NutriSystem Customer "NO" Service

I contacted NS in April to cancel my subscription. The service agent talked me into pausing my subscription and that NS would reach back out to me at a later date to confirm if I changed my mind on the cancelation. No one from NS reached out to me until I received an email yesterday that the order shipped and I saw an email from PayPal that my account was charged. I contacted NS this evening requesting to return the food they shipped without my approval and they won’t allow me to return the perishable foods that I didn’t order. I spoke with Kristin and them her supervisor Mike, who was not willing to take back 100% of the unauthorized order. I am not responsible for this order since I never authorized it. My account with NS has now been closed and expect a full refund.

Desired outcome: I want to return ALL food (perishable and non perishable) that was shipped 08/16/22 without my authorization at NutriSystem's expense and receive a full 100% refund.

I been trying to cancel my order before it shipped. Placed on Sep 2,2022 and decided to cancel. I could not get any in customer service and respond to email. I was on hold for customer service for 2 hours and no one answered. I been trying to cancel for a week! Worst customer service and email customer service ever. I want a full refund because I should've been able to cancel before it shipped which I tried for a week to do. Please cancel and send me a full refund. I don't want your product anymore and it seems like your company is forcing the order on me. This is appearing to be a scam and I will never never anyting from your company!

NutriSystem Shipping of food items

Food was ordered, shipped 8/1 via FedEx Smart post. Today is the 10th and food still has not arrived. Our frozen food came in short order and we started the program with that, even though the shakes were not here yet. We were assured the package would arrive soon but the tracking appears to be stalled in WV (we are in NY). How is someone supposed to start a diet routine when you don’t have all the items? And now this is going to mess up all orders going forward. My freezer isn’t big enough for a double order and the company refuses to send the non frozen items before the frozen. According to them, it all must ship at once yet the execution is severely lacking. If this doesn’t get fixed I’ll be going to a different company. And I’ll be sure they don’t use anything related to SmartPost or the USPS because they are the absolute WORST.

Desired outcome: Stop using SmartPost/USPS for shipping OR ship the non frozen goods at least a week in advance.

NutriSystem Product never received

An order of 2 containers of shakes was sent to me via FedEx. Product never received but Nutrisystem shows delivered. After multiple emails and phone calls to Nutrisystem, I filed a dispute with credit card company. My account was closed by Nutrisystem and any auto-deliveries cancelled. The Fed Ex website shows this product is pending and a call to them confirms that the package is lost. The shipper (nutrisystem) is the only one who can file a claim but so far has been unwilling to do this. The credit card company is still in the process of reviewing my dispute and has received all documentation showing product never received. No one from Nutrisystem has been willing to get this resolved.

Desired outcome: I'd like Nutrisystem to contact Fed Ex and determine that the package is lost, file a claim for the product and settle my dispute with credit card company and issue the credit. I'd appreciate a phone call so I can provide the specifics.

NutriSystem Not enough food, molded item, misleading

I ordered nutrisystem and got the plan for 50% off. I was told I could pay in 2 payments. Then, days later, they called and said I had to pay the whole total to get the 50% off. Cupcakes molded. I am still waiting for July's (2022) order. I had to go grocery shopping. I asked dor my money back and they said no. I am so so angry. This is SUCH A SCAM AND A RIPOFF. NEVER NEVER TRUST NUTRISYSTEM. I am considering legal action.

NutriSystem consistently missing food items on delivery

I hve been on nutrisystem for 5 months and have purchased numerous extra items as well as my monthly deliveries. In total I have had 13 frozen deliveries and 20 non frozen deliveries.

With the exception of 1 or 2 deliveries, my order has been consistently missing items on delivery.

Whoever packs these doesn't check their order before it ships.

I am missing between 1 and 5 items per delivery.

It is getting ridiculous, ans I am tired of it.

Desired outcome: I would like nutrisystem to develop some sort of checklist to ensure this doesn't continue to happen.

NutriSystem meal plan

this is the secund time I used the system for weight loss. and secund time find it very time taking and difficult to cancel the auto orders after I meet my goal it seems like they do you a favor to let you go after keeping you on the phone listening to the music and their commercials or having you chat with their computer-generated " carmen" for what's been now over 45 minutes long ... and still not cancelled ... very frustration and I don't think I will be back for the 3rd round ... tooo many other options

NutriSystem this is not diabetic food

I JUST started the program 05/23/2022 i asked for diabetic diet the meals yesterday breakfast snack lunch dinner my sugar was very high after each meal. Meals tasted horrible, i tried breakfast this morning lunch cheddar broccoli rice the rice is hard cant even eat it I cancelled my order yesterday,trying to phone talk with someone about this problem all phone numbers going to voice mail paid $269.00 dollars for something i cant use,this is highway robbery these meals are not diabetic meals as they advertise they need to refund my money i will keep trying to contact someone to speak with.

