Pirate Kings™ Just a grab for money

I’ll start by being honest- I only downloaded this game for the reward in another game for completing the third island. After doing so, here’s my opinion:

It is so boring. All you do is spin a wheel. Everything else is gated behind higher islands that take more and more money to upgrade and advance.

Out of curiosity, I started an excel file to track each spin to see if the 10 position wheel was truly random or fully rigged. FULLY RIGGED. Of the 303 spins I catalogued, here are my distributions: (Note that if they were all truly random, they’d all get closer and closer to 10% for each option)

1k/2.5k: 49 spins, 16.2%
5k:52 spins, 17.2%
10k/12k:68 spins, 22.4%
25k:45 spins, 14.9%
50k:15 spins, 5.0%
100k:22 spins, 7.3%
Steal:18 spins, 5.9%
Attack:22 spins, 7.3%
Defend:12 spins, 4.0%
Spins:0 spins, 0.0%

In 303 spins, I did not land on the extra spins section ONCE. The wheel will just keep ticking past each option ever so slowly until it lands on what the game thinks will keep you invested in more spins, rarely giving you that hit of 100k to make you think you’re making any progress. All in all, it took me two weeks with no money spent to get through the first 3 islands. No more, I’m out.

Pirate Kings™ Fun at First

This game is fun at first, but becomes increasingly frustrating the longer you play. I have several friends who used to play but have already quit. One quit because she couldn't ever get enough shields to protect herself. Another quit because every time she would get close to saving enough money to level up, it would get stolen, even if she was actively playing. IDK the reasons for others.
Oddly enough, I'm glad they've all quit. This game is EASIER if your friends aren't playing. Why would I invite others to play just so they can regularly steal from me and attack me? It doesn't make sense.
Suggestions-
1. Create some sort of disable button so friends can opt out of attacking each other and stealing from each other IF they wish. Maybe let us choose to send loot to a friend. Let us be allies, not enemies.
2. Create an incentive other than extra coins for inviting and having friends to play, like being able to send shields in excess of 3 to friends in need, instead of letting the extra shields just fall into the water.
3. Limit the amount that can be stolen at one time from one person, and within a certain time period. One of the most frustrating things is that others seem to regularly steal 3M+ from me, but I almost never get the opportunity to steal more than 1.4M from anyone, and certainly not as much as 2M.

Pirate Kings™ Rest itself

Ugh. Pirate Kings WAS so much fun and addicting until the stupid thing reset itself! I never did anything to it except play! I saw a little blue dot next to the app, pirate kings and I didn't know what it meant, so I ignored it. Then, last night I was bold enough to click on pirate kings and it says, welcome to pirate kings! And I clicked on it nervously and what do ya know, my oasis dreams island with everything but to things to buy before I leveled up was gone. Gone, gone, gone and gone. I nearly through my iPad across the room for being so stupid! When I downloaded the app I wasn't crazy for but I kept playing because my friend told me to download it so I though that I should play. A little while later my friend lost everything and she was working on the forth to last island! She warned me to delete it while I could because I didn't really care for it and I didn't. I then got addicted and really loved the game but it betrayed me just like my friend said . This has also happened to my other friend. This has actually happened now to three out of the five people I know with the app! That is just sad. Sadly I also know that my island is stuck some where because I still get the notifications saying so some one damaged one of your island items! And anyways sorry for the long thingy but please read it and forward this to your friends with the app

Pirate Kings™ Get you hooked and take your money!

Whoever give this game even a 3 stars either are this company's people or haven't played enough! Like some people here mentioned, this game was a little fun at first but as you progress, the game's getting harder (of course) but to the point that it's impossible to build your island withou having to spend money or cheating. Most people here already explained how the game is getting impossible to get even close to the last level so I don't want explain again. What make it worse is, when I worked hard enough to have enough money to collect another item, someone attacked or stole my cash just right before I hit a button to buy a new item but through out the day, nobody attacked or tried to steal my cash! Secondly, let say an item cost $2,000,000 and you had $1,990,000 and you're out of spins. Most people don't want to leave it there for so long before you have another free 5 spins in an hour because someone might steal it from you so we would thing "What the heck, it's only $0.99 or $1.99" Well, for me, during the time I played this game, I spent probably about $50 and I've been just barely half way thru! With that $50, it could have been used for a lot more useful games or apps! Well, it's never too late to stop this addiction, so good thing I stopped (but only after I spent about $50 playing this game) So be warned to those that just started playing this game!

