Porch Potty Review: A Smelly, Useless Waste Of Money
!
I gotta say, I was really excited to get the Porch Potty from porchpotty.com. I mean c'mon, who wouldn't want a nice little space for their furry friend to do their business right on your porch? But man oh man, what a letdown. I shelled out 300 big ones for this thing and it's just a piece of garbage. First off, my pup absolutely hates it. Not sure what it is, but every time I try to get her to use it, she just looks at me like I'm crazy and then runs away to pee somewhere else.
But even if she did use it, there's a bigger problem - it smells like death! I know, I know, I should be cleaning it out regularly and following the instructions to a T, but even when I do that, the dang thing just doesn't drain properly. The grass sits way too low on the plastic part and then the urine just sits there and rots. And let me tell you, it ain't a pretty smell. I've even tried cleaning it with a bunch of different stuff (some recommended by the company itself) and nothing does the trick. It's just a lost cause.
And to top it all off, these guys only give you 7 days to return it! Talk about a scam. I'm telling you folks, save your money and don't even bother with the Porch Potty. It's a rip off and your house will smell like a dumpster fire.
Review: Porch Potty - A Game-Changer for Pet Care, with Room for Improvement
The Porch Potty is a great invention that I stumbled upon recently and I must say, I am thrilled with it. It saves me from having to rush outside every morning to take my furry friend out to do his business. I have never seen anything like it before and I think it's a game-changer in the world of pet care.
The only thing that has been a bit of a challenge is the pooping experience for my pup. It seems that the rough surface of the Porch Potty is not very enjoyable for him, but peeing seems to be no problem at all. He's becoming more confident now and can even jump off it, which is a big improvement from when I first got it.
I had a crazy thought - maybe they could make a simple fold-up fence that is sized to the Porch Potty and can be used for the first few weeks of training. It seems like it would be a great idea to help pups adjust to the new surface and prevent them from jumping off prematurely. It could even have flat feet that slide into a slot on each corner, making it super easy to set up and take down. Perhaps they could even include a small brochure with ideas for other ways to use the fence once it's no longer needed, like a trellis or portable enclosure for the kids' games.
All in all, I am really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend the Porch Potty to other pet owners. It's a great way to save time, energy, and hassle during those early morning trips outside. I'm looking forward to seeing how they continue to improve and innovate in the future!
Porch Potty Review: A Frustrating Experience with Shipping and Customer Service
Man, let me tell you about this porch potty from porchpotty.com! So I made the decision to buy one about a week before moving into my apartment - gotta keep my furry friend happy and properly pottied, ya know? Anyways, their website said it would arrive before my move-in date, so I was feelin' pretty good about it.
Well, move-in day came and went, and still no porch potty. I was getting pretty worried, so I decided to reach out to their customer service team. I mean, c'mon, I had to keep on top of things - my pup was already gettin' antsy about not having his usual spot to go!
Now, here's where things got a little... frustrating. Customer service told me the package was at a UPS facility, just waiting to be picked up. Okay, cool. But days passed and still no tracking info, so I reached out again. Finally, the kind lady shipped out a replacement and sent me the tracking info herself. Apparently, the original package was still waiting at the UPS facility, but UPS had just left it there... huh? I don't know what to make of that, but I was happy to finally have a new package on the way.
Fast forward two weeks, and I finally have my porch potty in my hands. FINALLY, right? WRONG. I open it up, and lo and behold, there's no fire hydrant included like it's supposed to! I mean, c'mon, after all the trouble I went through, I couldn't even get the dang thing I paid for!
Overall, I'm pretty frustrated with how things went down. Sure, the porch potty itself seems fine, but man, talk about a hassle and letdown. Hope they get their shipping and customer service sorted out, because dang, this experience was ROUGH.
Porch Potty: A Game-Changer for Potty Training Your Puppy in Big Homes with HOA Restrictions
We live in this big house with a big yard but we can't put up any fences cuz of the HOA. Our pupperino is just 4 months old and he has to go potty like a dozen times a day and night, and taking him out on a leash gets tiring really quick. But hey, guess what! Porch Potty is the solution to all our problems, y'all! It's freaking amazing! Our pup sits by the door in the kitchen and lets us know when he's gotta go. Then we take him out to the Porch Potty, and bam! He does his business instantly, and he's so proud of himself.
