Mixed Experiences with Park Seed - A Customer's Perspective
As a gardening enthusiast, I recently explored Park Seed for my planting needs. While the wide selection of seeds initially caught my eye, my overall experience was a mix of highs and lows. The ordering process was smooth, but issues arose with payment processing and order fulfillment. Customer service interactions left me feeling frustrated, especially when trying to resolve payment discrepancies. The quality of the seeds varied, with some showing poor germination rates compared to seeds from other suppliers. Despite these challenges, the packaging of live plants was impressive, showcasing attention to detail. Moving forward, I hope to see improvements in customer service responsiveness and seed quality consistency to enhance the overall shopping experience at Park Seed.
Dead seeds/poor packaging
6 packets of Thyme seeds. Only 2 seeds have sprouted. 2 potted plants packaged in an unmarked box. USPS delivered it. Plants inside were a mess. One was sideways, out of the pot and smashed by the other. No markings saying LIVE PLANTS or handle with care. Dissapointed.
Shipping was pretty slow from these folks and I ordered
Shipping was pretty slow from these folks and I ordered from 6-8 of them.
Seed counts are smaller than others (Johnny's, Seed Savers Exchange, Harris). They don't seem to offer much that cannot be found in other sites.
I DO like their growing systems (first year trying), but I'll let you know how successful the plants are.
All and all, I would not use them again unless I was in a pinch.

Disappointing Experience with Park Seed - Caution Before Ordering Plants
I recently had an experience with Park Seed that left me feeling a bit disappointed. I went on their website and spent a good chunk of change on both seeds and potted plants. While the seeds arrived in good condition, I never received the potted plants. After waiting a month and going on a five-week vacation, I returned home to find a box waiting for me - but inside were six dead plants.
I reached out to Park Seed and was initially told that a replacement was possible since the plants were still under warranty. However, when I followed up on this promise, I received different information. The company claimed that an email had been sent to me about the delivery, but I had never received it. When I contested this, the representative suggested that I should have checked my spam folder more diligently. While I'm no slouch when it comes to managing my email inbox, I reminded the representative that I had just deleted hundreds of spam messages the day before. Despite my efforts, I was ultimately unable to secure a replacement for the lost plants.
I must admit that my experience with Park Seed left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. While I was initially excited about the variety of seeds and plants available on the website, the customer service I received left something to be desired. I would caution others to think twice before placing an order with this company, especially if you're counting on receiving healthy plants in a timely manner. Ultimately, I think there are better options out there.
Review of ParkSeed: Great Selection and Quality Seeds, Shipping Costs Too High
I have shopped at ParkSeed a handful of times over the years, and I must say that every time, I find myself impressed with the selection of products that they offer. They have everything I need to get my garden started in no time. I have even recommended the site to a few of my gardening friends.
One of the best things about ParkSeed is the quality of their seeds. I can always count on them to grow well with near 100% success rate. I recently purchased some seeds from the site and planted them in my garden, and I was delighted to see them grow beautifully. It is one of the reasons why I go to the site again and again.
However, I must say that the shipping cost at ParkSeed is too expensive. I bought some items tonight and applied a 20% off coupon to my order, but when I checked out, the shipping cost was more than the 20% off that I saved. To add salt to the wound, taxes were applied, and it was more frustrating than I had expected. The shipping cost can be discouraging when you are trying to save some money, especially when there are so many sites with free shipping these days.
ParkSeed often sends me emails, asking me to refer friends to get $10 off when they spend $10, but I am always hesitant to do so because of the high shipping costs. It makes more sense to purchase everything you need for the year or two at once to save some money or even buy locally to avoid such high shipping charges.
Overall, ParkSeed is a great site, but if you want to save some money, get what you need for the year or buy local. In conclusion, ParkSeed is an excellent site to purchase all your gardening needs; just be aware of the shipping cost and how it could affect your savings.
My Disappointing Experience with ParkSeed.com: Delayed Shipping, No Communication, and Restocking Fees
I recently made a purchase on ParkSeed.com with a gift certificate and was disappointed with the overall experience. I was expecting my plants to be shipped on April 11th, but in May I checked the status only to find it set to AUTHAUTH. When I reached out to customer support, they informed me that the order failed because there was no credit card on file (which makes sense since I used a gift certificate). Surprisingly, I never received an email or phone call to notify me of this issue.
