Refijet Representative contacted me excessively only to make false promises about refinancing rates and offers

Representative contacted me excessively only to make false promises about refinancing rates and offers. After I ACCEPTED an offer, loan term, all the little details they came back with my credit file is too thin. Never once mentioned that being an issue. They did multiple hard credit checks and then went back on their offer. Completely unprofessional. Quit responding and locked my out of my online portal. I couldve went with one of the other twenty companies that wouldve actually delivered. I do not recommend this company.

Dealing with Refijet has been a nightmare. I was assigned *** for the car refinancing and she failed us. From misleading information, ruining my credit by delaying all matters to lack of courtesy, unprofessionalism, avoiding our messages to ultimately dropping the ball with our process. If you can avoid this Refijet/ ***, do yourself the favor and don't waste your time which is valuable when you have urgency.

Refijet While I am well aware of where I am financially I applied to refinance our current car loan with this company

While I am well aware of where I am financially I applied to refinance our current car loan with this company. I was told it was approved and everything looked great and they were just waiting for terms and rates but that the loan had been approved. I received a call about 30 minutes later saying that it had not been approved unless I came up with a 9k down payment. I am nowhere near upside down on the vehicle. Had I known this is how they do business I would not have allowed them to pull my credit report that did not need the additional hit to the score. Again, I am well aware of where I am credit wise but feel like this is very misleading.

Refijet DO NOT USE THEM!

DO NOT USE THEM! THEY ALMOST GOT ME! I was going to use them to refinance because they had a rate lower then what Im paying now. Right when I was ready to sign the lady calls me and says they have to add $1700 for state taxes. So of course I start questioning it and she says *** is one of those *** thats weird and makes you pay 6% taxes. I already bought the vehicle and paid taxes when I originally bought it. So I find a DMV specialist and she looks it all over and says its a scam also I started looking at the price breakdown and they didnt even have the correct payoff amount. DO NOT USE THEM! I have copys of the paperwork if anyone wants to see!

This Company is a nightmare bordering on harassment. They never stop calling even after promising to take you from the call list! For that reason, I would never, ever use them.

I signed up with Credit Karma and followed the steps for possible pre-qualification refinance on my vehicle. While I understand I submitted my information, 87 calls within two days (37 of these within 6 minutes and many many more over the last week) from these people is unacceptable, and, in my opinion, this is harassment. After reading other reviews, it seems I am not alone in this harassment. At this point, I do not care if they offered me a 0% interest rate; I would NEVER do business with this company. Period.I finally had a minute to call back and request not to be contacted again and was told this was no problem...as I am writing this, I have received three more calls.

I was working with *** on my refinance. Everything was fine until after I sent in the paperwork. I sent in my signed loan documents at the beginning of the month. I have yet to receive any follow up or guidance after both calling, texting, and emailing ***. No one in the company seems to help or care. Im just at a loss and have no clue what is going on. Stay away from this company! There are much better companies to work with out there.

Refijet 0 stars if that was an option

0 stars if that was an option. I refinanced in September and was told that I did not have to pay any sales tax on my car. 7 months later they are saying I owe 1,600 dollars to the MVA so I can receive my title when I ask for the recordings of my calls I get a response that someone with call me in a couple of days. I spoke to April S. She was no help at all, told me that MVA recently changed their policy. When I called MVA they said this policy has been in place forever and has not recently changed about using gift affidavit when your not married. She was very rude and when I asked for her managers number Pattie Cabrera she put me on hold then hung up and will not return my calls. I will continue to call everyday 3x per day. Do not use this company.

Refijet I refinanced my Mini auto loan with RefiJet

I refinanced my Mini auto loan with RefiJet. At the time of refinancing, the agent offered me insurance coverage for auto parts that might break down (not due to normal wear and tear). I accepted the offer and purchased the coverage. After a few months of payments, I decided to have the coverage canceled. I called RefiJet and the agent told me that he would initiate a cancel request with Veritas Global Protection because that is who is providing the coverage. When I asked if I could call Veritas Global directly he said "No, if you could, I would have listed that as one of the options." When I hung up, I looked up Veritas, found the phone number, called and talked to an agent who told me how to cancel the coverage. The rude, misleading agent at RefiJet is named ***.

Refijet I tried to prequalify for a lease buyout via a link from Nerdwallet

I tried to prequalify for a lease buyout via a link from Nerdwallet. Received a promising offer over the phone, said I needed to get the exact buyout package from the dealer. I emailed that the next day, uploaded all my other documents, called, emailed and texted the rep who gave me her email. I have not heard a thing since giving them my information, 6 days later. Meanwhile the dealer is hounding me every day to do the lease buyout through them. I dont have time to shop around with multiple lenders so Im considering just going with the dealers own financing even though I know they have.l zero incentive to give me a good deal and Ill be paying $50/ month more per month than my lease payments. Do not recommend wasting your time with this company. Someone please tell Nerdwallet.

Refijet In a week, they called me 15 times from 15 different numbers

In a week, they called me 15 times from 15 different numbers. I called them back to get put on a do not call list and the very helpful guy said no problem! Then they called the next day. So I called back and a very rude woman told me there was no way to do that. She offered to transfer me to a supervisor and I stated that would be perfect. Once the call connected, it hung up. I called again, a nice person named *** told me he himself couldnt put me on a do not call list but he said he could transfer me to someone who could better help. The person who answered the phone wanted a bunch of my personal information in order to make sure I dont get called again. I was able to just provide my first name and phone number and she said she sent the message along. I have a sinking suspicion theyre going to call me again tomorrow. I will never give them my business and I will tell people to avoid them at all possible costs.

