All I done was get a quote as it is a compare service. They are now trying to say I owe them money for receiving no service or goods from them other than a quote. No emails will go through and the contact through the website does not work either.

BEWARE this company have great prices but only because its a con. If your parcel gets damaged it will most likely be on their list for excluded items. So they will willingly take your money for extra insurance but you WON'T be insured. Their Packaging guidelines are also a joke because they damage your goods but again its your fault for not finding a bit more cardboard so they can throw things around a bit easier. Last please note they also charge you extra handling costs and take the unauthorised payments out of your bank. So please think very carefully about using this company because it seems cheaper because if things go wrong YOU WILL PAY MORE

Unfortunately, my experience with Parcel Compare was quite frustrating. The delivery of my parcel was extremely delayed - almost 30 days past the expected delivery date. To make matters worse, when my parcel finally arrived, it was damaged. Despite the fact that I had paid extra for insurance, there was no compensation for the damage incurred during transit. I also paid extra for an express 3-day service, but there was no compensation for the significant delay.
To add insult to injury, the support I received from the Parcel Compare team was extremely poor. I had to go out of my way to personally contact the courier company directly to sort out the situation myself. I was disappointed to find that Parcel Compare does not provide a phone number for customers to call and report shipping problems.
Making matters worse, the Parcelcompare support team emailed me 3 days after my parcel had already been delivered in an attempt to help solve the problem - which suggested to me that they were not aware of the situation as it was happening.