Porch Potty ain't just for cramped apartments and small houses, it's for larger homes too, especially if you got stairs and a puppy who's ready to do things on their own, like our little buddy. Seriously, can't rave enough about this thing, it's been such a game-changer for us.
Here's a pro-tip for all y'all: we wiped a bit of our pup's pee on the Porch Potty once, and he picked up on it faster than we could finish saying "good boy!" We started with the artificial grass since it's cold outside, but come springtime, we're definitely gonna switch to live grass.
Honestly, we can't recommend Porch Potty enough - it's hands-down the best investment we've made in a long time. So don't even hesitate, y'all - get yourself one now!
Review: Porch Potty - Poorly Designed, Expensive, and Ineffective for My Big Lab
This product, Porch Potty, is a real bummer. It may look nice, but let me tell ya, it ain't got no heart. The drain pipe is a real pain. It takes forever to connect because it's a hassle to design. And even when it's connected, the urine and water just spill out from the bottom. It's like my dog might as well pee on the floor because I am still mopping up urine. Only about 20% of the pee goes through the pipe, and the rest just falls down to the ground. Plus, for my big Lab, it's just not stable enough. He's a hefty boy, weighing in at 37kg, and this thing can barely handle him without shaking all over the place. And don't even get me started on the grass. Sure, I knew it would be synthetic, but it's not even remotely like real grass. It's cheap plastic that I feel like I could've picked up at the dollar store. And for the whopping price of $445? What a ripoff, man. I can't believe how poorly designed and executed this whole thing is. And to top it off, customer service is so slow to respond. Ugh.
Product needs serious improvements, beware of faulty hose connection
Product need serious improvements. The hose connection to the base is a hole you gotta put the hose in and nothing stopping it from leaking. My hole was miss-shaped, no way to connect. Porch Potty didn't heed my concerns, kept offering more hoses that wouldn't have worked and left me hanging for weeks with no solution. Only after filing a dispute with PayPal did I receive a refund, PorchPotty even tried to sweet-talk me into cancelling the dispute (fat chance you get your refund then - PayPal until the end!). If you do buy this product, best consult a plumber, get a plastic gromet, apply liquid silicone and spend a good hour tinkering with it. Best to also put a tray (I used 4x BBQ trays fastened together) under the grass, otherwise it never dries out and smells bad. This product requires a trip to Bunnings and some truly inventive plumbing work. Forget the hose, it's crap, and honestly don't bother buying it. Not worth the time and money. And if you do, make sure PayPal will sort it out!
Porch Potty Review: Quality Product and Above-and-Beyond Customer Service
Yo, I gotta say somethin' about Porch Potty. I been workin' in sales, customer service, and marketing for over 30 years, and lemme tell ya, these guys got it right. The first thing I wanna talk about is the quality of their product. As a manufacturer myself, I know how easy it is to cut corners and make somethin' cheap. But these guys made a choice to build a quality product. Their frame is solid and well-made, so even my little terrier and my blue nose pit can get up on it without gettin' nervous.
But the real game-changer for me was their customer service. Let's face it, every company can have issues - it's how they handle them that makes the difference. And these guys went above and beyond for me. I got caught in a perfect storm - it was the holidays, UPS was behind, and I was movin' with a change of address. Porch Potty called me back and forth, I dunno how many times, helpin' me change delivery locations and track my order. At one point, they even sent me a second Porch Potty so I'd have one when I moved in. (I sent it back to 'em, of course!)
All I can say is, these guys and their products are amazing. I'd recommend 'em to anyone. And as a side note, my movin' company was terrible. But thanks to Porch Potty, my dogs Eddie, Rosie, Ruby, and Roxie (aka "Meatloaf") are happy as can be. Thanks, Porch Potty!
