On Thursday 9th march 2023, flight no. QR963 from Denpasar Bali to Hamad Doha think it was delayed. When we landed in Doha and going through to transfers we were meet by a lady from Qatar airways who said we had missed our connecting flight, but would be taken to a hotel for the night, Picked backup for the same flight on Friday 10th March. I myself had food poisoning , just wanted to get home, My husband had to cancel a job and we didn`t get the seats that we had paid for.
In my opinion we should be compensated.
Please find attached E- Ticket receipt and both lots of boarding passes.

Complain on Doha gate staff for changing my seat without justification
Dear Qatar Airways,
I want to make a complaint about my last flight from Doha to Bucharest on 3 April. I booked an online seat 21 A. I was given a boarding pass for the same in Colombo. But when I boarded in Doha, the staff at the counter changed my seat to 10A stating that 21 A was already allocated.
I’m a Silver frequent flyer on one world. When I boarded the plane, I found that the seat that I got is not comfortable at all.
I strongly condemn this act and I wish you will make sure that this will not happen again when I’ll fly again on 7 April.
As a Silver privilege member, I should be compensated for this incident making my travel an uncomfortable one.

Cancelled Flight from Chicago to Detroit
My Locator # is SYDN28 under Kanwar Dhillon. I flew from Amritsar, India to Doha, Doha to Chicago on 31st of March. My next flight was on 31st of March form Chicago to Doha under QR2742(American Airways #AA3113). This flight kept delaying to later and later in the day and finally, was cancelled. The next available flight given to me was on 02April, AA would not provide any hotel accommodations. I made a decision to rent a car from Chicago to travel to Detroit on 31st of March and I rented one from Hertz.

Phone stolen from my suitcase proably in Doah under my transfer
I took the flight from Cebu-too Doah 27 of march flight QR0925. I had one suitcase to be checked in locked with a code lock . In the suitcase I put a phone; Samsung galaxy A5.
From Doah after about 8 hours transfer I took flight to Oslo airport 7.35 too Oslo airport with flight QR0175 the 28 of march.
When I picked up my checked in suitcase in Oslo I saw that the baggae tag on the suitcase was missing. I thougt it has been fall of.
Because I was vewry tired after a long flight and 33 hours withot a sleep I did not unpack my suitcase late 29 of march. When I did that the phone inside the suitcase was missing. The suitcase was locked before open it

Allocated Seat Cancellation
We were booked on flight QR328 from Gatwick to Doha on 13 September 2023.
This booking together with pre-paid seat allocation was made in October 2022.
Have just been advised by our travel agent that this flight QR5942 is now co-shared with British Airways and that our seat allocation has been cancelled and that British Airways seat allocation has subsequently closed
We are an elderly couple travelling to the UK from Australia and especially chose to pay for prior seat allocation due to our age and underlying health conditions.
We have travelled with Qatar on previous occasions and have received a high standard of service. On this occasion, we have not only had our flight QR989 from Melbourne to Qatar changed by 7 hours but now our pre-paid seat allocation has been cancelled on our return from Gatwick to Doha,
We would grateful if you could look into this matter for us.

I have still not received my luggage as I was taken off to Hail at Around 01:00pm yesterday on 25.03.2023. I took a flight from Nepal-Kathmandu on 25.03.2023 with ticket confirmation number SCV87P at 02:15 AM. My flight was from Nepal Kathmandu then Doha and then Riyadh and then from Saudi Airlines from Riyadh to Hail(Saudi Arabia). As per instruction given from Nepal I should pick my luggage direct to my destination Hail-Saudi Arabia but upon reaching here in Hail I didn't find my luggage. Could you kindly support and give advice regarding this issue.
I already filed the complaint of missing luggage in Hail Airport with Claim#HAS SV 35279 on the same date 25.03.2023 upon reaching.