After speaking with customer support, they assured me that they would prioritize my order, and it would ship within a day or two. However, after waiting eight long days, my order still had not shipped. Frustrated with the delay, I decided to cancel my order, but I was told that they couldn't cancel my order because their supplier used a P.O. number. They also informed me that while it wasn't my fault, they wouldn't be able to refund me the full amount and would instead deduct a 20% restocking fee.
Feeling unsatisfied, I asked to speak to a supervisor, but they failed to call me back. I am disappointed with the way they handled my situation, and I will be making sure to leave negative reviews to let others know about my experience. I had high hopes for ParkSeed, but I will never purchase from them again.
Park Seed Company: My Top Pick for Quality Seeds
Park Seed Company has been my top pick for many years. I've been in the gardening game since I was a wee babe, and that's been a good 70 years. Time sure does fly by! But one thing that's remained constant is that Park Seed just keeps impressing me with their quality seeds.
Ever since they started using those fancy-schmancy gold packets, I gotta say, I haven't had a bad experience with germination. In fact, everything I've planted, from geranium seeds from last year's splurge, to those exotic Hens and Chicks that only come out once a year, even African Violets and regular old lettuce and carrots - everything grows healthy and true to its name.
Now, I'll admit, they had a bit of a rough patch when the Park family started squabbling. It's always sad to see family drama take over a company like that. But you know what? The employees really stepped up and finally got the higher-ups in line. You know those big wigs who like to take over companies, run them into the ground, and then ride off into the sunset in their fancy sports cars? Yeah, they've been doing that to a lot of seed companies lately. But not Park Seed. They're still here, still growing, still thriving.
Of course, with that kind of history, there are bound to be some bad experiences. I've heard a few horror stories myself. But honestly, I still think it's worth giving Park Seed a chance. I know I'm planning on giving them another try soon. Who knows? Maybe I'll be able to grow some new plants that I never thought possible before!
ParkSeed Review: Moldy Calla Lilies and Poor Customer Service, Save Your Money and Go Elsewhere
Yo, I wanna let y'all know 'bout my experience with ParkSeed. So, I was hyped to get my Calla Lily Odessa from them, but when I got it, it had this gross green mold all over it. An' let me tell you, I got hella allergies and that bulb set them off like crazy. That bulb was mushy and moldy all the way to the core. I hit them up by email to say I wanted a refund, since I never even planted it.
This dude named Guillermo wrote me back, apologizin' that my bulb didn't do well and offered to send me another one. But first off, I never said I planted that bulb, so how did it not do well? And second, I didn't want another bulb, I wanted a refund, ya know what I'm sayin'? I was gonna use that money someplace else where they know how to send bulbs that ain't covered in mold.
So then I called customer service to try to get my refund. The lady who answered was super rude and didn't sound like she wanted to help me. She eventually realized I wanted a refund, but I never even got a confirmation or nothin'. Now I'm stuck with an open case on PayPal, waitin' for ParkSeed to respond.
I'm tellin' y'all, don't waste your time with this company. I shoulda looked at reviews first before I bought anything. Do yourself a favor and go to a local nursery instead. Or if you gotta buy online, check out Holland Bulb, American Meadows, or Eden Brothers. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Product Review: ParkSeed's Heavy Duty 1020 Perma Nest Seed Trays and Their Customer Service
So, I want to talk about my experience with ParkSeed and their heavy duty 1020 perma nest seed trays. I ordered these trays online through parkseed.com and unfortunately, they arrived damaged. Now, I must admit that I did not inspect the package within 48 hours of receiving it. But, that doesn't excuse the fact that the trays arrived damaged.
When I opened the box on seed planting day, I saw that the trays were dented and scratched. However, they were still usable so I decided to give them a chance. The packaging itself was not the issue because it was a large box filled with bubble popcorn that gave the trays enough space to move around during shipment.
I called the ParkSeed customer service to let them know about my issue, but I was informed that since I exceeded the 48-hour time limit, they couldn't do anything about it. I was on the phone with the customer service representative for over 15 minutes. She went through a long process that seemed unnecessary and then finally told me that there was nothing they could do to help me. I found this frustrating because I shouldn't have to pay full price for something that arrived damaged, regardless of the time limit.
In conclusion, while I appreciate that ParkSeed offers a good selection of products, including the heavy duty 1020 perma nest seed trays, their customer service could definitely use some improvement. I hope that they will reconsider their policy and realize that if they send items that are damaged, they should make it right for their customers.
Disappointing experience with Park Seed - beware of false advertising!
