Scams vulnerable people
Paylink targets people with dementia or who are older and more susceptible to being scammed. They scammed my 93 year old grandmother, and we found out after she died that she had been paying $118 monthly for unknown reasons. We think they made her think she needed home insurance or auto insurance, but she had neither a car nor did she own a home. I hope this scam will get shut down for its unethical, horrible practices.
Recommendation: Stear clear!
I’m another PayLink scam victim
Received this postcard and thought it was for the coverage we already bought through the dealer, so I told my wife to call and ‘activate’ it. Two weeks later we received the bill for this new coverage with monthly payments of 189.33 a month, and since our coverage is included in our car payment already I called the customer service number. When I asked him to cancel this coverage and eliminate this account he refused and even told me he could be on the phone for an hour or more if needed. He never cancelled the account so I hung up and contacted the credit card company and cancelled the card and ordered a new one with a different number. Also informed the credit agencies of this scam.
Recommendation: If you already have coverage, they don’t need you your credit card number.
Pay link is a scam Im about to get a lawyer involved because my engine went out
Pay link is a scam Im about to get a lawyer involved because my engine went out. And now they trying to find all types of ways not to fix my engine Ive been paying all my payments are current and up-to-date I got my card sent to *** auto in *** they sell cars said they sent Inspectors out to look at my car to see if my engine is really need replacing now Im giving them a call they dont answer the phone Ive been on hold for a whole hour my whole car ride home Ive been on hold for a whole hour and now Im not getting any calls answered or nothing
Please help *** having the same issues as everyone else in the reviews with pay link direct. Idk how they got so much of my info in the first place but Im out 700+ Because I was tricked into believei g it was a extended warranty for my 2016 Acura tlx.
This is a scam they got me because im a young car owner and they made it seem like i needed this extended warranty, they told me it was a $115 down payment but NEVER told me that there would be a $159 monthly charge for this at all! theyve been taking money from me since june and i have tried to cancel this subscription but they keep charging my account. Whoever is in control of this company I want you to erase my card information, mailing address, phone number, and contact information from the system or legal action will be taken!
Yes! I am dealing with the same issue! How is this legal!? I have been paying 142 for over year! I finally went to my bank yesterday and canceled my debit card. I called PayLink today and they said they only handle payments. I would need to call *** Administration to cancel the contract. They had me on hold for 30 minutes! Please help! How do I get a refund like everyone else! This is crazy!
I am victim of this company
I am victim of this company . They have been billing me monthly since last year . They have been taking $231.07 from my account every month. I still have not been informed what this plan covers . No communication from this company . They tricked me into believing that the previous owner of my car was on a service plan with them . They even forget that they are already billing me and they send me letters like they did before claiming final notice that my vehicle will lose coverage . Over $1,617 has been deducted from my credit card . I must get to the bottom of this.

I have paid my premium for over a year and have never received documentation which would detail my coverage. Also when I attempted to file a claim I was unable to get any assistance from paylink. Though I have lost money for over a year, I now want to cancel this agreement which appears to be one sided.
We dont remember signing up with them and when we called to cancel, they kept asking why and offered a lower rate. We kept repeating that we wanted to cancel, but they kept talking and talking, wouldnt let us talk. They kept trying to make us keep the policy, we kept repeating to cancel. Finally they canceled after being on the phone for 15 minutes.
me into believing they were my actual extended warranty company. Had to cancel credit card for no further charges. Came here to see several other people in the same situation as me. Truly despicable business practice.
My gf had recently purchased a car and a few weeks later she tells me that this company told her that the dealership had not provided warranty
My gf had recently purchased a car and a few weeks later she tells me that this company told her that the dealership had not provided warranty and if she didnt get it done immediately. She would be paying more in the future and could be facing trouble with the law. She got scared and agreed. Once she told me , i made her close her bank accounts and notify the bank. Caught this before they took money out, but now she received a letter in the mail of a contract with them and it warns of missed payments. Whatever contract she falsely was brought into should be invalid right?