Unprofessional Customer Service: My Experience with Porch Potty
I had to get another piece of turf from this site because everyone said it was the bomb.com. Got a little problem with shipping, though. I was all set up to work from home that day to receive my package; didn't want no issues, you know what I'm sayin'? But then, no delivery, no call, no nothing. I checked my camera and saw that the delivery guy dun just left one those "missed delivery" notes. Well, turns out that I didn't get my package until 5 freakin' days later. Why, you ask? Because that driver dun messed up and didn't leave it at the pickup location. I called the shipping guys, and they're all like, "we can't give you a refund unless the product makers say so, yo." I figured that'd be easy enough, but it turned out to be a mess. I emailed those Porch Potty peeps, gave 'em my shipping number, and then...nuttin'. After two reminders, I still haven't heard anything after a month. This is hands down one of the most headachey customer service experiences I've had. It's just unprofessional to not even get back to your customers. I was really hopeful they'd fix things up because they got an a'ight product. But not worth the hassle when there are much better companies making stuff like this with great service. Trust your girl and take your business elsewhere.
Porch Potty and UPS Shipping Woes: Incompetence, Fees, and Excuses
Yo, I got beef with Porch Potty and UPS. First off, how much does this plastic thing weigh? I mean, it's gotta be like 10 pounds or something, right? So why they charging me $23 or $78 for shipping? And they say it's free in the US, but then I see discrepancies when I'm checkin' out. Like, what's the deal here? And what about shipping to other places? How much they chargin' for that?
This my second time tryna order from these fools, and it ain't goin' so well. I live in a gated community, and I gave 'em all the info they need to deliver this thing to me. But what happens? The driver can't figure out how to get in. I even got my name on the call box and all that. I left out my condo number, but come on, there's only four options. And ain't nobody wanna hear my puppy barkin' and carryin' on with excitement when he sees the UPS guy.
I get packages from Macy's all the time, and they don't have no problems gettin' in. So what's UPS's excuse? They don't know how to follow instructions or read maps or have common sense? Or maybe they just don't care 'cause they gettin' paid hourly and part of a union. And don't even get me started on the fact that they makin' me pay $23 for shippin' when I already spent $259 on this product.
I ain't never had this much trouble gettin' a lightweight plastic thing delivered before. And Porch Potty ain't helpin' matters none. They couldn't even bother to check my billing address, even though they had it right there in front of 'em. And they defendin' the driver, even though they had to contact me to verify my condo number. And then they don't even deliver the thing for ten days. What kinda work ethic is that?
All I'm sayin' is that UPS and Porch Potty need to step up their game. It ain't that hard to deliver a plastic thing to a fenced-in community. They need to show some ingenuity and motivation and get this thing sorted out. No more excuses, no more fees, no more incompetence.
Porch Potty Review: Costly Hassle with Disappointing Results and Customer Service
I've had my Porch Potty for a while now, and I gotta say, it's been a bit of a hassle. I've been doing everything I can to keep it clean and odor-free, but nothing seems to work for very long. I've even tried replacing the fake turf with real grass, but no luck - the urine smell just won't go away! I've tried everything - weekly soaks in the tub with bleach, using Turf-Tastic odor eliminator daily, running water over the grass twice a day - and while it helps temporarily, the smell always comes back.
Now, I'm not gonna lie, the concept behind Porch Potty is great. But the maintenance required to keep it clean and odor-free is way too much. It's easier and cheaper to just use puppy pee pads. Plus, the Porch Potty Standard is pretty pricey, and you have to buy additional accessories like the drain bowl, which gets gross pretty quickly.
The Turf-Tastic odor eliminator is also expensive. It costs $31.50 plus shipping, and you have to buy a new artificial turf 1-2 times a year for $49.00 plus shipping. And let me tell you, Porch Potty charges a lot for shipping.
I even reached out to Porch Potty customer service with my concerns, but they just told me to do the same things I'd already been doing. So frustrating! You'd think for the price they charge, they'd use plastic with Microban technology to prevent bacteria buildup from urine and feces.
In the end, I've spent over $300 on my smelly Porch Potty, and I'm just gonna throw it all in the trash. Save your money and avoid Porch Potty. The product and customer service are both a disappointment.
Porch Potty Complaints 10
Customer service is outstanding, ordering process needs improvement. Excited for Porch Potty arrival!
I gotta say, I had a bit of trouble with the orderin' process for Porch Potty over on porchpotty.com. It was kinda confusin' and I reckon it could be improved by havin' it all on just one page. I thought I was done with the orderin', but turns out I wasn't. I had to go back to the website and that's when I saw an order for three of these Potties. But I reckon we got it all sorted now and I'm real excited for when Abby's Porch Potty arrives!