I thought I would give Park Seed a try because they had something that caught my eye that I couldn't find anywhere else. Their website looked decent and I thought this would be a great place to get hard to find seeds. However, my experience with them was quite disappointing.
First off, I ordered some Astra Double Mix Balloon Flower Seeds (they said they would have double blooms) and when they finally bloomed, the flowers were a single variety and very common. This was not what I was hoping for at all! I tried emailing them to let them know, but they never responded. It's frustrating that they only seem to respond when it comes to shipping and not when it comes to customer complaints.
But my experience didn't stop there. I also contacted them when only half of my order arrived. They kept telling me that it had been shipped when I asked repeatedly, and this was even after their site showed that my entire order was shipped weeks ago. It seems like they don't have any interest in helping customers whatsoever.
To be honest, I feel that they are trying to con people into buying ordinary seeds by advertising them as something special. I won't be dealing with them again in the future. I'll just stick with Veseys and my local stores for my seeds and plants.
Beware of Park Seed's Online Customer Service: Unreliable, Unprofessional, and a Total Disappointment
I had such a lousy time dealing with Park Seed's online customer service. I ordered an egift certificate for my friend's birthday and ended up giving all the necessary information TWICE, and still the email Park Seed sent me was all mixed up. They apparently sent the egift card by USPS to some random address that has nothing to do with me or my friend celebrating his birthday. I guess all my efforts just went down the drain.
What a hassle! I have never come across such incompetence while ordering online. Park Seed's customer service is pathetic and the contact details listed on its website are either not functioning or go unanswered. I tried contacting them through email but just received a perfunctory reply indicating that they would be in touch with me soon, which never happened. This shows that they are nothing but a joke because they didn’t even bother to call me back, even after I left multiple messages.
Now what does it mean? It means that my friend's present will be delivered late because of Park Seed’s incompetence. And to top it off, I will never deal with them again and will make sure to warn everyone else not to either. Their service is a total disappointment, and I think all the hassle was just not worth it. I would not recommend anyone to order from them. They are unreliable and unprofessional.
ParkSeed Co. Review: Slow Shipping, Poor Quality Plants, and Bad Customer Service
Last spring, I made an order for a bunch of seed packets from ParkSeed. I had plans to plant some of the seeds outside, while others I wanted to keep in seed trays indoors. However, to my great disappointment, none of the seeds that I planted germinated. I was a little upset, but I decided to move on from it.
Then, a little while later, in mid-August, I ordered 10 plants. I was really excited to receive them and waited patiently for the delivery to arrive. But as the weeks passed, I started to get a little anxious about when my plants would be shipped out. So I contacted customer service, who informed me that zone 6 shipments would be sent out the week of September 11th. I had no idea about this, but I was willing to wait a little while longer.
A few more weeks went by, and I still hadn't received my plants. I contacted customer service again on September 18th to inquire about the status of my order. This time, I was informed that there would be a shipping delay due to hurricane season. I was told that one of my sets of plants was on backorder, and that they should all be shipped out by October 2nd. I asked if they could send me what they had now and send the remainder in October, but they said they couldn't do that.
At this point, I was starting to get really frustrated. I agreed to wait again, but on October 2nd, I called them again to ask about the status of my order. By now, the nighttime temperatures were in the 40s, and I was really worried about my plants. To my great annoyance, I was informed that a DIFFERENT set of plants was now on backorder. I told them to forget about the backordered plants and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was so upset that I demanded my order be expedited.
Eventually, they agreed to accommodate me, but it took them a long time to get my order shipped out. Finally, on October 13th, two full months after I had placed my order, I received my plants. Some of them were tiny and half dead, and two of them were missing altogether. They were all sent ground ship, and to make matters worse, there was a note on the bill saying that if anything was missing or on backorder, they would ship it for free. This was just insulting to me.
In my opinion, ParkSeed Co. is not a reliable place to order plants from. Their customer service is lacking, and their shipping process is extremely slow. Even worse, the plants I received were not of very good quality. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience and will never do business with them again.
ParkSeed Review: Mixed Experience with Fuseables Silk 'n Satin Petunia-Bacopa Seeds
I started gardening during the year 2020 when I had a lot of spare time. My friend and Youtube helped me discover the joy of gardening, and this year I decided to try growing from seeds. I bought some of my seeds from the local H-Depot store and others from the Dollar store. But when it was time to buy seeds for my window box, I discovered ParkSeed and was thrilled. I found a beautiful mix called Fuseables Silk 'n Satin Petunia-Bacopa Seeds, which came with one fuseable seed pellet containing two types of plants. I bought three packs of these seeds, and I eagerly awaited their arrival.