SCAM! I am in distress. The company claims to have a base of operations in an undisclosed location. I have been charged $162 per month for OVER A YEAR and have never received a brochure detailing what I was covered for. The service was supposed to insure my car against any incidents. My car is new. I have never received any confirmation of payment, nor have I received any emails or letters containing their address. PLEASE BE AWARE. I don't want this to happen to anybody else. They scammed over $2,000 from me.
I want to cancel this. I thought I needed it but after consultation with my insurance and dealership, I have found this is a scam I cannot afford. *** garbage tactics..
I have been paying this for months. I have never received policy paperwork. This was offered as an extended warranty continuation policy and was never explained other than it would be like the manufacturers warranty. The amount of $162 a month is high and the additional fees for putting this policy in place were not disclosed. Be very careful!
Very combative, argumentative, and unprofessional. Called and asked to cancel my services, and instead they kept trying to bully me into keeping the policy going. After I continued to tell them I didnt want nor need it anymore, the lady I talked to says since you dont want to answer my questions I wont answer yours and tells me I can sit on hold . I hang up call back and its the same process. Ive contacted my lawyer to help because its a waste of time trying to ask on your own .
I am friends with a very nice elderly couple who came to me and asked me for help
I am friends with a very nice elderly couple who came to me and asked me for help. They, too, were victimized by this scamming and fraudulent organization. Cons like these make the business community look bad. They are certainly very rotten apples in the business world. They were conned to "buying" whatever BS service contract over the phone, the con company managed to extract from this couple their credit card details and now are being charged $168.68 every month for 4 months now. They already contacted this company to cancel but they were made to jump through hoops and it's a dead end. No wonder this has 1 star review, they are con artists!

I spent two hours today trying to cancel this scam! uS auto lied about everything and i never knew anything about this pay link. pay link says they put a stop on my reoccurring payments but I know they are lying because on the website everything says current. i also called the car place that completely scammed me from a soliciting thar I thought was HOnDa. they kept hanging up in me and then putting me in hold for exactly 67 minutes. I HAD TO CALL AGAIN WAIT 45. the guy argued with me and told me why i ahoukdnt cancel. i LosT my job i cant afford this and I now know it was a scam anyways. i am now juatbgoing to cancel my cards and report the fraudulent companies.
Run! Run
These people will only take your money. Scam artists. When it goes for them 2 cover a claim they sure take your money quick and slow if they return it. Plan on getting transferred about 20 times to get hung up on. They dont honor there customers.
This "company" scammed my elderly father for almost $1100. When I discovered it, I went to his bank immediately and stopped the monthly payments being deducted from his checking account. I was (and still am) LIVID! My 78-year-old father is getting senile, and he has no recollection of giving this company his banking information. These scammers have no conscious whatsoever and think nothing about taking advantage of elderly people. BEWARE!
I have a gold warranty on my *** thousands as I was unaware I had a gold warranty. This company convinced me I needed the coverage and now I want all my money back! Im unemployed and broke and this company is shameful.
Company sales reps *** on the elderly. Once you discover what they doing and go to cancel, the sweet demeanor changes to immediate unprofessionalism, nasty attitudes, and interrogation-like tactics. If you have to deal with them, take my advice, record the call. Then afterwards, once the cancellation is complete, make them send you proof, then contact the bank to make sure they dont charge your account.
After having been solicited (by mail) from what appeared to be a *** representative, I ended up getting conned into a false and illegal scam
After having been solicited (by mail) from what appeared to be a *** representative, I ended up getting conned into a false and illegal scam for an unnecessary warranty - which is billed directly to my credit card. I admit to being very carefully manipulated into a ridiculous agreement - which under normal circumstances I would never have even considered. After checking with ***, it became clear this was a scam - and I had to take dramatic action just to end the monthly payments. DO NOT BE FOOLED by these criminals - I've lost over $2000 in just six months - and the billing party is Paylink Vehicle Plan in ***. DO NOT respond to any requests, and DO NOT call them !

I sat on the phone trying to cancel my auto policy
I sat on the phone trying to cancel my auto policy. I was called stupid because they assumed my vehicle would have an issue here in a few years with electronics. Then I was put on hold. I was also refused a refund of money because it was a late payment. Do not go with them. They will try to belittle you and get your payments as low as possible which that alone strives as a scam. Why after 5 times me saying I want to cancel and I dont need your services dont you understand. We only made 3 payments with you. And we will not return! I will inform everyone I know as well about this. Absolutely uncalled for. I will inform my bank to of the unauthorized payment taken as well. Distasteful service.

I called PAYLINK to cancel a policy
I called PAYLINK to cancel a policy. The representative kept me on the line with why do you want to cancel "speech" for six minutes before sending me to her supervisor who kept asking me why and how I need to keep my coverage. My answer to them was that we were going with another company. The supervisor went as far as he was going to put me on hold until I realize what I was doing if I canceled my policy. I called my bank and reported the charges and you should do the same if you have given them any of your monies. If anyone reads this PLEASE DON'T use them. Just like the other reviews, I feel that they are a scam.A reputable company would have no issues with canceling and thanking you for using them. This call was made on 12/14 @ 9:30 am spoke with ***. This company is a scam PLEASE PLEASE don't make the same mistake.

