible customer service.

I opened my second account online with NetSpend on 6/8/2018. The account was opened and I received an email stating that a debit card was shipped. I never received my card and when I attempted to login I received a message that displayed my account was locked. I called to rectify the situation and was told to send documentation to confirm my Identity. I sent my ID, birth certificate, SS card, marriage certificate, and proof of address. After going back and forth sending the same information, I continuously received the same email message four different times:

dispute process
I was double charged for and 36$ order of pizza. I notified netspend and they opened a dispute. First they told me that I would get temporary credit the next business day. They it went to 7 business days. Now they are saying 2-3 months just to give me back the money I was double charged for. I've done everything they asked me to do. Sent in a written statement along with the receipt and the phone calls back and forth with the merchant. They keep giving me the run around.

My taxes was load on my card some one spend it with online transfers n Lyft rides. I provided to them how I couldn't be in 2 places at 1 time the representative agreed but the dispute not only denie it but closed my account send me a check for the remaining balance but the check was not even valid. dispute for fraudulent claims - bogus investigation
This company is horrible. I have been a loyal premium customer for years with no issues. Then my debit card was 'skimmed' which resulted in $1,400.00 of fraudulent charges. Submitted walmart statement finding breaching device, police report and they closed the case with no errors. They will not keep my money - I am speaking w an attorney tuesday-this company has done this to customers way to long!!

I purchased a net spend debit card and loaded $200 onto it. Net spend told me that there was an "indescrepancy in my information" but couldn't tell me what it was, and that in order to validate the card for online purchases I'd have to send a copy of my social security card IN THE MAIL! What company IN THEIR RIGHT MIND would ask someone to do that?! When I asked if I could get the cash back from the card, she (Marlet) said Netspend could send me a check. What good is that to me without a checking account?! If I try to cash it, a check cashing place will take at least 10 percent! Now the best they could do was turn it into a gift card which limits me to spending the money from the card in a physical store - which I DON'T NEED! Also, Marlet switched it to a gift card before I even asked her to, making it so that I can't activate it as anything else even if I wanted to. This business is terrible. Probably because like every OTHER bad business, they outsource their customer service branch to a bunch of people who don't care a snit for the business they represent.

ok so i travel to florida to help my mom who is sick i leave my brinks netspend card with my husband becuase my income is directly deposited and bills need to be paid while down here i purchased a netspend prepaid card from dollar general on the advice of netspend to tranfer money from one account to the other quickly and easlily and it was but just as easily as it did register the new card i was locked out i have sent id, mail, school records, insurance fishing licence, medical bill light bill everything but 401k and was told 4-6 hours it has now been 24 and they are denying my proof of address how can you say my drivers licence approved social security apporved but mail not like do you you really think im stealling from myself with same address info everything im too far away from home to be dealing with this and with no money i have been a loyal brinks customer for 7 years im livid right now and customer service keeps hanging up on me instead of tranfering me to supervisor

Netspend is a complete scam! I purchased a card and deposited my money over a year ago, and have not yet been able to activate my card or access my money. They put a hold on my card and referred me to the fraud department, and every attempt to appease the overseas idiots has been unsuccessful. They don't want to talk to you, or even listen to you, and definitely don't want to work with you to resolve any issues. Netspend has effectively stolen my money, and I don't know if i'll ever get my $500 back. The security protocols seem to be intended to prevent people from using the card, undoubtedly so they can steal all your money in "fees" over time. They are basically crooks and thieves engaged in racketeering, and my only hope is some eager attorney sees the potential opportunity of initiating a class action lawsuit against this criminal enterprise. It may be the only way I ever see a dime of the hard earned cash I turned over to these bloodsuckers. Stay away from netspend!

Yesterday I received my Netspend Business card. I called to activate the card as my account had been locked. Apparently, Netspend Business and vpn services are not compatible. Because I had used vpn while logging into my Netspend account, my account was locked. It is almost a certainty that Netspend as company uses vpn for security purposes. Is it not fair to say that the customer may want the same benefits? I was willing to try work with that limitation as I like the idea of a prepaid business card. Unfortunately, humans are often creatures of habit. I attempted to sign in while connected to vpn, and I my account was again locked.
I called this morning to have my account unlocked. The service agent referred me to the risk department. After being on hold for 25 minutes, I decided the situation was not acceptable. I disconnected the call then called back to have my account closed. The first agent I spoke to canceled the card. How could the service agent cancel my card if my account was locked? After all, did I not need to be vetted by the risk department? The agent expressed no empathy or concern for Netspend Businesses new customer. I did not believe my card had been canceled; because I did not recall the agent asking any vetting questions. I assumed she did not even access the account. I called back several times. I would ask the agent to cancel my account. Except for a few, all agents agreed to cancel the account without vetting the call through risk management. What a horrible experience!

I decided to withdraw my money from a suntrust atm and ended up with $243.50 subtracted from my account. Yeah, that's whats suppose to happen right! The atm did not give me any money, at all! It was 530-600pm and the bank was closed. I contacted the suntrust bank that next morning and spoke with manager (savannah, ga location) and was told there was nothing they could do because I didn't have a account with them. Thats when I filed a dispute on the withdraw of $243.50. The date was march 27th 2018 and its now april 12, 2018 and I still haven't received my money that was "stolen" from me. Netspend is saying they wont have a update or any info until april 25th. Wtf bruh? What is my rent or groceries going to be given to me too? No?! I didn't think so... See you'd think that having a receipt from the bank stating "contact bank", would be plenty evidence enough. Plus, there are cameras on a atm, so they can pull those an see the entire transaction. Well about a week ago I contacted netspend to see if there was anything at all I could do to help speed up the process. The lady says no and you wont know anything on this issue until they contact you around april 25th. So I got a little frantic and [censor]y with lady an clearly spoke my mind on the situation. Thats when the netspend customer service rep has the nerve to "there is no guarantee you will get that money back and you wont know anything until the 25th... Wow thats a lot of money to just have taken from you at the press of a button. Now i'm stuck with no money and a terrible excuse for a bank (metabank) which is netspends bank. Never again will I use netspend or suntrust..

Have been using Netspend card for my direct deposit at work since December 2016. I had no issues at all, payroll always there before the actual check date. So when I had to stop working due to fighting pancreatic cancer and signed up to have my disability payment sent to the Netspend card I expected it go well. The first months were okay but this month I find out my deposit is pending and my account is locked. I call the number on my card as I am advised to do, after putting in all the requested information I get a recording to call back later. This is simply unacceptable.

Netspend has been withholding to direct deposits of mine from Social Security from December 2017 and January 2018 they they say they can't find the deposits then they say they found them but they wanted my ID and then I sent them the ID and they said that wasn't good enough that they would send the money back to Social Security this is then they said they sent it on the 26th of February back to Social Security this is the first of April and it's still not there and they still only say they only have one of those direct deposits they won't find January's and I've given them the tracking numbers I am super frustrated everytime I talk to them I end up livid and getting absolutely nowhere but to run around sitting on hold and then they hang up on me I am furious with NetSpend I've had accounts there for over 8 years and then to do this to me is ridiculous I closed the account and so now that they give me an even harder time about it they will not give me my money they keep saying that they said they sent the money and they didn't Social Security said I have to deal with the bank it's not their problem was the bank I chose and it's it's just a mess they owe me $990 and they're saying they don't give a c***.