When the seeds finally arrived, I had forgotten the name I had ordered and the seeds were not labeled with the name of the plants, only "Fuseable Satin and Silk" was written on the pack. So, I had to visit the ParkSeed site to figure out what I had bought. Unfortunately, I was not able to locate the product by the Satin and Silk name, which proved to be very challenging and frustrating.
After browsing the site for a while and trying to find someone who could help me, I decided to try customer service. Firstly, the live chat was useless, the person I got connected to seemed like they were not willing to help. I also sent an email, but I never received any response. Finally, after three days of waiting, I decided to call. Sadly, I was not impressed by the "why are you calling" type of attitude I received. However, they did help me identify what I had bought, but they could not offer any information past that. I wish they had a horticulturist with whom I could talk, but they did not.
I followed the instructions on the pack religiously and relied heavily on Youtube for all my seed knowledge. Finally, all the ParkSeed seeds sprouted, and my excitement was at an all-time high. I planted the baby plants in my window box and added fertilizer. However, it took about two weeks before I started noticing any growth, and it was barely significant. When the plants started to grow, I noticed that all the leaves looked the same, which worried me. But I assumed that the situation would change with time. Now, in August, after putting 20 baby plants in my window box at the beginning of May, all I have to show for it is the Bacopa which came up, but NO Petunias! And even the Bacopa did not turn out as I had hoped; it barely even fills up or flows over the box.
Here is what the company's website stated about the plant combo I had purchased: "This combo planting is good for sun or shade. Both Bacopa and Petunia do a great job of withstanding the heat and humidity of long summers, and neither minds a bit of afternoon shade, either. Set them fearlessly on the baking-hot deck, porch, or back patio. They can take it. Best of all, these blooms are self-cleaning, so you don't have to go around deadheading the literally thousands of flowers these plants will bear over their long 3 seasons of bloom. So low maintenance, so pretty, and so long-lasting. Expect the Bacopa to reach about 4 to 6 inches high and to spread 12 to 18 inches wide, while the Petunia will stretch 8 to 10 inches high and up to 3 feet long. The perfect pair, they look great all season long, with no trimming, pruning, or arranging necessary."
To summarize my experience with ParkSeed, I must say that I had some challenges with identifying the seeds I had ordered, as the packaging was not clear. Additionally, I was also disappointed that the plants didn't turn out as I had hoped. I tried contacting customer service, but my experience was not very pleasant, I wished they were more accommodating and friendlier. However, I did appreciate the fact that the seeds that did grow were of good quality, and the instructions on the packs were very easy to follow.
ParkSeed Complaints 11
Run, don't walk to a different plant/seed shop!
Last spring, I ordered multiple seed packets. Planted some outside, some in seed trays indoors. NONE of the seeds, not one, germinated. Chalked it up to... disappoint ing, moved on. Then in mid-August, I ordered 10 plants (2 sets of 3,2 sets of 2 others). I waited... weeks passed. Called and customer service told me that zone 6 ships the week of Sept 11. Oh, no one told me that, but okay. Again, I waited... called customer service 2nd time Sep 18th, and was told there's a shipping delay due to hurricane season (NC to CT?), and that one of my sets of plants was on back order; should all be shipped Oct 2nd. I said ship what you have, send remainder in Oct. Customer service said they cannot do that, must ship together. Frustrated, I agreed to wait AGAIN. On Oct 2nd I called asking for the status of my order (by now nighttime temps are in the 40*s). I was told a DIFFERENT set of plants was now on back order. I told them to forget whatever was on backorder, asked for a supervisor-- now I want my order expedited. I was told they would accommodate me. Ha! On 10/13 (2 full mos after I placed my order) I received my plants (some tiny, half dead), minus the 2 on backorder, SENT GROUND Ship after all. (AND it came with a note on the bill saying if anything was missing or on backorder, they will ship it FREE!) Are they kidding me?!
I will NEVER, EVER do business with Park Seed Co. Again.
Unimpressed with Park Seed's Customer Service and Policies - Buyer Beware!
I gotta say, not very impressed with Park Seed. They ain't like them other companies that will bend over backwards just to keep ya business. Nope, they don't give a hoot. Made me pay a hefty 20% restocking fee just to return some seed packets that weren't even complete. Can you believe it? And I also had to pay for shipping, even though I done paid for shipping on my $70 order. It's like they don't care about customer satisfaction or nothin'!
