My wife and l got a few windows replaced lately through Nordik
My wife and l got a few windows replaced lately through Nordik. Prior to signing the deal with Nordik rep sales department. we also expressed our concerns to the sales rep about our patio door bottom draft seal coming off under the patio door allowing air to flow. The draft seal is worned out and is coming off the bottom of the patio door. We showed the sales rep the invoice and bill of the patio door which is under warranty by Nordik. to which my wife can testifies that we were told that it is under warranty and it would be looked at by Maintenenance, and replace no problem at all. Maintenance came in and secured and adjusted the door lock without problem because its under Warranty and he noticed and we showed him the damage seal coming off the door. He mentioned that Service department would get in touch with me. Later that week we find out through Service that they wont replace it and they are closing our file. Not once they offered to replace that seal which is the problem or the least they could done is to replace the leaking cold air seal and charge me . Nope , The Window Tech Installer also seen and commented on the seal to say it is not a big deal and should get replaced. We got new windows and a bad patio door leaking out. Thank you

After 7 years, 11 windows failed and got moldy, company unresponsive
I had 11 windows fail and become all moldy after only 7 years. The company ignores me now and is forcing me to sue them in court. They replaced 2 that failed already a few years back and I thought they would have fixed the 9 that failed this spring, but they won't put anything in an email saying they will replace them. The company rep named Jennifer deleted my bill of sale when I sent it to her twice. I had to send it a 3rd time and she didn't even acknowledge that she received it. I had this company put in two new doors for me as well and both doors had problems that they blamed on me for picking Vinyl doors that the sales rep recommended. My family spent $50,000 to do our whole house then we sold that house and we got our new house done by them as well for around $30,000; it was a smaller house. This company has no respect for loyal customers and will not honor their warranty. My wife even phoned them a few times saying they are waiting for the manufacturer to make the windows. If that was true they would surely email me and confirm this, it's been 3 months now and they won't respond to me anymore.

We put our order in with Nordik Windows and Doors for a new front door last November to be told install would be May. Understandable as I am well aware of supply chain issues. Come May we were told September was the new install date. But if we paid for a more expensive door, we can get it installed by august which we did as we wanted this done. We ended up getting a call in June that the door was ready to be installed. On install date, we noticed a manufacturer issue where they measured and cut wrong so the side light window is crooked. We're told someone would come back the next day to fix it... it's been 2 months. And because the original installers thought it would be fixed immediately, they didn't seal the outside of the doors and yellow jackets decided to make a nest inside. Husband ends up getting stung in the face, and we had to stop using our front door. Followed up almost every other day and we kept getting the "we're working on it" or "the manufacturer isn't getting back to us". Frankly, that's not my problem. Oh, and to top it off, they cashed my Cheque for payment on a door that's NOT done. Now, it's in the "CEO's hands" and we're waiting to hear. Never using this company again
Very pleased with the work done by Mr Tommy A. regarding the installation of our back door. Very professional.
It was an absolute pleasure meeting and speaking with Katiely. I really appreciate her transparency. The information she provided to me was extremely relevant and helpful to guide me to make the pertinent decision as required. She is easy to talk to and was simple the best of all the other agents.
Best Service ever. They are with you every step of the way. Very professional. We placed our order early June and was told the doors would not arrive till December. Our door did not close properly so we were very worried about safety and losing heat in the winter. Our salesman Chuck informed the manufacturer about our situation but no guarantees. He continued to call the mfg to push the order through and we received our patio doors mid August and installed. The techs were professional and the workmanship was excellent. Quality of doors are top notch. ***. Thank you to the Nordik team and especially our salesperson Chuck.
We replaced our home's windows and door before Nordik's acquisition
We replaced all of the windows and front door of our home several years ago with a different company's products before Nordik took ownership. There have been issues from the outset. While we've managed to address the window concerns after some effort, the front door problems persist. The interior finish is chipping and flaking. Our repeated requests for repairs have been disregarded, and promises of callbacks from the service department are unfulfilled. We've struggled to get any response over time. We've convinced the company to inspect the door thrice, but the touch-up repairs have been unsuccessful. We're always told we'll be contacted for next steps but end up having to initiate follow-ups. Nordik's latest reply was that they are awaiting a manufacturer inspection date and suggested we contact the manufacturer directly, though no contact information was provided. The service and communication from the initial company and Nordik have been profoundly unsatisfactory.

