Damage during chip repair by the technician
I went to pg glass in centurion fitment centre, where I wanted to have my vehicle windscreen chip repair.Instead I got a huge crack on the windscreen, and they told me I signed for the damage. How possible is that, that I can give away my windscreen. The damage is huge that I felt they must be responsible for. Now they using this terms and conditions to destroy our vehicles.
I am really disgusted and I trully would not recommend anyone to get their vehicle fixed at pg glass. They do not care about our things, they just looking for money. How can one destroy your asset and do not want to be accountable for. I feel their terms and conditions is really covering them for destroying our vehicle, and do not care about their customers.
Desired outcome: I would prefer my windscreen to be replaced,at another PG glass not in centurion.They already lost a customer there .

I phoned the mobile contact centre and went to the Menlyn Branch.After 3 days they phoned me to order the windscreen.pg glass asked for my reg. number and vehicle details. I waited over a week for the windscreen,when they arrive for the installation after a week,they say it's the wrong windscreen.Vin number does not match?WHAT!?Ag nee man..I took the whole day off for this installation!PATHETIC!Now I have to hope that someone will phone me back.

Glass to be cut to size
Good Morning
We are very unhappy with you Vredenburg branch the service is poor
Today is Saturday 11:34 and they are Closed hours states till 12
We were in contact with an Employer at the Vredenburg branch via WhatsApp requesting glass to be be cut for us as we are busy with repairs at home
the only time that we do have to put the glass in was yesterday and today as my husband is leaving for a business trip and we are women alone at home
NOW we are sitting with a front door and bathroom window with now glass and this leaves us exposed to crime
this is the conversation via WhatsApp and pics that was send and we received the total opposite
the WhatsApp clearly states sizes ( we live 30km from Vredenburg
So the drive there yesterday collecting the wrong glass and the drive there today to stand at a closed door
I would really like someone to contact me as 200km and petrol wasted and yet still no glass
My husband is only back on Wednesday and i am scared to be at home as all is open with no Glass thanks to PG glass Vredenburg

I did visit PG Glass Shelly Beach Margate.
A windscreen claim was launched with reference number 4392034 during March 2022. Via m y Assurance CIB
I had done my home work and a windscreen was available from agents in "Pine Town [protected]. (To be imported)
This information was given to PG Glass Shelly Beach.
I di received a phone call today from PG Glass Shelly Beach that they can not found a windscreen.
I did again phone the Agents Kia in Pine Town. Spoken to Aaqib Essop [protected] no order was placed with them for a windscreen. The windscreen is still available @ R10900 plus VAT. Importation 6-8 weeks.
This is unacceptable. Please investigate.

Windscreen Replacement
My insurance authorized my claim for windscreen replacement with PG glass Krugersdorp on the 30th of March 2022 to date I am still waiting for the glass to be replaced. I have been speaking to a consultant who has never bothered to give me any updates or eta for the glass delivery and installation. I always have call and follow up and the feedback I get from them does not seem to be the true reflection of what is happening in the background. sometimes their phones just go unanswered. the vehicle in question is being sold to a car dealer and they are unable to finalize the transaction because of the windscreen which is resulting in me incurring extra costs because of the vehicle finance instalments that I must maintain with each month passing. the worst part is that I was never even informed/warned about this delay despite my efforts in tracking progress with them, all I have been told is that the glass was going to be installed the following week till today. what a terrible service and dishonest service providers, this is unprofessional, disappointing, and frustrating.
Desired outcome: I want my glass delivered and installed today.
Window Replacement
Poor service in general. Firstly, I was made false promises with the delivery of the window itself. It took 3.5 business working days to be delivered.
Now, I've been waiting for 3hours for a window replacement.