The tickets were purchased for tourist purposes, and after purchasing the transport tickets we booked an accommodation in CEBU, at SHANGRI-LA MACTAN CEBU hotel, price per night 1,327.13 RON, non-refundable.
On 16.01.2023 I was informed by email, by the TAROM company, about the change in the flight schedule from 17.02.2023, on the BUCHAREST-ISTANBUL route, it becoming h 16:25-19:15.
On 17.01.2023, my husband ION MANCIULESCU contacted the company QATAR AIRWAYS ROMANIA, by phone, informing it of the change in the flight schedule, and asking to change the BUCHAREST -ISTANBUL flight to another time
because the transfer time between the flight BUCHAREST-ISTANBUL and ISTANBUL-DOHA became only 1 h. The representative of the QATAR AIRWAYS ROMANIA -assured him that it was the connecting flight and the time of 1 h for connecting
is enough.
Subsequent, on 07.02.2023, I was informed by you, via email, received from ( [protected]@qatarairways.com.qa), that there were changes in the flight schedule on the route RO263/OTP-IST/17.02.2023,
the flight time has changed for 17.02.2023 and became h 16:25-19:15, the flight time on the other routes remains unchanged.
24hours before the Bucharest-Istanbul flight, the check-in was opened online, only for the route Bucharest-Istanbul, not having the possibility of doing online check-in on the ISTANBUL-DOHA route.
On 17.02.2023 we contacted QATAR staff from AIRPORT OTOPENI BUCHAREST in order to make check-in on route ISTANBUL-DOHA, the staff refused us telling us that this is done only in ISTANBUL Airport.
Also we contacted TAROM staff from Airport OTOPENI BANEASA in order to make check-in on route ISTANBUL-DOHA, the staff refused us telling that it cannot interfere with the applicaion of other companies.
The flight on route BUCHAREST-ISTANBUL was made on time h 16:25-19:15, without delay.
In the ISTANBUL airport we presented ourselves at the QATAR check-in, but it was closed because the time between the closing of the check-in and the opening of the gates was only 1 h.
The QATAR ISTANBUL staff informed us that the check-in is closed, it cannot be opened and our luggage is no longer on the plane. The QATAR ISTANBUL staff did not offer us any solution for the continuation of the journey.
We were instructed to pick up our luggage form the arrival lane. We went to the arrival lane but our luggaje was not there, we were directed by the airoport staff to the "lost luggage" office, our luggage was not there too.
Our luggage was on the plane and it was taken out from the plane by the "lost luggage" staff.
My husband ION MANCIULESCU contacted the company QATAR AIRWAYS TURCIA, by phone, informing our problem but the QATAR ISTANBUL staff did not offer us any solution for the continuation of the journey, having in mind that
we already paid our tickets for the whole travel.
We bought tickets to our destination from own sources, CEBU PHILIPPINES, the second time. Because the QATAR AIRWAYS has only 4 flights per week to CEBU PHILIPPINES, and we lost the flight, we bought the tickets from EMIRATES COMPANY,
with a stopover of 21h in DUBAI.
The travel policy of the QATAR company is that, without notifying us through any means of communication ( email or phone), in the event that a flight from route has not been performed, all other flights are cancelled.
As a result, on the way back, flights on the CEBU-DOHA and DOHA- ISTANBUL route have been cancelled.The QATAR PHILIPPINES staff ( from front office and the staff contacted on phone) did not offer us any solution for returning home.
Basically, we were abandoned, without any solution from the company to be repatriated.
Due to the fact that we were not offered any solution for making the flight,because we no longer had the financial resources to pay for a new travel ticket from my own sources,we have
contacted to a travel company from ROMANIA, MARSHAL TURISM SRL, a company that bought us return tickets, tickets that we paid upon returning to the country.
The travel tickets were purchased on the available routes, and the only ones available are with the company EMIRATES - business class.
As a result of the fact that we were not offered any solution for making the flight, we purchased travel tickets for the planned vacation on our own account and from our own sources, twice.
Considering the above, we claim the payment of all the expenses incurred for making the trip, as follows :
- FLIGHT EXPENSES, for me and my husband, to Emirates Company on route ISTANBUL-DUBAI; DUBAI- CEBU - 2.840,00 USD;
- Accomodation EXPENSES stopover in DUBAI 21H EUR 344,88;
- EXPENSES FOR 1 NIGHT'S accommodation lost(non-refundable) the hotel SHANGRI-LA MACTAN CEBU - 1.327,13 RON;
- FLIGHT EXPENSES, for me and my husband, to Emirates Company on route CEBU- ISTANBUL; ISTANBUL- BUCURESTI, business class, 3.700,00 EUR;
- Accomodation expenses stopover in CEBU 24 H - 1.180,00 RON.
Also, the events to which we were subjected during the holiday trip: flight loss, luggage recovery, flight cancellation by your company, contact a turism company in order to buy and pay for us
return flight tickets, affected the smooth development of our vacation.
Thus, I hereby file this claim, and request the payment of material compensation which will cover both the expenses incurred for the vacation and the moral damages as a result of the events to which we were subjected,
in total amount of EUR 19.044,88, USD 2.840,00, RON 2.507,13, as follows:
- material damages:2.840,00 USD, EUR 4.044,88, RON 2.507,13 according to the above mentioned;
- moral damages 15.000,00 EUR ( 7.500,00EUR/person)-we guaranteed the tourism company with our word that upon arrivall we will pay in full the whole sum of money lended to us.