I was scammed
I was scammed. At first I thought it was legit then they transferred me to another agent to get my payment information. This agent told me it was going to be a different amount and that it would be charged monthly. I told him I was not interested and did not want the plan. He transferred me back to the first person who argued with me about why I needed to purchase the plan. I told them I did not want it and the agent hung up on me. The took the payment out of my checking account for a service I refused to purchase. My bank officer as well as myself tryed calling the number to get the money back and stop future withdraws. NO ONE ANSWERS *** PHONE. I changed debit card number. They constantly call and harass me. Now I get a *** in the mail. I never purchased the plan in the first place. What a scam. What am I to do to get them to STOP!

This is a scam company that keeps sending me invoices after saying they will suspend future payments
This is a scam company that keeps sending me invoices after saying they will suspend future payments. They have not honored my request, and I am very thankful my bank caught this scam early and prevented these crooks from taking more of my money. They are a "payment processor" on behalf of the fraudulent "extended car warranty" company "Direct Auto Warranty", which tricked me into buying a service I never had and don't need over the phone. I never saw any contract and terms of service. No receipt of purchase was emailed or mailed to me. *** told me to contact *** Administrative Services Inc instead of Direct Auto Warranty to cancel my "policy". This is another fraudulent "company" that's well-known for scamming people. It's pretty clear PayLink and its affiliates aren't legitimate businesses. Justice needs to be served for the many people who have been scammed by them.

I am so annoyed my husband and I answered a letter to get a house warranty we are in our 70's and we gave our bank details to the company to set up direct debit which they did not do. I am very glad they cancelled due to non-payment. When you phone this Company, they have a recording saying they are one of the *** Company's in the complaintsboard.com (Liars). Looking at the complaints. The girl who answered the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful no apology for the person that signed us up not doing their job properly and professionally. If I ran that company heads would roll for not making sure my customer was completely satisfied and a *** was arranged. We made one payment for $184 which I think they should return to us immediately as they are not a good company at all. From now on I will look for a more honest company to get a home warranty.*** LH

A sales rep from one of the companies they work with scared my wife into a car warranty policy she didn't need
A sales rep from one of the companies they work with scared my wife into a car warranty policy she didn't need. We were billed close to 1100.00 dollars, since last July. The customer service people for Paylink and their associate companies are monsters. When you try and get a refund, they will send you to company after company, department after department, trying to get answers--just to have one troll refer you back to another, until you lose hope entirely. Some of these hobgoblins have pleasant voices, some are nasty in tone: All are in on the scheme. None have any shame. I have gotten nowhere in the refund process. I am hoping the Complaintsboard.com gets results. We want all of our money back. The world is suffering beyond words and these people will not stop lying and cheating the innocent. If there is a Hell, Paylink runs its books. I have over 4000 connections in the business world on Linkedin.com. If I do not receive a full refund, I will tell all these contacts of mine how vicious and awful Paylink and its friends are. Hopefully, they will forward my post to their connections and this company will go broke and disappear. One day science will prove that the Corona virus feared contact with Paylink. They are that gross and awful!

Paylink, which supports Sky *** Protection, sent me a letter in the mail shortly after I purchased my car, and in my belief, had the direct, malicious intention to make me believe my dealership had already started the insurance process with them, and that I would have to finalize the deal with Paylink/Sky *** Protection to be insured. I had never received communication from then before or requested information from them before purchasing my car. From reading other comments within the ***, it appears other individuals have had the same experience--being led on to believe PayLink/Sky *** Protection was an extension of the paperwork completed at a dealership. Upon calling Skylink's customer service and indicating I would like my account cancelled, the representative was aggressive and rude, and would not directly cancel my account and wanted to read me the benefits of continuing my account, even when I asked him not to. He said it was "unprecedented" that someone would close down their account and lose 2 months worth of payment, and when he finally did cancel my account, said he would as he "couldn't get a word in edgewise," spat out a confirmation number and hung up on me. I believe these were all tactics used to not get me to cancel my account.

Paylink please STOP charging my elderly parents credit card
Paylink please STOP charging my elderly parents credit card. My elderly parent is being ripped off. I bring this to your attention because perhaps you are unaware and I want to give you an opportunity to correct this matter. For now, I say to everyone, please do not do business with them. My mother requested cancellation of her warranty policy in September and they kept charging her credit card until my sister and I got involved. We spent over 1 1/2-hours speaking with X and her manager (XX, stated he represented ***Ins Direct). X tried to solicit my Mother into buying ADDITIONAL coverage (vs. cancelling as requested) and the manager (XX) made lies and fraudulent statements. This should have been an easy resolution, when a named insured requests cancellation of their warranty coverage on their vehicle, it should be immediately concluded on the effective date of the request and not continuously trying to market & take advantage of a senior. We discovered our Mother's credit card was continously to be charged for September, October, November, December! It should have been cancelled effective the initial request of cancellation date & was never cancelled and they would not retroactively reimbursed for funds that they were NOT due! A claim was NEVER paid! I witnessed the request for cancellation myself, I know what was stated. No stars, just a STRONG warning! Please exercise strong due caution in doing business with these people. Join with me to make an official complaint to any and all applicable governing parties. Thank you for time, we had unfortunate dealing with this *** affiliate. If you have had a bad experience, please speak up.