NutriSystem Nutrisystem

Unethical sales practices. Misleading pricing makes it appear cheaper than it is. For the price I was expecting healthy food with quality ingredients, instead it is all heavily processed garbage that you would expect to find on the clearance aisle of a discount grocery. They only process cancellations over the phone but their phone system repeatedly drops calls to prevent you from ever completing a cancellation. After I did finally get through to someone, and paid a $125 cancellation fee, they still billed me for another $500 I now have to resolve through my card company. Stay away.

Desired outcome: Full refund and dissolution of this scam of a company.

NutriSystem The entire Nutrisystem brand

First The ads stating all plans get 50% off is fake. Its misleading and false advertising. You only get the 50% off if you pay 2 months up front. All the meals pretty much have milk and lots of carbs. There needs to be a vegan and low carb options. I do not know why almost all the lunch and dinner options have tomato sauce. Which is so acidic and this causes heartburn and other health problems. The meals are tiny and I do not know why they cost sooo much. YOu get "free" shakes and they are all dairy. Which I am positive its all on the price included. There's no such thing as free. Then they don't even have options to customize according to your body type. All I see is items with bread, pasta, cheese, and tomato sauce. Yes, you may argue that you can filter out the ingredients you do not want but what does that leave you? Gross wheat cereal for breakfast, a trimix bar for lunch, and gross chili beans. Im so disappointed that they have not gotten better.

NutriSystem False advertising

They say the cost of the program is $12.11 per day, but they do not provide food the the full 28 days of the program. You eat their food 5 days a week and your own food 2 days a week. If you divide the cost of the 4 week program by 20 days instead of 28 days the cost is $16.99 per day, not the $12.11 they advertise. This practice should not be legal it is very misleading.

Desired outcome: Either show the correct cost per day of their food or provide food for the 28 days they are including in the daily cost.

NutriSystem Beef Stew

Ordered Nutrisystem autofill for two months. Changed my mind becuase beef stew was sour and made me so sick I had to take Gravol. The cheese for the pizzas doesn't melt...terrible taste, also there were mushroom ingredients in one of the Ramen noodle lunhes. Luckily, I noticed on time because I'm allergic to them.

Tried to cancel second month and they wouldn't let me. Also, tried to tell me I had been given a discount price on the first month order, which I wasn't.

Horrible food...company is difficult to deal with...not custumer oriented.

Desired outcome: I want the second month order cancelled, at no more charges coming out of my bank account.

NutriSystem No customer service

I've tried many times to contact Nutrisystem to speak with a coach both by chat and phone and it is impossible to connect with them.

As you sit there waiting to chat by iphone until it's your turn in queue, you are then greeted with a final line of...session has ended.

Once, I can understand, twice, things happen however, this has been over a dozen times over the course of 2 weeks.

Phone them you say? Good luck with that unless you enjoy the horrible music that will keep you on the phone until you can't take it anymore.

It's sad that they offer a good product yet absolutely no customer service.

Now I am seriously thinking about making this my last shipment unless customer service begins to step up to the plate and deliver what is promised with coaching.

Desired outcome: Solution to speaking with a coach without ending up in total frustration each and every time!

I did nutrisystem last year had some swelling and bloating but made it work. I found I had chronic kidney disease stage 3. Then as a christmas presents my family ordered me 2 months of auto delivery. When I started to use it I was really swelled and bloated again. I got my two months of nutrisystem food but only did it not even two weeks! Could not take all the swelling and bloating. Still did realize what was doing it. I canceled my program but still have over I 1/2 months of food. So I started to look through all the information again and started read it at the very end of article it said if your pregnant and have chronic kidney disease stage 3 should not follow this diet plan. The first time I used I was not diagnosed with chronic kidney disease. So with reading how good it was the first time I thought it would work this time. I was so wrong swelling and bloating it was horrible. I would hope you would give me full refund/ half refund.

NutriSystem Delivery timing and customer service

I am about to finish my first month of the Uniquely Yours Max+ for men (the most expensive plan) and my second month begins on Monday the 31st. My next months box however may not arrive until the following Friday (and who knows when the frozen portion will arrive).

Why on earth would the shipment arrive after I need it and still be considered "an acceptable delivery date" by NutriSystem? I am paying A LOT to have every meal provided for every day of the week yet they are ok w/ me having a lapse in me following the plan?

I have attempted to explain this twice to their customer service team and I can't determine if they are unable to understand why I am frustrated or if they are forced to never deviate from the script, regardless if why it is very soul crushing to discuss w/ them and no effort was made to resolve.