The experience from the date of contract is your nightmare begins , the salesman not confirm the installation date, unneeded to keep calling for the date for installation. The installer came to break your drywall and installed 2" trims can't covered your existing trim marks , he did half of the job and forced you to pay on that night, otherwise he can't leave your house as per their rules . When you call to complaint must be waiting for an hour . I waited another week for the installation but the installer didn't showed up without notice . Then I made up my mind to change the other installer , one of the window with incorrect measurement needs to wait another 3 weeks . Finally , my job has been tortured for a month in messy condition. Even though the salesman is not responsible for the job after signed . The first installer isn't professional to perform his job and did a lot of damage to all drywalls, I did appreciated to Jennifer Craig helped me to solve the problem and the second installer fixed the damaged drywall.
I couldn't sleep once this contract was signed till the job has been finished . This Company's name is unforgettable in my life.
We could not be happier with our decision to work with Nordik Windows & Doors! The experience from beginning to end was excellent. Our sales representative, Chuck, was honest, helpful and very attentive. The installation team, lead by Gino, was always on time (or early) and the quality of their work was terrific. Our project was very large (26 windows, a sliding door and an exterior door) and some challenges are to be expected. What we did not expect was how quickly and thoroughly the issues were handled by the Nordik Customer Service and Installation teams. We are so happy to have trusted Nordik with our home.
This is the third time trying to put in this complaint. Contract #***. Condensed version. Ordered windows in Aug. 8-24 Installed Feb 9-11, Feb 9 install was canceled because of installers flat tire. They showed upon the10 and 11 and started the install but only got the inside done. Feb 13 they booked for service for Feb 18 and demanded money. Feb 18 cancelled because of weather. Rebooked for Feb. 22 ccancelled because of icy conditions. March 28 salesman told me he orsered new windows because he told me the windows were defective Mar 30 booked for Apr 2 and payment was demanded. I sent pictures of defects, installer also took pictures of defects they were well aware of all the issues for 2 months. The outside of the house has been exposed all this time. The installer showed up in the afternoon obviously not prepared to finish the job but to demanded payment. We have yet to see a printed bill. The office called to say the installer told them I refused to let him do the job. Not true the house has been exposed for months now with woodpeckers pecking at the frames every morning. We're talking 13 windows. April. 6 the manager was going to inspect the windows. I was feeling well and was afraid I had covid. Understandably the manager decided not to enter the house. April 14 2 managers showed up, one from stoney creek and one from kitchener. The mangers agreed there were defects with the windows and decided reglazing would fix the problems. April 21 office called to cancel the outside capping because it was raining. April 30 installer was guilted into showing up to finish the job. After he was done I noticed there were a lot of windows not cocked properly and the finish wasn't what I ordered, again asked for money but no bill. The contract states I ordered full frames on the windows and spect I got inserts but how do I know without seeing a bill? They are suppose to show up tomorrow for the repairs, we'll see how that goes. To sum up 4 months in and still waiting
I didn't even realize how bad my old windows were, until Nordik came and replaced them!
I didn't even realize how bad my old windows were, until Nordik came and replaced them! It is so much quieter AND warmer, not to mention how beautiful they look.
My whole experience was top notch. I first met with one of their sales reps (Bre) who took measurements and discussed the different types of windows and price points. I was completely clueless on this so she helped by making some recommendations, including a beautiful design element for the front of the house on my bedroom windows (this is by far my favourite part). She was thoughtful and extremely thorough and I felt like she was making recommendations for her own home and not just a client.
Next someone else came out to double check measurements (Bre was spot on, but he said he wasn't surprised as she is one of the best!).
I then got a call from Annette to schedule my install with Larry. Annette and I spoke a couple of times as there was a snowstorm that snowed us all in and we needed to reschedule. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the whole process and accommodating.
Larry was a real gem! He treated my house as if it was his own and was very careful to contain any mess and as I was working at home, he was very thoughtful to work around me. He cleaned up afterward and answered any questions I had. He did a BEAUTIFUL install that I was absolutely DELIGHTED with.
*** The whole experience was wonderful. Through each step of the way I felt very well taken care of and respected. THANK YOU SO MUCH NORDIK Team!

We had 2 (very large) windows made and installed by Nordik Windows. The old ones were original to the house and were drafty and severely outdated. Our new Nordik windows are not only stunning, but we are already noticing that our air conditioning is running less and there are no more drafts. The installers Matt and Paul were fast, thorough, polite, cleaned up after themselves and just simply did an amazing job. The trim and capping are flawless. We look forward to having Nordik replace the rest of our windows and doors in the near future
Sales associate (Tony) was prompt, professional and even offered advice outside of the scope of his product/service. If this is an indication of their service then I look forward to providing a review after the project completion. My only concern is the long lead time for providing the window, hopefully this can be improved to expedite the project.
We only ordered one large custom-made window. The installer was incredibly skilled and professional. There was a measurement error on their end, which created a much bigger job for the installer, but he stayed late on a Friday night to do the job and came back on Sat to finish up. He did a wonderful job and cleaned up afterwards. The window looks great.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. We waited many years to do our windows, doing our due diligence to make sure we weren't going to get shivved. Well turns out the knife was rubber! They couldn't even perform terrible customer service correctly. They have a system where the salesperson gives you a quote, then calls 2 months later to schedule a re-measure. Then after that process(?) is complete they inform you that they can save you 2 grand due to an error in measurement. This gives them as much time as they want to wiggle around their contract, as the time has now shifted to the future altering the original date of the agreement. They were very persistent in getting us to re-sign the contract but alas after that barely any contact except some false dates and promises too numerous to mention. We have written down all of the fiasco but I get extremely triggered by this so I ain't gonna read it, they know what they did. Just an example our bedroom window has a large upper arc? window and it was measured five times. It was almost installed twice, with sub- contractors not even being told what they were installing. NO LADDERS? Anyway, long story short, the window hardware is stiff. Certain windows creak loudly when opening them and they constantly left a mess without a word of apology or acknowledgement of the messes. I wasn't going to write a review due to the whole process being extremely exhausting, at one point I felt threatened when they wanted us to pay for the job when it was not complete, and they installed a window that had a cracked pane in it. My wife still hasn't forgiven me for this debacle, so the old adage happy wife happy life, should be No strife, Nordik was Kife.
Back in April the salesperson was great in explaining the various options
Back in April the salesperson was great in explaining the various options. We were very comfortable with her that we actually made a 50% deposit with her with the condition that the doors be installed in late-June . We were told that they would call us very soon to come and measure the frame/doors within a couple of weeks. June rolls around and still no call. When we called the salesperson she was also surprised that no one had measured yet! July comes now and they had finally made the measurements after several reminder calls. August 29th the doors were finally installed (2 months late!) but as you can see in the pictures it was a poor install. Air comes in from 3 locations and not only did they fail to cover the staples around the frame, they forgot to bring the peep hole which was part of the agreement! When we called and complained they said they would send someone to install the peep hole, which didn't occur until Sept 16th, 2019. Upon install the technician screwed up and scratched the door ***! Another call to complain and they now had to order a new door. Obviously they acknowledged the fact that they failed to install the doors properly from our agreed June date, but they did not want to compensate for the months of hardship endured. The new door was finally ready to install and agreed on Dec 19th, 2019 install date, I took the day off and NO ONE showed up! I received an email response from Josi after several phone calls by me indicating they will now compensate me for my time lost, however that amount was not even close to what I actually lost from work. At this point we are now looking at Jan 2020 install, with many items left to question including the reputation of this company!