The review from RD
The review from RD. couldn't be more accurate! I'm dealing with the same exact problem more or less.. I mistakenly agreed with their offers for car warranty coverage, and now it's been more than a headache. It has been a NIGHTMARE! Every month I've paid for 5 months now. And after the 2nd month is when i tried to cancel. It's been three months and i STILL can't cancel this service! They refuse to let me cancel. Who does that? The *** on the phone basically harassed me for 30 min telling me how i "need this" coverage for my car ,and he also said "if it was free, you would have no problem with having it".. WHAT AN [censored]! nothing is free, that's not even fair analogy at all. Every time I would say "i want to cancel, how many ways is there to say NO?!" He would have a response almost like he had a page in front of him for every thing someone says, they've got a typed up response to go by. And I also believe this company is a scam. They have been calling me for the last payment, however it was processed over a week ago..not only that, they also double charged me and are still calling asking me for the last payment. I refuse to be involved in their nonsense. I no longer want to speak with them.. It's now at the point someone else has to be involved. I am going to report those charges on my credit card and report them to the Complaintsboard.com. They put me in a position that I'm very stressed out over this and my money situation. I have a car which is practically brand new. It's only a couple months over a year old and it's a *** I should have never agreed to their warranty in the first place. SO UPSET! They are the worst company ever.. DO NOT AGREE TO GO WITH THIS FAKE WARRANTY

Paylink vehicle plan
My mother is 86 years old and has had dementia for over 6 years, after going through her bank statements to make sure no one is ripping her off I found that Pay Link Vehicle plan is doing just that. She hasnt driven a car in over 10 years, the last car she had was a 2011 Dodge Journey These people called her and offered her a warranty and charged her $164.92 per month for a car she cant and doesnt drive. This company has completely taken advantage of a senior citizen. Her not knowing she doesnt drive anymore she apparently agreed to this scam. These people prey on helpless people. She doesnt even have any paper work or documentation on this alleged warrantee. We only found out about this by going through her bank statements
Desired outcome: Full refund of all payments made

Paylink has no customer service as far as I’m concerned, it’s difficult to get Refunds that your get back when you take your car to get serviced, it’s not worth $189 month, I’ve never even used it, have had it for 8 months now, Do not purchase this warranty plan or you’ll be sorry
Paylink car warranty service cancellation
I called Paylink Direct to cancel my car warranty 2 weeks ago since I no longer have this vehicle. They never called me back and just today they took another payment of $164 out of my account. I need to cancel this plan immediately and get a refund for the last payment. Also I was never able to use the services they said would be provided this warranty. They would not accept it at my local Ford service department.
Desired outcome: Immediate cancellation of plan and refund of the last automatic payment.
My mother-in-law procured a warranty service from Paylink direct for her car some time ago
My mother-in-law procured a warranty service from Paylink direct for her car some time ago. My mother-in-law was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, so needless to say we are selling the car. We are now going through mom's bills and discovered a monthly service charge from paylink direct. I tried contacting this organization for details on what mom was paying for. I was informed my mother-in-law would have to call back or my wife who is the power of attorney (POA). My wife, who is POA, as well as my mother-in-law tried to call while being together to cancel this policy. This was unsuccessful. They were given a run around and then left on an indefinite hold. When I called back to get answers, I was then bounced around from representative to representative. I cannot even get an answer on what the policy covers. Furthermore, this organization is extremely unprofessional. The only option we have left is to report this charge to the credit card company as a scam or see if Complaintsboard.com can help get this policy canceled.

Filing on behalf of my elderly parents who received a "bill" from PayLink Direct for an unknown policy. They called and got a representative who told them the charge was in relation to a company called "Life View Home Warranty" which I cannot find a company that exists by that name. My parents deny ever having a policy from this company and I manage the household finances and policies and never heard of it.Thankfully they did not give information over the phone. Please stop these companies from these 'phishing' excursions. To be elderly is hard enough without them having to be continually scammed by companies like this.
5/02/2022 Was being charged monthly payments from this company. They took about $1,100 and was through monthly payments for a protection plan for my car that I already purchased through my car loan. Have several calls trying to cancel and the man fought me back and wouldnt cancel my payments. I finally was able to get all my card info off today. They sent me a contract that had a signature Per Phone. I never recalled this company calling me or even receiving the contract in the mail (which they said they sent out) and they had to email to me. I would just like a refund on the payments that I never agreed too but they wouldnt offer that.

