Amazin service and feels like home not an apartment
Amazin service and feels like home not an apartment. The managers are so friendly. The complexes are clean and trash free. I've never lived in apartments and felt like this.
I live in one of their complexes and I'm having issues with the DM
I live in one of their complexes and I'm having issues with the DM. I tried talking to her boss, but he says he won't do anything. Very unprofessional. They are racist people who don't need their jobs. Very childish. I waited almost 5 months for them to fix an electrical problem I had, and I'm still waiting for them to fix the refrigerator that is leaking water.
I been living at Chapel Creek Apartments in Fultondale AL for 8 months now and the staff and maintenance team have been amazing
I been living at Chapel Creek Apartments in Fultondale AL for 8 months now and the staff and maintenance team have been amazing. I had some problems in my home but they fixed them quickly and professionally. Big shoutout to Chapel Creek and Providian Real Estate Management for the great job they're doing at this place.
I live in one of the complexes in Alabama
I live in one of the complexes in Alabama. It was great when I moved in, but it quickly went downhill. If you try to call Providians Main office to talk to someone about something because the manager just gives you a bunch of lies, they never answer their phone or return calls! And the manager knows how to get around the system by texting instead of answering on the website, so she thinks nobody has proof of things. I have proof of everything! The manager also told me when I moved in that even though I'm disabled and I had a small puppy that was a service dog, and I had a doctor that had signed papers stating this, she told me that I could not have my service dog here. I had to get rid of it to live here. I had to have a place to live, so I had no choice. This was very hard. Then to see 2 other people move in with dogs after me! She's very partial! She won't kick people out according to the lease, even though they are intimidating others and destroying others' property, throwing trash on their porch, keeping noise up at all hours of the night, nothing is said to them or done about it. Even drugs being done & sold on the property. But not having a manager on the property at all, and not having a manager that cares anyway, these people know nothing is going to happen. The manager told my lawyer she fixed the things I had complained about, but in a video I sent him, it clearly shows it was a lie, nothing was fixed. Her own maintenance man told her one particular thing I needed, and she canceled the order. I have been here 3 years and haven't had a working oven the entire time. There's mold, no air filters get changed according to lease terms, nor is there any pest control per lease terms. We have to do our own pest control and buy our own air filters. Supposedly there was a rent increase in October 2022. I never received any notice of this. I did get a notice of an increase for January 2023. According to the lawyer, the increases aren't applicable until a new lease is signed.
I currently stay in one of their complexes
I currently stay in one of their complexes. I will attach my most recent email to explain a little about the ongoing problem. They will feed you lies until you can't take it anymore and start consistently inquiring, and they run out of lies or they begin to forget what they already told you. Little to say, I still haven't received a response, nor do I have working air, dishwasher, and other requests are still open.

RE: Request/Complaint
Good afternoon, I hope you are looking forward to your week as much as I am. Unfortunately, I am spending my Monday writing this email to inform you of multiple incidents that occurred here at Timbercrest apartments involving your management team. As well, requesting information and corrections to documents I have received.
I will start with the most pressing request to correct the most recent document I received. Late, Wednesday July 14th I returned home from my vacation, on my door was a document "ADVANCE NOTICE OF TERMINATION AT END OF LEASE TERM OR RENEWAL PERIOD" with multiple discrepancies, I am requesting information on why I received this notice. On Thursday July 8th I received a call from Tabitha informing me that she was able to get an update on my request to fix my A/C, after informing her that maintenance had NOT been on the roof that week (nor had they been on the roof the last two weeks) and I was told he would NOT be getting on my roof to reconnect my A/C. Tabitha also informed me that a thermostat had just been ordered for my unit. This all was disturbing since I had been told weeks before that the part was ordered. I then went to the office to request permission to have a licensed contractor look at the A/C, Amy the office assistant told me she would get with the manager and request permission. No more than 15 minutes later Jody the apartment manager called me from his personal phone to tell me it's not happening, and I could call Tabitha until I was black and blue in the face, but the request would be denied. The next day Friday July 9th maintenance got on the roof and reconnected the A/C and the air worked less than a day. Before leaving for out of town I stopped by the office on Saturday little after 8am to inform the staff my A/C was out again, unfortunately no one was there. I left for my trip and returned Wednesday to the notice that I would not be able to renew the lease nor continue month to month. I am requesting correction of the date the notice was left on my door, the notice is dated for Friday July 9th I left Saturday July 10th with no notice of this. My security system confirms Tuesday July 13th as the date the notice was delivered. Requesting correction of the date of my lease, on the document it states my lease as 2019, I signed a new lease February 10th, which was supposed to be a 12-month lease. I do have verification of this as Amy and I conversated through text and the dates were supposed to be fixed. Also, I am requesting a signature on the document the one I received on Tuesday July 13th does not include a signature. I am attempting to clear up the assumption that I received this notice due to my many requests to fix my A/C which has been patched multiple times but never fixed for over a year now.
