Requires a credit card AND bank account info
Yes, it is a real company. But they hire other companies to sell their product, so when the salesperson scams you, PPG can say "We don't do that." You know that the salesperson is predatory when they asked my mother for her credit card info AND her bank routing and account numbers so they could charge her repeatedly. I canceled both immediately. I'm a retired prosecutor. These creeps are everywhere.

Never deal with a company who ignores court subpoenas!I have been spammed with phone calls from this company using spoofed phone numbers even though my name is on the national do not call list. I purchased a policy and received it FROM PALISADE to prove it's them calling me because they hide behind fake company names and spoofed phone numbers. I then served them with court papers which they completely ignored and never reported to the court. *** (who owns both Palisade AND A-List Marketing) and *** are malicious scammers who want to rake in the bucks using illegal marketing tactics, but refuse to cooperate when they get busted. NEVER DEAL WITH A COMPANY WHO IGNORES COURT SUMMONSES! IF they become liable to you, THEY WILL IGNORE YOU AND THE COURTS!According to the *** I am entitled to damages stemming from these illegal phone calls. This company plays games, lies, misleads, cheats and wastes you time to intentionally delay any process you may have against them. They contact you just enough to make you think that they are concerned before they go silent and resume ignoring you. If you end up having a problem with Palisade, A-List Marketing, *** or ***, they play stupid games with you to stall your process of holding them responsible for their violations of the law. If this company called you with a robotic or prerecorded message, THEY OWE YOU MONEY! Make sure to file a TCPA claim against the company AND the officers.

I purchased car warranty on 04/04/2022 the finally day 04/05/2022 I cancelled. I waited for couple weeks and noticed my refund wasnt sent back to my card. Finally I called the Palisade Protection Group spoke with employee name Gabe. He told me I have to right a letter saying I want to cancel and why Im canceling. Called on numerous occasions only to be told we are processing your payment. 2-weeks again no payment. Called again today 04/07/2022 was hung up on twice the same answer as before. I received a car warranty notice in the mail after buying my car at a car dealership
I received a car warranty notice in the mail after buying my car at a car dealership. I called there number and preceded to bully me into believing the plan that I had purchased at my dealership was faulty. And they told me if I got off the phone without paying them, that my warranty would expire and I would be out of luck, even though the expiration date was a week out. They got a $495 down payment out of me, but when I tried to call them back for a refund all I get is a voicemail and put on hold for 15 minutes for each call back. And then I started receiving robo calls from a private number for two hours afterwards. Right now I have a claim filed against them with my bank. There is nothing reputable about these scam artists

This is a predatory scam company
This is a predatory scam company. They send out letters that will alarm people who are not aware of such things. They got my elderly mother (82 years old and on a limited income) to sign up for a home warranty that is $230 a month. The letter makes it seem that they are with the mortgage company - but the fine print on the bottom says that they are not affiliated. I called to cancel and was told that I need to mail a letter to get her refund. I asked directly - will this call stop future payments from coming out? I was told yes but you guessed itanother payment has been taken. Im writing in hopes to reach anyone who is researching this company BEFORE you or your family member gets scammed. Its shameful how these companies are allowed to operate and take advantage of the elderly.

I wouldnt know if it is a good deal or not to get coverage on an older care, but my complaint with them is the refund process
I wouldnt know if it is a good deal or not to get coverage on an older care, but my complaint with them is the refund process. I got my policy over the phone, bought it over the phone, used my credit card over the phone. You have 30 days to be refunded the money you paid. First it is hard finding this places information. When I did call them, I had them cancel my warranty and refund my money. The person never told me that I had to write to them to cancel it. I found this out the next time I called them, and they said oh, you have to write on a piece of paper that you want to cancel your insurance with your policy number and sign it. So now I need to waste my time writing, getting an envelope , and a stamp, to have them refund my money. A very very poor way to do business. TLDR? The refund process is a pain in the ***.