I own five shipping warehouses, I know an order can be pushed yet they tell me "nothing can be done as we are still w/in our acceptable window".

Love the plan in general but this has put a very sour taste in my mouth and precluded me from being able to recommend.

We are on our 2nd week of this same plan. Our frozen meals have not even been processed yet and who knows when they will. Unfortunately for us, we think the frozen foods taste better so all of our dinners are frozen and half the lunches. Now here we are scrambling at 5pm trying to figure out how to prepare certain meals because they can't provide products. This is completely unacceptable. If they knew the delay could be 10 days (estimate) then they should have told us this a week or more before our billing/processing date so we could have ordered sooner. I think we will need to find a backup plan or even one to switch to.

NutriSystem Advertising

The advertising for the price of the program is wrong. They advertising it at many prices but the daily price and then the total monthly price do not add up. For instance the price I got was 10.68 a day at 299 a month for5 days of meals. But 10.68 x 5 days x 4 weeks =213.60 not 299. And no one at their customers service can help me?

NutriSystem Service

Horrible service! Called about a delay in our first order, was given the California Prop 65 lead disclosure-warning… when I asked about it, Joan was dismissive and said everything in CA has a Prop 65 warning. When we asked about cancellation due to the fact our partial order would not arrive on time, she stated we needed to pay for shipping back, even though the dry ice shortage is not our fault. She was extremely rude, telling me she was the only coach/counselor and customer service rep I could speak to (no supervisors or corporate). I was so irate I called them back to let them know we would refuse the partial order shipment. Who in their right mind would allow this kind of customer service or coaching in their weight loss journey- not to mention the Prop 65 issue that they would rather sweep under the rug. No thanks.

Desired outcome: We want nothing to do with this company- HORRIBLE service .

NutriSystem Service, food, customer phone numbers that do not let you speak to a live person

First complaint are the phone numbers for Nutrisystem, just a recording that does not help when you have a problem and need to speak to a live person. First of the 2 orders I paid $500.00 for had great food for the first 2 weeks, The rest was bean dishes I wouldn't eat in any way. So, 2 weeks for the diet that should have lasted 2 weeks more. Today, I rec'd the frozen food. I went on chat and a very nice person name ed Brenda looked up my account and the dry food is still in the warehouse. Maybe 1 to 10 days to get it. NutriSystem Delivery was a day late when it got here today the dry ice was all gone and my frozen food was all defrosted.

My name is Nita Slavinsky address 8467 Imperial Circle Palmetto, Fl. 34221 my email is [protected]@ verizon.net. I called and talk to Maria who was very polite and wanted to send another box of frozen food. I said NO. Just a refund . I have already cancelled my orders now I don't want any more. Sincerely Nita Slavinsky. What more can I say about my order than I have already said on the phone and here in this complaint? Send this complaint now PLEASE

NutriSystem First order was 3/4 wrong and unwilling to rectify

I just ordered my first batch of meals. When I received my order I already knew something wasn't right when I opened the box, there were many things I didn't order. I reviewed what was on my meal menu to my order form and 3/4 of it was wrong. I know because they sent me food I am allergic to. I called customer service to see if they would rectify order. The comment I got was I see you ordered that. Well I didn't, I don't know if the website has a default or something that caused my order to go through wrong but I explained I would never order broccoli because I have a problem with my stomach that can't digest it. I did not like many of the food options that were sent to me. She only offered to replace the broccoli foods not send me the foods I did order. Yes they offered a refund but that was not what I wanted! I just wanted the food I wanted! I was looking forward to going on with my weight loss journey and now I have to start all over again. I cannot believe they wouldn't fix a first time customers order to keep a customer. Provided picture of the foods and the number I actually ordered from then with pen

NutriSystem Misleading pictures, statements and advertising, overcharging.

The "uniquely yours ultimate" plan for men is stated as to include 28 items for breakfast, lunch and dinner plus 2 snacks per day (total 56). Company is advertising" free" shakes with the plan. Normally the ultimate plan for men will deliver 28 meals per shipment, including 56 snacks (2 each day). When I select the snacks however, there are only 49 being allowed for selection. When I asked by email, their response was that it is made up with the 7 free shakes.

The shakes are not "free", instead they are included in the 28 meals per month. (28 each for breakfast, lunch dinner, plus 2 snacks per day).

New clients should also be aware that the pictures of their meals are highly misleading. They use very small plates in their pictures to make items look bigger, and they add things that aren't included. For example, a hamburger. The picture includes lettuce and pickle, and takes up the entire plate. All that is included in the item is a bun and a piece of hamburger. It's not bad, and it tastes pretty good, if you add your own trimmings, but it is misleading.
