I am totally satisfied with our installation. Our sales rep Michael answered all of our questions and was in contact with us throughout the process of installation and follow up afterward. The installation crew arrived on time and did a professional job. I would recommend Pure Air Conditioning to anyone in need of a new unit.

Pure Air was professional from the time of the survey. Mike E. was great in his explanation of options and how the new installation process would work. The actual day the crews did it went basically without incident. The crew (AJ and Jude) were on time and very professional. I would recommend them highly.

Great experience! We needed a new AC system. Michael E responded right away. His quote was thorough and on target. He arranged to have the work done almost immediately. The crew was polite and got the work done on schedule, going out of their way to obtain and install a Nest Thermostat and servicing a secondary AC unit while they were on site. We could not be happier.

Pure Air was right in line, but offered several little extras and a high degree of professionalism that won them the job. The installers were on time and efficient. Once done it was like they weren't even there. Our new system works perfectly. Overall, a great experience.

My 7 year old Trane unit needed emergency service due to no cooling
My 7 year old Trane unit needed emergency service due to no cooling. Scheduling an after hours service call was simple and the technician, Eli Gomez, was at my house within 30 minutes of my call. He found the problem within 20 minutes of inspection of the unit, changed a stepper motor, and the unit was up and running within 1 hour of my call to Pure air. Great service! Eli is an asset to your company!

Yesterday, I learnedly my AC wasn't working. As a Canadian, it will be sometime before I'll be able to get to Florida. A call to Pure Air and they were there the same day to fix the problem. Turns out it was a drain problem. I've been with Pure Air for years. Great maintenance, knowledgeable staff and quick to respond if ever I have a problem. Highly recommend you give Mike a call, if you're looking for a really good AC company. You'll be glad you did.

Very similar to another review below. Their "Technician" told my wife we had a definite Freon leak and would be a $2,500 repair. Even said "can you hear that leak?". Quoted replacement for $5k. Mike the sales rep was offended and rude that I was getting a 2nd opinion. Now I know why. 2 other companies showed up and both knew right away was just a fan blower motor and was replaced for under $400. No leaks. Even with this knowledge sales rep mike "stands behind his technicians assessment". And goes on to guilt trip about taking time away from his family, he showed up at 4pm on a weekday, Very unprofessional and questionable ethics. Starts from the top down as you can see by Owners response to all negative reviews.

If I could give "negative stars" I would have. We had this company install a new ac unit in 2018 for almost $14,000. It is a 5 ton Trane. Since then we found out that several other companies would have installed the same unit for SEVERAL THOUSANDS less... We were new to the area and did not have the time to research the company - our mistake.
THEIR mistake (other than over charging) was that they did not bother to take out a permit ! We're selling our house now and just found that out. When I called the owner, MIKE C. -his tone was immediately rude and said it would cost over $500 to send out a technician and to give us an "after-market" permit...whatever that is. When I asked why this was not done in the first place, he made it sound like this is how they do it...
Well, we will not be doing business with them again, nor recommending them to anyone!

This was my first time using pure-air for an air conditioning concern. I called on a Saturday at 12:30pm and the service tech Andy F was there by 1:30p. So right away the bar was set very high. Problem was at rental property of mine. Air conditioning was blowing but blowing warm. The current unit installed is 10 years of age. The service tech Andy F quickly jumped into action and started diagnosing the concern. To make a long story short the humidistat/thermostat was causing the system to not function properly. Andy F repaired the issue, checked the charge level/pressures, verified the condensation drain tube was clear of debree, checked the evap coil condition. My tenant was back in action with cool air.
I would highly rec Pure Air for any ac concern. They are quick to respond, show up on time, resonable rates and talk to respectfully.
Way to go Andy F ( service tech ) you are truly a pleasure to do business with.

