Hi ,No one want an accident but unfortunately I make claim through my car insurance ( direct Asia ) to NTUC income insurances car due to he(SLB9233H) hit my car on 02/08/2023 . Both made a report to the respective insurance party . Thanks to the NTUC surveyed my vehicle on 04/08/2023 but my vehicle not yet call for repair because as per my insurance statement , the TP claim is not approved as of now and workshop told me “If NTUC said TP beach the policy then our side unable to repair your vehicle under TP insurances “ and “owner of the vehicle is not the driver. And is a private hire car so NTUC will not advise so soon”.
Is this true and help to advice the process time for approval
I am really tried to follow up more than a week and still driving my broken vehicle

The delay about my car insurance
Hi good afternoon. I am really very upset. I filed a motor car insurance on 10th of July. I heard from the customer service, that the workshop sent the quotation on the 18th of July which is 8 days later. Now there is a further delay from your side. Why? Nobody wants to have the accident. This is the first time I am buying from you. ...very bad experience 😪 I really need the car. When I ask for car they said I am not entitled. The delay is causing alot of inconvenience caused. NTUC Income travel insurance
I have made NTUC annual travel insurance claim on 14 jan on behalf of my child. I own the policy as my child is a minor. There was no update on outcome of claims until I send a chaser email on 6 March. I receive a reply on 8 March claiming that an email for settlement has been send on 25 Feb(not my email) and amount has been credited to my account within a week from the date of that letter.
I replied on 9 May and state that the bank account number that NTUC income has debited into is not my account number. It is also not my child’s account. I have checked my claim form and it is indeed not the bank account number that I have written in that claim form.
I have also followed up with a call to customer service. I have requested for someone to call me. Till this day, I have receive no email, no call from ntuc income travel insurance. Absolutely nothing. The amount is not big. It is only $40. And NTUC income is taking such a long time to process a simple claim and even then, money goes to wrong account, and no reply to customer considering customer had send an email and followed up with a call.
This is my second claim with NTUC travel insurance. My child had a luggage delay in Dec and it is a straight forward case. However it took such a long time for NTUC income insurance to process the claim.
I had made another travel insurance claim with another company and I have to say, the processing was efficient and satisfactory.
Please consider other travel insurance.
NTUC travel insurance
I bought travel insurance using your online portal for my parents and helper (3 adults) for their trip to malaysia on 6-10 Jan 2023. It was the basic package and the total cost was $234 and I paid via visa. The transaction was made on 5 Jan 2023 at around 9pm. However, the system deducted my purchase 3 times and I ended up paying 3x$234. This is clearly an error and I would like a refund. My credit card company said that they cannot stop the transactions at their end and NTUC will have to give me the refund for excess charged. I was also not given the final insurance policy or any acknowledgement notification from NTUC to confirm the coverage. Despite already paying I have no assurance that my dependents had been insured for the trip.

motor insurance renewal failure
Every year or 2, I have problems renewing my motor insurance. It is unfathomable to say how much time I spent to try every few hours or days just to get disappointed.
Such a big company like ntuc and the whole several applications are that useless? What exactly are you guys creating?
Website error says: "We are unable to process your request at the moment..."
AXS Station says: "Policy holder name does not exist."
Desired outcome: Just process my reapplication for the policy 1 time at the start.Not making me try every few hrs and days
I will be hell of a surprised if you guys even process the feedback I'll be honest.
Taking too long to process an accident claim
I've submitted a request to process an accident claim for policy number [protected] since 10 Aug 2022 but I still have not received any updates on the outcome to date (28 Sep 2022). The last email correspondence I received was on 2 Sept about high volume of claims filed and it takes longer time to process my claim. Since then, I've been calling the hotline to check on the status and expedite my request but also to no use. I have policies with other insurers (e.g. AIA and Prudential) but my experience with NTUC income is the worst so far.
Desired outcome: Let me know on the outcome of the accident claim.
Motor insurance renewal gift
NTUC Insurance sent an email to renew my daughter's car insurance EV368P POLICY MEAGHAN TSI HUI LIM (12/07/2022)
Early so that I can get a $50 voucher.
In order to claim the voucher, we needed my daughter to authorize someone n bring her ic along to claim the voucher.
My daughter was traveling in UK. N we managed to get the letter to her n got her ic fr her.
Unfortunately I came back fr UK on 5 Sept w letter n ic n left to go KL to see my aged aunt 96 n came back on 9th September.
Was still hey lagged n tired n asked my brother to go n claim the voucher but didn't realize the deadline 14 Sept. He went on 16th Sept.
I wrote to ntuc via my agent n nTUC blatantly said no exceptions to the rule. Strictly Two months given to claim.
I feel it is very unfair that nTUC entice ya to renew early n give only two months to claim voucher.
Which might be OK except I was away since April 20 n came back September 5th.
N letter ntuc sent abt voucher was dated 16th July. ...
If u r genuinely giving something, why make life so difficult to claim. So typical of ntuc. 😑😑😑

