I'm really disappointed and frustrated with our recent experience at Pathway Hyundai
I'm really disappointed and frustrated with our recent experience at Pathway Hyundai. We still haven't received our winter tires back, and no one has made us feel comfortable after buying a new car that was misrepresented. We reached out to the dealership and even the manager hasn't responded to our email about when we can get our winter tires back. I'm giving them a one-star rating because I've been so unhappy with them for the past two years.
Communication has been terrible, and the amounts they told me were misleading
Communication has been terrible, and the amounts they told me were misleading. They didn't bother to go through the contract with me, especially about ***, and they didn't explain it either. I didn't think I needed to because I trusted the dealership, but once they got what they wanted, they treated me like I was nothing. I cried and felt so sad about this whole experience. I wish I never listened to their sweet words just to trade in our car. It's been a while, and we still haven't received our winter tires or any updates about them. I'm suffering and regretting this every day. I will never recommend Pathway Hyundai to my friends, and I will never buy a car from them again. I'm so disappointed and devastated. They haven't offered any consolation for being a loyal customer. Pathway Hyundai has caused us a lot of inconvenience. We still have our all-season tires in the back of our new car because we're still waiting for them to give us back our winter tires.
I would never buy from Pathway again, this is the third experience purchasing a car with them, twice for us and one for my son, on all occasions
I would never buy from Pathway again, this is the third experience purchasing a car with them, twice for us and one for my son, on all occasions the communication has been awful, amounts misleading, they don't take the time to go through the contract with you. I had to have bill of sale redone at least a half dozen times causing me grief and brought me to tears. Salespeople don't return calls and don't pay attention to detail. My mother recently purchased her new Kona and has received disrespectful service from the salesperson. She has also experienced the same frustration.
I would never buy a vehicle from Pathway Hyundai
I would never buy a vehicle from Pathway Hyundai. I backed out of a deal due to some misunderstanding before the car was delivered to me. The *** called me "disrespectful" because he could not convince me to go ahead with the deal. Now they are giving me the runaround. They won’t return my deposit and my ownership. I’ve called them everyday to see if I can pick up the document and they keep telling me it’s not yet ready. Today, I was left on hold for 45 minutes before the *** came back to tell me it still was not available. I've never in my life been treated like this by a business where I could potentially spend my hard earned money.

I would never recommend buying a vehicle from Pathway Hyundai
I would never recommend buying a vehicle from Pathway Hyundai. I have a long story about a purchase I was attempting to make for my Grand Daughter on a 2020 Tuscon Preferred. After a lot of negotiations they sent me Deal Summary of the cost. When I called to make arrangements for my Grand Daughter to go into the dealership to do the paper work, is when they informed me that they would respect the price quoted in the Deal Summary. I had to go back to another Hyundai dealer who had also been given me a quote simuliar to price Pathway Hyundai had given. However because I had told this other dealer that I was going to take the deal at an other Dealer ship, they also declined their offer. So due to Pathway not respecting the price quoted in Deal Summary in question, it cost my Grand Daughter a substantial amount of money extra to complete the deal with the other dealership, still a better price than what Pathway was now offering.

On August 12, we test drove a 2017 Hyundai at Pathway Hyundai
On August 12, we test drove a 2017 Hyundai at Pathway Hyundai. We didn't notice any visible damage on the vehicle, both inside and outside, and neither did the salesman. We also purchased summer tires from the dealer. On August 17, we took possession of the vehicle and had the tires installed. We also had snow tires stacked in the trunk. However, when we removed the tires at home, we discovered damage on the inside door of the hatchback. We took pictures of the damage and sent them to the salesman. We received a response from the used car manager who informed us that they would not cover the cost of the damage. We explained that the damage was most likely caused when the back door was closed and one of the snow tires caused it. We were told that the matter would be brought up with the manager. Throughout the week of August 24, we made several calls to the dealership and left messages. On August 31, we called the general manager and left a message. On September 2, we stopped by the dealership and spoke with the salesman and the used car manager. They claimed that the damage was caused by a sharp object and refused to fix it. We argued that if neither the salesman, the employees who did the detailing after the sale, nor we noticed the damage, then the only possible cause could be closing the back door on the snow tires. We were told once again that the matter would be discussed with the manager and that someone would call us the following day. However, to this date, we are still waiting for that phone call.
I bought a new 2019 Sante Fe in May
I bought a new 2019 Sante Fe in May . The car started having serious problems in May . They fixed the motor at the dealership, but it took them 47 days. They also had to replace the turbo, catalytic converter, and transmission. On December 8, it broke down again, and they had to replace the motor and it took them 73 days to fix it. I finally got the car back in February . But then, in July , it broke down again. The service manager said they would replace the whole engine. I got the car back on August 23, but the engine still had issues and the check engine light came on. On August 31, I talked to the service manager, and he said, "We can't fix your car because we don't know what's wrong with it." He offered to buy the car for the remaining loan amount, which was $24K. I asked for a weekend to think about it. After the weekend, I called back and agreed to the offer, but only if they loaned me a car for a few weeks so I could find another car. He said, "That wouldn't be a problem." I went to the dealership a few days later to sign the papers in front of the used car sales manager and the service manager. Once I signed the car over to Pathway, I reminded the service manager about our agreement for a loaner car. The used sales manager shook his head, and the service manager said, "No, I guess we can't." Two weeks later, my old car was for sale on their lot for $31K. So they must have found a way to fix it, which goes against what they told me before. It stayed there for a couple of weeks and then sold for $29K through the *** (unknown platform). I know I didn't get a fair deal for my car, but I can live with that. What's not fair is that they broke their promise to lend me a car for a few weeks. I had to rent a car for two weeks, and it cost me $1227.63.

Extremely poor and unprofessional service! I left my $10,000 to secure the vehicle, only to find the advertisement removed and then relisted the next day with a $3,000 price increase. The representative seemed to think this was acceptable. I waited a week without any updates on my situation. My trade-in was initially accepted and then rejected. It seems like the 'licensed' staff have no idea what they're doing, just wasting customers' time. Despite being aware of my claim for $85,000 on April 21st, they still expected me to travel all the way from Toronto to Ottawa on April 26th to finalize the sale. My time was completely wasted both before and after the visit. There was no effort to update me with information on the deal. They held onto my $10,000 the entire time, and I had to call on Friday to extract information from the representative, who never bothered to answer my calls. This individual was the epitome of unprofessionalism and ignorance, and shockingly, not even listed as an employee of the company. If you respect yourself and your time, stay far away from this establishment, especially the mentioned representatives. It was the worst experience ever!