Morning, I have a Insurance claim for another windscreen to be fitted, and we nearing 2 weeks now. Once someone phoned me, and I'm still waiting after nearly 2 weeks. Car windows installation
I loged a complaint at PG glass polokwane on 10/01/2022. Still nobody assisted me with glass that was fitted very badley on to my car. Quality of work that was done is very bad. Window rubbers cut incorectly and alot of water leaking into the car when its raining. The Glass neet to be taken out refitted correctly and the new rubbers that was bought and damaged in the prosess needs to be replaced at PG glass expence and not myne

Poor installment of replacement windscreen .
Hi, I contacted my insurance two fays ago to replace my Hyundai SantaFe damaged windscreen. They asked detail including VIN nr off vehicle.
I was quite surprised to be informed that the replacement can be done at my house in my comfort as I am recovering after hip replace surgery.
The PG Glass team arrived at my house in Sasolburg and started with the job.
When they finished I made the required excess payment as required by Outsurance. All looked to be ok and I waited the required time for glue to dry, before moving the car into the garage.
After having a rest I inspected the installation closely. I realized that there was
1) a big gap between top screen where it joins the roof!
2) I saw the bottom of the windscreen that the rubbers wasn't properly in place,
3) and the the re-fitting of plastics in engine bay at wipers still loose.
That's what I could see as a non professional installer technician.
I'm very disappointed in the final outcome.
I will be at Vanderbijlpark PG Glass 1st thing tomorrow to CORRECT the faulty installation. I hope that this mail finds you well and this issue can be can addressed.
As you can see the time of the complaint you can imagine how it bothered me !

Frameless shower
PG Glass — Frameless shower I had a frameless shower installed by the Bronkhorstspruit PG. There were three consultations to be sure we were on the same page. When they were installing I expressed my unhappiness with the placement of the stabilization bar. I was ignored. The bar serves no purpose where it is placed. It messes with the aesthetics of the whole shower. And we went frameless for this whole purpose. Absolutely disgusting. The previous shower had no stabilization bars. And was perfect for more than 7 years Then when I complained I was told they didn't have all the parts necessary to install finished. They would be back. They then returned and completed the installation The placement of the corner shelves was not where we agreed on. The door and side panels are not level. The bottom does not seal so it leaks. The door does not close properly so also leaks. The big side panel bows. It is not level. The hinges on the door are not level. The corner shelves are unstable and have come down. Nothing is correct Yesterday I opened the door to shower and the corner shelf came crashing down I am very unhappy. I want my money back. The agent agreed to come remove it and refund me. But then came and moved the silver drip rail on the floor and left. I feel that there should be a reimbur*****t for the holes in my tiles and the constant cleaning in the bathroom. The floor is wood and damaged If this shower comes down who is liable. And I have tried to sort this Surely it is not my job to QC a professionals job I used a so called leader in the glass field. This is rubbish The shower was by a few thousand rand more expensive than the next competitor.
It is so bad now that i cannot ope the door. I fear it is going to fall over and hurt one of us. And then I have spent R16k and have to pay to have my floor fixed and a new shower and worse a ER incident with a child
After talking to Giocomo. My husband instructed them to remove it and refund us. He arrived . Set the door and left
The side panel is bowed. The front panel is loose
The shelves only have two bolts so come out and offer no structural assistance
The hinges and not level
The stabilization bar is no use. And an ugly fixture
The spout comes out the ceiling
If the bar is important it needs to be closer to the glass panel not across the middle in two places
The door is saying the hinges are not level
The side water proofing leaks now after he set the door.
Not to mention the damage to the wooden floors
This is really a worry

Call centre
Firstly, I have been holding on forever, at my air time expense, to get someone to answer my call. Eventually after at least 1/2 hour I get through and book an appointment 2 days in advance. I ask specifically if your guys could come and quote on a couple of broken/cracked windows in my home at 9.30 today as I had another appointment at 11.00 and they said they'd try their best, latest would be 10.00. It's now an hour later and still nobody's pitched (and I had to miss my appointment). I phoned to complain only to be told I have the incorrect reference number. Well when I booked, I repeated the reference number to the consultant and was told it was correct. I had to hold for a further 10-15 minutes as they were putting me through to someone else who could help me - and of course, I put down as I had to go out. You guys have wasted 3 hours of my time waiting for someone to turn up to quote. One would think that every bit of business opportunity, in these times, one would grab.
I cannot believe the shocking service that is provided by PG Glass, which used to be such a top class business. So disappointing that the standards have not been maintained and have dropped below zero.
Windscreen replacement
My reference number is 4257622. It's over a month since I made a claim for my windscreen replacement and I'm still waiting. I'm even afraid to drive this car now. I was told to wait until the 19th of November, which was almost a month - this I have never heard before. But I waited patiently. Now I'm being told, the windscreen is not ready and no one knows exactly when will this get resolved. It is getting unsafe to drive this car now with such a windscreen.
Urgently please advise what should I do!