My experience with Nordik started out with such high hopes
My experience with Nordik started out with such high hopes. I had seen their *** ads and liked their work so I filled out a request to have someone contact me for a quote. I did this on a Saturday afternoon and they called me Sunday morning, I thought "wow! great service". The woman I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and we booked a time for a sales person to come out to my property that coming week. Following that phone call, I received a confirmation email of the appointment and then another email introducing me to my sales rep. Again, excellent communication and process.
The sales person came out to the house at the time proposed and proceeded to measure everything up. He was ok, but our personalities didn't jive, which is fine. He spent 45 minutes telling me about how great Nordik is and that they bought up a bunch of companies to become the largest window and door company who manufactures their products and how great everything was. He then left and said he would be in touch with a quote over the next couple days (which was fine as we really didn't have a timeline). Then, not 14 hours later, at 9am this morning, I get a very unprofessional email from the sales rep, copied below.
Subject: quote
"i spoke to our installation manager regarding the work you want to get done. Unfortunately we don't have the resources at this time to do the type of work that you require. Great meeting you and i wish you all the best"
Not Hi, Hello, good morning, just this. So after the 45 minutes I spent with the sales rep, completely wasting my time, they are not even going to try and quote my job. I guess Nordik has more than enough business and isn't interested in new business.
For something that started out so well, to end like this is a tragedy. I will never call Nordik for anything again

I signed the contract of replacing a total of 15 windows & 4 doors on 31st March
I signed the contract of replacing a total of 15 windows & 4 doors on 31st March .
There are a couple of issues:
1 Front door measurements issue
2 Price mismatch issue
We wanted 43 inches front door but when the technical manager came for measurements, we learned that 36 inches door is mentioned in the contract. He told that our sales rep. (Daniel L.) will contact us to rectify this. Then after so many follow-ups with Daniel, Finally on 27th Sep 2021, we finalized the front door. Also, initially we asked Nordik to uninstall/re-install the California shutters on the windows, for which extra charges were added to the contract but later decided not to go with that. When we received our updated contract, There were many discrepancies with the pricing. Also, the installation of the shutters was not removed from the contract. Upon asking for rectification, Till now we have not received the updated contract. Have made 100's of calls to Daniel, the Customer Service Team, and written multiple emails since Sep 2021, but no resolution.
Multiple followups on the installation, Finally windows were installed on 4th Nov 2021, doors got installed on 4th Jan 2022 except the front door as they had sent the wrong door (36 inches wide). On 22nd Feb 2022, Again they had sent the same door for the installation and called many times for the remaining payment to which we assured that once everything is installed properly we would pay the remaining balance right away.
Now, it's been almost 1 year, they don't have the correct door manufactured. Since 22nd Feb, I am following up with the customer support team, Sales team to cancel my front door from the contract and let me know the remaining balance. To which they are replying that my Sales Rep(Daniel) can do that and Daniel is not picking up the calls, nor replying to the emails. There is no one to help and they keep on asking to pay the remaining balance ***, it would impact my credit score if I refuse/fail to pay it.
Last summer we had custom shutter blinds installed in our house
Last summer we had custom shutter blinds installed in our house. Just before the winter, two of the windows wouldn't close and needed replacing. We called Nordik and met with a consultant, Andrew, who went through options. At that time, I asked him if there would be any problem re-installing our shutters and he assured us there wouldn't be. Andrew wrote the re-installation of the custom blinds right into the contract and we placed the order. They were installed on April 20th, 2022.
On the day of installation, the guys asked if we were keeping the blinds and I said that we were and again mentioned they were new so they needed to be reinstalled. They worked all day on both windows. At the end of the day, I was called into the room to check the windows and the guys lifted the frame of the blinds and held it up to the window to show me that they would not fit. I asked them what could be done as I had verified with Andrew that it wasn't going to be a problem. The guys just looked at me, shrugged their shoulders and said, "you need new blinds." I wasn't happy and again asked for something to be done. They started talking to each other and held the frame up again and looked like they were trying to figure out a solution. Then one of them made a phone call and I heard him say that the contract said, " reinstall custom blinds." I figured they were going to fix it but then the guy left the room and went outside. I waited upstairs while the other guy started tidying up. No one came back upstairs to tell me what was going on. I finally went outside and asked what was happening and was told "someone from the office will call you." They finished cleaning up, verified that I made a final payment and then left. I emailed Andrew and a customer service manager by the name of Michelle and to this day, no one has reached out to me. We are really upset with the lack of concern for customer satisfaction. It seems all Nordik cares about is the money.

