Also called local247locksmith
Also called local247locksmith.ca When you're in a pinch and panic sets in you search for a locksmith and somehow this company keeps popping up on top ads. I called them in 2021 as well, but didn't realize it was the same company. He doesn't tell you even as much as an estimate, just that it depends. It was 8pm so after hours does cost more, but a 20min drive, a 2min job, and charges me $400! I asked for a reduction and he said $350, but still charged me the $400. I was so upset I didn't notice. Plus, $350 is still too high! He said if I call him directly it can be cheaper rather than go to the website. But it's the same number. He IS the website. I don't believe it's a staffed company, but a one man service pretending to be bigger. I could be wrong, but there's something off. I would not recommend. It's unprofessional and lacks transparency in pricing and services provided.
This happened on Jan 7 2022
This happened on Jan 7 2022. I locked my keys in my car and googled a locksmith and called the number on the website. He answered his phone quickly and asked for an address and said it would cost about 80$. I asked for any estimated time of arrival (ETA) twice and both times his reply was fast. After waiting for an hour for him, I decided to call another locksmith. I'm happy I did because he never did show up after 2 1/2 hours when the other locksmith showed up. It was complete disrespect for my time and extremely unprofessional. Please see the below text conversation.
4:30 PM Him- Please send the address
Me- Westmount homedepot
Him- Ok
Me- Prodesk parking lot, *** Camry
5:07 PM Me- ETA?
Him- Fast
Me- Do you have an approximate time?
Him- Yes, Fast
Me- 10 min? 20 min? 30 min
5:30 PM Me- ETA? You have to give me something, my kids are waiting for me. I need to be able to plan to pick them.
7:24 PM This is getting ridiculous.

Too expensive! $300 charged just to open a door! I won't call them again or recommend to anyone."
Absolutely disgusting! Get locked out of my car. Their website quotes reasoable prices. Guy shows up and quotes 380! When my husband said that was too much he jumps down to 190. Not sure how that math works. No reasoning to it. No wonder they have no prices posted on their website.
I googled locksmith in my area and found the Quick Quality Locksmith site boasting a $10 ad. We were in an emergency so I called and a locksmith arrived after 20 minutes. He worked for a short while then billed me $400, adding that the usual fee was over $500 but he would offer me a discount. I was flabbergasted; however, the work had been done and I was in the middle of an event and had no time to argue. I'm disgusted at the advantage that was taken for a job that should have taken no more than 10 minutes. It's outrageous that anyone would charge $400 for such a service when advertising for a much lesser fee.
They charge you $300 for a lockpick that takes seconds.

Said they would be there in 20 mins took an hour, said it is usually $400 for an emergency but because he was late it would be $250 to which I said no and then he did it for $150 after arguing with him. Completely unprofessional and a total rip-off!

I wish I had done my research before I called
I wish I had done my research before I called. I got charged $300 for about 15 seconds of work. And he acted like he was doing me a favor by not charging me $385!I was locked out of my car, he was there in an hour, and when he showed up it was over so fast that I didn't even have time to think about how absolutely fraudulent it is to charge that amount of money when other companies charge less than a third of that for the same service. I would absolutely never recommend that anyone call this company because you will get screwed on the price. The website says "$10 lockout fee" which is obviously false advertising.
a shocking experience my sweet old dog was howling in the back Friday
a shocking experience my sweet old dog was howling in the back Friday. I ran out to him and locked myself out of the house. This company came and thereafter wanted to charge me almost $500 for a job that took 17 min including travel time. I said wow no way. He showed me another price on his cc machine of $80 and I agreed but when I looked at my bank statement later it was $380 he actually charged, not including gst. I called when I realized how much they charged and they argued nighttime charge. I called again asking to speak to the owner, they said the owner would be in on Monday. I called Monday, he said one moment, I waited a while then they hung up on me. I tried again. They didn't answer. My sweet dog died Saturday.
December 13
December 13. I brought my dog for a walk and when we got home I realized we were locked out. Due to sub-zero temperatures I panicked and called Quick Quality Locksmiths 24/7 Locksmith, boasting fast emergency service and a $10 initial service fee. They answered and immediately asked me to text my location, and also sent me a text. They tell me a technician has been dispatched and will be there shortly. They promptly hung up on me, giving me no opportunity to ask about cost. An HOUR later I get a call asking where my house is located, so I met him in the parking lot. The guy comes to my door, sticks two tiny inflatable bags in my doorframe and pops the door open. Then he tells me that for emergency service it will be $479! For 2 minutes of his time. At this point I have some stranger standing in my house and I'm so stunned I pay the money. When they text me my receipt it's $499.80! This is outrageous! Sure, $200 I can see. BUT, to charge someone $500 for the service he provided? That's absolutely ridiculous plain and simple.
September 16th @ 4:35 pm in Calgary
Unhappily, I stepped out of the house and, low and behold, I had locked myself out. And, of course, it's panic stations as I had an appointment at 5:00 pm, which I subsequently missed. Anyway, I phone the first locksmith hailing from the southeast of Calgary. By 5:05 pm they are at the house, and in the house within five or six minutes. At this point I am presented with bill for $499.00. As you can imagine, I was somewhat taken aback. Maybe I should just be thankful I was back in my house.
I can't help thinking something is amiss here, I understand the service is valued but this is daylight robbery in the extreme! I looked around at other locksmith websites and saw prices like $35.00 for the home lockout service and, of course, the final cost is dependent on the actual work done. One locksmith told me the cost should be at most $210.00, and that's if entering the house is not straight forward. People should stay away from this company, they are exploiting customers.