Someone called my home, made me believe my vehicle warranty associated to my vehicle& loan
Someone called my home, made me believe my vehicle warranty associated to my vehicle& loan. They were not clear they were a third party and not affiliated to my original Loan. I was convinced to add coverage for warranty/upcoming potential repairs. I Have tried multiple times to have this canceled, REFUNDED and stopped however because i don't have enough information on who the company is using Pay link to obtain ACH funds from my bank and i don't have an account or contract number to provide anyone at Paylink - i get nowhere and continue to lose $129.09 each month. I am a disable Sr on a limited income, and this extra expense is often the difference on if i have enough money for a months living expenses and food, or i go with out. Paylink is obviously assisting the warranty company on making this difficult, as I have seen responses in Complaintsboard.com where Paylink had all the information available to them, and did not really need the customer to provide the account number. It was all availabel with personal information of the customer. Paylink refuses to assist in this so far.
I am pretty sure that I got scammed for a vehicle protection plan. $169.74.
My bank account has been charged for 4 months straight of *** to paylink vehicle plan. I did not authorize any of these withdrawals from my account I have never even heard of this company. I dont know how to stop these reoccurring charges that I did not authorize.
On 8/2, Paylink charged my bank account twice for $185 for home coverage insurance. When I called the company to let them know that I did not need this coverage and wanted the charge reversed, they kept repeating that "I called them." They kept giving me the run-around and would not listen to the fact that I do not need the coverage. I eventually hung up the phone and ended up contacting the bank directly to reverse the charges, which they did and issued a new card.
This company has a $175.59 withdrawal pending on my checking account. I have never heard of them or done any requests for work. They are obviously cheaters and thieves. I need to have this pending withdrawal removed from my checking account immediately. This company needs to be closed down. Thanks for your help.

I received a letter from them stating that I owe them ***? for my Jeep.I asked and then was told that they were trying to help me with my Jeep.I told them that my boyfriend paid it off 3 months later so what Help did I need? Then I was told that I brought my Jeep in for service Last March and that I had 900(?) miles on it. I laughed and told them that my Jeep hasn't been in for service since it left me lot! And I took it in in for service in November (really October) but I wasn't going to tell them that. Then it was said that I must not remember signing a contract with them. I asked, Who are you and what type of service do you provide? Then I was yelled at and told that I was not letting them explain. So I gave them ample time to explain but they kept digging a deeper hole for themselves or maybe they're Representative sucked. Either way they were wrong because I called my Insurance and were I purchased the Jeep and they said that they DON'T know this company and have NEVER dealt with them! So how can they try to charge me for anything? They're Representative was so unprofessional that

I contacted PayLink Direct and requested they cancel my policy in March 2022. The operator argued with me for some time trying to talk me out of canceling my policy. I explicitly told him that I wanted this policy canceled no and he finally said ok. I called the company back in June when I saw the statement and advised I wanted reimbursed. This operator told me to write a letter requesting a refund. This operator stated she canceled the policy this time. I went to the bank and made sure there were no further payments to PayLink. I sent the letter to the address on the web site and have not heard from anyone. I called back on August 16 2022 and this operator said I needed to send it to USAPS
I purchased a new truck in December . I received a letter in the mail a few months later stating my warranty was never activated and was about to expire. I called and they said they needed a card for a one time activation fee, nothing about a monthly payment of 168$. They also told me I would receive a booklet in the mail detailing my service plan . Of course I never received that either. Once I gave them my card I havent heard or received anything in the mail. Ive tried to call multiple times and cant get anyone on the phone. This company is a scam and will tell you anything including bold faced lies to get you to give them your card information. I need a refund of the money they have stolen from me as well as cancellation of this policy and removal of all my personal information and take me off the mailing list.
My mother is 89 years old. She has Alzheimer's disease. Her car is twenty years old. She does not need additional car repair insurance and has never used them. The paylink company is constantly harassing her for money. I have a documented power of attorney on file that I've sent to them but they continue to contact her. This morning I checked her account and a check has cleared her account for an unspecified amount; she has "donation" listed in the memo line. They need to stop preying on the elderly. Please intercede on her behalf. Thank you.
This company is preying on elderly and unsuspecting individuals
This company is preying on elderly and unsuspecting individuals. Upon detailed review of my 87-year old fathers financial records, I have discovered that Paylink has been taking automatic debits from his bank account in the amount of $125.10 since August 6! This amounts to $3,753 of unauthorized debits! Apparently it all began through a company called AutoAssure, which also took an unauthorized debit of $198 on July 9 that appears to have started this whole event. My father is on a fixed income and did not willingly or wittingly sign up for such auto warranty coverage, and has received no documentation of agreement to these debits. I believe this company is a scam and a sham and has deliberately deceived people into believing this so-called coverage was necessary and authorized by their car dealership. I have tried to call the *** numbers I have been able to find online, to no avail. I demand that Paylink be held accountable for this debit amount and issue a refund immediately, or legal action will ensue. Their practices of taking advantage of elderly individuals is deplorable!