Mobile unit - replacement of back windscreen on a VW
Hi
I am receiving horrible service from PG glass Montague in Cape Town (Mobile Unit). After providing my VIN number and details regarding my car and backscreen window, the mobile unit STILL rocked up at my house with the incorrect back windscreen window.
To top it all off I have now been told that VW back screen window without the wiper will cost me a total of R4300, 100% more than the previously suggested price.
I have called PG Glass over 7 times since Saturday (13th November 2021), sent emails and provided details regarding my car and window and yet they cannot deliver.
This is the worst most atrocious service ever How can a back windscreen for a VW Polo hatchback 2011 Vivo cost R4300? I was told this by the consultant.
Desired outcome: They need to be reprimanded and taken to task .
Frameless shower

On the 20/09/2021 I went to PG Glass in Kathu and paid for the installation of new windows for my house. To date 28/09/2021 I am still waiting for them to come and install the windows. I called them on the 24/09/2021 to enquire about the delay and I was promised that they will send someone out immediately which never happened. Yesterday 27/09/2021 I drove to the premises to find out when I can expect the installation and again they acted surprised that someone hadn't been to my house to do the job and again asked me if I'm going home immediately and they will be sending someone behind me. I'm still waiting this is such unprofessional and dishonest service.
Desired outcome: I want my money to be returned or they need to honour their contractual obligation and do what I have paid them to do.

I had a problem with my windscreen and my insurance momentum charged me a access fee of R500, the guys from pg glass came to my house to fit the windscreen, to my surprise they charged me double on their speed point machine. Now it's a hustle to get back my refund. I've spoken to a lady by the name of Yvette who promised me that the refund will be processed within a week, it's over 3weeks now no refund was made into my account. Now they are even ignoring my calls.. BAD SERVICE I MUST SAY

I am complaining of my windscreen which was not replaced however as per my insurance company PG glass has already been paid for the invoice. This is not ethical and need to be reported to hello peter. Its two week and I received a ticket from the traffic department in a road block regarding my windscreen. Window Tinting
My vehicle was taken to PG Glass in Paarl on 16 July 2021 for window tinting.
After completion I collected the vehicle and drove to TyreMart to obtain a quotation for tires. The vehicle did not want to lock using the remote buttons on the key. I phoned PG Paarl and asked what could be wrong.
I went back to them, but the team was not available. I said its fine let me test the spare key at home. Went home and tested it, also did not work.
I informed PG Paarl that it did not work, they said they will let me know when the team is back. Later they contacted me and, on the way, there the check engine light came on. I informed PG Paarl that I will have to drive through to Mercedes as the vehicle's check engine light came on and it was misfiring.
The vehicle was at Mercedes till the next Friday when I collected it.
Only then I realised the radio is also not working as I was listening to a CD on the day the vehicle went for Window tinting. I phoned Mercedes and they said I can bring the vehicle in to check. Because we had prior arrangements, I took the vehicle back the next week. I then informed Mercedes that the vehicle went for window tinting, the service advisor then said but that could be an issue to the amplifiers for the radio antenna and central locking situated in the rear door on the glass. Any water could damage that. This risk was never highlighted to me by PG PAARL.
I took the vehicle in, and they confirmed the amplifiers where damaged.
Mercedes reached out to PG PAARL, indicating the replacement cost.
The manager wrote a very unprofessional email dismissing my claim.
I have asked them to assist with the cost and provide the so call video clip they had of when they tinted my vehicle.