As of today, Monday July 19, my air is still out, and my dishwasher is still not working. I am requesting these issues be addressed as soon as possible. The window units are continuing to affect my sinuses as I've had two sinus infections. As my doctor has informed me, the direct air from the window unit is a problem and will most likely continue to occur. Unfortunately, without the window units, it will be too hot to stay in the house.
Next on my list is the recent entry of a lease violation that should've never been a lease violation. Sometime last summer, I was having issues with my neighbors who called law enforcement multiple times to my apartment due to an issue they were having with my sister who was frequently visiting me. These incidents occurred when Sarah was the manager. Jody P became the manager soon after and provided me with a packet of highlighted portions of my lease (at the time), Jody hand-delivered these papers and stood on the porch explaining that he was the new manager and it was his obligation to share the information. Jody also informed me that this incident was not going to be a violation of my lease. It is very convenient that once I began to continue the request to fix the maintenance issues I've had for over a year and request corporate and owners' information, a lease violation was entered from an incident that occurred over a year earlier. I have since acquired the police reports which ALL state that my music was not "unreasonably loud"; "not inappropriately loud"; and "violated no laws" also states whom the complaints were regarding, none of the complaints were against me. I am now aware that noise outside of the apartment is considered a lease violation (thanks to the documents received from Jody), I explained the issue to Jody that day and he agreed that the music wasn't too loud, I was reassured by Jody P I could continue to sit on my porch listening to my music as I worked. To this day, I haven't received any complaints about my music and the volume is still the same and Jody, Amy, and the maintenance guys come through every day and hear my music. The only thing that changed is the neighbors that had the complaints relocated. Again, very convenient timing that this lease violation showed up. All the police reports state no issues, as a matter of fact, they state "respectful" and "cooperative" in them when it came to me and my company when approached/questioned by law enforcement. When it comes to this lease violation, my first-time hearing about the violation was when I was able to reach the corporate office and spoke with Tabitha who informed me I had a violation and it was entered in June . The first time I saw this violation was when I requested a copy and Amy provided me with a 1-page document that states was provided to me in June and to contact the office within 24hr for questions and concerns. How am I to do that when I never received this document and was told I didn't have a lease violation? Also, how can a manager who wasn't here at the time issue a lease violation? I haven't received any complaints nor has law enforcement been called during the time of Jody P's tenure.
I am requesting to speak to corporate about this situation as well as some other concerns I have. As well as requesting apartment owner(s) information.

I still haven't gotten my security deposit from the rental place
I still haven't gotten my security deposit from the rental place. The leasing agent said I'd have to wait a whole 30 days. Still waiting. I moved out from *** in *** on July 16th and the leasing manager *** told me I'd get my full deposit of $945.00 back. Blossom, the leasing secretary, initially said I'd get it the next week, but *** clarified. I've called and emailed Providian Real Estate multiple times, but *** told me to stop emailing and wait the full 30 days for processing. They said I'd get the check the next week, but I still haven't received it. These times are awful, hard, and stressful, especially since I'm not working right now. I really NEED that check. *** said there's no problem, but I'm worried Providian is holding onto my check for some reason. Also, according to Blossom, the check hasn't even been processed or is pending. I just want an accurate update on where my check is. Thank you.
Landlord at Canaan Estates in Talladega, AL not doing her job and is rude
Landlord at Canaan Estates in Talladega, AL not doing her job and is rude. I used to live in Apt 15 at Canaan Estates and lived there for over 5 years back when Mrs. Linda M. was the landlord and she has always been great to me. But now this new lady is rude and doesn't prioritize admin work needed for past residents. I am applying for a new house for my family and I and I am in need of verifying my residential history. The property management company I am going through faxed her a form to fill out to verify my rental history with Canaan Estates and she has given us the runaround. I called her yesterday explaining that I needed his information sent over by Friday February 26th and she said that she would get to it and send it over. So Friday comes around and I called to remind her of sending it because today is the deadline and she tells me that she has other important things to attend to and that she might get to it today and then it might be Monday. My kids and I really need this home and she is not prioritizing admin work that is also a part of her job. I have contacted Providian via phone about this matter and haven't heard anything back yet, I ask that someone contact me at xxx so that I can get this information in by today or I will be denied this home. And I also ask that Providian look into this new landlord and have her punished for being rude and negligent of part of her job.