But I gotta tell ya, the customer care over at Porch Potty has just been outta this world. They've really taken care of us and made us feel like we're in good hands. If the Porch Potty product is anywhere near as excellent as the customer care, we're gonna be over the moon with happiness. And let me tell ya, we're gonna be tellin' everyone we know just how great it is. Thanks a bunch to Stacy and the whole Porch Potty team!
Unimpressed with Porch Potty: High prices, poor durability and lack of support. Not sure it's worth the investment
So, Porch Potty. I've had one for a couple of years and I gotta say, it ain't what it used to be. The frame ain't holding up and the tray is looking like it's about to give way. Went online to see what I could do and nothin'. Nada. Zip. Zilch. No warranty, no support, nothin'. So what's a person supposed to do? Buy another one apparently. And let me tell you, those things ain't cheap. Not by a long shot. And when you try to use a coupon code online? Yeah, good luck with that. None of them seem to work. But, begrudgingly, I went ahead and made another purchase. I mean, what choice did I really have?
But you wanna talk about prices? Holy cow. I had to fork over $59 for a piece of sod that's only gonna last me a month or two. Plus shipping and handling. It's like they're tryin' to bankrupt me. How is that even fair? But hey, guess they don't care as long as they're makin' another sale.
Overall, not too thrilled with my Porch Potty experience. Can't say I'd recommend it to anyone. Guess I'll just have to keep on buyin' 'em until somethin' better comes along.
Porch Potty Review: A Great Solution for My Pup's Potty Needs!
I live on the top floor of my apartment building and my new puppy was quite a handful when it came to potty training. I didn't want to keep going down to the alley to let him do his thing every night. So, I turned to Porch Potty (porchpotty.com) and was pleased to find a possible solution to my problem.
When my order arrived, I was disappointed because it didn't come with the synthetic grass. I felt like a melon after reading online reviews, thinking that I could just purchase one easily from a store nearby. But I soon found out that wasn't the case. Nevertheless, their customer service was quick to my call and immediately shipped the synthetic grass for me. Though, I must say that it took almost a whole week for it to arrive. It would have been really cool if they could have shipped it faster.
Since the Porch Potty arrived, my pup is slowly learning to train there. I must confess, the process isn't easy at first. But after some patience and time, my pup is now very comfortable using it. I no longer have to worry about those late-night walks down the alley. It's such a relief knowing that my pup has somewhere to do his business without having to leave my apartment.
All in all, my experience with Porch Potty has been pretty good. Although it wasn't the perfect start, the immediate response from customer service, and the quality of the product has surely made up for it. For anyone out there searching for an excellent solution for their pup's potty needs, I definitely recommend Porch Potty!

Porch Potty's Pricing Practices Ruffle My Fur: A Disappointing Experience
I gotta say, I was excited to check out Porch Potty's website and snag myself one of those training sods. But boy oh boy, was I in for a rude awakening. I was eyeing that sod that was priced at $49, but when I added it to my cart, it said $59! Like, come on, Porch Potty, what gives? And to make matters worse, I noticed they were selling the same product on Ebay for a whopping $259 with free shipping! Like, seriously, what kind of scam is this? Even with a discount code, I'd still be better off buying from a different seller.
I was really disappointed by this, especially since I had already bought their cover and was planning on buying another one for my second location. But now I'm not so sure. I just can't support a company that doesn't have their customers' best interests at heart. I mean, sure, I need that training sod, but I'd rather buy a smaller piece from Amazon than give Porch Potty any more of my hard-earned cash.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that everything about Porch Potty is bad. I mean, the cover I bought from them is great and my dog will be here on December 1st, so I'll still be putting it to good use. But it's just the principle of the matter, you know? If a company can't be honest and upfront about their pricing, then they don't deserve my business.
So, in the end, I guess I'll just have to find another solution for my second location. It's a shame, really, because I was really excited about Porch Potty's products. But I just can't support a company that engages in such poor business practices.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Porch Potty for Australian Customers
Yo, so I hit up Porch Potty on their website to try and cop me and my boo a fresh Porch Potty. But dang, no one hit me back for a minute, so I had to slide into their DMs on other social media platforms. And when I finally got a response, it was whack - they didn't even answer my question! Then, when they did give me some info on when the item would be back in stock, it was straight up wrong. Their customer service for Australia is wack, my partner and I were promised that we'd be put on the mailing list but we ain't heard nothing yet. Thankfully, I check the Porch Potty website every damn day or we'd probably miss out again. Ain't happy with their service so far. If I could find something similar somewhere else, I'd be moving on from Porch Potty for reals.