We purchased a home warranty contract on May 2, 2022 with a down payment
We purchased a home warranty contract on May 2, 2022 with a down payment. We received an email confirmation that day with the information that within *** business days we could log into "gotomycoverage.com" to view the plan. It said you would use the contract number as the password. However, the confirmation email had no number by "Contract #" so could not log in AND the expiration date was 2/16/22 ... 3 months before we even purchased a contract. It also said that the coverage packet with ID card would arrive in the mail in the next 10 business days. We waited for the packet to arrive but didn't, so called the company on May 17th and talked with an agent.. She was sorry and would email a correct confirmation that day which she did. We were able to log on and download from the site. We decided that day that we would cancel the contract as we had a 30 day window in which to do that, but had only about 15 days left in which to do that. We could never get anyone on the phone at the customer service number. Always waiting for someone to answer, and then often the message would be they would call back. We did that numerous times and never received a call back. We then called the activation section numerous times and they (at least 4 different agents) would always send the call to the customer service, and every time it was the same ... high call volume and put on hold. This happened on May 19,20,23, and 24 ... multiple times each day.. NO HELP ... no one answers the phone. We want to cancel the contract and get our down payment refunded. We don't know what the booklet says because *** If we write a letter instead of trying to get someone on the phone, they will not get it before the 30 days are up. They are closed on weekends and probably for Memorial Day. We do not want to be charged in June for a contract we do not want. We are considering contacting a lawyer.

Home warranty policy
Palisade Protection Group can not be a real company. I received a marketing piece in the mail about their premium home warranty policy. I called and decided to sign-up for it. It was astronomically expensive, but it supposedly covered everything in my home, which gave me peace of mind. I paid the monthly premium every month from one of my credit cards. Well...

Beech of contract I paid $240 a month which came out my account every month. Then when my vehicle had a problem I took it to the mechanic shop which they denied my claim. They told the mechanic shop that my membership has been expired. I have the card on hand that states the day I purchased the card and the expiration date which I contact the company and spoke to a representative which they told me my payment was up to date. They avoid the question why my coverage had been denied. They sent me to three different departments and call returned back to claim service with no explanation possible. I can not get any answer out of them. Sincerely

Was sent a card saying my car, 2015 Cadillac SRX, was fixing to loose its warranty. 1. Never owned that vehicle. 2. When I stated I never owned that vehicle, they stated I must have since the information they had said I did, 3. Them asked if I had another car that I might want to get their warranty on. This is all a scam to sell you a product that was never asked for by using fraudulent information to call them
An attached letter gives details as to my complaint which was sent to the Palisade Protection Group certified on July 9, 2022 and it was signed as received on July 14, 2022. It explains that I agreed to a contract on 5/11/22 and paid $195.00, with a monthly deduction of $180.50 to be deducted from my account. It took me three times contacting the office for the copy of the contract and in the meantime they deducted the $180.50. I tried numerous times to reach out to customer service but never received a return call. With the letter I sent, I believe my contract is cancelled (I did a stop payment with my bank for future deductions) but I would like my money returned for the $375.50 which I paid to Palisade Protection Group. I believe this company should be reported to the Complaintsboard.com for their customer service. Thank you for your help on this matter.
I received in the mail today 10/7/22 a FINAL Notification letter from Palisade Protection Group from CA that my husband *** has to contact them to renew the home warranty for ***, that is all the address shown. We do not own property in CA so obviously that is wrong and we have never heard of this company. I will upload a copy of t he letter I received. It must be some sort of scam they are trying to pull to get personal information or money from people, who knows. I want to know is this an actual address? I need to find out if someone could be using my husband's personal information as well. I would this company tp answer my questions and correct this mistake.
You guys keeping calling my mother-in-law (who is 90) and doesnt understand anything anymore about payment. She paid you over $300 dollars thinking it had to do with her actual homeowners insurance. We have since stopped her from answering the phone, so please quit calling her. She doesnt want the coverage or anything to do with you.
The week of August 22, 2022 I received a postcard to ACTIVATE an extended warranty on a car I inherited
The week of August 22, 2022 I received a postcard to ACTIVATE an extended warranty on a car I inherited. I called thinking the policy had been paid for since it was just an activation. The man I spoke with explained nicely to me how it was not just an activation, that I had to enroll also. I said I would check to see if the person I had inherited the car had paid for it or not. He got rude to the point of hanging up on him. I checked and it wasn't paid for so I called back to find out more information on the extended warranty and complain about *** I spoke to in the beginning. The person then got belligerent so I hung up. Now I am receiving scam calls constantly! Today I received a 3rd mailing, so I called to ask to speak to a supervisor and was refused. I want this Palisades Company to stop selling my information and to leave me alone!