We consider that the facts happened, changing the flight schedule on the Bucharest- Istanbul route, with a difference of only 1 h, physically impossible flight schedule, and not offering any solution from QATAR COMPANY
staff for the paid flight it is due to an error on the part of your company and is not fraudulent action.
We hope for an amicable resolution of the complaint, otherwise, we reserve the right to address all competent organizations:
- the National Agency for Consumer protection- to analyze if that QATAR Company sell fraudulent travel tickets;
- our lawyer in order to open civil process for placing on the market and selling fraudulent travel tickets;
- criminal complaint to the authorities of the Romanian State to analyse the criminal character of the abandonment action outside the country's borders, no money;
- all tourism company - in order to inform them , that QATAR COMPANY placing on the market and selling fraudulent travel tickets;
- all Insurance Company - also to inform them , that QATAR COMPANY placing on the market and selling fraudulent travel tickets

Dear Qatar Airways this is second time i am submitting my complain, the first complain was submitted on dated Feb 27, 2023 5:07 pm EST and till today no one has replied me from Qatar airways i am really disappointed that what kind of airline is this no one is taking the responsibility to solve the lost luggage issue, please respect your business and customer. Fraudulent baggage charges
On or around October, 2022, I booked a round trip flight on American Airlines from Philadelphia to Nairobi, Kenya. This flight was a code share flight with Qatar Airways for travel on December 21 return on January 9.
In November, 2022 I got an email that Qatar had cancelled my flight and rebooked me on a different fight with a 7.5 hour layover in Doha, just under 8 hours for their requirement to provide accommodation.
We had time constrains with my daughter’s schedule at UPENN and could not afford to spend over a day in Doha when we were traveling to see my Elderly parent (Dad, 96 and Mum 89) in Nairobi.
I requested American Airlines to put me on a different carrier on my outbound flight which they did. We flew from Philadelphia to London and London to Nairobi with both us of having 2 bags each, each weighing under 23 Kgs. For a total of 92 Kgs without any PROBLEM.
My return flight remained with Qatar and prior to my departure, I confirmed Baggage Allowance on Qatar’s own Website which shows “flights to/from Africa or America 2 pieces (23kg/50lb each) (Exhibit “A”). I then proceeded to confirm this Baggage Allowance with Qatar (Exhibit “B”) and with American Airlines (Exhibit “C”). Also attached is my Flight Itinerary showing two passenger, Rajal Fox and Cassandra Fox (Exhibit “D”) and four under weight (4) Baggage Tags issued by Qatar (Exhibit “E”).
We arrive at Nairobi Airport of January 9 and Qatar informs me that we are allowed only one (1) piece of luggage per person and that if I wanted our second pieces, we would have to pay. I proceeded to show them their own Baggage Allowance Policy, their Agent’s Confirmation as well as American Airlines confirmation.
QATAR REFUSED TO ACCEPT ANY OF THESE DOCUMENTS AND STATED ‘PAY UP OF YOUR BAGS DON’T FLY”. I had no choice but to do so and then they FRAUDULENTLY APPLY BOTH SUITCASE TO MY DAUGHTER’S TICKET AND CALLED IS “EXCESS BAGGAGE”.
They have failed and refused to refund my money and their fraudulent practices should be carefully reviewed by the Department. APPARENTLY THEY ARE KNOWN FOR THIS KIND OF PRACTICE.

My Zam Zam water didn't arrive
I travelled from Jedda to Doha and then ono London Gatwick.
There were 9 of us travelling and we checked in 9 Zam Zam waters at the check-in. The water did not arrive at Gatwick.
The BA service desk was awful, staff were rude and couldn't really care.
I've had to come home now with all guests coming to visit and expecting Zam Zam water.
Im not even sure what to do next, how do i chase?

Changing seatings because of planes that change
We booked our flights way in advanced. We have been inform that we have to change our seating beacause the airline change the planes. We are 4 people travelling 22 hours. 2 kids age 12. We did book our seats at the back, middle row all next to one another. We always book our flights with Qatar because we have never had any problems of so kind. Since my kids were babies! They are very comfortable with the seats we always booked. They can lie backwards in those seats and dont desturb any passanger of so kind. No one can complain about there seats that are backwards or so, because they will sleep.
it is a very long flight, even for most adults. The airline changed both our seats on our flights back from Bali. My husband got stiff muscles in his knees because he teared the muscles off (sport). How can they be comfortable on a 22 hour flight. i really dont want to complain on social media.
if you can please find us seats at the back all 4 together will be excellent OR the airline have to upgrade us. This is not our mistake, and i really want my kids and my husband to be comfortable on this long flight. I believe the airline will assist us with kindness.

Refundable fare policy - did not wholly refund
I purchased a Q suite ticket, specifically selecting the return flight as refundable as my travel plans weren’t concrete. When I went to change the return, Qatar stated I could not change the itinerary until I started flying. Spoke with two reps who confirmed I would receive the entire refundable amount.
Once I started my flight I requested the refund and they did not wholly refund. They re-calculated the fare and took an extra $2,000 from me. I will be happy to provide details.
Desired outcome: Return my entire refundable fare portion.