We moved to SWFL October
We moved to SWFL October. Prior to moving I researched repair/maintenance companies for our home. Pure Air was highly rated & was really impressed with the maintenance, knowledge, and comments regarding the curtesy of the service representatives of Pure Air. Needless to say, in 2014 our A/C was on its last leg so Pure Air recommended the new super TRANE a/c. We were fortunate to take advantage of a promotion by TRANE whereby we had an interest free, five year payment plan. We have been extremely happy with our TRANE and consider it a wise investment as the efficiency of the a/c dropped our electric bill. Along with the payment plan, 5 years of free maintenance came with the package. We've had a few issues with the system but the issues were quickly addressed and were mostly due to the builders inadequate engineering planning of our home. All in all, I highly recommend this company and the owner Mike is hands on and really cares about his customers.

I note the disparity of views on this company - good and bad. Until July this year, I would have posted on the positive side. We have (had) been Pure Air customers for nearly 7 years. They sold and installed and serviced two of the three air conditioners we have in the house. We signed and paid for three consecutive 3 year Preventative Maintenance Agreementss, and received fine service on them until August. The (first) main unit was a 5 ton, Trane XL20i, that came with a ten year parts warranty, and is now approaching 7 years old. It's been serviced by Pure Air every six months until the pandemic, and the service due in May was not done until July when I called to ask about it. At the end of August, the unit ceased to run, displaying an indicative error code on the thermostat. Between then and last Thursday six different techs made 9 separate visits to diagnose and fix the problem, but no repair lasted more than a few days (sometimes hours) after the tech left. Finally, after seeing the same error code 9 times, in connection with Trane, it was diagnosed that the ECV computer board in the compressor was likley THE problem, and for the week it took to get the board and install it we were without air conditioning. I left a cal on the answering machine for the President/owner to call me, but he never did. At its installation we were presented with over a $500 bill for "service" which I questioned, and said while I thought service was covered by our service agreement, I would call the office the next day to discuss it. I had hoped to pay ( if necessary) after the unit ran successfully for a week. (By the way, in less than that week, it stopped again - same error code!) Pure Air is simply incapable of finding the problem and fixing it!) But I was told that the tech's instruction was that if we did not pay it on the spot, he was to remove the board and take it back to the office! This after a 7+ year customer relationship. We paid, using a credit card. The President/owner still has never spoken to me, but he has sent what I consider to be a rude email, saying we had "mistreated" his employees. I asked for their names, and received that he wasn't interested in reading the email. Since he claimed that all the service visits counted against the number we were allowed under our agreement, service was not free of charge and we owed the amount billed. In discussions with alternate (replacement) servicers, I've come to understand my experience with the XL20i system is not uncommon, and that essentially Trane built and sold (and has now simply improved) a model that is unreliable after this long, and that finding problems are difficult because "it's as complicated as a space ship." Not sure of how aware Pure Air is of that view, but at no point - replacing sensors, pressure valves, various compressor parts - were we advised of that while we were, according to the owner "using up" our free service calls. Essentially the owner took the position that the servce agreement we signed last November was completely useless going forward. At this point we explored options and are currently under agreement with another firm. The service was great when it was simple. It lacks professionalism and technical ability and even courtesy when the owner got involved. Accordingly, I would caution anyone considering starting a relationship with them to think about this story..

I had a real hard time with Pure Air Conditioning. They tried to fix my AC five times before they finally figured out what was wrong. I had to miss work every time they came over. And when they finally found the problem, the owner was a real jerk about it. They said they'd make it right by signing me up for a three-year contract, but then they never called me back. I've been trying to get in touch with them, but they're nowhere to be found.

I got 2 AC units from Pure Air Conditioning in Feb 2021. My thermostat didn't turn on the heat, so they came down and fixed it. But after that, the heat kept running with the cooling, and my electric bill went up to $565.00. My bill never goes that high. They came back in March or April for a high AC bill and charged me $69.00 for that service call. I think they should refund the $69.00 plus $300.00 for the extra charge due to their AC repairman. I talked to Roger, and he said he would try to talk to the owner, but nothing has happened yet. I spent $14,000.00 with this company. Thanks for any help you can give. If it's not resolved, I'll file a complaint with the DBPR.