I am filing this complaint to notify others of the continued harassment, false statements and misrepresentation of Palisades Home Warranty. They have contacted me constantly for last two years. Claiming I have an expiring policy through them. Claiming they are associated with my mortgage lender. Their letters identify being from my mortgage lender (confirmed no connection). On four different occasions I have told them directly to cease contact or I would file complaints. They state they will remove me from their list but the contact me again
26 July 2022, amount of $495.00. I was given a 30 day opportunity to review the Home Warranty documents that I never received until I called. I received the documents on 23 August 2022 via email. On 24 August 2022, I spoke with *** who stated he would cancel the policy. I called the next day and spoke with *** who started what *** said. To this day 27 August 2022,the company hasnt closed my account nor provided my refund of $495.00. Ive been charged $210.00 for auto insurance which I dont want nor do I request auto insurance. The 30 days to review the policy and receive a full refund didnt expire until 26 August 2022 which I was in my right to cancel and receive full refund. This company is a scam which the initial phone call received was under false pretenses saying I previously had the policy under my home owners insurance before paying my house off.
Back in May/23/2022 I accidentally bought a car warranty to Palisade Protection Group. I called the day after to cancel it. Palisade instructed me there was a procedure to cancel the car warranty, I was asked to send a "cancelation letter" and they provided me a tracking number to follow this transaction: SAM160612. A couple of letters were sent on June/6/2022 and no feedback was provided until Jul/15/2022, when I received a letter informing me that I am delinquent on my account and asked me to call within the next 5 days. They let me know my customer ID: ***. I called right away to *** which is a customer service line. Unfortunately the lady who answered my call cannot transfer me to somebody who can help me, actually she was very intimidating letting me know that there were no choices for me, my only choice is to pay. I need my money refunded $495.00 USD) and I will not pay for this service as I made myself clear "I *** not need it." I hope you can help with my requirement.

Yesterday a man convinced my mother to buy a $3590 premium coverage for her 2018 Kia with a long warranty.
Yesterday a man convinced my mother to buy a $3590 premium coverage for her 2018 Kia with a long warranty, claiming it would cover computer chips. This is dubious as the chip's location is unclear. I tried to cancel the plan, and while initially cooperative, the man refused to refund the $195 deposit without a written cancellation letter. They easily take payment by phone but complicate refunds. Had she used a credit card, I'd dispute the charge. Now I need to mail a letter to address this scam and get the deposit refunded.

I purchased a policy on 27 July 2022 from Palisade Protection Group (PPG) after receiving a letter about home protection. I called and was required to make the decision to decline or accept the policy during that call, or else I'd be ineligible altogether. I was given 30 days to cancel if I decided to. I called PPG on 01 August 2022 to ask about the process for canceling the policy. The representative gave me heavy resistance, and eventually told me to refer to the booklet that was sent, but I had not received. The call ended and I called back to try again, and was promptly hung up on by the representative the moment I asked about cancelling. They refused to cancel my policy and refuse to tell me how to cancel the policy I was told that I could cancel. They are actively preventing me from canceling this policy which is something that legitimate companies don't have to resort to.
I tried to cancel this initial charge and future charges immediately after giving my credit card information when I was told more about the coverage. The charge remains on my credit card and the phone number given for the company is only a recording that says they are at lunch 24/7. No one can be reached to reverse the charge despite being guaranteed that I only needed to call within 30 days to do so. I want this charge reversed and no further charges placed on my credit card or cards.
I bought a car warranty from Preferred Protection Group in an undisclosed state
I bought a car warranty from Preferred Protection Group in an undisclosed state. This was done in February with an effective date of February 28. When I spoke to the sales rep, he mentioned a 30-day wait for effectiveness. I paid a certain amount on my bank card. Upon receiving the booklet, it stated a 30-day and a specific mileage requirement. I argued that I don't drive that much annually and decided to cancel the policy. I sent a return receipt letter, which they acknowledged in February. I requested a reimbursement via check due to a dispute requiring a bank account change. Despite assurances and repeated calls, I have yet to receive my refund, and it's been months. As a senior citizen, I feel exploited and seek assistance in recovering my funds.

