Ordered product which advertised as free sample for $4.99 shipping only then they charged my debit card for $98.99. I never authorized this. This is very deceptive advertising. They must be stopped! There was nothing on ordering page which even alluded to the fact that a another charge would be applied. The ad stressed over and over how cheap it was to just try the product.
Do not buy products from this company! They will charge your card 98.00. Plus another 79.00. They do NOT tell you that if you are not satisfied that they go by the date you order it! Not receive it. I got the product for 4.99. They literally gave me 4 days to cancel. But did not tell me it was from the date I ordered it. Not to mention I broke out on my face and they do not accept returns and would not refund me. Total was 180.00! This company needs to be shut down! Plus they are very rude! I am sure it is because they get these complaints all the time!
They are a total nightmare. I logged a complaint on the Better Business Bureau and was surprised to only find 1 complaint logged. Go log a complaint. We need to shut them down. I got one refund of 98.71 and now I'm working on the other one. I will not stop until they give me back something because I did not agree to that. Total bull.
how do you get there phone # did me the same way, very pissed.
Try this number -- [protected] or [protected]. One rep was very pleasant and agreed to issue me the full credit once I mentioned the words BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. The other 2 reps were very nasty and argumentative, telling me I agreed to the charge which I did not. I will literally spend my every waking second reporting this and arguing for my money back. They cannot get away with this. I can see from all the complaints here that they are making a ton of money scamming everyone. Fight to get your money back!
Thanks a lot for the number that worked God Bless!
you're welcome! I'm glad you got through to them!
I have been trying to cancel my "membership" since yesterday. I copied the phone # from the website, called it, got a woman from India who (guess what?) could not find me in their system by name, zip code, or phone number! Wow. Then went online to the site to order another sample without sending it, got another toll free # and guess what? Got a male from India (I'm guessing this from their accents) and Lo, and Behold; Not in their system either! I did however, KNOW that the 14 day trial was from the ORDER DATE. Read it in fine print. So, made a note to myself to CANCEL BEFORE the 14 days were up. But have had NO LUCK in cancelling! So, called Bank to block charges to my cards. I think I'm going to get new numbers so they CAN NOT charge me. I wonder how long it will take for them to contact me? Hmmm...I think I'll tell them I have no record of ever ordering anything from them. Or at least make them send me a pre-paid return label! The product is nice, but NOT THAT NICE! You can go to Amazon.com & get Retinol, Vitamin C & AHA serums for under $20.00. These are the substances used for diminishing wrinkles and skin brightening. Check it out! I agree that this Company needs to be stopped! Send complaint to BBB?
YES log a complaint to Better Business Bureau. Everyone needs to. I have truly learned my lesson on this. Do not stop trying to get your money back or they will win.
I have the exact same experience with this company. I thought I done with them after contacting them by phone and cancelling any future orders also advised them do not debit my account for this product. This was in July and on the first of Dec I received more product without any kind of purchase order and nothing to indicate whom this package was from.Nothing. Now I have to cancell my debit card once again so I won't have to worry about this once and for all. By the time this finally corrected I will have aged 10 years! To he'll with looking younger this stress is killing me! Merry.Christmas
Do not order a trial from this company! I ordered 2 "trials" on December 13th for $4.95 each. I received the product with no information or receipt or anything so I looked them up & contacted them to say I did not want any additional product and wanted to be sure I would not be charged anything additional. No response. The numbers are a joke and all lead to the SAME RECORDING. This is a scam! I was charged two charges today to my debit card for a total of $200! I did not authorize this charge. It is late now so tomorrow am I will call the bank to fight the charge. This should be illegal. Do not order from them! Plus the product sucks. My face completely had a reaction.
I ordered this to try and have been getting charges on my charge card long before the product even arrived. charges are in the $90.00 range. I have called the numbers that are listed on my charge card and was put on hold for one half hour to an hour when i finally quit trying to get a human being to talk to. i am sending back this product and will be emailing them my cancellation. if this is not done correctly and i am not reimbursed, i will start proceedings against the company. i might add that there are three numbers to call and NONE of them answer. they put you on hold for hours and say their call volume is high and you will have to wait for a representative. i think this is a huge scam to make money by ripping off the public. really sick of these companies that make money off scams.
Keep trying to get through on their numbers -- this is the one I used [protected] -- I was also placed on hold for about 30 minutes or maybe longer, but I stayed on the line waiting patiently until a person answered. The Bella cream - a woman answered the phone for this product (Lasheeka I think) and after about 40 minutes arguing with her about the reimbursement - she offered to give me back 75% of the charge -- which at that point I took because I felt it was better than nothing. But I'm mad at myself I didn't insist on the 100% which I was entitled to. Low & behold, it's a week later and I have not received this payment back, which was supposed to be $74.26. Meanwhile, I called the other number [protected] and finally got some person on the phone -- they were very very quick to give me a full refund by that point ($99.01) because I threatened a law suit and made sure they understood that I had already logged two on-line complaints on complaint & scam boards, including the Better Business Bureau. They offered a 100% reimbursement, and believe it or not I received this on my bank statement 3 days later. So that was legit. The other subsidiary I will waste more of my time dealing with. I have submitted complaints & blocks with my bank account and with Mastercard. I even cancelled my card and had the bank re-issue me another number so there is no way they can charge me anything additional. This is truly an evil scam. Don't give up & don't let them win at this terrible game. I have learned my lesson for sure & they will definitely be sorry they ever screwed with me.