I first made contact with your company on April 19 when I met with a somewhat knowledgeable sales agent (Eric S.) whose window and door catalogue looked like it was stored in his trunk for a year. Having an unsigned agreement in hand and having been sent on a two hour drive to your door manufacturers nonexistent showroom to verify our colour choice should have been my first clue of mismanagement. I was ready to go elsewhere at this point but my wife liked your product. We didn't hear from anyone until July 11. On September 26 our windows are installed minus a door by two customer relations savvy and competent installers (Andrew and Brady). Next day without any regard for product or service satisfaction we receive notice demanding payment with support of legal counsel from your service representative (Kristen V.). Having been taken aback by this my wife responded and the subsequent email received was quite patronizing and defensive in its dismissal of our interests. After waiting two days for caulking to cure before cleaning glass as instructed by Andrew we noticed a 6" scratch in a pane of glass.Kristen then passes us off to another service representative (Jennalee D.) for a repair job. At this point I made it clear I will not be satisfied with a repair job. On November 7 another installer (Darcy) shows up to install our new door and complete the window installation. Again, very good with customers, competent and inventive with his solutions regarding the door install. Lastly he attempts to repair the window by dismantling the factory installed window sash with much difficulty , to which I point out my concerns about the integrity of this seal. As it happens the service representatives have ordered the wrong size glass. It has been SIX months since the beginning of this fiasco so let me be perfectly clear now! We have purchased new windows and will not be satisfied with anything less than a factory sealed window sash and glass. Not until mid January did we hear from anyone and even then the window would only be repaired. Kristen V. is threatening to send our account to a collection agency even though we have paid 85% of the bill. On February 12 another nice young installer comes to our home and to his surprise has a new factory sealed sash and glass at which time I hand him a cheque for the remainder. We are happy with the products from Nordik Windows and very happy with the work of the of the installers at *** in Barrie but would not wish this experience on anyone.
Nordik Windows & Doors was my second quote at having all my windows replaced
Nordik Windows & Doors was my second quote at having all my windows replaced. The sales rep was punctual and measured all of our windows while inputting the data into his laptop. After tabulating all his data entries he quoted me a figure that was almost three grand less than competitors first quote. I assumed it was due to Nordik using double pane glass whereas competitor uses triple pane glass. I decided to add my homes exterior faux window for an additional cost and asked that the installers remove and reinstall all blinds and window coverings (a cost to me of just under $500) We signed the digital contract with the impression our house would be 100% the same as it was before installation with the only difference being new windows. Installation was to take place over 2 days and the installers arrived as scheduled but informed us they had not brought the Main window and also the faux window was the wrong shape. We enquired about the patio doors and were alarmed to discover they were not part of the digital contract we signed although my wife and I are almost 100% certain they were on the day of signing. We began trying to contact the sales rep and head office and left several voice messages. At the end of the installation period the technician was about to leave when we asked about reinstalling the blinds and window coverings back to there original location to which the reply was "Is that part of the contract?" we verified it with the technician and he agreed to do it provided they fit back. My Heart sank as this was the very first indication the blinds might not fit back as apparently all Nordik's Window frames are smaller than the original window frames. Why was this never mentioned and in fact I was quoted a price to reinstall all blinds and window coverings. In closing I would like to state that I believe business should be conducted 100% start to finish and payment should be made 100% as agreed upon. I have had no response from the sales person for over two weeks. As it stands to date I have 9 of 11 windows installed and original patio doors. Since Nordik has not returned any of my messages I am left to assume that I will incur an additional cost to replace patio doors and I know for a fact I am out an additional 2 thousand to replace all blinds and window coverings and also waiting to see if they will reverse the charge of re-installing original blinds and window coverings. I am happy with the product I did receive ***. However, Nordik Windows and Doors fell short of completing the project 100% and communication has been abysmal.

Their service is completely unacceptable
Their service is completely unacceptable. We are still resolving numerous issues with them. We arranged for our home windows, patio, and front door replacement in June. The service didn't happen until September, starting the problems. The wrong windows were ordered and installed because the sales and measurements personnel don't communicate. This lack of communication is a recurring issue. The installation team incorrectly fitted and damaged the windows without cleaning up. After multiple failed attempts to get a service tech to assess the poor job, with cancellations and no-shows, the company was unresponsive, including my sales manager Jacob Walsh. When James W. finally came to assess, he downplayed the significant damage and misaligned windows, stating no windows are perfect, which is unacceptable given the $20,000 at stake. They refuse to acknowledge their poor workmanship but are persistent about payment. On November 15, a date was set to replace some windows, but due to a mix-up, not all the promised corrections were scheduled. This means more disruptions to my schedule, increased risk during COVID, and additional cleaning, all with a new baby at home. They prioritize quantity over quality. Their voicemail boasts about eco-friendly cars instead of investing in competent installers or managing a reasonable customer load. They lack accountability, damage products, ignore communication, reschedule, send unprepared installers, and leave customers to manage the fallout. I've only paid a deposit and will not be paying them any more due to these issues. I deeply regret choosing their services.

