This company is terrible. I wouldn't even give them one star. They charged me $1568 for putting in a wood floor in a tiny 8 x 5 bathroom. When I tried to talk to them about it, they cussed me out over the phone. I suggest you stay away from this company!

I hired Mr. and the team at North Alabama Restorations to fix up our crib after a gnarly water loss. They made it all so much easier, I can't even tell you how stoked I am about the way they communicated and the sick work they did. I'd totally recommend these guys to anyone dealing with an insurance loss.

Don't work here, it's a bad job! They don't pay you all the money for roofing. Some workers didn't get paid for two weeks! This happened before with other workers who quit because of the pay. It's illegal for them not to pay you all the money. If you're going through the same thing, report them to the Department of Labor right away!

North Alabama Restorations was amazing! Mark Jewel, the owner, went above and beyond on every part of our project. He and his employees became like family to us, from the top to the bottom. We had a flood in our home and they came the same day the insurance sent them our claim. They packed all our belongings and when the job was done, they placed them back in. Mark was on the job site daily. We give them a 10+! Thank you North Alabama Restorations. You have certainly went above proving what a real professional business is.

North Alabama just finished fixing my dishwasher leak. They did more than what the insurance company asked for. I'm so happy with the result. They even helped me choose new floors and paint colors. The office ladies were nice. Mark and his team were great and finished early. I really like this company. If my dishwasher breaks again, I'll call them.

I had a water leak and my insurance agent told me to call North Alabama Restorations. I was worried because I never did this before. He said they'd take care of me. THEY DID. Jenard came to give me an estimate and explained everything. He took his time and made sure I understood. He also told me how long it would take.

When the crew came, they had a boss named Mark. He was there every day to make sure they did it right. He talked to me every day. He also told me who was coming and when. Being a young girl, I liked knowing who to expect.

They did all the work they said they would. IT LOOKED GREAT. I couldn't tell where the damage was. Everyone was super nice. I would tell anyone to use them.

This company ain't good. They replaced the shingles at *** Madison, AL XXXXX 'cause of wind damage, but the roof they installed in February was a total mess. The renter, owner, and contractor all thought it was unsatisfactory. The contractor's sales rep, ***, said he'd fix it, but it's been all talk and no action. The shingles were all wavy and the colors didn't match. There was even mold on some of them! The end result was the ugliest roof in the whole neighborhood. Ain't paid 'em a dime 'til they make it right. The estimate is $11,617.51 and USAA is the insurer. The sales rep's name is *** and his number is (XXX) XXX-XXXX. Don't trust 'em.

Had a big water leak on Aug. 23, 2021. Insurance got claim on same day with rep coming out to inspect for estimate. Estimate sent/received by ins. adjuster and payment got on 10/01. Ins. adjuster suggested North Alabama Restorations. Only got email about project schedule starting on Nov. 12-19, 2021. No person to person contact and phone calls were me asking for work process confirmation. Servpro gutted kitchen and removed some flooring. Didn't hear anything about project except me calling/texting NAR weekly. Removed flooring myself and upset contractor manager resulting in asking for reduction in removal of flooring. Scheduled days were cancelled due to materials not ordered or cabinets not finished. Cabinet builder came out once to measure and I gave him pictured details and samples. Cabinets were not quality made. Doors don't meet and one set has a strip of wood between them. Cabinets have nail holes filled with putty but not varnished to match areas. One side of cabinet was not varnished at all. Project was "complete" after 5 months and 10 days. One door hinge fell off and I called to report but got no response, so I fixed it myself. Nothing good to say.

NARR did a job on my crib in April to stop a leak. They said they needed new flashing around my chimney. They did the work but it was done so bad, the leak stayed. A boss came and said they messed up and would fix it. They tried again in May and it seemed fixed so I paid them. But in early February , the leak came back from the same spot. I called NARR on February 10 and they said they'd call me back. I called again on February 18 and they gave me a dude's number. I texted him my address. On March 5, I emailed a supervisor who helped me before. I said I'd call the ComplaintsBoard.com if they didn't help. I didn't say they did bad work or ask for free stuff. I just wanted them to come look at it again. I shouldn't have to call them all the time. I called other roofing companies and some came out. Water is coming in through my chimney/roof and onto my floors. The damage may be worse than just re-sealing flashing. When I pick a new company, I want NARR to pay me back.

I had some work done by North Alabama Restorations for tree removal and roof repair. However, I was charged for things that were not done or needed. The issue started when a tree branch fell on my house on 5/3. The damage was inspected on 5/4, and the estimated completion date was 5/11. The estimated cost was $2457.53, of which I paid $1457.53, and I supposedly owe $999.75 as of 5/8. I received an invoice from the company numbered 791014 on 11/23. I think I was overcharged, and the work described in the estimate was not done.

The estimate included things like R7R Ridge cap-composition shingles, which may or may not have been done because I was not given before and after pictures. The estimate also included tree removal, which never happened because only some tree branches were removed, and it took the workers about three hours to complete this task. The estimate calls for four men and six hours to remove the tree, but there were only two men. The estimate also calls for a dumpster load, but there was never a dumpster on my property, only a pickup truck with a small trailer. The estimate also calls for a crane and operator, but there was never a crane or operator on my property.

After the branches were removed, an unidentified person came to my house approximately a week later and hammered my roof approximately five times in an area that had nothing to do with the area of branch removal and left before we could meet him or her. I was charged $325.39 for this. My insurance sent a check for $1457.53 to the company, which the company apparently lost because I was called 5 months later requesting that money. The company resubmitted to my insurance, and my insurance reissued the check in my name to the company. The company then sent an unmasked employee to my home to have my wife and me endorse the check for cashing. The balance due on the total amount of $2457.28, $999.75, is my insurance deductible cost.

I believe that the check sent by my insurance company for $1457.53 in my name more than covers the actual work that was completed, and I should not be charged for workers, work, and equipment that was never done.
