QB Pro 2014 Review: A Game-Changer for Small Business Finances with Great Customer Support
I been usin' QB for our small law firm fer a few years now. We had the QB Pro 2011 version with a subscription fer enhanced payroll and protectin' data. We got a new bookkeepin' computer so I thought it was time to upgrade to QB Pro 2014. The download went smooth and all my saved data and subscriptions from the earlier version moved over without a hitch. I found a good price on Amazon and yer...
QB has been a lifesaver fer our small business. It's easy to use and helps us keep track of all our finances. The payroll feature is especially helpful and saves us a lot of time. We used to do it all by hand and it was a real pain in the neck. QB has made it so much easier.
One thing I really like about QB is the customer support. Whenever I have a question or problem, I can call 'em up and they're always helpful. They even helped me set up my new computer when I upgraded to QB Pro 2014.
Overall, I would definitely recommend QB to any small business owner. It's affordable, easy to use, and has great customer support. It's been a real game-changer fer our law firm and I don't know what we'd do without it.
QuickBooks Review: Multi-User Issues and Poor Customer Support
I've been using QuickBooks for a while now, and I have to say, I've had some issues with it. One of the biggest problems I've had is with the multi-user feature. It just doesn't seem to work properly, and I can't have more than one person using it at the same time. This has been an ongoing issue, and while it has been fixed in the past, it always seems to come back.
But that's not my only complaint. I've also had trouble getting in touch with customer support. QuickBooks doesn't have a phone number you can call, which is really frustrating. I've tried asking for it through their chat feature, but they always refuse to give it to me. It's just not good business practice, in my opinion.
All of these issues have made me consider switching to Peachtree. I've heard good things about it, and I think it might be a better fit for my business. Overall, I think QuickBooks has some good features, but the problems I've had with it have been really frustrating.
QuickBooks Pricing and Customer Service: A Real Headache
I've been using QuickBooks for a while now and I have to say, I'm not too happy with the recent changes they've made. Last year, they offered me a transfer from Pro to Enterprise for what they said was a three-year amount. But this year, they changed it to $1800 per year! That's a huge increase and I wasn't too happy about it.
When I tried to go back to Pro, they told me that I wouldn't be able to keep my history. That's a big problem for me because I need to keep track of all my financial data. I've also had some issues with taxes not being deducted from one employee, which they said was a data issue. So now, I'm paying $1800 a year for Enterprise, $500 for payroll, and another $500 for one-time data. It feels like they're trying to extort me!
Overall, I'm not too happy with QuickBooks right now. The software itself is good, but the pricing and customer service have been a real headache. I'm considering switching to a different accounting software if things don't improve.
QuickBooks Review: Great Software, But Beware of Payroll Module Lockout
I bought QuickBooks 4 years ago and it came with the payroll module. I've been using it to record my payroll, after calculating the deductions myself. I don't wanna pay extra bucks to calculate CPP, EI and tax for such an easy straight forward payroll. Now it's December and it's time to do a quick reconciliation of CPP, EI and tax. But QuickBooks has locked the payroll module. It feels like they're holding me hostage. They're saying "pay us or redo all your payroll again". What a disgusting way to do business!
I mean, seriously, why would they do that? It's not like I'm not paying for the software. I've been using it for years and now they're just gonna lock me out of the payroll module? That's not fair. And it's not like I'm the only one who's had this problem. I've seen other people complaining about it online.
But despite this issue, I have to say that QuickBooks is a pretty good software. It's easy to use and it has a lot of features that are helpful for small business owners like me. I can keep track of my expenses, invoices, and payments all in one place. And it's really helpful when it comes to tax time.
Overall, I would recommend QuickBooks to other small business owners. Just be aware of the payroll module issue and make sure you're prepared for it. But other than that, it's a great software that can really help you manage your business finances.
Terrible Customer Service and User-Unfriendly App: My Experience with QuickBooks
This QuickBooks app and company is just terrible. I recently started a new corporation and needed to pay myself through payroll. However, when I tried to run payroll for the first time, they put a hold on my account and flagged me as potential fraud. They asked for six months of bank statements, my ID, and business license. I sent them my ID and license, but I tried to explain that since I am a new corporation, I do not have six months of statements. Despite my explanation, they sent me an email stating that my company is a high fraud risk and that they are cancelling my account. They even went as far as to say that they will never allow me to subscribe again. I am just shocked and disappointed by their lack of understanding and customer service.
