Writing it again because of one ugly word I used in the last one so not having got through. This company used to employ me for 2 months. Already so much have I written on them that I don't feel like repeating myself. To cut the story short, they use "vulnerable" people to make money for themselves (e.g. longterm unemployed or foreigners as me who apparently have lower rights) and not pay them the due wages and bully them.

They run an ongoing recruitment process which is a mockery at the word "recruitment". Then after a few days 90%resign not getting paid. The others cherish hope to earn good money and strive still on. They can use every excuse in order to avoid payment of the wages.

For example their T&C's state that after you had visited the property, you must prepare fully formatted blunder-free Excel version of the inventory in 24 hours, and also send it with the pictures. Which is in most case not physically possible when you are given a couple of estates to visit a day. So you travel round london 9am-9pm and then you are "obliged" to sit and work through the night on your reports (remember - any blunder as even small misspelling can exclude you from paying in 100% and so can also the lack of photos or photos being not ideal - at their discretion). Next day to work remember!

If you have submitted e.g. 79 reports for the month behind you and you still are behind with a single one, or you don't have a set of pics for any one of the 80 lets say jobs, you will not get paid for the whole month. You will never see a payslip whatsoever. They give you small advances (as they call them) for survival - 150 pounds a week or every two weeks.

By the way, "advances" are money that are not yet due to workers (if you were paid for the last month and before the end of another). After money's due (after 1st month) the cash pays cannot be called advances if the 1st month wages wasn't fully paid out, isn't it? They are installments of money that's already been due to you for some time. And I had to beg them for these "installments" because I said I had no money for tickets to get round to properties and for food and rent.

The issue is now investigated by the employment tribunal. They will probably issue a default payment order. This is not it. Andrew (boss) want to sue me and get back of all those "advances" which asa whole amount to 1290 pounds and he somehow figured out himself the sum of 2000!

This is not it. I was multiple times called on my mobile and intimidated including using swearwords.

Also, he has many times blackmailed me that my payslip will not be done unless I finish this report or the other (but eventually he did not keep his promise when i did those reports). Those behaviors when I reported them to Jobcentre lady were described by her simply as harassment and bullying at work. There are proper paragraphs for it in the law!

Of course the excuse that I shouldn't have been paid those advances he came up with now is that i did not submitted my jobs in 24 hours time (above) and several of the jobs lacked pictures (which delay and lack of pictures he didn't mind AT ALL ALTOGETHER WHATSOEVER before my struggle for my due money with him started thru the Empl.Trib.). I urge you not to try start working for him and if you are an estate agency, I leave it to your wisdom and consideration whether you want to place orders with them for inventory makes or not.

I would better not if I were you. I know the inventory clerk of theirs are very good (me for example) but remember - it's a sly-very based company!

wow I can see that the list of the wronged is gradually and continually increasing!
Darren Russell? Yes, it is definiately Andrew Carlton a few years ago on the picture.

Who would suspect they were employed by a crook and criminal.

And good news - Employment Tribunal issued me with a default judgemnt of late, let's see if he doesn't ignore even this one!

I only wanted to say that Mr. Carlton has finally paid Darnell (he wasn't procrastinating very much) but he is still avoiding to pay the ordered money from the Employment Tribunal to me.

As I said at the beginning I was born in Poland and as a non-English person I was and am treated by him in the same way the non-white British people are, ie. worse than all the white-English employees (I don't have anything against them, but I do hate Mr. Carlton as the only English person [if only he IS English as I heard rumours he is of foreign descent, Middle East, I suggest?])

I have called the ### several times. He obviously "went on holiday" to Seychelles. Well, yes, he eventually economised sme money by failure to pay me.

I am sending the enforcement to the Bow County Court tomorrow.

Remember - do not trade with this fraudster, do not start working for him, don't be involved with him in any way if you want to stay on the safe side, steer clear of Mr. Darren Russell (Mr. Andrew Carlton), Mr. Davidson, Property Concepts UK in 10-16 Tiller Road E14 8PX, and Apple Properties and Homes Direct.

I have also made an appeal that the discrimination and bullying case be proceeded with.

I have too strong and irrefutable proofs to let him go.