Pirate Kings™ Nice aesthetics, boring gameplay

I’ve been playing the game for about a week and haven’t had any technical issues while playing. The art style is fun and quirky with each new island you arrive at having a different theme. Unfortunately the pets, boats and structures you buy for the island are the only fun/interesting things about the game. The gameplay revolves around pushing a red button to spin the prize wheel which 80% of the time lands on trash prizes and you can see how the game is intentionally made that way, this wouldn’t be so bad, but the fact that you have a limited amount of spins and the only way to get more is to wait it out or buy them with real cash which would have to be the biggest waste of money seeing as how the wheel will intentionally give you terrible spins (watch the wheel spin it will either slow down and go more than normal or stop before it normally would right before you get something good). Other than the occasional cannon you get to shoot at another player’s island (which you don’t even get to shoot yourself) there is no interaction with other players. As others have pointed out saving up your money can have terrible consequences as players can steal your money and vice versa, making spending money on the game even more beneficial to other players so they can take your stuff. Overall, the game works as it is intended to, the art style is fun and the graphics aren’t half bad, but the gameplay is mindless and overall boring. I wouldn’t recommend this game to any gamer, but maybe to my grandma.

Pirate Kings™ Disappointed

I downloaded this game for offers on another game. I instantly got addicted, and even started getting other players addicted. Then I noticed that switch to 1x 2x or 10x was changed before I even logged in. I wouldgo from 50 spins to 40 with one spin, and no, as stated on there page, it doesn’t add up to more, I watched. At times, I can’t even get to $1M with 50 spins. (Which most pieces you have to buy for each island cost much more than that). I’ve had issues for almost 48 hours where it would show a number of spins left but refuse to let me spin again, with a pop up stating that I would need to purchase 30 spins for $1.99. I understand and expect that glitches will happen, but when there’s a constant inability to even be able to spin forlong lengths of time, that’s a big issue. One though that obviously isn’t q concern for support, only for me. Why care about those who are supporting and/or sharing your game, though right?! Yet, regardless of contact through website, app support, or even social media, I’m apparently unworthy of a response. I truly wanted to keep this game after completing what I needed for the offer I initially downloaded it for, but the support (or lack thereof) alone makes me want to quit even before I get to complete that. If they truly wanted to keep people playing, they’d listen. Other reviewers have stated that the support didn’t help them... Though, I guess they should be happy they were even replied to. I guess I haven’t paid in/purchased enough to deserve a reply or a fix to my issues :/

Pirate Kings™ Seriously? We know math!

I’m confident that I’m speaking for all of the players here when I say the wheel is rigged and not in our favor at all. Now I don’t want to sound like a whiny b*itch or a poor sport, but do you guys have to make it so obvious to us? Here’s why...the wheel is divided up in 10 individual slots (no 2 are the same), so when we’re spinning the wheel to obtain our goods, money, extra spins, steals, attacks, shields, etc., the odds or percentage of that wheel stopping on the same slot over and over and over again, day after day are mathematically inconceivable dudes! In fact , there is a 90% chance that it will stop on a completely different slot, obviously! So occasionally it will stop on a slot with a decent reward, but here’s the best part, it NEVER has repeatedly stopped on the same decent reward twice in a row! Now remember what I said about it stopping on the same crappy reward multiple times in a row! BACK to back! Clearly we’re getting cheated out of stuff every single time we spin your wheel because it’s rigged. I understand that it’s the nature of the game to a point, but come on! Cut us a break here. At least let us occasionally land on a good reward more often or back to back. At times I’ll have 80 spins available to use (or more)and out of those 80 spins I was lucky if I even landed on the big kahuna at all. 80 spins! But yet the wheel will stop on the crappiest reward 5 or more times in a ROW! Like I said, I’m speaking for everyone here. So if you’re a player and you read this review, please help us all out by letting the developers know that you feel this way too! WE’RE NOT BLIND NOR OBLIVIOUS TO THE SCANDALOUS PLOT! So stop cut us a freakin break once in a while~geeesh!