Update on this complaint is that they still have not given me that $74.26 back & after another lengthy arguing phone call now with "Jay", he said it was recorded that i did not agree to accept that refund above .Which REALLY pisses me off! After all that time I spent on the phone with Lasheeka. Now he said he is again processing this refund, which is not even a full 100% but a 75% refund. And by the way, their tactic and training has them offer you a 35% refund first, then a 50% and on up & so forth. They will basically make you fight hard to get anymore. I truly hope I see this refunded amount on my debit account soon or I will be logging more complaints all over the internet.
These are the pictures of the products I received which were supposed to be "samples"
This is the packing slip that came in the product box, with no financial information which was the first red flag, with a post-it note attached with hand written information. I knew right away that this was not right. These are all the numbers I have: [protected] Nuvajen Gold, [protected] Bella or Vayabrightskin - there are several different names. the email address I had on file was "support@nuvajenskin.com" -- someone replied to me but it was a canned response to call the customer service number. The second time after I made all my threats, the email response said that they will cancel my account and issue me the full refund. They did too - I got it on my account. I am still missing the $74.00 payment from Bella.
I'm from Australia. I have found money missing from my account too from this company. Not even sure if anything was ordered from them either. Not very happy. How can we get our money back ?
I wasted several hours on this and did get hold of one of the companies -- you have to stay on hold and wait for someone to answer. They eventually will if it's within their business hours. Just have to have the patience to wait around. I did receive a full reimbursement from one, but not the Bella Cream still - 3 weeks later. I have filed an complaint with my bank and they reimbursed me -- but are investigating the claim. IF they find they do not agree, they will also take the money back. So it's annoying and inconvenient all around. Definitely pursue it and do not let this company get away with it. Log your complaint with the Better Business Bureau and that will get the message out to more people.
I have not only notified the BBB regarding this company, I called my CC company and advised them my card is either lost or stolen to cancel and re-issue. Wish there was a way we could contact one of those civil suit lawyers like you always see on TV to help us all with our anger and possibly make them shut down or having to re-imburse each and every person they've done this too. Any suggestions out there? My suggestion is to keep doing what you're doing harass harass be one of those vigilent annoying caller we get on our phones day in and day out.
I was just telling my husband about the irritating phone call from yesterday & I am thinking to myself that this company is so well-trained to deal with this problem that it will be difficult to get the money back. The man yesterday when I got through, told me the woman I last spoke with filed my last conversation as "customer refused to accept the 75% refund"! I was so pissed because I totally accepted that crappy offer, as a last-ditch effort to get some money back. So she went and recorded that I did not accept the refund. After my 45 minutes of arguing with her, and now the additional arguing yesterday. I tried to end the conversation on a nicer tone saying that I would love nothing more than to update everyone on all the complaint boards that I did in fact receive a refund. So they know we are all logging complaints on line, and on the Better Business Bureau. No one can let up though or they will win with this game. Keep calling. Just put on a headset and let that phone ring away until someone picks up the phone. Be prepared to keep your facts straight when trying to ask for a refund because they have an answer for every single thing you will say. As for the news -- I think it's Channel 3 On Your side and I'll attach the link. Maybe I'll fill it out too -- you have to be prepared to do an on-camera interview. https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/o96NjHS7Od
Otherwise, I did do a facebook post yesterday warning all my contacts about this in the hopes that it goes viral & people share. I would encourage everyone to do that too!
I lost my job..can't afford this anymore..Ive tried calling, I was on the phone for half hour, was on my lunch break..never got thru.. I need to cancel my order.. Yvonne Hernandez 405 Roosevelt Ave Pomona Cal 91767 klubklu@yahoo.com Thank You
I didn't see much of a difference..
you need to keep trying. Today I actually got the $74.256 refund I fought for the other day. Find an hour to spend on the phone waiting for someone to pick up. It will be worth the fight if you get your money back! Definitely cancel your account too or you will get billed for the next round of shipment.
I also ordered the trial offer in December 2016, was unaware that you had to cancel within 14 days, and received another order at the
beginning of January 2017. I sucked that one up and called on January 7th 2017 to cancel, called twice on the same day to make sure
it had been cancelled. WRONG! I received another shipment dated 2/1/2017. When I called back they told me I had not cancelled!
The person I finally spoke to was Alex, who told me that the products come from different companies, although they arrive in the same
packaging without any information, and you have to call them separately in order to cancel. Why was I not told when I phoned to cancel, & why was I not given a cancellation # which is what they are supposed to give you? When I asked him who owned Bella or Nuvajen he said he didn't
know! What kind of person works for a Company without knowing who owns it?
Deceptive, rip off, fraudulent marketing practices, call it what you will, they are making a killing out of stupid women like me. Alex at Bella
was a pain in the ###, likes the sound of his own voice, and refuses to listen to you. Lasheeka kept "axing" me to listen her, instead of listening
to me first. I called Citibank to lodge a complaint, and they tell me that the merchant said "I did not cancel" ------ so much for customer
protection, it was the merchant's word over mine. So goodbye CITIBANK, goodbye Bella, Nuvajen. HELLO new credit card company, Better
Business Bureau, Scam Boards & anyone who will listen, e-mails to 243 people+, maybe they will not go out of business, but it may make
a dent in their sales!
