To Whom it May Concern,
On the morning of October 22, my legally parked car was hit by your (NARS) insured NYC bus driver, it happened in front of my house and I have the video. Since my car was undriveable, I rented a car from Enterprise car rental on October 31. I then had to arrange for a tow truck to transport my car to the repair shop. On November 12th the estimate was emailed to your adjuster. The car was repaired and ready for pickup around December 2, but the check issued by you (NARS) had not arrived, probably because of the Thanksgiving holiday. Meanwhile, Enterprise car rental called me saying that the rental was covered until November 18 and that I was being charged for the rental from that date! I contacted Eric Moore from your insurance company to explain that I hadn’t received the check therefore could not pick up my car and that I should not be charged for the car rental. He said he’d look into it and get back to me. After calling him numerous times and leaving numerous voicemails, he finally texted me on December 6, saying that he was “still working on this”. When I finally received the check, I contacted Ali , from the repair shop to pick up my car but he said he was off on the 9th and asked that I come in the next day to pick up car, which i did.
It is unbelievable that I am going through this! Your insured driver hit my parked car, Enterprise is charging me $1675.08, my insurance premium has gone up, why? I did nothing wrong! From my perspective you should be apologizing for putting me through this ordeal instead of charging me for a rental that I would not have needed had your driver not hit my parked car. None of this is my fault.