please help on June 17, 2022 Palisade Protection company misrepresented it self. (see enclosed letter, and documents) They are refusing to cancel the home warranty service. We want to cancel this service as soon as possible. I did not sign any type of a contract. And as an older person who just lost their spouse I'm in need of help. Thank you
I signed up for an extended warranty plan on 6/27/202 and was told I could cancel with no problem at any time before 7/27/2022 by *** who gave me his id number *** for the coverage ID. I have decided I wish to cancel the plan and called into customer service. I called on 7/06/2022 and was passed around to three people all of whom would not give me their name, told me that they would help me, yelled at me for wanting to cancel, and after *** a couple weeks. I am trying to stop this. I want my initial deposit back and the policy canceled. I have received no paperwork from them, nothing at all.
I purchased a warranty 6/27/22 and called to cancel the policy within the 30 day grace *** to receive a refund of my original payment. I have been told a supervisor would take care of it or that I would be contacted but no one reached out. Spoke to a representative today 7/19/22 and after explaining that I would not be changing my mind of explaining my financial situation to her I was either muted or hung up on with no resolution.
Home warranty purchased June 24th, 22
Home warranty purchased June 24th, 22. Agent (***) guaranteed that warranty could be cancelled within 30 days and a full refund of the ($495.00) down payment would be returned. My down payment was made via credit card. I called them the same day requesting to cancel, and was told that someone would be calling me back - they never did. As of writing this, more than 2 weeks later. I have called them almost every day they've been open a total of 22 times in an attempt to cancel and receive my refund. I still have not been called back (as I was told would happen), received any form of cancellation instructions (which I was told would be in the booklet - it is not), or simply been told how to cancel the warranty over the phone. I have since cancelled the credit card suspecting this is a fraudulent company and will be reporting my experience everywhere possible.

This is the abridged version
This is the abridged version. Purchased the plan on July 6. End of September had an issue that needed repair. The lift gate arm broke. I called the third party administrator, safeguard who told me repair would be covered. Brought car to shop who called the administrator and was told to fax service records over. Records faxed over and then they subsequently denied claim because my service records for oil changes(1 of which was done at the dealer) did not have the part number for the oil used. Instead it had name and type of oil used. I called admin and they were no help. Finally got number for palisade who I called and was forced to leave messages for them to call back. Finally when I spoke with them(***), he didnt even know his company website. When I never got calls back and tried calling numerous times I decided that I was being scammed and called my credit card company and reported as fraudulent. All I want is them to reinstate policy and provide service..

My father, who passed away in December, had a service contract.
My father passed away on Dec. 27, 2021. He had purchased a service contract in September for his 2020 Dodge Durango from Palisade Protection Group. I have the contract agreement that was purchased. After my father's death, I contacted Palisade and sent them the requested information. I have sent Palisade Protection Group a copy of the death certificate, a letter requesting a refund of the cancelled contract, along with updated contact information in my name as his estate executor. I have called them multiple times and have been told the check is in the mail, to they will email their refund department. Every time I call I get a run-around story. The total contract purchase price was $3,248.00, with effective dates of 9/10 to 10/10/26. I have been trying to get this contract refunded since March this year 2022. I have called them on the following dates: March 11, April 4, April 8, May 9, May 25, June 9, June 24, all to no avail. I would ask for your assistance in getting this contract price refunded, understanding that it will be pro-rated, however the contract was only in effect for a short period of time.