Pirate Kings™ Not gonna lie, it’s pretty fun!

I don’t ever play games anymore, but I downloaded this one in the midst of filling out a sweepstakes form just for the heck of it & I’m not gonna lie...this game has turned out to be pretty fun! It’s got a cute theme to it & the developers really put some thought into the different layers of this storyline. Long story short, these guys/gals did a great job of giving a meaning to all of the different aspects of the game, making those interact with each other multidimensionally & showing that extra attention to detail on every little detail so that each thing that happens within this game has an actual purpose for its existence! It’s something that deserves appreciation and if you give this game a test run there’s a strong possibility that you’ll extend that into a fun little hobby...or an obsession! Either way, it’ll be fun! Go on now... give it a try!

(Disclaimer: I am not a paid actor or someone that represents the company in any way on any level. I’m just a guy that appreciates when people actually give a $#!+ about what they do for a living & they go that extra mile to combine their passion & skills to ensure that the work they churn out doesn’t just end up being the best that they can possibly deliver on the project, it turns out to be something that impresses with every press, swipe, click, flick & tap, as well as, the momentary pause between all of the above to sit with fingers crossed as you hope for the best result to come out of each of those moves. So again, not paid...just thought these guys deserved the words of praise.)

You gotta give credit where credit is due ya know? Give it a try and you’ll see what I mean! Then when you see what I’m talking about, do these guys a favor and come back here to show them some love!

Pirate Kings™ The Real Pirates Stealing From You Are The Developers

If you’re thinking about getting this game here’s some things you should know first:
1) You WILL have to spend money to advance in this game.
2) The developers purposely rig this games extra challenges(ie the ones where you need bombs) so that your spins will magically never land on things you need the closer you get to finishing it.
3) There’s always glitches with their “special promotions.” So even when you pay real money for spins/money, hundreds of spins(after you spin the first time) and millions of dollars(when you open the island shop) will disappear(and not from other pirates stealing). Judging by my own experience and the experiences of others on their Facebook page, you will never see these spins or the millions of gold again. Classic bait and switch tactic, definitely very pirate-like.
4) As you play, the items on the island get much more expensive. And also as you play, the more money you have on hand makes you a huge target, or what PK calls “Cash King.” Sure, as you’re on the earlier islands, you can plan ahead and purchase quickly, but as costs rise, unless you spend money, with a 50 spin cap(which takes 10hrs to fill), you get robbed and attacked more and it’s even harder to recover.

In conclusion, I still play this game often. My friends and I do enjoy the fun of stealing and attacking each other on PK. But now that we know the game is so fraught with glitches and all around shady behavior on the developers part for not making things right EVER, even for its top spenders and daily players, the shine has worn off. Instead we have daily conversations about “how PK’s screwed us today.” It’s like PK is that friend one friend that’s a mess that everyone has, but it’s mildly entertaining to watch them be messy and talk about it.

Pirate Kings™ I will add stars after my matter is resolved

I enjoy this game very much, but I was recently ripped off and that is not a fun experience. I sent an email to the developer and this is a portion of it explaining my problem:

Dear Developer,

I have spent over $200 on your game in the last two months. I have attached the receipts for proof. Your prices are somewhat ridiculous but you have the right to charge what you please and I chose to pay. I enjoy your game very much.

However, I did not receive some spins that I won in the game. I will not continue to buy spins when the ones I earned were not given to me. Here is what happened:

I finally, after many hours and over $200, finished the Island Tales album. I was then given the option of starting the album over. At that point, I had 725 stars from duplicate cards. It said I would receive 900 spins in exchange. I happily clicked the button and was then showed a message that said, “something went wrong” and I was not given my spins. I still lost my stars. Saying sorry something glitched is not adequate. I waited to see if my stars or spins would show up after 24 hours. They have not. I will not spend another dime until I am given some form of reimbursement.

This is not the first time “something went wrong” and I wasn’t awarded something I earned, but it is the first time I am not going to deal. I’d like this to be a 5 star review—it’s obvious from how much I spent that I enjoy the game. But, I need to be respected. Hopefully I will hear something soon!