If you have/do work for any of the above, HMRC would like to hear from you as your tax and national insurance has never been paid although it will have been deducted by the company and no doubt spent on another new company website.
i have a letter from the tax office asking me to contact them (which I have with great pleasure) and i know of at least 5 more people who have also received letters asking for details on the above. If you haven't received a letter, please take the time to contact your local tax office with your details. You are not liable for the payments, Darren Russell is, and HMRC need to know what he owes.

he really is the pit of the world, but dont forget he had helpers. Andrew Bloom of masthaven finance being one...the guy will deny it but they were and maybe still are shareholders of the same companies. Dawn Wright his offsider, Paul Curtis a so called manager...and so the list goes on, all these people need arresting and putting behind bars. Its these people that have caused the world to go into such rot!

A quick check online and the director of oakleighs, castle white, addlefields etc is Mr Qasim Mohammed Ishaq. No idea who he is?

Mr Qasim Mohammed Ishaq is a nominee Director and therefore has no idea of the running of the business and has no input into the business. The Business is run purely by Andrew Carlton

I very much agree with the poor treatment of staff at oakleighs!
Also for such a company that claims to have corporate clients and huge jobs going on, why are they asking customers for 100% up front on works?! But yet struggle to pay staff on time? And how is it that they can transfer money into your account straight away for materials with no hesitation but when it comes to wages you have to wait 10 days after invoice and even still they do not pay on time.
I have a lot of points to raise with this company. They are not what they say. They do not have the man power to complete jobs they claim they can do.
All the office staff work in the same room, opposite each other. When they want to get in touch with you they will text and call and email until they get a reply. But as soon as you have a problem with them, they're ridiculously shaddy and fail to reply to the emails and text messages and phone calls you send!
I wouldn't recommend anyone to have work done by this company on the basis of they will rip you off. They charge between 50-70% on top of what the workers quote, when top London companies only charge 20-30%.

They have an excuse for everything specially when it comes to money!
Andrew whoever he is, just seems to be an absolute fool to think he can treat people the way he does and get away with it.
I totally agree with getting watch dog involved.
My self and at least 4 others have had trouble with this company as staff. We cover all trades and are taken for granted. The fact that you have to then spend hours upon hours filling out those reports after a quote at no extra pay apart from knowing that's 4 hours of your life your never getting back.
It's one thing after another with these guys. And to be fair to everyone they need to compensate everyone who is having problems with them and get shut down.

Hi there,

I run a cleaning company and have supplied this company (Churchill Butler Inventories) with cleaning services for the period January 2013 and February 2013. We did for them 25 jobs and after being told how we are going to be paid no monies were received in our bank account. Initially our point of contact was Liz Collis and also had an email from so called Andrew. After numerous phone calls and emails nobody replied to me or phoned back. I'm starting a process of suing them over unpaid invoices. I'll be glad if I can get to know other people mistreated by these ### and pay him a visit or report him to regulatory bodies.

£21k owed by Oakleighs Maintenance, can anyone please give me advice on how to get my money please..? I have tried to be as flexible as possible and now after been given the nod to search for a Darren Russell I come across all of this. I'm normally a good judge of charactor but I have let my family down so much by chasing the work with this guy

Hello,

These people have taken £17000 from me for full materials and 50% labour cost. I read reviews about oakleighs on ratedpeople.com
and somehow did not come across this forum - complete fool.
The owner Andrew is not contactable and no one is answerable to me. I am in a distressed situation and not sure what to do..
I have to take legal action but not sure whether i will get my money back...and advise is welcome...prasadmd83@gmail.com

Looks like he's off again under the name Property Plus Group and has even had the nerve to send me a marketing email from this new company signed off by a former employee who no longer works there because he walked due to not being paid!

when are you IDIOTS (yes ALL of you are STUPID) look at the guy owed £9, 000 come on after the guy had not paid the first weeks salary what should you do?...go
Even if the guy promised to pay you at the end of the month and didnt would you still carry on working for him?...NO (unless you are stupid)
He owed me 5k for 3 weeks work (I was considered to be his right hand man in the filed)
I went into his office and held him hostage, until he paid me in CASH (Yes he has bundles of the stuff in his office so paying by cash is easy for him.
He's a gay boy, the female side of the partnership so he's very soft and if you shout at him he cries. Just do what i did, threaten him with a beating...you'll get your money promise. How he gets away with it is that he KNOWS you lot are softer than him, and by reading all your whinging...he's RIGHT.
All you have to do is some of you meet up, and go a knocking on his door. his staff wont do a thing to stop you taking Andrew/Russell/John into his office and holding him hostage, espically JO...she acts tough but is a scared as a mouse.
So STOP moaning and go and get your money...if you're MAN enough...I did...and I went on my own