I never signed up for any extended car warranty or authorized any money to come out of my bank account from this company or any extended car warranty company. I wish to recoup all monies taken out of my bank account. I first noticed this charge today which is 07/11/2022. It had been taken out on 7/05/2022. So I researched the company that took it out and it says paylink direct veh cov and upon researching I noticed quite a few people have been scammed out of monies. So I went back and checked all my bank statements from September till now and they started taking money out of my bank account since 11/04 and every month there after, with the most recent one of July 5, 2022. Which I can provide every statement except Julys banking statement because it hasnt been finished out yet obviously. Ive tried reaching out to the number on file to question the charges and its a continuous loop and no one answers. This is unlawful and my money needs to be refunded.
Recently I began receiving phone calls from a company called PayLink Direct saying that my account is past due and that I must pay $180.22 by 7-3-22 or risk losing coverage. The problem is I never signed up for this automobile coverage, I have never heard of this company, never signed a contract, etc. I checked my bank statement and 2 payments of $180.22 have already been deducted from my bank account ...in April 2022 and May 2022. Most recently I received a "past due notification" *** saying they will cancel or modify my coverage if I don't pay on or before 7-23-22. I think this company is a SCAM and I have no intention of paying them anything.I am an organized person and keep separate home files for everything so I keep track of all my bills, credit cards, bank accounts, insurance, health matters, etc and I have NOTHING for this company. I recently had major surgery and I am home recuperating, so I have had the time to look into this. Is there any way of getting my money back?
I have tried to cancel my extended warranty with paylink for a new truck that I purchased. After being told that I have to pay as a processing fee $99 to cancel the extended warranty I did and was reassured paylink wouldnt be withdrawing any more money from my bank account. The next month they charge me $145 for a new warranty they signed me up for with out my knowledge and still continue to charge me for the original policy that was supposed to be canceled .
I have Power of Attorney for my elderly mother
I have Power of Attorney for my elderly mother. It came to my attention that my mother's debit card number was being fraudulently charged $257.50. The company name shown in the account is PayLink. I contacted Paylink who would not help me but forwarded my call to Liberty Auto Protection who claims to have sold my elderly mother a service contract. They would not assist me on the phone because of an alleged fraudulent contract with my mother and want proof that I have Power of Attorney before talking with me. The jerk from Liberty Auto Protection (aka Palmer Administrative Services) hung up on me. The bank has already blocked the card but my mother has been charged $257.50 every month since November. Aren't there laws against preying on the elderly? I will also be contacting Ohio's Attorney General's office about this matter since they won't speak with me. A legitimate business would not treat people like this nor would they steal from the elderly. I will also note that I already filed a report against Palmer Administrative Services or Liberty Auto Protection or whatever the company's name is. Companies like these should be ashamed for preying on the elderly.
Received a phone call about providing extra coverage for my car for repairs
Received a phone call about providing extra coverage for my car for repairs. I stated that in the past they told me my car had too many miles. *** man on the phone asked me what the miles were and I told him, he told me no problem it would be covered. I proceeded to Take out the coverage for my 2008 vehicle. I gave him a down payment and they were to send me information in the mail. I did receive the information but later than when he told me it should arrive by. When I read through the information it stated that the vehicle had to have less than 200 or *** miles I dont recall exactly *** amount of miles. ***y have sent a cancellation because I would not pay for the next installments due to when I received his papers in the mail for the actual coverage he lied about the amount of miles on my vehicle. I knew if I tried to take it in for repairs at a dealership or a repair shop to have pay link pay for the coverage that was supposed to be covered they would not due to the mileage discrepancy. I am asking that Id be refunded the original amount I had paid due to the rep falsifying the actual mileage in which would have canceled and voided the agreement any way.