Nordik windows (23)
Hi there, I hope you're all doing well. I am sharing my recent experience with Nordik Windows and seeking advice or insights from those who might have faced similar situations. Order number: XXXXXX Total cost: $11 778 Date of transaction: Feb.14, 2020 Windows were supposed to be installed in March, due to covid installation was delayed to May 25th. Every single window had defects, scratches and dents. Our kitchen awning window was manufactured incorrectly and will not lock due to the incorrect locking mechanism. The installers said someone would be here to look at the installation and make note of all of the deficiencies. Deficiencies to date still include: 5 dented screens, kitchen window, dents in large front window, nothing can be done unless the entire window is replaced (he attempted to add cocking so that the dents are not as noticeable). Multiple technicians have come with zero resolutions and the same stories "there are no parts available". Many months of little to no communication or answers, from Lina I. and Kevin Y.. They continue to provide multiple excuses and have brushed us off and are no longer answering or returning calls.

Hello, I entered into a contract with Nordik Windows on August 16th, 2022 where I gave a $3300 deposit for the install of my windows. Since September 19th, I have called to ask about a date for my install. They are not returning my calls and I feel as though there is inadequate customer service. I uploaded both my contract and a letter that I am sending Nordik today via email, and will send it via registered mail as well. *** please inform me of any next steps I should take. Thank you
on September 11, I paid deposit of $3900 to replace 2 windows & house door
on September 11, I paid deposit of $3900 to replace 2 windows & house door. $9134.94 to be paid upon substantial completion. my direct instruction that the trim must be same as the rest of the house. On Sep.25 2020, changes made to the door measurement & price. was $9134 & new price $ 3328.31, I initialed it. on March 18 installation contractor failed to install the window claiming that the measurement was wrong. they broke the door & the window old trim, placed a cheap frame trim on the door not match with the window above, leaving a gap between the trim & the wall. explained as it is temporary & not finished. the caulking outside is messy & is needed to be redone. remeasured the window, measurement was correct, it was contractor failure. I was told that I have to agree to place different trims, use same contractor & pay $9134.94 before finishing. I disagreed as per contract, and the price discrepancy. their legal team sent a letter of intent to place a lien on my house

I purchased windows in 2018 from*** windows now bought out from Nordik. I have one window that is leaking air and now has ice on it since Nov 2019 . I have been trying since then to have it replaced and no one can seem to figure this out over there and I've had it.

Order # XXXXXXX 3 windows $4861.26. Cost of window in dispute $1686 Balance withheld $335.97. Sales rep. recommended size & took the initial measurements. Nordik manufactured & installed inoperable window. Dec. 12 2020 Installers said dual crank operator not performing, does not open a full 90 degrees as it should. We had windows installed in November and the installation was only partially completed. 2nd install 1 week after did not correct our issue. 3 months later and over a dozen calls to nordik to correct the situation, they finally reinstalled every window because of the lack of integrity on their part. It has now been a month since then and they still have not called me about compensation for my grief, installing the door we ordered or contacted me to see if the reinstall even went well. I have an abundance of emails being sent to them, all my effort not the effort of Nordik. I want my door finished and I want them to compensate me for the time and stress that has been wasted on them.
I ordered a new door and hardware in April . Installation was supposed to happen by September but was delayed due to Nordik's supply issues and did not happen until November . At the time, the door was incorrectly installed, and the service person did not have the electronic lock hardware that was purchased and paid for, so we scheduled a follow-up visit. On the follow up in December , the service person was not aware of the issues that needed to be addressed, and again, was not sure of the hardware ordered. We booked another service in January 2022 to complete the job once and for all. The service person did not show up. I have an unfinished front door, without the hardware I ordered. Since issues have been ongoing since 2021 and unresolved, I am requesting a full refund. I did not receive what I paid for and have had an extremely frustrating experience with this company.
I have contracted Nordik Windows in September to replace all 16 windows in my home. They sent installers for the project on December 9 & 10, 2021. They've installed wrong size windows, damaged my hardwood floor and left the trims, sill and apron not finished. After repeat phone calls & emails, they've not responded to my requests. Its been 10 weeks since the installation and my home is still in state of disarray.
We originally ordered a large casement window costing $3,192.00
We originally ordered a large casement window costing $3,192.00. this was installed in October last year, & we had no need to use the open/close mechanism until April/May this year. It was then, that a critical error was discovered with the mechanism. The company was called, & we waited more than two months for someone to show up & inspect the window mechanism, his name was ***, he confirmed that the both window frames had been cut incorrectly which was causing the mechanism linkage to pop off everytime it was used, he cut more than 1/2" around the mechanism to lower it to the correct position, in order to give us a temporary fix in order to use the windows. He also discovered that the left screen had been cut too small. He said he would report his findings, & the window frames would be replaced including the screen. That was back in June 8th we keep getting promises by phone, but will not give me a printed copy of the work to be performed, & now ignoring all communication

Booked October 22 install of a sliding door with interior blinds. Nordik sent ne an install to-do list on October 19th which included instructions to remove all hardware, curtains etc prior to install. Took everything down yesterday. Sold curtains & curtain rod. Lady from Nordik's office phones me ONE DAY BEFORE INSTALL to say they didn't get the door from their manufacturer. If the manufacturer couldn't supply our door Nordik would have known more than a day prior to install. When I asked for my deposit back they refused. The lady who called wasn't nice. Went on their *** page, and apparently they've done this to a lot of customers!
- had all my windows replaced by *** in 2004 with Lifetime Warranty - there is a film appearing between the panes of my windows - called *** and was transferred to Nordik Windows and Doors. - Nordik sent someone out to verify the issue - I was later emailed by Lina L. asking for as much info about my windows as possible - I scanned everything I had and sent to her. - I emailed Lina six times asking for a status update. I am no longer getting any response from her - Based on the silence, I would say that they are not planning on fixing my windows which are under warranty