Pure Air Conditioning is not keeping their promises. I signed a 3 year service agreement in 2019 and now they won't honor it. The agreement says I won't have to pay for any service calls, but when I called to get my AC unit serviced, they said I have to pay $69. They said they changed their agreement and I have to pay. I talked to the owner and asked him to follow our agreement, but he said he can change it without asking me. He said he was losing money and that's why he changed it. He said he sent me a notification, but I didn't get it. He said I have to pay the fee or he will cancel the agreement. He won't change the price of the agreement if I pay the fee.

I got this AC from Pure Air in June and in December , I started having problems. The compressor stopped working. It's a Trane single 4TT6036J1000A and I financed it through Wells Fargo for $5,960. I had it installed on June 20 and in December the same year, it started making weird sounds and I was losing air pressure inside the house. The tech checked the unit and added more coolant and ran some tests. It worked for a while, but then we had the same issue again. Now the unit stopped working and Pure Air is telling me it's because of a power surge and FPL. When I did some research, it clearly indicated that if the unit has low refrigerant, it can stop working. They want to charge me $1200 or more to replace the compressor.

Pure Air put in and has kept up my AC for 4 years. Lately, water was leaking from the air handler and I called Pure Air 'cause I had a service contract with them. Two techs came and both said that the "overflow float" valve wasn't in the right spot which made water soak the insulation in the air handler. The second tech said the unit wasn't level which made water leak into the house duct work and finally through the mastic that seals the ductwork. That leak made water leak in my garage and onto cabinets. To fix it, I gotta climb a ladder and empty the overflow handler water pan 3 times a day. I called Pure Air a lot and the owner said I had to pay to fix what was basically issues caused by poor services. The owner "cancelled" my relationship with them and said to get someone else to fix my situation.

On August 25, when the maintenance guy came to service it, he didn't want to go up to the attic where the AC was because he had to move a cabinet to get up the stairs. He said he'd service it outside, which was weird. On May 14, he came back to service it and found a tiny refrigerant leak. He said he needed to come back with a special tool to find it, and I had to pay $105 for that. I also signed a new contract for $245. On May 26, he came back with the special tool and found the leak. He said they put in 1.75 lbs of refrigerant, which cost $105. Then he told me the coils were rusted, and they weren't covered by the warranty. The labor cost was $1125, but they later said they'd accept $850. I had another AC guy check the coils, and he only found a little rust on the frame, not the coils. Before all this, there was nothing wrong with the AC. I want $350 back, minus the $98 they sent me for the cancelled contract and refrigerant.

My issue is with the 10 Year Labor Warranty that I paid $1013 for, which was supposed to be from Trane. When I called the number for Trane Customer Service that Pure Air gave me, they said they haven't sold a labor warranty since 2013. I asked for a copy of the warranty many times from the salesman, customer service, and even the president of Pure Air, but no one responded. The salesman said it was from a 3rd party, but couldn't give me the name or a copy of the warranty. Customer service said I'd get it in 2 days, but I didn't. They sold me a fake warranty and lied about it. I can show proof with my invoice and the names, dates, and times of everyone I talked to. I want Pure Air to give me the Trane Warranty they sold me or give me my $1013 back.

We bought a Trane AC unit (XR-14,00 SEER) from PureAir in Naples, FL on March 18. The marketing representative said that our Electrolux air cleaner could be moved onto the new equipment, but the workers said they couldn't do it. They broke one of the two UV lights in the transfer over, and they took our fully functional Electrolux air filter without our permission. We've been trying to get in touch with them through emails and phone calls, but they've been ignoring us. We need the electronic air filter for our health, but they won't replace it. We hope they can resolve this matter soon.