Mixed Information and Customer Service Issues - Review of the Basin
They say the Basin holds 2 gallons on one part of the website and 3 gallons on another part. Also, the website says that shipping is done by FedEx but when checking out, UPS is the only option offered. Moreover, I gave them a call but was only told that I would receive a call back, but all I got was a text saying "You are in the queue to be called back. In the meantime, feel free to text back your question, so we can be best prepared." I did what they asked and sent them a text, but I am still waiting for a call back for almost an hour now.
The good news is that I really love their product! I already have a furry friend who is using one of their porch pottys, and it's working perfectly fine. Overall, I think that the product is amazing and would definitely recommend it to other pet owners out there.
Hope this helps!

Mixed Experience with Porch Potty: Three Stars Review
I gived Porch Potty three stars. The first time I called, the phone just rang and rang, and nobody picked up. Then another time I tried to look at their website on my phone, but it wouldn't let me see the whole thing and I had to squint to read it. I wish there were more coupons available and a better way to customize the small size portch potty. But when I called back and finally got through to someone, she answered all my questions and helped me pick out what was best for my puppy.
Overall, it was an okay experience, but the real test will be when I get my order and see if it works well. Then I'll decide if I want to recommend Porch Potty or order from them again. Thanks for listening!
Helpful Vids and Good Customer Service, but Room for Improvement - Porch Potty Review
The vids really helped me out a lot when decided to buy Porch Potty. They show everything you need to know to get started. When I was ordering, though, I wish there was an option to choose between a hose or basin. Some folks might prefer one over the other depending on how they use it. Maybe people could buy one and then pick up the other one later if they needed it.
Also, finding my cart wasn't so easy. I had to add another item just to see it and then delete that item. It could be easier to find or more obvious. And it was hard to see the return policy on the website. I had to look it up online and found out there's a 30-day policy, not just 7 days. I don't get why that's not right there on the site for everyone to see.
But the customer service person I talked to was really nice and they sent me the 30-day policy as soon as I asked. So they're helpful for sure. Overall, I'm excited to get my Porch Potty and try it out with my pooches. Thanks!
Porch Potty Hose Leaks and Disappoints: A Honest Review
I'm like having problems with Porch Potty hose. It, like, leaks where it meets the drain and it's super annoying. Plus the directions were like confusing when it came to figuring out where the washers go. And then, the hose connection where you screw it into the top doesn't feel very secure, and that's probably why it leaks. Like, seriously, this product looks good, but it feels like they made it super cheap with the hose and hose connection. It's unfortunate, like, the hose doesn't even work properly, especially for a $300 product. I hope to find a DIY solution, so I can keep using it, but like, my friends who want to use the catch basin, I'll recommend it to them. But, anyone who plans to use the hose, which is like the main selling point, I like gotta warn them about the issues I'm having, like for sure.
Disappointing Quality: A Review of Porch Potty from PorchPotty.com
So, I got me a Porch Potty from porchpotty.com and set it up. Gotta say, the quality ain't all it's cracked up to be.
Firstly, the box was looking worse for wear, and the whole thing was kinda dirty and fragile-looking. Not a great first impression.
Next up, the black coating on them metal legs - not done to perfection, let me tell ya.
And finally, the worst of the lot - that grey drain elbow on the drain hose... it's leakin' like a sieve. The connection between the potty and the elbow is crappy design-wise, and it just ain't holdin' up. Water and pee be drippin' all over the floor, and sometimes the pressure just ain't enough to make the water flow proper-like through that small hose.
Now, don't get me wrong - I know I ain't got no money tree in the backyard, but these Porch Potties are some of the most expensive things out there on the market. I was expectin' a bit more bang for my buck, y'know?
All in all, I hope porchpotty.com can do somethin' about this and give me some solutions. 'Cause I ain't givin' up on this Porch Potty just yet.
