Oh where do I begin... For the 2nd time in 2 years, my account with Pitney Bowes (which has been on auto draft for YEARS) has mysteriously dropped off auto pay. Each time, I have been charged late fees of $32 per month. I requested the past due fees to be waived due to the fact that my account is on auto pay. The day after I disputed the late fees, my account was auto drafted to pay those late fees in full. I only pay $19/mo for my lease, so $32 per month late fee seems like extortion. . My account is set up to auto draft from my company Visa. Funny thing is, Pitney Bowes doesn't send an email to me saying my payment hasn't been received. By the time PB sent the email, I owed them $321 of which $122 was regular charges. The additional $$ was late fees. I get nothing but a run around from these people. Vague emails saying "Good news. Your case has been solved." I see no proof my case has been solved. As far as I can tell, nothing has happend. I am beyond frustrated. That aside, PB is saying I have a 39 month lease that I supposedly signed digitally. Um... I don't think so. It was my understanding the lease was on a year to year basis. Given the fact this has happened each year for the past 2 years, I wonder if this isn't a way to generate revenue for Pitney Bowes in the form of outrageous late fees. I am a long time customer. Frankly, I feel like I am being played and taken advantage of.
Same experience. They are no better than a payday loan scam. They generate more money from late fees and other assorted fees than they do from the leasing of equipment and postage fees. Of course, this is on purpose.
Why give a business a line of credit of $3000 but then charge them a fee when they refill the machine on anything over $150? I discovered this the hard way. My company has used PB for close to 20 years but we just severed the relationship a month ago. Now we email invoices and use regular postage stamps for print and mail invoices. Much, much better.
I don't know how they stay in business like this. They are providing zero services unless you think sucking a company dry through exporbitant fees is a legit business model for growth.
I placed an order with Personalization Mall online and they used Pitney Bowes, which is such a deceptive package delivery company! I placed the online order Nov 27, 2020, label created 11/30/2020, went to Pitney Bowes Greenwood, IN, Dec10, 2020, Pitney Bowes thru Dec 15, 2020, from there to Pitney Bowes Atlanta, GA Dec 28, 2020, and it is January 2, 2021 and it’s still showing in Atlanta, GA. I live in Clarksville, Tennessee 37040 when will I receive my package? I will never use Personalization Mall again unless I get what I paid for, which (6) of the (8) items were special Christmas presents. Very disappointed in both companies

I agree with the negative reviews of Pitney Bowes. I had been a client for more than 25 years. They used to be pretty easy to deal with, but I was only a few months into my latest 5 year contract for their postage machine when I realized they were going down hill fast. I ordered some ink from them for the postage meter. 30 minutes later i realized that I had ordered the wrong ink cartridge. I called customer service and was told that the order had "already been sent to the warehouse" and there was no way to stop it. They suggested that the best thing to do was to refuse delivery on the wrong item so I would not have to pay to send it back. I did as they suggested...but was never credited for the return. I tried contacting them, and was told to "fill out a case" online. There response to my "case" was a chirpy "Great news! We've solved your problem." It turns out this was their way of saying "we won't admit to doing anything wrong and you still owe us the money so pay up".
This was the first of many problems with Pitney Bowes, up to and including the return of the blasted meter when the contract was up. The next thing I try is a letter to their corporate attorney...which won't help, but it will make me feel better!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They have zero interest in helping customers and only care about getting every penny they can out of each one.
I made a complaint today to the Ohio Attorney General. They are very unethical.