Nordik Provided a quote and a contract: we provided them with a credit card for a down-payment Nordik informed us of a time for delivery which was acceptable. Nordik failed to deliver. When contacted Nordik stated that the payment did not go through and they will require an electronic transfer. Nordik was informed that the delivery and installation NOW had a time constraint and they stated that it can be done as soon as down-payment was received. The down-payment and of $2,000 was received and acknowledged by Nordik on March 14, 2022 Nordik informed us that delivery and installation will be done in June or July, which was beyond timeline! Nordik was asked for a refund under the provisions of the Consumers Protection laws. They are not cooperating and now are refusing our attempts to contact. *** and *** reviews were answered with requests to contact them: we did and voice messages left were not returned! Please assist in retrieving the money paid based on knowingly false statements!

We purchased windows several years ago with a life time warranty in July 2 windows seals broke
We purchased windows several years ago with a life time warranty in July 2 windows seals broke. In September they sent an inspector who examined and cracked the window. We were told wait period would be 8 to 12 weeks. In March I started calling. By august I finally got an estimated time of arrival. September I emailed the manufacturer who said windows were ready for pick up by Nordik. I called Lina at nordik and informed her they were ready. She was to get back yo me. Never did. I called again now was told estimated time was October 21 still nothing. I called October 26 told again estimated time was 28 th. This has gone on for far too long. The promises of call backs which never come and the fact that in September the manufacturer said they were ready. Lina gave me order number to contact the manufacturer myself and they confirmed they were waiting on pick up. Regardless of Covid and short supplies. The fact their inspector broke window on examination this should have been a priority to replace.

I entered into a written contract with Nordik Windows & Doors on December 6 for 3 windows and 4 doors Initial installation was February 22, 2022 for the 3 windows. Only one was properly installed and the cement ledge below was damaged. Email was sent to Nordik the same day with our concerns. 2nd installation date was March 28, 2022. One window was installed cracked and third window does not fit and needs to be remade according to the installer. Existing door was damaged during installation and no longer closes properly and cannot be locked so a security issue. My request for a site visit/inspection was ignored.I have now emailed them requesting that we cancel the contract as "the work has not be provided in a good, workmanlike manner" as called for in the contract and I would like a portion of my $5750 deposit back. Received an immediate call advising that the contract cannot be cancelled. I believe I have given them all the chances I can with very little to show for it. Not sure what to do.

6 windows and front door ordered in April with installation date of August
6 windows and front door ordered in April with installation date of August. Windows installed in October with wrong colour hardware. Holes drilled in the wrong side of bathroom window. Cracks left in walls and tile broken around kitchen window. Installers wanted payment of $8,162.57 but we told them we would pay company directly only to find out the amount was actually $6,460. So glad we did not pay the installers. ***. Screens did not arrive until November. We were told the hardware was installed on the wrong side of the front door on December 1. We still have not received the front door and our calls have gone unanswered. We have paid $12,000 to date. We have pictures of the damage from installation. No one will call us back. Hope you can assist so we can get the correct hardware and front door. The existing door is not sealed and all the cold air comes in and the heat escapes which is why we ordered a. front door in April. Now we have huge heating bills this winter.. Huge inconvenience and cost associated with this.

On April 20 Nordic windows and doors company was hired to install door in our basement to replace the existing one. Upon completion of their work , the door was inspected and we realized that the contractors had dented the left side of the new panel door. They were notified of this damage they had caused. We advise them that the left panel needed to be replaced as soon as possible , the crew confirmed that they would do so when the new door panel arrived. They advised my mother that they would order it as soon as possible. It has now been approximately six months and I have attempted to contact numerous customer service representatives including Porscha on October 19, Sherry and Lena. I have also spoken to Marina on October 27 and she provided me with Robert Da *** contact information , who is the crew-members manager. I have contacted him through email and have left him multiple voicemails and he has not responded to any of my emails or voicemails. The total amount was paid in full which is $6600 to Nordik windows and doors. Located on *** Mississauga, Ontario *** It is very frustrating as Winter is nearly here and the door panel is left damaged and this issue is not resolved since Their initial installation back in April 20,2021. Please help me resolve this issue . Thank you kindly

I purchased a greenhouse window in 2015 from the ***, the company that was later acquired by Nordik
I purchased a greenhouse window in 2015 from the ***, the company that was later acquired by Nordik. In 2020 a side glass was damaged by my neighbours' roofer and I had it replaced by Nordik. The roofer paid for it. In January this year that glass cracked. I contacted Nordik and after some correspondence received an email informing me that my window has been ordered and I just need to wait for the company to contact me when it comes in. About 10 days ago I received a call from someone called Manveer informing me that my cracked window, because the crack occurred during the extreme weather, is not covered. Manveer did not know about the email informing me that the window has been ordered. Apparently the person who ordered it was on vacation and was coming back in a couple of days. I have not received either a call or an email since. I also asked Manveer to forward me the warranty but she has not. On it's advertising page on Internet, Nordik claims that they now have the coverage for 25 years for both the products and the labour. I am getting very anxious to replace my glass because the crack is both widening and lengthening. This window is open to the street and I am afraid of someone breaking in as it can easily be broken. I would rally appreciate your help, as I believe that I am entitled to the replacement. This glass is not part of the original window as it was replaced in 2020 and likely it was not as strong as the rest of the window.