No Proper Follow-Up From NTUC Agent Resulting in Rider Lapse
Dear Sir,
On 20 May 2021 received a letter from Income regarding the above. I called my agent, Mr Goh Boon Cheng, told him that I was waiting for Income to send me invoice to make payment. The agent told me I cannot make payment anymore must wait for NTUC to reinstate my rider first. I asked him for help to assist me on this matter as my 90 years old mum just discharged from the hospital and I am the only care giver...I can't leave her alone at home. The agent told me he cannot help me much, except to sent me the online form to fill with e-signature. I told him I am not so IT savvy but will try. I had follow the instruction given to me accordingly and submit. I was disappointed with the agent as being an agent he cannot even show empathy for client to ran an extra mile to deliver the documents to client home. Since then I have been waiting for my rider to be re-instat so that payment can be make but have not hear from Income. The agent also did not follow-up with me after that. Now I am told that my rider cannot be re-instat...this is again a great disappointment. I have been making payment faithfully to Income all these while both premium and rider without failed. Last year Income decided to change to become paperless and stop sending invoice and agent did not do a proper follow-up causing the payment of the rider to be delayed and thus subsequently lapse...
This is not acceptable to me. I would appreciate if you could look at the above matter and kindly reinstate my rider immediately. Income being a big and reputable organisation among the insurance industries I trust that the management will be able to handle my case with empathy, kindness and appropriately.

Motor claim
I cycled to pick up my child from school. It is school dismissal time. A grandfather drove his family business work van pick-up his grandchildren. We stopped at the junction. As I proceed to peddle, I noticed he only looked right while turning left towards the main street. His van hit me and crushed me under my bicycle. Grandfather continue not notice until his grandchildren shouted and tap the window furiously. He stopped come out, and then reversed the van.
As it is school pick-up time, pedestrian start to crowd. Grandfather refused to call police/ambulance. I asked him repeatedly as I have head hit the asphalt road and was bleeding. He insist I am alright. Ask if I can see his finger. Someone called the police/ambulance, he called his daughter.
As I am single mom, my primary school child travelled with me in ambulance. I fainted with head bleeding and concussion. He cried all the way there fearing my death. As the hospital do not have policy for unaccompanied minor sleeping in hospital, I have to reject hospital request for me to be hospitalised. I forcibly discharged myself and at home, my situation deteriorated and fainted in the ambulance back to hospital. As I do not have family and relatives, my child has to be temporarily fostered out while I recover painfully without adequate care.
My bicycle and watch is crushed. my phone flung out. NTUC took a long time to revert. NTUC not only depreciated my assets without justification, they then discounted the depreciated asset and expenses further by applying 50% cut on basis that it is 50/50 fault. The police has clearly mentioned that it is not their job to decide 50/50 fault. It is insurance arbitrary decision. For pain and suffering on me and my child, NTUC applied zero multiplier (1x) and then further apply 50% discount.
NTUC refused to engage me. They said they will only talk to my lawyer. Due to their low offer, refusal for engagement, therefore I continue not to have a phone, and bicycle. I am also unable to afford "pay-first-claim-later" attitude of NTUC, which resulted in slow and painful recovery for myself and my child. My child was traumatised and continue not receiving the appropriate care.
I disagree with NTUC:
1. Decision to depreciate my asset (bicycle, watch, phone)
2. Apply 50% on depreciated asset and expense (bicycle, watch, phone, hospital bills)
3. Apply zero multiplier (1x) on pain and suffering and then further discount 50%
I also find their claim department attitude troubling. So insurance company in Singapore could have dispute with claimant for $4.5k in May 2021 and after dragging things and delaying compensation, they still only limited to pay $4.5k, 6 months later? No penalty for their behaviour? No wonder they are not fussed and not scared of FInDeC. Drag 10 years also is still only $4.5k limit cap. Ordinary people like us suffer. The claimed amount is not pocket money. Without the claimed amount, we unable to move forward.
Desired outcome: Pay the amount claimed and the honest multiplier.
100% Durum wheat sphagetti
My family has always been using this product. Sphagetti snd macaroni.
But the said packet which was bought last week gave us a big rude shock. We Opened to cook this morning and found weevils inside once it started cooking. The weevils rose to the top and we were busy scooping up with our mesh. There so much much snd more rising to the top.
Took s so much time till my sphagetti became over cooked.
The expiry year is 2024!