Update: my email was rejected because the email address on their website does not exist. Big scam and I feel like an idiot. Do not get this game! You can’t contact anybody when you aren’t given what you earned or payed for. The help site even suggests you contact them after 24 hours if you haven’t been given your prize because they “take it seriously”—but it offers NO CONTACT INFORMATION!

Pirate Kings™ Bad Customer Service

PK I never do this. I fact I hate doing this. I think your game is fun. I enjoy it very much. But I have had some things happen and nothing has gotten resolved. I even let a few things slide but now I just can’t...let me start off saying that I understand the further you get the more hard things should get, I get that. But when you make it to where you are using over 160 bombs on one target and then only giving bombs out every 100 spins or more, that’s not right. A few months ago your game was having technical issues, I had just used my own money to buy a spin package which was able for me to win a map. Then the technical issue happened, I ended up losing 900 spins, a lot of coins 40 bombs and I never got the winnings from the card set I had just finished as well from me buying the spin package I was able to finish the card set. I sent numerous mess. I saw that a lot of people had posted they lost things from the technical issue your game was having. So ultimately nothing was resolved, you guys asked for screenshots, I sent them. I mess back, your customer service stopped responding. I was furious. But after a month a have up. Then on 7/1, I purchased three spin sets, because the more you bought the more you got. It was the Canada day special I believe. Each at 7.99, I purchased one after the other. But I only got one. But you guy took out $28.96 out of my accnt. You charged me that amount but only gave me one. I bought those to help me finish the map and the card album. I didn’t finish either. I have sent numerous mess with the pic of the amount taken from my accnt for the game. I have gotten 3 emails back. One that didn’t pertain to the situation. One asking for screen shots, which I have sent at least 8 times. And now today is 12th, and I have gotten nothing back. No mess, no credit got spins for the game or credit of the money back to my account. So what do I do now PK? That’s pretty bad that all of this has happened and I get nothing. It’s not like I’m the only one. I have read hundreds of people saying the same thing. How they get robbed. No help. Please tell me that I dont have to close my game because I’m not getting taken for. That you guys will make this right. Or not. And you can do nothing. Thank you! NG

Pirate Kings™ Terrible game

I got this game because it looked interesting. At first it was enjoyable but then I asked myself, Is this it?

If you don't have the game what I mean is that the only thing you do in this game is spin a wheel. Yeah that's it.

So I guess the point of the game is to own as many islands as you can, yet once you advance, you are never able to see your old islands. Honestly there is no way to get addicted to this game because you have to wait an hour to be able to spin the wheel again.

The island buying thing is ok, but there is now way to customize it. Also the prices get super high.

The wheel

The wheel itself is not too bad and actually brings unique gameplay but there is a major problem. There are ten different things you can get while spinning the wheel. 6 cash prizes, attack, more spins, shield, and steal. The cash prizes range from $1000-$100000 at first, but as you go through the game some prices will slowly raise. In case you were wandering $100000 is not good. $1000000 is good.

The attack slot is where you can destroy a random opponents island. This option is pointless because the opponent usually has a shield.

The shield slot is where you can get a shield (duh) to protect yourself when attacked, but unfortunately you only get a maximum of 3

The more spins slot is ok, it gives you 10 extra spins but this slot is rare to get

The final slot, the steal slot, is the slot everyone wants. When landed on you get to choose what island to steel from. Unfortunately shields can't protect you from getting robbed

I spun the wheel 100 times to see how many of each slot I got.

Lowest cash prize-
52 times

2nd lowest cash prize-
23 times

3rd lowest cash prize-
9 times

3rd highest cash prize-
6 times

2nd highest cash prize-
2 times

Highest cash prize-
2times

Attack- 3 times

More spins- 0 times

Shield- 3 times

Steal- 0 times

Yeah, so unfair. To make it worse, the lowest cash prize is between the more spins and steal slots!

I'm not saying it's impossible to get the steal or more spins slots, (I've got each of them 2-3 times) what I am saying is that this game is very unfair and totally reliant on luck, actually it's not even luck! Please fix this and make it fair.