On May 4 I spoke with a sales agent from Nordik which at that point we entered an agreement to have 10 windows made and installed at my residence. When windows were ready they called to schedule an installation for July 13. On this day they attended my residence and installed 9 out of the 10 windows. The 10th window they measured and determiner they had brought the wrong size. The installer advised that they would come back and install the correct window the following week (July 20). A new installer came in early fall to install the window but discovered it was only the frame and no glass. Since then I have had 5 installers come and measure the window over and over. Until the most recent discussion when I spoke to someone on March 21, 2022 and was advised that the window was in and they would come to i stall on April 1, 2022 between 9-12pm. Close to 12pm when no one called or arrived at my home I contacted Nordik and was advised that the window was not in their system to be installed today and they advised they will call me in 10 minutes. Received a voice message a few hours later advising me that the window is in the warehouse but they will not receive it for a couple of weeks therefore it will now be installed on April 21, 2022. I have had to wait close to a year for this window to be installed and every time the date comes there is an issue or no one shows up. I want this window installed by next week (April 4-8) or else I will take further action.

I had 25 windows replaced by Nordik in mid-November The cost was approximately $24,000 I found many quality issues with the way the windows were manufactured as well there are extreme leaks. I have 1 window that was manufactured to open the wrong way due to the salesman's error, this window was also installed in a wrong location. I was informed a new one would be made and would be ready sometime in January this year. Nothing further from Nordik on this. I have contacted the company many times by phone (5 or 6 times) and email (3 times). A service technician came to try and fix the leaks on February 1, 2022. Out of the many he could only fix 1 and mentioned the manufacturing defects was not something he could address. I provided the technician a 25 page document identifying all the manufacturing defects and thermal images showing the leaks. He informed me he would bring this back to the office. I email the service department with all my concerns after he left (Feb 1, 2022) The service person forwarded my email to someone in the service department, no reply. I forwarded the same email to the email address this person provided me, no reply. I received an email from a person name Terry asking me how happy I was with my windows, I replied I was not at all happy and attached the email I sent the service department. No reply. All my windows has chunks of sealing rubber missing in the corner, they all leak cold air. Many of my windows aside from the corner leaks have larger leaks from where the window in fixed into the frame.

We bought windows and doors in Stoney Creek, wrong color delivered, unresolved for 3 years.
We purchased windows and doors in Stoney Creek, but they delivered a sliding door in the wrong color, and after 3 years and numerous calls, the issue remains unresolved. Additionally, two seals on our casement windows need replacing, yet there's been no action. The original company was acquired by Nordik Windows and Doors, and despite my repeated calls over several years, I've received only non-committal responses. Technicians have visited without the right materials, citing the original window company's bankruptcy, which was later contradicted. The supplier confirmed having the necessary seals and offered replacement for a fee, but I refuse to pay for a defect covered by a 25-year guarantee. Staff turnover at Nordik is high, and I'm exhausted from reaching out to individuals who have left the company. Nordik's service has been abysmal, and I'm fed up with their lack of meaningful support. I'm reaching out for assistance. My name is [redacted], residing in Hamilton, with a service order number from Nordik. Despite ordering Dover Grey windows, I received a white sliding glass door, which they insist was my mistake, contrary to my bill's specifications. I'm seeking resolution and noticed they're listed on Complaintsboard.com, which gives me hope for a solution. Their indifference is evident, as they've neglected to address these issues. Sincerely

Absolute atrocious customer service
Absolute atrocious customer service. Contacted the company 14 times over the last month. Each time I was told I would get a call back. I did not. My door is under warranty with the company. Had s technician come out in early January to look at our broken door. He took the complete door lock and I never heard anything for three weeks. Until I started calling every day. Once I got through to a manager (but that may be false information I was provided) named ***. *** advised me the company the door parts were made by has gone out of business, there was nothing further their company could do and that we would need a completely brand new door at a full cost to us. None of which was covered by the supposed warranty with Nordik. I asked for this information to be sent to me in a written email "stating that warranty was not covered and we needed a new door". *** assured me she would provide this to me within an hour. I never was sent anything. When I call now the receptionist is blatantly *** (as she refuses to let me through without pulling up my file) and tells me *** is at lunch, away from her desk, away for the day, etc. And won't let me through to her. Never have a experienced such horrible, *** service. Company contact is Nordik Windows and doors (XXX) XXX-XXXX. *** is the one person I ever spoke with. There is no way a company should be able to get away with walking away from a warranty on a door and expect the customer to just buy a brand new door. At a full cost to the customer. This is not right. And the company should not be able to continue such business practices. I also want what I was promised, which is the full details of what they told me in writing.

