Warranty items found during the pre-closing inspection, as well as some extra stuff found after closing, ain't been fixed yet. We signed up with Normandy in November to build a Saddlebrook home with the French country style on their property number XXXXXX in *** Park in *** After a bunch of delays in finishing the property, we finally moved in on 6/10. We walked around the place with the builder, Matt ***, and pointed out all the things that needed fixing in the next few weeks. Most of the stuff has been taken care of since then, but there are still a few things that haven't been fixed properly (because the workmanship was shoddy) and some other things that popped up after closing that need attention too. These outstanding issues include, but ain't limited to: - Repaint or replace the study doors that have bubbling paint (they replaced the doors, but the hinges and strike plates ain't aligned right and the doorknob was put back on poorly) - Properly paint the rear door jamb that got replaced 'cause of construction damage (the repair job was rushed and done by unqualified workers, the paint ain't complete and it's on the weather stripping) - The venthood over the stove ain't properly mounted in the cabinet (the installation was done poorly and made worse by the bad cabinet design that don't allow for proper mounting, and on top of that, the worker who did a previous repair messed up a screw that holds the control panel in place, so now it's hanging down)