Don't get this game unless you expect something terrible each spin

Pirate Kings™ July 18

I have enjoyed this game up until now. It used to be fair but now you’re playing just to get people to pay more and more of their own money to play this game. And while I understand that’s for the the benefit of the people who made the game by that same token they’ve taken some of the enjoyment away and I won’t be playing as much now. When someone put so much into a game and there’s really nothing coming back at them it’s really not a great way to play.It was nice while it lasted especially playing with family too bad

July 19 I just broke the bank for I suppose 66 billion and all I got was one. This may be the last time I get to play.
I play I pay. The game encourages me to finish the last chapter. I’ve already used over 600 bombs on that ship I have made no headway. Playing this game just got out of my range. Really sorry because I enjoy this game but it broke the bank. Make some adjustments and I’ll come back.

September until now my friends and family and others have enjoyed playing the game. Unfortunately now things have changed. In the beginning everyone seem to be on equal footing but now it’s different as we’ve gotten past more islands there’s been a definite economic class breakdown. Financially we were on a pretty equal footing but now unless you have the financial ability to buy your way out of an island you’re stuck and very vulnerable. Some of us could afford to pay you enough money to get off an island or to fix an island and others of us we’re not in that same financial class so the game has become very uneven. I feel that Jelly Button needs to take a lesson in fair is fair across-the-board and that means for everyone. One more point when the game promises that if I buy X it will give me Y and that’s just not happening. Many times I run out of bombs when I know I should have more.

Nov11,2020 The bugs are worse than ever. Spending more enjoying it less. Time to take a break.BYE

2/08. Twice tonight I have purchased spins. 1000 spins for $2.99. They have mysteriously just disappeared when I still had 700 and some left over on both occasions please rectify the situation as soon as you can either give me back my money or give me back my spins.

2/12 enough already! I do love this game but too many bugs. I paid for spins I didn’t get them, I bought the new pirate didn’t get it. There are so many issues right now. Please, please, please fix the game so that it works the way it supposed to and you stop ripping people off.

Pirate Kings™ Changes

I’ve had this game for around 3 years. I play it daily. It’s the only game that’s ever kept my interest this long. Spins build up slow, and go fast, so it’s a good go to randomly during my day for a quick gameplay.

Over the years I’ve been here through countless updates, with them fixing and changing things. Some needed, some not so much...

The most recent one is what has lead me to leave this review...

This update has changed how much money you get along with upping how much you have to spend to complete an island. My wheel stayed the same as far as how much money I win on each wedge, except for the “Golden Wedge” which went from 3 million to 3 billion (I bet 10x spins). I then checked my island and it now costs me billions to build an island item...

Not to mention I had somewhat of a strategy before where, since I could see how much each island item tier would cost, I’d make sure to spend my money the most effective way. This would ensure I had the least amount of money left as possible before closing the app, since people steal your money all the time.
Anyway, today when I go to build my island items, it only shows me 1 price for each build instead of all 5. Therefore it makes it harder to plan your spending efficiently.

The makers of this app have a way of upsetting you, and making you feel special at the same time. Through my many disappointments today, with the release of this new update, they did do a couple things that were good.

They upped the spin cap from 50 to 160, and the hourly amount of spins given from 5 to 16. So now we will have more gameplay available at quicker times. They also completed my current island “on them!” and gave me 100 free spins, plus the 20 free spins you get for completing an island.

These things are the reason I’m putting my review with 3 stars. I’d do 2 and a half if I could, because it deserves to be split down the middle based on the good/bad being 50/50 with one another.

One good thing I can say about the makers of this app though, they make updates and add new game features CONSTANTLY. So I do believe that they’ll realize some of these new additions aren’t going to work well, and they’ll change/fix them.

Unlike most people leaving reviews on here, I do think they listen and value our opinions on the gameplay. With that being said though, of course they’re still going to be money hungry... But you absolutely do not have to spend money on this game. Most tournaments last for weeks, and if you can’t complete a task in that amount of time it’s because you aren’t active enough and your spin wheel completely fills. That means you miss out of more spins hourly if you let your CAP fill.

There’s a lot of pros and cons, but they usually work the kinks out. I can’t wait for the next review though, because this is definitely one of my least faves.

