Purchased a NordicTrack S27I Stationary Bike from the Nordictrack website. The bike advertised is model #: NTEX02722.2, the bike version received was model #:NTEX02722.1 Contacted Nordictrac Customer Support to request exchange for the bike version (and was told that NTEX02722.2) and was informed that there would be a charge of $500.00, $250.00 shipping and $250.00 restocking fee). Filled complaint with the BBB and with Apple Card (Goldman Sachs). The BBB was useless and Goldman Sachs put payment on hold to investigate (supposedly) only to place the charges back on my credit card, claiming that I had agreed to the terms of purchase from Nordictrack.
In good-faith, I purchased the advertised bike and was shipped an older version instead. The amount in dispute is $2600.00.
Nordictrack Customer Service offered compensation of $100.00 if I kept the bike. The bike was picked up by Nordictrack leaving me to pay for a bike that I don't even have. Appears to be a bait-and-switch scheme, leaving me with no option but to pay an additional charge for their shipping error.
Claimed loss: Monitory amount of $2600.00