The QuickBooks app is also not user-friendly. It is difficult to navigate and understand. The interface is cluttered and confusing. It takes a lot of time and effort to figure out how to use it properly. I have wasted so much time trying to figure out how to use it, and I still don't feel like I have a good grasp on it.
Overall, I would not recommend QuickBooks to anyone. Their customer service is terrible, and their app is not user-friendly. It is a waste of time and money. I wish I had chosen a different company to handle my payroll and accounting needs.
Quickbooks Review: Frustrating, Expensive, and Not User-Friendly
Quickbooks is a program that is supposed to make accounting easier, but it seems like they are only interested in making money. The program is not user-friendly and it takes a lot of time to figure out how to use it. The customer service is terrible and they charge you for every little thing. It's frustrating to have to pay for something that should be included in the program.
Another issue with Quickbooks is that they are constantly changing their pricing and plans. It's hard to keep up with what you are paying for and what you are getting. They also have a lot of add-ons that you have to pay for separately, which can add up quickly. It's hard to know what you need and what you don't need.
Overall, I would not recommend Quickbooks. There are other accounting programs out there that are more user-friendly and have better customer service. It's important to do your research before choosing a program and not just go with what your accountant recommends. Don't waste your money on Quickbooks.
QuickBooks Online: A Disappointing Monthly Subscription Model
I've been using QuickBooks for a long time now, and I have to say that the online version just doesn't compare to the standalone program. It's missing a lot of features that you can only get with the more expensive versions, and it's just not as user-friendly. Plus, the fact that you have to pay a monthly fee for it is just ridiculous. I miss the days when you could just buy a piece of software and have it sit on your computer without having to worry about it living on the cloud.
It's clear that Intuit is making a fortune off of this monthly payment system, and it's really frustrating. It feels like we're being cheated and taken advantage of by all of these software companies that are pushing these unnecessary monthly subscriptions. It used to be that when you paid for something, you actually owned it. Now, you're paying so much more for something that you never really own.
I think it's time for us to take a stand against these monthly subscriptions and demand that software companies start offering more affordable options for their customers. We shouldn't have to pay an arm and a leg just to use a piece of software that we need for our businesses. QuickBooks used to be a great program, but now it's just another example of a company trying to squeeze as much money out of its customers as possible.
QuickBooks: A Sweet Deal with a Catch
I gotta say, QuickBooks from Intuit is a pretty sweet deal. I've been using it for my small biz for a whole decade now, and I gotta say, it's made my life a whole lot easier. I mean, it's just so dang simple to use, and it takes care of all the nitty-gritty stuff that I don't have time for. But, I gotta knock off a couple stars because, like a lot of big companies, they've kinda forgotten about the little guy. I mean, they started out as a small business helper, but now they're raising their prices every year like they're some kinda big shot. I use QuickBooks payroll along with my service, and let me tell ya, they're charging over five hundred bucks just to renew your subscription every year. That's just plain crazy, and it's a real shame. If you're thinking about getting QuickBooks, make sure you take a good look at the cost of the software itself, which they make you update every three years or so. And then there's the payroll on top of that, which can really add up. I mean, come on Intuit, you're getting greedy like all the other big corporations out there. Shame on you.
Nightmare Experience with QuickBooks Online: Lack of Support and Broken Promises
I recently decided to give QuickBooks Online a try for my two businesses. The salesperson I spoke with was very friendly and convincing, promising me a 50% discount if I signed up for both accounts and 24/7 live customer support. I was excited to get started and felt confident in my decision.
However, my excitement quickly turned to frustration when I received my confirmation email and saw that there was no discount applied. I tried calling the customer support line, but was met with a robotic voice that wouldn't let me through to a real person. It kept telling me to get support through the website, but no matter how many times I tried to explain that I couldn't log in, it wouldn't listen.
After several hours of trying to get through to customer service, I finally managed to cancel one of my accounts. I then attempted to set up the remaining account, paying extra for set up assistance. Unfortunately, this was a complete waste of time as I still encountered problems. I then tried to use the free support, but the representative was unable to solve my issues and eventually hung up on me after putting me on hold for 20 minutes.
Now, I find myself on hold for over 24 minutes, waiting for someone to maybe call me back. It's incredibly frustrating and I'm starting to regret my decision to use QuickBooks. The lack of support, technical or otherwise, is unacceptable and I would not recommend this service to anyone who needs reliable assistance.
Overall, my experience with QuickBooks has been a nightmare. The promises made by the salesperson were not fulfilled and the support is nonexistent. It's a shame because I had high hopes for this service, but it has let me down in every way possible. If you're considering using QuickBooks, I would advise you to look elsewhere for a more reliable and supportive option.