Pirate Kings™ Another money game

Really fun at first, but once you get a little up there in levels you'll notice the wheel doesn't just "stop" anymore, it creeps until it hits one of the two lowest money amounts. I'm lucky to get a shield or steal every 100 spins anymore. Speaking of shields- they need to make it so you can have more than 3. It seems like if I have 3 I'll hit the shield option every few spins but not if I don't have any, aka lots of wasted spins because I can't collect the shields, and each morning they are all gone anyway. If you don't want anyone stealing your money make sure you keep less than 200,000-as soon as you go over and log off, even for a minute someone will steal from you. All in all it's a fun game but it takes forever to regenerate, and eventually it rips you off, I've lost countless spins because of "network lost" but I've had solid 4g the entire time. And since I've started the game, I've landed on spins maybe a total of 7 times, I'm almost to level 150.

Pirate Kings™ This game scams its players

I really liked the game so much so that I actually bought extra spins and bundles with bombs, cards, spins and shields. The problem is I wouldn’t get what I paid for and then I would send a message to tell them what I didn’t get and I got messages back saying I did get it I just needed to refresh but i NEVER got it! I’m not a liar and I wouldn’t care if I wasn’t being scammed they offer all of these deals and then u don’t get what u pay for and again they send this automatic response that says they looked and I did receive it but I didn’t! I suggest that NO ONE plays this game bc they do NOT honor their deals they scam ppl for money and they don’t do ANYTHING to change it no matter how many times u give them the chance to make it right! I just think this is SO wrong and it’s supposed to be a “Free game” and if u want to get anywhere u can’t really play it for free and then ur purchases aren’t honored and u don’t get what u paid for! I’m FURIOUS about it! Amanda

Pirate Kings™ Complete trash

To the guy previously supporting this game. This game is a cash grab. They never give you more spins aside from watching long ads for ONE more spin and the occasional 5 per hour. You obviously don't understand this game because getting attacked means you need to repair it, if you attack back that does nothing for you.

This game is a game completely based around a prize wheel. However it is not the slightest fair. I had 50 rolls of getting 1,5, 10, and 25 gold. This if you cannot tell has an incredibly low chance if the wheel was fair. Not to mention as you get to new islands, the costs goes up but the prize wheel does not change. If you need help imagining this, imagine inflation but your wage staying the same. It just makes it more tedious for the players to build anything before it is stolen by others.

You get 5 spins every hour or so and it requires you to watch an ad if you want more. There is no way to increase the amount per hour either. Overall this game is trash and should not be played.

Pirate Kings™ Wheel "NOT" Random

I've noticed that the wheel, which I understand is supposed to be random has no problems landing on 5000 17 times in a row (this happened earlier today and I counted) but have yet to see that happen with 110000 ( I've noticed it will slowly move past the larger amountsbut has not a problem stopping immediately on the lower cash amounts).
Also, why is it that I have been able to steal at minimum twice a day (and I'm checking this game quite a bit because I like building the lil islands), yet now we have a "stealing event" I haven't landed on it once today.

I believe your "random" wheel isn't as random as you would have us believe. I'm not the only one who has noticed the "cash amounts" bias and several of your players are very concerned about this.

I understand the need to not flood the game with large amounts of cash, but as I stated above... 17 times in a row hitting 5000 but only had 1 streak of 100000 which happened 3 consecutive times. Seriously?
Just an observation about your "non random wheel"

Pirate Kings™ More Stressful Than Fun

The whole point of a game is to be fun and constantly engaging, right? Not this app.

As great and cute as it was in the beginning (when you could overlook the wheel going BACKWARDS or excessively landing on shields when you don't need them) - this game gets old rather quickly, as well as stressful.

5 spins an hour is okay at the start, with the exceptional ad to watch and the 10 extra spins for inviting all of your Facebook friends per day... But after each island you discover, the more and more gold it's going to cost you (obviously)... But the wheel NEVER changes, you never land on what you need unless it's convenient for the wheel, nothing new is unlocked. And let's not forget the parade of people who start to attack you and steal ALL of your gold, because 50 spins gets you no where enough money you need for ONE upgrade.

I finally did myself a favor and deleted this app. It's an obvious money grabber with outrageous prices for x amount of spins. I never spent a dime on the game and glad I never did.