This is a staff ticket but not a free ticket. I am the last one to check in. I have 1 check in bag and 1 roller bag which was over weight. I have no issues to check in, but I have to remove my documents. Ms. Rosina objects to that stating there are other people in line, which is not true. Counter was closing after 15 minutes. Should I leave my travel documents like passport and ID in the roller bag? Would Rosina behave the same way if I was a revenue PAX? Then she weighs my handbag and first time in aviation experience, has someone weighed a hand bag? Then she forces me to hand my bag to her and puts tag on it. I dont like my belongings to be touched by others. What was the issue if I would put the tag myself? Why this differential treatment? Last summer, I sent my UM son via Qatar to India and paid full fare. WIll I be doing this now? No. Ms. Rosina was not doing a favor on me. I stayed last in check in que and behaving professionally. Qatar travels to US but should learn from US carriers in respectful treatment of staff travellers especially when seats are available. Ms. Rosina told me "no seats available" to keep me on the edge when every second row in the aircraft had a vacant seat.
Please learn from US carriers including your Code Share partner American Airlines on how we treat our aviation colleagues.
Desired outcome: Expecting a response if Qatar Airways believes this behaviour was unacceptable.

It was quite disappointing to know that two flights got cancelled on same day and we had difficulty not just staying in Doha for long 12+ hours, also we got following hardships during this trip.
we were supposed to land in RDU on Feb 15th where as we reached RDU after 24 hrs.
This has lead to
- I Venkata Gampa loosing one day of consulting equal to approx. 1000 USD
- Taxi at Dallas (no where this was part of trip. we were forced to go Dallas and back to RDU)- spent about 100 USD on back and forth to airport
- My son lost one full school day impacting his schedule
- I got to spend 100 USD on priority pass for using rest rooms
so total 1200 USD is to be paid by Qatar for their 24+ delay.
Transit visa notification
Hello we are a family of 4 traveling from cape town to Auckland via doha on qatar airways. 3 of us have a south African passport and 1 has a Nepalese passport. Our flight was for 3 feb QR1370 from cpt. Unfortunately we couldn't check in as we were told at the check in counter that with a Nepalese passport we need a transit visa for Australia as plane stops for 1.5 hours in adelaide to refuel and clean. This was a shock to us. I checked the transit visa requirements for Australia page and first two points says for less than 8 hours with a forward flight we dont need one. Unfortunately I didn't realize it doesnt hold for all passports. Our travel agent also missed this completely.

What annoyed me was that if the airline knew this all along why were we not alerted? You had our passport details. You knew were flying to Auckland and the only reason for stopping in adelaide is for your reasons. This has caused tremendous stress. We were traveling with kids and we cant split up and go. We had airport hotel booked for long doha transit, hotel in auckland, shuttles and accommodation in Rotorua booked. I was due to start work on 9 feb. Now we are trying to apply for transit visa amd I cant without flight details. First available flight is 1 march! All airlines are booked. We will probably have to pay more for rebooking. We were emigrating so we have sold all household contents and cars in cape town. We are stranded. And to think that the airline could have taken some responsibility in notifying us as you deal with this daily and your flight plan to Auckland is via Australia, its very frustrating. We didn't plan to go to Australia. We want to go to NZ.
This is very frustrating. Please make changes so future passengers don't go through this trouble. We have traveled with qatar many times and actually like your service.
Desired outcome: Rebook flights ASAP and not 3 weeks later please. I need to get to work. I need to get there with my family. And dont charge me extra for rebooking.

Summarizing, My Ticket was cancelled by Qatar Airways (QA) (why QA has cancelled, is under investigation) Qatar Airways has sent the Refund Voucher to Trip Central on December 29, 2022, but I have not received the money in my Credit Card account. Since the date the payment voucher was received directly by Liz Marquis of Trip Central on December 29th, I am following up from pillar to post even till today with both Qatar Airways and Trip Central, as Trip Central states that the payment must be made by Qatar Air ways, and Qatar Airways states that the payment should be from Trip Central. In my numerous recent follow up, Qatar Airways CSR said you (QA) will not deal with me regarding the refund as you (QA) have already issued the Voucher to Trip Central. I request that full payment be made to me plus $500 for interest and all this unnecessary torture for lack of knowledge of the staff who have dealt with this Booking and with Airline Vouchers. In this whole mess on all fronts going on for a month to date, Trip Central says one thing about the Voucher, Qatar Airways says another thing and the sufferer is the Client both monetarily and physically. Please give me my money of the full ticket plus $ 500 my Credit Card Account that was used to make the Ticket payment.