* Original window measurement, quote & deposit paid: May 10 (Order XXX-XXX)
Original window measurement, quote & deposit paid: May 10 (Order XXX-XXX). Installation: Oct 6/21. Amount paid to date $4285.50 as per our letter of October 26. Nordik agreement included 68" tall custom bay windows; interior framing; exterior aluminum window roof and skirting; 25-yr warranty. 1. Installed windows were 62" tall, substantially smaller than quoted & contracted. 2. $750 worth of aluminum framing (roof and skirt in quote) was not installed. 3. We discovered the discrepancy in quoted vs actual window size in July . Despite repeated effort to have Nordik acknowledge and to address the matter fairly, they have not. Although multiple individuals at Nordik acknowledged over the phone and in writing that the price of the windows should be lower, they refused to correct the price. 4. In October, installers arrived with no materials for installing exterior aluminum roof and skirting. ***. The installer said that the installation manager, would talk to the salesperson about lowering the price to reflect the actual size and scope of the work. 5. No manager or person of authority has been in touch with us in response to ongoing expressions of concern and dispute. Self-described "customer care" representatives have been contacting us monthly to request final payment, without acknowledging the substantial dispute on file, to which we continue to call their attention. 6. In Jan 2022, we noticed cracked interior window caulking and a disconcerting buckling in the interior window frame. We sent a video of these problems to Nordik via email. Nordik responded that, without final payment as per their original quote, they wouldn't address them. Please see attachments.

My husband and I purchased 11 windows from Nordik in May for our remodel home
My husband and I purchased 11 windows from Nordik in May for our remodel home. We paid a $5,000 deposit on a $17,000 order. They sent a technician to confirm measurements in July and gave us an installation date of August 31... 3 months. We had a construction schedule planned with several trades, and planned the window installation right before the drywall. Nordik arrived on August 31 to install, and sure enough all 11 windows were incorrect, they were either the wrong size and/or wrong colour. I called Nordik immediately to complain and they apologized and told me due to the deficiency in the order, they would expedite manufacturing of the new windows and deliver them in 2-3 weeks. This delay screwed up our entire construction schedule. I wanted to ensure that they had the correct measurements, so I asked for another technician to return to remeasure. I waited weeks a for an update until finally in mid-September, I received an email from their customer service rep advising that due to the custom nature of our order, our windows had a new delivery date of October 23 or 30 (TBD). I was very upset considering this was 2 months after our original installation date. I kept reaching out to Nordik for an update on a concrete date, was it October 23 or October 30? Finally they reached out advising that due to some parts being on back order, they had to reschedule our installation to Monday, November 16. I had to rejig our trades again - not easy. The week before the new installation date, I reached out to Nordik confirming the Monday November 16 installation date and asked for an arrival time. They confirmed the date and advised between 8-10am. I took the morning off work to meet the installers at the house at 8am... waited for an hour and 40 min until I received a call from Nordik at 9:40am. They were "so sorry" for the short notice but the windows would not be installed that day because they didn't make the truck on Friday. I was livid. I asked to speak to a manager and was able to get a hold of *** (Operations Manager). She was understanding and assured me that this was a huge error on their part and their customer service rep should not have confirmed our installation date of November 16. She said that she would take over our file from that point on, and ensure our order was a priority. She committed to having the windows completed and installed the following week on November 25. She was to triple check the order and provide us with updates. How can Nordik have these windows completed in a week, when they kept delaying us due to parts being on backorder? *** On November 25, the truck arrived with 7 out of the 11 windows incorrect, again. *** said she would "triple check" the order, and yet she failed to do so. The installers completed 4 windows that day and left a mess. *** apologized again and advised that Nordik would return the next week to complete the installation on December 4. Again we had to rejig our trades. On December 4th, the installation team arrived with the remaining windows and completed the job. They left a mess inside the house and out, they nicked our new walls and ceilings, they used one of our carpenter's wood saws for cutting all the casing without permission, and they did a lousy job installing the casing. After all this, we never got a call from *** or anyone from Nordik to follow up with our installation. I waited a few days and decided to email them a lengthy note with all our comments, feedback and additional costs we incurred because of their 3 month delay and incompetence. After quite a few email exchanges between ***, *** (Controller) and ourselves, they offered us a $1,500 credit, which amounts to 8% of our total bill. Completely unacceptable.

We had 11 windows and sliding doors installed, and waiting for the front door to arrive in a month. The front windows were installed in a day and they turned out beautifully. The team we had was professional, friendly and courteous, they were experienced and cleaned up afterwards. The back windows were installed by a different team, made up of an inexperienced person training a new staff member. The back windows and sliding doors were a mess, bad caulking, dented capping, window not centred, window installed upside down. My husband dealt with the office to arrange the original team to return and fix the shoddy work. A date was made and the original team Scott and Darcy, came and saved the day! Thanks guys you are the best :) I was disappointed the back was done poorly, but very pleased that the problem was resolved quickly.
Completely regret spending my hard earned money with this company. Installation was done April (the better word to describe the installation is Butchering), and we are now August 2022 and am still waiting for deficiencies to be completed! They have been in and out of my house several times, to fix some of them but have yet to come with a proper trim for 1 window(of which they have measured at least 4 times!) and a screen for another window(which they have also measured at least 4 times!). I understand the world was not normal the last 2 years, but this is now gotten to a point of Incompetency! The sad thing is, they were paid in full! We get automated emails once in a while stating that they have not forgotten about us...What is it going to take to finish this Job? Some of the people who have come to service the deficiencies have been great, but even they don't understand why our job is not getting completed! Their Customer service is something to be desired as there is no explanation as to why this job isn't getting completed. We have over 20 more windows to change in our house, am I going to award the business to them?
i have used this company on several different projects..they no what they are doing, allways leave the job site cleaned, shout out to the father n son team, and how can i for get luke.