QuickBooks' Free Version Plagued with Bugs and Glitches: A Review
QuickBooks is a software that offers three levels of tax filing, including a free version. However, it seems that the free version is plagued with software bugs and glitches, which can cause problems for unsuspecting customers. The paying customers, on the other hand, experience fewer glitches and have fewer blanks or boxes left unfilled.
When a customer files with Intuit/QuickBooks, the software supposedly rechecks everything to ensure that everything is complete and correct. However, after the deadline, the IRS/State informs the customer that they left pertinent empty blanks, which were never prompted to fill during the review confirmation. This means that the software does not prompt customers to fill in empty blanks or boxes, which can cause problems during the audit.
It seems that QuickBooks is essentially "forcing" unsuspecting customers who experience problems with last year's taxes to pay for better tier performance this year. This is so that the customer's new filing season is more glitch-free and better than last year's audit. However, this practice is not fair to customers who are not aware of the software's limitations.
In my experience, QuickBooks' software has made mistakes on my taxes in the past, and I will not use their faulty bug-riddled software again. It is not the first time that their software has made mistakes on my taxes, and I have experienced the same scenario a couple of years ago with a couple of good years in-between.
It is important that the FTC, Federal Trade Commission, investigates QuickBooks' practices for other reasons. Hopefully, the FTC can open their can of worms so that honest taxpayers can be righted, and Intuit/QuickBooks can be held responsible.
QuickBooks Complaints 10
Credit card processing
I am a small minority owned business. I use QuickBooks Intuit to process my credit cards using a card swipe purchased from them. On June the 16th the card swipe stopped working. I was able to key in the credit card information but this is a much more expensive process. Swiped I pay 2.97 for a 170.00 purchase. If I have to key in the information, I pay $5.18 for the same 170.00 purchase. For 100.00 swipe - $1.85 vs keyed in $3.15.
I called QuickBooks and spoke with a representative, after much time and investigation, the agent told me it was due to an update on the software and they were working on the issue.
After numerous phone calls, finally on the 17th of July I get an email that the problem has been fixed. Each time I spoke to someone I pointed out their error was costing me more money. One agent said "it's only a dollar". Which it is more but even if it is how many customers do they have. The could be making a million dollars a day.
I have asked numerous times to get reimbursed for the additional charges. They continue to deny to reimburse me for these additional expenses.
Desired outcome: I want them to refund me the additional cost of every transaction. Additionally, give me a credit for the additional time and energy I have spent trying to resolve this problem.
QuickBooks Review: Easy-to-Use Website for Tracking Money and Expenses
I tried QuickBooks and it was pretty good. It helped me keep track of my money and expenses. The website was easy to use and I didn't have any problems with it. I liked how it had different categories for expenses and income. It made it easy to see where my money was going. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a little slow sometimes. But overall, I would recommend it to anyone who needs help with their finances.
QuickBooks Review: A Solid Choice for Small Business Accounting
QuickBooks is a good software for small businesses. It helps to keep track of expenses and income. The interface is simple and easy to use. However, there are some limitations to the software. For example, it does not have a feature to track inventory. This can be a problem for businesses that need to keep track of their inventory.
Another issue is that the software can be slow at times. This can be frustrating when trying to get work done quickly. Additionally, the customer support can be lacking. It can take a while to get a response from customer service.
Despite these issues, QuickBooks is still a good option for small businesses. It is affordable and easy to use. The software is also customizable, which is helpful for businesses with unique needs. Overall, QuickBooks is a solid choice for small businesses looking for a simple accounting solution.

Efficient Accounting with QuickBooks, but Navigation and Set-Up Can Be Challenging
I had a lot of trouble setting up my QuickBooks account and had to rely on YouTube tutorials to figure it out. The website is also a bit confusing and it took me a while to navigate through it. However, once I got the hang of it, QuickBooks has been a lifesaver for my small business. It makes accounting and bookkeeping so much easier and efficient. I love how it automatically categorizes my expenses and income, and generates reports for me. The invoicing feature is also great and saves me a lot of time. Overall, QuickBooks is a great tool for small business owners, but the lack of technical support can be frustrating at times.