We recently bought a new car and paid for the warranty with the dealership
We recently bought a new car and paid for the warranty with the dealership. We received fraudulent mail stating we had to call and activate our warranty, during the phone call they demanded we pay $199.75 as a "starting fee" for our warranty. I asked questions and they refused to be helpful, stating I had to pay the money or our warranty would be canceled. They claimed we would receive a booklet in the mail in 2 weeks with our "warranty information" which did not happen. They also claimed this fee would cover us for 6 months, but now am getting charged another $199.75 as of July 1st. I called our car dealership who immediately stated this was a scam and to report it ASAP because we pay for our car warranty with our car payment. We want a complete cancellation of this "plan", removal of all my personal data from their company, and a full refund from 6/01 for $199.75, as well as for this upcoming month which is to be charged 7/1. This is a shameful company taking advantage of people who do not know any better using fear tactics as leverage. I called to complain but was hung up on and ignored. Please address ASAP before we have to take further legal action. They misrepresented themselves as *** which is illegal!

I, ***, am Power of Attorney for Peggy
I, ***, am Power of Attorney for Peggy. I am filing this complaint on Peggy's behalf. It's regarding Contract # ***. This company along with another company just like them have been charging Peggy's account for a vehicle protection plan. I also plan to file a complaint against them too. The books look the same: "Ultimate Auto Protection". Peggy is older and has Alzheimer's, does not drive anymore, thus no car on the road. Anyone who talks to her would realize in no time she is not of sound mind. Yet these people have managed to call her and trick her out of her card information for a warranty in which she doesn't need. Deceptive Practices. They started charging her account and have been charging $279.00 a month. Peggy never signed a contract with them and never signed a credit card direct pay authorization form with them. They have no right to be charging her. In order to enter into a contract a person has to be of sound mind, right? That's law 101. As I said before anyone who talks with her for any length of time would see she has memory problems. They have taken advantage and its an expensive advantage. I would think this would also fall as Elder Abuse. These sales people just continue to badger you with phone calls.
Around the 1st of September, I received a very official looking Final Notice of my auto warranty expiring
Around the 1st of September, I received a very official looking Final Notice of my auto warranty expiring. I finally called the number to get more information as I had purchased the used vehicle 6 months ago. The representative made it perfectly clear this was regarding my car (make & model) I purchased 6 months ago. I questioned the representative about the "expiring soon" warranty having been handled by the car dealership. The representative said the dealership doesn't activate the warranty. He said I was supposed to have done that myself therefore the warranty was expiring in a few days. That scared me as I need the extended warranty on my used car. The cost to activate was $183.14. Not only did I fall for the activation fee, the representative said NOTHING about the same fee being charged to my credit card monthly. The scam continues as I have not received any information from the actual warranty company - only a bill from Pay Link Direct which is NOT the warranty company but a billing service. SKY AUTO PROTECTION flat out lied!I filed a fraud report with my credit card company. First *** of *** rejected my fraud claim because I participated in the transaction. How can I fight this fraud? I have yet to receive anything documentation from SKY AUTO PROTECTION.

My car has recently been totaled and I called them explaining that my car has been totaled
My car has recently been totaled and I called them explaining that my car has been totaled. The lady proceeded to catch an attitude on the phone and kept talking over me every time I tried to talk. The problem is that I've received a phone call from who I thought was them telling me about my extended warranty on the car. I proceeded to tell them that I no longer have the car due to it being totaled and the lady said okay and hung up. Come to find out that PayLink Direct took money out of my account yesterday. Now the other issues is that I've changed my debit card and that there is no possible way that they could have gotten the new information for it. I told the lady on the phone "if the payment was due on the 13 why would you take money out on the 19" and she explained that the business automatically took it out on their own without my permission. I honestly just want my money back and I might be filling for a law suit because how did they get my new debit card information if I haven't given it to them? Also I'd like to add that on the receipt that I have it says total amount due is $175.99 and they took out 184.37. I also have a receipt on January 13th saying that the billing information that I gave them was incorrect and that is when I got a new debit card but then the next day I got a receipt from them saying payment was made when I didnt make one.

04/02/2022 The complaintsboard.com,I am questioning how PAYLINK got my *** Card information, since I never contacted or gave them the authority to make payments using my *** Card on my behalf. I can only suspect that *** gave them the *** Card information without my permission.I had purchased a protection plan for my 2019 Chevrolet Bold from *** on 03/14/2022 over the phone and gave them my *** Card information. When I received the Contract # EVRVSCA1019901A from *** on 03/28/2022 in the mail, I immediately called them to cancel the contract (one month allowed to cancel the contract) and followed up by sending a cancellation letter the same day and included the contract *** had sent me after making a photocopy. I thought that was the end of this contract. But today when I received a letter from PAYLINK dated 03/29/2022 letting me know that they will start processing payments to *** on 4/14 and that my Billing Account # with *** is *** you let me know how PAYLINK can be stopped for using my *** Card to make payments to *** or anyone else without my permission? 2.How can I be assured that the contract with *** is cancelled, and they cannot use my *** Card. Thanks for your attention,*** tel.