Pirate Kings™ DON'T BOTHER

I have been playing this for several months and it is fun at first. The wheel stops at the 3 least amounts of coins FAR TOO OFTEN to be random. The wheel is rigged to give you the least amount of coins possible. 5,000 and 7500 is what it lands on 85% of the time. Once you get to a certain place in the game is is next to impossible to progress because you have to 'save up' coins to have enough to buy the items but if you try to save you are robbed blind by the next time you have enough spins to play. The only way to progress is to buy what you need with REAL MONEY. Then you work for days and days to complete your next island. I was ONE ITEM away from completing my island and going on to the next set of islands and the next day it was COMPLETELY destroyed. In my news feed there were only 2 attacks listed. It should have been impossible for two attacks to destroy the many things it had taken to get that island one item from being completed. This is a rip off. Don't even start it unless you enjoy a rigged game-and not in your favor.

Pirate Kings™ Hate all the new changes

Does anyone else feel ripped off by all the new changes? Especially the ticket prices for the space game. I used to spend an average of 15.00 real dollars a day on this game but no more, I only use the free stuff then play any other of the many games available through other places. Whoever came up with the idea of taking back all the little extras that we used to get just discouraged people from real purchases. It’s fake spins and coins for real money you dont have to be so greedy. I spent hundreds of dollars this year and only completed one book the last two times I only had one card left to get , I don’t even open that anymore. Everyone usually gets me iTunes for pirate kings for birthdays and holidays. I told them all I’ll still take them but won’t be spending them On pirate kings. They have literally stolen my desire to play past the free stuff. And the daily spin is also a joke how low the coins are . I have 193 of those just sitting there. No one likes to feel ripped off and loyal customers should be appreciated not taken advantage of.

Pirate Kings™ Pirate

Hey!
Concerned with the 30k spins’ false link, i remembered a similar situation. Let me tell you its story >>one time, a fly company faced technical issues in their system and all passengers paid just 500$ for a ticket instead of 5000$ , the company was able to bear its fault and didn’t blame the passengers. They made their hearts happy, they captured their hearts and loyalties.
You Jack took the spins and took our hearts with.
You broke our hearts and hadn’t been able to bear your fault.
You hacked our accounts and that wasn’t from your right.
You took something not yours.
I had 7000 spins and played happily because of the 30k spins, then i lost everything. Unless you had been wrong, I would still have them.
You made us play and play and you knew we won’t even finish the book and get its “15000 spins’ grand prize”, I thought the 30k were compensation.
You lost our times and stole our proberties.
Note: Some people still have the 30k.
I am very disappointed and will delete my ex favorite game.
Goodbye Pk.

Pirate Kings™ Not a good game

Hardly a game at all. The entirety of what you do is scripted; the only choices you have are still within very narrow bounds, such as what you upgrade first. You still have to follow the same path as everyone else. Nothing you do in this game matters. You achieve nothing except watching a very lame series of cutscenes cleverly disguised as gameplay. It’s just a gambling wheel game with some extra bells and whistles.

And they still want you to pay money for it. They want you to pay for a rigged game.

Worse, there isn’t even a hook. What do I benefit by playing this game? The developers would like you to think you’ve accomplished something, evidently, as they give you the option to brag about your victory on Facebook. Except, you’re forced to attack other players - forced - and your success is entirely random. No skill involved. Remind me why I’m “bragging,” again? Over... being told what to do by lazy game developers?
Then there is getting revenge. Wait, why am I getting revenge on players you forced into attacking other players? This isn’t the game developers creating conflict, it is them creating the ILLUSION of conflict.

Pirate Kings™ Do not play this game if you have a real life

The mechanics of this game are great, and it's easy to get into and want to progress. The problem is that there are now so many players that you cannot play this game at your own pace. You would think lots of players would reduce your chances of becoming a random target but it is completely opposite. You cannot avoid being a constant target of either stealing your money (easy come, easy go - that's the game) or attack. It's the attack frequency that ultimately ruins the game. You have to play the game more frequently than is reasonable for anyone with a real life (job, school, family) - and even then it's likely you are going to have to pay some real money to have sufficient spins to keep you island shielded from attack. If you don't you are consistently 2 steps forward and then 1.5 (or 3) steps back.

Is it fun? Yes. Is it frustrating? Absolutely. Is it balanced? Not any more, and getting increasingly less so. Evidence? The latest new feature that allows mining past islands so you have some chance of advancing in the outer islands where the items are so costly

I'm at almost 400 stars, and about to just delete this game and "walk away"
