ive had pioneer for 25 years now my only complaint is i ask for a cetain tech to clean and tune up my furnace and im promised who i asked for this is the second time they sent someone different than promised without telling me why i couldnt get the tech i asked for dosent sound like much but it makes me want to shop around for a new company

My experience tells me that Pioneer puts the best interests of its customer first. As just one example, when I needed a new hot water system, Joe Germain suggested a hybrid electric model even though the company sells oil and offers oil fired versions. (I followed the suggestion, and the unit works fine.) The above is just one example of their service. - Larry C. Spongberg

I've been a customer of Pioneer Oil and Propane for many many years. I've had a furnace and oil tank replaced by them at my previous home. I also had a oil tank replaced by them at my present home. The have also been cleaning and servicing my furnaces and delivering oil for a long time. They are always professional and friendly on the phone and in person. Good company to do business with.

Customer for over 26 years, most expensive prices in Central Massachusetts even with the cash discount. Earlier this year delivery truck drove off the edge of the driveway, damaging it. Pioneer denied it and eventually their insurance company paid for it. Never got an apology. They used to be a great family owned business for many, many years. Now they are corporate America at it's worst. The service techs are fantastic, no personable qualities in their customer service.

We have been using Pioneer Oil since we moved to Paxton in 1998. We have had nothing but excellent service from them from the oil deliveries that are promptly made to the annual cleaning that we have done (and THEY keep track and call us when it's due). Anytime I've called with general questions, I have always been spoken to with the utmost respect and always get an answer. I can't think of a single thing that I've had trouble with using Pioneer Oil. I highly recommend them!

I recently had a few emergencies after my burner failed to start. They kept coming even in the night to fix the problem. Finally after the three who replaced parts they believed were defective, a man came who was the "guru"of oil furnaces. He couldn't find anything that was obvious so he methodically went through every connection...stripped wires and reconnected...actually "fine-tuned"my furnace and since that time no more problems. I highly recommend this company...been with them for years...
