Redeem Vacations review: Redeem vacations is extremely shady!

On July 20 I spent $196.20 on a vacation to Cancun Mexico for five nights, which would’ve been amazing! my husband and I were so excited we are going to go in 2024, December 10 my birthday. Long story short I took a trip to Branson Missouri and after my trip they gave me a vacation voucher with Redeem vacation. I went to the Redeem vacation site to put in my dates for a vacation to South Carolina Myrtle Beach and they offered me a second vacation, the one to Cancun Mexico. I redeemed my South Carolina vacation perfectly fine set my dates. Everything is good with that one. I contacted customer service after trying to set my dates for my Mexico vacation because, the page was not letting me go through with finalizing the vacation. Mind you they have no telephone number only live chats. I let them know that they gave me two vacations at the same time, and I thought I would use them in the same year, one in March and one in December 2024. I did not know that you can only use one vacation every 12 months. I didn’t think of that because they let me pay for two vacations that I would’ve had to activate with an 18 months. And they did this knowing that in their policy, you can only activate one vacation every 12 months. have to talk to a live chat person for a while to understand what was going on and why I couldn’t use my vacation. They did say that they’re gonna send me a refund. Hopefully they do and I’ll update if I actually get that. so my husband and I are pretty devastated that we no longer get a Cancun vacation but are very glad to not deal with Redeem Vacations anymore. They are very shady business and I am very skeptical going forward with the South Carolina vacation because of this. So just be careful, in my opinion, I would not use Redeem Vacations ever again!