I wish I had read all them reviews before I gave Park Seed a try. I'm worried now that these seeds ain't gonna even germinate properly. But they don't seem to care none about that either.
I guess if you want a company that values your business and takes care of ya, don't waste your time with Park Seed.
Disappointing Experience with Park Seed Company's Maui Gold Elephant Ear Bulb
Got myself a Maui Gold Elephant Ear bulb from ParkSeed.com for my son's birthday present. It cost $20 and came with leaves that looked kind of droopy. Still, we planted it in the ground hoping for it to thrive. But nothing happened - the bulb never showed any new leaves.
Despite that, we still took care of it, hoping that maybe it will produce healthy growth in the next season. Sadly, that never happened. Worse, when we called Park, they told us that the guarantee had already expired and that we couldn't get a refund.
It's a shame, really. We tried to give the bulb a chance to grow but ended up with nothing in return. We learned our lesson - never to order again from Park Seed Company.

Disappointing Results from ParkSeed: A Review of Seed Quality and Yield
I done ordered a bunch of seeds from ParkSeed, thinkin' maybe I'd get better results from a fancy seed company instead of gettin' them from Lowes or Home Depot. Wanted some seeds that could withstand some diseases (specifically Fusarium) and thought this would be the place to get 'em. We even took extra good care of 'em, puttin' them in good soil inside with a heat lamp on 'em. Normally, we have pretty good luck, but this time, lots of them seeds didn't even sprout, and the San Marzano ones look like straight garbage. I ain't too pleased with 'em, but I ain't about to go complainin' to ParkSeed. I reckon I'll just find me some other seed company to give my money to next time.
ParkSeed: Beware of Hidden Shipping Charges and Misleading Offers
BEWARE if you're planning to order from ParkSeed! I recently signed up for their email newsletter hoping to score some free shipping on my next order. But when I went to use the discount code, I was told I needed to order at least $40 worth of merchandise to qualify. No one had explained that to me when I signed up with my email address. So, I reluctantly placed my order, but was pretty peeved when I saw they charged me over $6 for shipping three tiny packets of seeds all the way to Arizona. Seriously, how hard is it to stick a few envelopes in the mail? Talk about a rip off!
I have to say, I was really disappointed with ParkSeed's lack of transparency on the free shipping offer and their excessive shipping charges. It just doesn't seem fair to customers who are already trying to save a few bucks by signing up for their email list. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from them again anytime soon.
Disappointing Seeds from ParkSeed - Not Worth the Money and Poor Customer Service
I gotta tell ya, I ain't too happy with the seeds I got from ParkSeed. I got me some Marigold, Cosmos, Malabar Spinach and Orient long beans, but lemme tell ya, it wasn't worth it. The only ones that grew worth a darn were the Malabar spinach - and even then, only 6 of the 25 seeds sprouted - and the Orient long beans, but I only got 15 plants out of the whole package.
Now, last year I got me some Cosmos and Marigold seeds from Homedepot, and they did way better than the ones from ParkSeed. So I don't reckon I'll be buying from them again. And to top it all off, I done called to complain and I still ain't heard back from 'em. Ain't that just the way, their customer service takes as long as their seeds to respond. I wouldn't recommend 'em to nobody, no sirree. Terrible terrible terrible...
Disappointed with Germination Rate from ParkSeed - Snap Peas Only 20% Success
I gave ParkSeed a try by ordering different seeds from them. However, I was disappointed with the overall germination rate of the seeds. While some did grow, many of the seeds did not seem to sprout at all. The ones that did sprout looked weak and eventually died off. What's worse is that the super sugar snap peas I bought had a terrible germination rate, with only around 20% of them successfully growing. This was especially frustrating since I planted over 30 seeds, only to end up with so few that survived.
I decided to compare my experience with ParkSeed to the two other companies I had also tried buying snap seeds from. I was surprised to find that both of those companies had a germination rate of 100% and the seeds grew much faster. This led me to believe that the issue was not with my gardening skills, but rather with the seeds specifically ordered from ParkSeed.
To highlight my experience, I even tried submitting a review on their website in the hopes of letting others know about my experience. However, I had a feeling that my review wouldn't be posted publicly since all their online reviews currently rate them with five stars across the board. In fact, many of those reviews seem to be from years ago, which made me wonder if they were even relevant anymore.
Overall, I was not happy with the germination rate of the seeds I ordered from ParkSeed. While my experience may not be representative of everyone who uses their service, I do think it's important to share my views in case there are others out there who have had a similarly disappointing experience.