Prime shield, medical questionnaire

My name is Tan Chee Fong, I have requested an upgrade of my NTUC Income Eldershield plan from Basic to Prime Shield since Nov 2020. I am contacted & went through the undertaking through VC during Nov 2020. I then also received the original application, undertaking / signed and mailed back to NTUC INCOME, everything was fine & received confirmation from NTUC Income as well as from CPF Board that the premium is been deducted.
However months after, I received a letter from NTUC on 10-Feb-2021, to remind me that I have not complete & submit additional medical questionnaire, which is still outstanding The letter mentioned the questionnaire is attached.
(1st Complaint) The letter I received do not come with any attachment as said, only an envelope included with the letter.
I have then reached out to the NTUC representative who saved me, after much trouble, I was emailed with the questionnaire to complete. I was told this questionnaire is straightforward, but when I fill it, there's mentioned of "Proposer" & "Insurer" . As I not brief on what to filled, I have put the "Proposer" person name as the NTUC representative, while my name in the "Insurer", print, sign, scan & emailed back to the representative. Later, I was contacted by the representative that I filled wrongly, as both "Proposer" & "Insurer" are to be myself, and request me to correct & send
(2nd Complaint) I don't understand why in 1st place NTUC Representative do not advise me in 1st place. How can I know the term "Proposer" since I am not working in the insurance trade. This should make known to me before even asking me to fill the form.
I hope whoever receiving & reading this complaint, can act on it. It may be necessary to check through all NTUC Income mailer and also train the representative to be customer oriented.

Can we take class action against ntuc incomeshield staffs?they are pioneer in shield and so many of us buy from them and now they are arranging and unethical.they impose a condition in my shield policy though I do not have that illness.they ask me to prove them wrong by paying specialist to complete their questionnaire though my regular physician told them I do not have such a Condition ntuc staff claim I have.but ntuc incomeshield staffs not happy and said only a special can say that and forced me to pay 400 for the questionnaire.i evd did scan and xray to substantiate I do not have that condition but they send me a brief email saying review of questionnaire rejected and they cannot remove clause which makes no sense and very bizzare.despute asking them for explaining why they rejected specialist questionnaire after making me pay so much to specialist the nthc incomeshield staffs don't give proper reply.the ntuc incomeshield are like patients from asylum going without medication. They are vindictive by nature and their conduct even when provided with all the documents they require make no sense

The issues have been since Dec 2019 and till to date they have not been resolved. No call back and just letter without addressing issues. Call back only indicate will address through letter and yet letter not addressing issues.
Have emailed and said will reply in 3 days but still not call back or reply after more than 1 week. Received renewal letter in email and i have requested hard copy of breakout of premium and still outstanding been more than 1 week with renewal due in feb 2020

Hi I ever have a bad encounter with auntie cashier lee san san and to-date she has not improve her service much to my disappointment her voice to me is still as loud as ever... On 22 august 2019 at 21.54 north point city ntuc she was very rude not smiling n talk loudly to me. I only ask her for double bag as I bought so many things at 20 over dollars and she just calculate with me which item need not have double bag... I told her nice anything that is heavy and she only give me one very mean and reflecting badly on ntuc... Saving bag is one thing but cutting costs and making customer heavy is not encouraging... I think she recognise me n somehow very mean to me unfriendly never say thank u and keep staring at me making me uncomfortable... Is that the way a cashier should be... It represent front line and very disturbing... Also she keep forcing me to buy this n that even I say no she keep repeating this is disturbing not respecting the customer right... I feel very unhappy throughout... Also she just leave my member card on the side without even telling me that is so irresponsible of her... Please do something ntuc I don't want to face her bad attitude over n over not sure if she did it deliberately even I was kind to her she did not show me basic respect... I was really pissed by her rude and mean attitude but I give her a chance and she show no improvement... I am utterly disappointed and very disturded by the services which I wasn't rendered with at taman jurong ntuc fairprice on 09/07/17.
The cashier named amy refused to change for me coin which I needed badly to get a trolley for my shopping and directed me to other cashiers to get my change which all the counters were having long queue. She saw me waiting there and simply ignored me.
Thus, I got this staff named wya wya and asked for the supervisor but she just told me off and asked me to look for the supervisor myself!
These 2 incidents are too much for a loyal customer like me who have been support ntuc fairprice all these years.
I managed to this store manger named tan kok yong office no. And I had been calling for few days and finally able to get him. To my astnoishment, he couldn't do much for me being emotionly affected by these 2 cases and pushed this to hq.
I got an sms on 17/07/17 telling that someone will get in contact with me with regard to this but til now I never heared from anyone.
Look like ntuc fairprice doesn't tresure long term customers and taking customer service very lightly. I shall have this put on social media and encourage my friends and silings stop supporting ntuc fairprice and make known what I have encountered to the public.!
No wonder some of my friends do encounter such lousy or should I say no service from ntuc.
