We contacted Numat for fence installashun and signed a paper with them and put down a 50% deposit in cash. They said the fence would be ordered and put up in a few weeks. But now Numat ain't answerin' our calls or emails. I'm real worried 'bout this, 'specially 'cause there's been other complaints 'bout 'em lately. Seems like they might be runnin' a scam.

We reached out to Numat for a quote before the pandemic, and it got delayed for a bit, which is understandable. We gave them a $2,000 cash deposit, and later on, in 5, we got in touch with Numat again to confirm the payment and the remaining balance. In March 2022, we had another conversation with Numat about changing the materials for our fence. However, since then, we haven't been able to get a hold of them. Their voicemail box is always full, and despite leaving regular voicemail and text messages, we haven't received any response from them. We just want Numat to either start the work or give us our deposit back.

I discovered Numat Fence online and contacted them for a side yard fence due to their high ratings. I spoke with the owner over the phone and received a quote of $2,100. After a property visit, the quote was adjusted to $2,200. On April 12, we signed a contract, and I sent a $1,000 deposit via Zelle. He confirmed receipt and estimated a month for the job, planning to order materials immediately. Starting May 3, I repeatedly reached out to inquire about the installation schedule. Despite numerous attempts through email, text, phone calls, and voicemails, I've received no response, raising concerns about the legitimacy of the business.

On April 13th, 2022, Numat Fence gave me a quote for their work. I signed a contract and they asked for a deposit on that day. The check was cashed on April 14th, 2022. They mentioned that the job would be finished by the first week of May, but they didn't provide a specific date. When the first week of May approached, I tried reaching out through text, but they didn't respond. After many attempts, they finally got back to me and said it would take another 2-4 weeks [first week of June]. Three weeks later, I sent an email and text asking for a start date, but unfortunately, they haven't returned my texts, emails, or phone calls. I noticed that there is another complaint on ComplaintsBoard.com with the same issue happening to someone else around the same time. I'm not sure what's going on because I've used this company before and have been satisfied with their service. At this point, all I want is a refund of the deposit.

I contacted Numat Fence last summer to get an estimate for a fence for my backyard. They said it would cost $8800 for materials and construction and agreed to install it in April 2022. I gave them a deposit of $4000 on 1/31/22. The materials arrived on 4/19/22, and they said they would start the installation later that week, which would take about 2 days. However, they never showed up. I tried texting and calling them on 4/26, 4/27, 4/28, and 4/29. Finally, they answered on 4/29 but didn't give a reason for not showing up. They said the materials were all there when I asked about any issues. But when I asked for a new installation date, they wouldn't give one. It's been almost a month since that call, and I've tried reaching out through email, text, phone, and even visiting their office in person. They haven't responded to any of my messages. We chose them because they said they could install the fence in April, so we could enjoy the summer with a fenced backyard. We're new homeowners with a 1-year-old son and a dog, and we're really upset that we paid $4000 to a company that basically took our money. I want a full refund of my deposit.

We signed a contract with Numat Fence Distributors, Inc. on April 20/21, 2022, to buy and install a fence. They asked for a deposit of $2,600 out of the total cost of $4,300, and I made sure the check was cashed the next day. They said the installation would happen in mid-May, and I was supposed to contact them to schedule it once the permit application process was almost done. I tried reaching out to Numat through phone calls, leaving voicemails, and texting the owner on the same number we used for the quote. I also sent emails to their business address, which we had used for previous communication. I even went to their business location during their working hours multiple times, but nobody answered the door. It seemed like their vehicles hadn't moved in a while, and there was a pile of merchandise outside from April. I've been trying to schedule the installation for over 4 weeks, but the owner hasn't responded at all, even after taking my deposit. On June 17th, I sent them a final email, stating that if they didn't get back to me by June 23, 2022, to schedule the installation, I would cancel the contract and demand a refund of my deposit. They haven't replied, and it's impossible to reach them. My next step is to consult my lawyer on Friday, June 24, to discuss legal action. I want my $2,600 deposit back immediately because I plan to sign with another company that can complete the job for me.