ParkSeed Review: Smarmy and Dishonest Pricing Practices
So, I was searching for a new online shop to buy some seeds, and found ParkSeed, which has a lot of options and great deals on sale. I decided to order seven packets of seeds, most of them on sale, and entered a promo code that offered a discount of 15% for any order. But to my surprise, when I checked the final amount, it was still charging me full price minus 15%. It's so annoying to see the prices being bumped up to full price and then taking off the discount without any explanation. That's totally smarmy and dishonest!
If the promo code is only applicable to full-price items, it should clearly state that to avoid any confusion later. I was even more disappointed when I called customer service to cancel the order, but they refused to do so. They said that I could only send the order back when it arrives. However, I was not happy with this unexpected price hike, which could have been avoided with a simple explanation.
Although the additional $6 charge may not seem like a lot of money, those sneaky tactics from the company have left me feeling highly dissatisfied with the overall experience. There are plenty of other seed companies available in the market with transparent pricing and no hidden costs. So, if you want to avoid any unpleasant surprises, it's better to stay far, far away from this one.
Terrible customer service and missing orders from ParkSeed
So, I ordered something from ParkSeed and after I bought it, it just vanished! I couldn't even print out the invoice, and they didn't bother sending one to my email either. I decided to give them a call and talk to one of their supervisors, a woman named Grace Nelson. She was so unpleasant though, always contradicting what I said and getting into fights with me over my order. I couldn't stand it anymore and finally just hung up the phone because she wouldn't stop insisting that I hadn't even bought anything in the first place.
Then, out of nowhere, I received a double order. I couldn't even send them back since my purchasing team had already accepted them. But I can tell you something for sure: I won't be risking any business dealings with this company again.
Frustrating Experience with Park Seed - Slow Shipping, Poor Customer Service, and Weak Selection
Selection is kinda weak, like a bird with a broken wing, not much going on. I picked a few items that were in stock, paid up front and sat down to wait. And boy, did I wait. It was like watching paint dry or grass grow slow. Three long weeks passed before I finally learned that my shipping info was finally sent out to USPS. Thought I was free and clear, but nope, turns out that the USPS was still waiting on Park Seed to hand over my order. What gives yo?
I sent an email asking for a refund, but the only thing I got in return was the sound of crickets. No response whatsoever. Frustrated, I decided to call their customer service line. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, I finally got connected to a rep who spoke in a whisper and mumbled his words, making it hard to understand. After putting me on hold for several minutes, he finally came back to tell me that he needed to ask his supervisor what to do about my situation. Sheesh, talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Finally, my package arrived, but by that point, I’d already bought my seeds from another vendor and received them in just three days. At this point, I was just ready to chalk it up as a loss, pull out my hair and call it a day. But then, I decided to send my package back, and surprisingly, there were no issues. Deposit it at the USPS office with no trouble. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, one that I don't think I'll be repeating anytime soon.
Disappointing experience with ParkSeed: Poor germination, dead plants, and unresponsive customer service. Will not order again
I was really disappointed with my experience at ParkSeed. A couple years back I bought some seeds from them and had a really rough time with them. Honestly, most of them didn't even germinate and it was really frustrating. I didn't order from them for a couple of years after that. But last year I decided to give them another chance. I placed an order for a bunch of flowers and vegetables and even some live plants. Unfortunately, it was another disaster. None of the calladiums grew and only half of the live plants were alive. It was really sad to see.
I tried to reach out to customer service through their website and sent a bunch of emails to them to try to get some answers about what had gone wrong. But I never heard back from them. I think I sent a total of five emails over the course of three weeks and even filled out a couple of web forms. It was really frustrating to feel like I wasn't being heard. After a while, I finally decided to call them up and see if I could get some help. They told me that they were in their busy season and hadn't been able to get to my emails. That felt really frustrating because I had already reached out so many times, but at least I finally got a response.
In the end, I did end up getting a partial refund for my order. But I was really unhappy with the response I got from customer service. They made it sound like it was my fault that the plants didn't grow, which felt really unfair. I mean, I followed all the instructions and did everything I could to make sure they would grow. But it seems like the seeds and plants themselves were just really low quality.
All in all, I don't think I'll be ordering from ParkSeed again anytime soon. Based on my experience, their products and customer service just aren't up to snuff. I would suggest finding another company to order from if you want to make sure you're getting high-quality seeds and plants.