My mother, who has dementia, cannot make decisions for herself
My mother, diagnosed with dementia, cannot make decisions for herself. I have two doctor's notes confirming this. In April , a company called my mother and pressured her into buying an unnecessary policy. Her policy started on 4/6 with a monthly charge of $149.83 from her bank account. My Aunt has power of attorney for my mother too. I canceled the policy through PayLink, which appears on her bank statement. They confirmed the cancellation by email, but it deceptively indicated another step was needed to cancel the policy, which is easy to overlook. Despite cancellation, her account was charged again today. Contacting PayLink led to being forwarded to another company, where I encountered a very rude representative. He insulted my understanding of an email he sent. I demand a full refund of $1,648.13 for my mother and policy cancellation. It's unacceptable for companies to exploit vulnerable individuals, and the disrespect I faced when seeking resolution was appalling. My mother no longer even owns the car.

Despite paying $2400, my car is still in the shop with a faulty thermostat and other issues.
They were supposed to cover costly repairs, but my car is still in the shop with a faulty thermostat and radiator hose not covered due to a leaking seal. The warranty company threatened me with cancellation during a pandemic despite timely payments. They won't pay for a rental car promptly, only offering $75 for towing which is insufficient. My car has a leak and gasket issues, causing white smoke and a wet substance, presumably coolant. After six years of loyalty, they're failing me as a customer; my car's repairs are on hold until they respond, and I'm unlikely to get a rental. I'm frustrated with Paylink Policyholders and want them to cover the thermostat and its hoses, as well as the leaking gasket.

I'm filing this for my 74-yr-old mother
I'm filing this for my 74-yr-old mother. She was contacted by phone by a car warranty company, was talked into buying a warranty plan and began making payments. Realizing that this service wasn't something she wanted or needed, she contacted the company to cancel. They would not cancel, after being told several times that she no longer wanted to pay $100 per month. When she consulted with my sister and me, we told her to go to her bank and cancel the card that was being debited. She did the next morning, and shortly after she began receiving calls on a daily basis that her account was past due. She ignored them at first, but decided to get on the phone with them thinking that this could hurt her credit (It can't.). She was transferred to a man named *** who, when asked if he was an honest person, told her, "I was a Marine..." I don't care if this Marine caught *** Bin Laden with his pinky finger. He's no kind of honest if he wants to manipulate my elderly mother who is struggling with memory issues, and living on a fixed income. Instead of taking NO for an answer, *** continued to manipulate her until she was worn down and agreed to a lower payment. She gave him her new debit card info. They began taking payments from her again on 2/18/22. She confided in my sister and myself that this had happened, and that she felt really stupid. Based on the other complaints against this company, she is far from alone. I went with my mom to her bank yesterday to help her cancel that card. I will be calling local police, filing a separate complaint against the specific warranty company that has been taking advantage of not only my mom, but many other elderly and vulnerable people. Paylink Direct may only process payments, and they can respond with a "Don't shoot the messenger" claim. But based on the many complaints here, this company should know better and take responsibility for the harm being caused to many others in a similar position as my mom.

According to Paylink, on December , they began drawing $234.00 out of my husbands checking account
According to Paylink, on December , they began drawing $234.00 out of my husbands checking account. He noticed the $234 00 in July because it threw his account in the negative. First contact with Paylink on 7/22/22 and spoke with *** I explained my husband including myself was totally unaware of Paylink, who they are and what they do. I explain that they were actually drawing money from my husbands checking account and it needs to be returned. The Rep. starts to point out the benefits of keeping this coverage. He also informed me that the money had been coming out of the account since Dec. I explained that I didnt agree on any car coverage or speak with anyone about car coverage. The rep. then informed me it was a man that they spoke with. I stated that me or my husband knew anything about this coverage and that we had coverage with the company we bought the car from. We are senior citizens and I have been back and forth in the hospital and nursing home with surgeries and rehab. I repeatedly asked for a refund. He then stated, he had the actual recording of my husband giving his account information. But, later stated the recording had been placed in the archives. He also read out my email address and asked if it was correct, which it was. I explain to the rep. that I wanted the money placed back into the account. I told him it was not authorized and it was a fraudulent transaction. He called me hostile and stated he was trying to help me save money. He said I needed to listen and not cut him off while he is talking. Again, I informed the rep. the only reason for this call was to replace the money that was taken out of the account! He stated he wanted to help me but, since I dont need the coverage I can get a pro-rated refund because, I have used the coverage since December and that I will receive a form that will need to be filled out. This is my husbands account, which my name is not on. My is not Kat, My husband actual name was never mentioned