Quickbooks Review: User-Friendly but Pricey, Better Options Available
quickbooks is aight, it gets the job done but there's like a million other options out there now that are either free or super cheap. i mean, if you're already used to using quickbooks then it's probably not worth switching over but if you're just starting out or looking for something new, you might wanna check out some of the other options.
one thing i do like about quickbooks is that it's pretty user-friendly. like, even if you're not super tech-savvy, you can probably figure out how to use it pretty quickly. but at the same time, it's not the most customizable software out there. like, you can't really tweak it to fit your specific needs as much as you can with some of the other options.
another thing to keep in mind is that quickbooks can get pretty pricey, especially if you need some of the more advanced features. like, if you're just using it for basic bookkeeping stuff then it's not too bad, but if you need things like inventory management or payroll then it can add up pretty quickly.
overall, i'd say quickbooks is a solid choice if you're already used to it and don't need anything too fancy. but if you're looking for something more customizable or affordable, there are definitely other options out there that might be a better fit for you.
QuickBooks Review: Expensive with Poor Support and Shipping - 4/10
4/10)
I tried QuickBooks for my small business and I gotta say, it's got a wide range of features but it's truly expensive. I had to pay a lot of money just to get started and it's not worth it. The support is not professional at all, they don't really know what they're talking about and it's frustrating. The shipping is also bad, it took forever for my order to arrive. Overall, I'd say it's just average. There are better options out there that won't break the bank.
QuickBooks.com Review: Good Features, But Be Aware of Potential Issues
quickbooks.com is a good company to use for your accounting needs. They have a lot of great features that can help you keep track of your finances. However, there are a few things that you need to be aware of before you start using their services.
First of all, it can be difficult to get in touch with their customer service team. They don't have a phone number that you can call, so you have to rely on their online chat feature. This can be frustrating if you have a problem that needs to be resolved quickly.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the online version of QuickBooks can be a bit glitchy at times. You may experience slow load times or other issues that can make it difficult to use the software.
If you're looking for a more reliable option, then you may want to consider using the desktop version of QuickBooks. This version is more stable and has fewer issues than the online version.
Overall, quickbooks.com is a good company to use for your accounting needs. Just be aware of the potential issues that you may encounter and be prepared to work around them.
Disappointing Customer Service and Lack of Support for Older Software: A QuickBooks Review
QuickBooks used to be a great service, but lately it's been a bit of a hassle. The customer service representatives have been slow to respond and not very friendly. I tried to download the ADMIN rest to access data from 2009, but they refused to allow it. Apparently, they no longer support old software and I was told that I needed to upgrade. This is frustrating because I really need the data from the prior software.
I understand that technology is constantly evolving, but it's disappointing when companies don't make an effort to accommodate their customers. It seems like QuickBooks is more concerned with pushing their new products than helping their existing customers.
Overall, I would recommend looking into other options before committing to QuickBooks. The lack of support for older software and poor customer service make it difficult to trust this company.
QuickBooks Review: Reliable Financial Management with Some Quirks and Customer Support Issues
I've been using QuickBooks for a while now and I must say, it's a pretty decent program. Although it can be a bit slow at times and has some quirks, it's still better than most other programs out there. However, I've had some trouble with subscribing to online backup and other features that just don't seem to work. I've tried multiple times to get them to work, but to no avail.
Despite these issues, I still find QuickBooks to be a reliable program for managing my finances. It's easy to use and has a lot of helpful features that make it a great tool for small business owners like myself. The interface is simple and straightforward, which makes it easy to navigate and find what you need.
One thing I do wish QuickBooks had was better customer support. It can be difficult to get in touch with someone when you have a problem or question, and when you do, the response time can be slow. This can be frustrating when you're trying to get something done quickly.
Overall, I would recommend QuickBooks to anyone looking for a solid financial management program. It may have its quirks and issues, but it's still one of the best options out there. Just be prepared to deal with some customer support headaches and occasional glitches.
QuickBooks Review: A Game-Changer for Freelancers and Small Business Owners
I gotta say, QuickBooks is a lifesaver for me as a freelancer. I've been using it for the past few years and it's made my accounting and bookkeeping so much easier. I used to dread tax season, but now I can just export all my data and send it off to my accountant without any hassle.
The website itself is pretty straightforward and easy to navigate. I had no trouble setting up my account and linking it to my bank account. Plus, the customer support is pretty responsive if you ever have any issues.
One thing I will say is that the pricing can be a bit confusing. There are different tiers and add-ons that can add up quickly. But overall, I think it's worth the investment for the time and stress it saves me.
I did have one weird experience where a customer wanted to pay me through QuickBooks instead of PayPal or another platform. They offered to reimburse me for any fees, but I was a bit skeptical at first. However, I did some research and it turns out that QuickBooks does offer a payment processing service. I ended up going through with it and it worked out fine.
Overall, I highly recommend QuickBooks for any freelancers or small business owners out there. It's a game-changer for managing your finances.