Refijet I was encouraged to refinance my car through CreditKarma, which gave them some credibility for me, which turned out to be a mistake

I was encouraged to refinance my car through CreditKarma, which gave them some credibility for me, which turned out to be a mistake. RefiJet's website leads you to believe you can get pre-qualified in minutes online, which is not the case.After filling out their form, they called me and after minutes after I providing my and my wife's car info, personal info, and phone numbers, we both immediately received the same spam text message about "winning a lottery". I have been receiving spam texts ever since. This was the first red flag. They got back to me after a few days in a voicemail, with a refi offer on a completely different vehicle - year and model - than the one we provided all the info for. Second red flag.After calling them back and providing the correct info, I never heard back from them. I tried texting them back, but never received a response.All in all, my experience with RefiJet resulted in both mine and my wife's phone numbers being given to spam callers and marketers, hits on both of our credit scores for hard credit checks, and our vehicle still needing to be refinanced. Hard pass on this company.

Refijet I think that the load officers at this company are all new

I think that the load officers at this company are all new. I got Rosa calling me from a Colorado number. She was very friendly, however, after submitting multiple requests for documentation which may or may not have included bloodwork and a colonoscopy result that dragged out over a period of about 2 weeks, she advised me that it was a "done deal" other than I needed to make a significant payment to principal on my current auto loan due to negative equity I had there. It took me about a week to make arrangements to do that with the expectation that this step was the only thing holding me back from finalization of my new financing. I made that payment and notified Rosa. She is now not replying very promptly and days go by before she tells me that she now needs to "resubmit" my application. Wait...what? I thought it was a "done deal" Rosa. Now she is saying my rate will be a little higher than previously quoted. Oh, no...now we need to put someone else on the loan. So, apparently Rosa doesn't seem to understand what "done deal" means. Now that I have paid out in excess of $1100 for a single car payment this month to cover my regular payment and the payment to principal that I would not have normally made and really could not afford to make I am in the same situation I was in before...only behind on other bills. Thank you Rosa. Please learn to be more truthful with other potential customers. That was quite a lot of wasted time and it will take me a minute to dig out of the financial hole caused by Rosa's premature "done deal" statement. Lets not even talk about the multiple hard inquiries on my credit due to their submissions over a period of 3 weeks.

Refijet Found Refijet (RJ) via a recommendation from Nerdwallet (which up until now I considered a fairly reputable source)

Found Refijet (RJ) via a recommendation from Nerdwallet (which up until now I considered a fairly reputable source). RJ encourages you to pre-qualify through their online portal. I went through the motions of the process, but unlike most pre-qualifications, I did not receive an automatic yes/no regarding my ability to qualify. Instead, they had a rep *** me via phone (almost immediately) to collect additional information. I obliged with the additional information and towards the end of the call, the rep asked for my full social security number. I told her that I did NOT want to go through a full application process if there was no chance that I would be approved. My specific reason for the pre-approval process was just that. She told me that she saw a number of "green checkmarks", indicating my odds of approval with those particular lenders was pretty high. As a result of her prompting, I provided my SS# to complete the application. She also advised that I needed to submit additional information (DL, insurance, registration, etc.), which I did. Afterward, I called RJ back, because their portal for document upload is not very user-friendly and I wanted to make sure that my docs had been received. The rep I spoke to (***), couldn't tell me if my documents had been received, but he could tell me that my application had been rejected. What?! The reasons he gave were reasons that absolutely would've been identified via a soft-pull inquiry. Now, I have 2 additional hard pulls on my credit. I'm in the process of fixing my credit and an overall financial overhaul - now, thanks to this sham of a company, my credit score is going to take a substantial hit. RefiJet is a SCAM - with a business model that is probably only concerned with the number of people that can push to lenders. Do yourself a favor and stay away!

Refijet I want to give an infinite amount of stars!

I want to give an infinite amount of stars! The persons we worked with were not pushy, not misleading, very helpful, very honest, and honestly the best! We got a pre-qual through using LendingTree's website after doing mass amount of research. We got several offers, and Refijet immediately called us, funny story that we didn't even have time to look at the pre-qual offer. We hesitantly answered the phone expecting another door slammed in our face. The agent went over our "approval" and asked if we are ready for the next steps, we decided to go for it. We were transferred to the finance personal (like going to a dealership and you are now in the finance office) He re-asked the same questions to make sure that everything was correct to the best of our knowledge. He then ended the call by letting us know with our "approval" it was now time to send information off to the lender for the official approval. Anxiously waiting we heard back from him around 12 hours later (due time zone difference) and he gave us the best news! The pre-qual lender did not accept the loan however they got another lender to accept it. The pre-qual APR was roughly ***% (we were thinking "Yay, ok" with an eye roll) Well HOT *** the lender approved with a ***% I will be open honest that my fianc and I are refinancing the vehicle to get the loan out of my name and into his only. He has a bankruptcy from a few years ago and was able to get this amazing deal! Every person we spoke to has been very helpful, very responsive, and I am just at a loss for words of how great of an experience this was. The process was seamless. Uploading documents was easy, signing the loan was easy, and having a prepaid mailing label to send back documents that cant be electronically signed was easy. WOW WOW WOW JUST WOW! Thank you for all your help from everyone that we worked with, Such an amazing team!

I wish I would have looked at these reviews before allowing this FRAUDULENT company to negatively impact my credit. This disastrous experience first began on 8/14 after I finally decided to no longer ignore my inbox full of Lending Tree emails about available offers of refinancing my vehicle. I spoke to a rep who initially pre-qualified me for an offer. I then get transferred to a rep named Ryan. He provided his number ending0597. I followed up with him on 8/18 for an update. He responded on 8/20 that he was working on the approval. I still didn't hear anything so I called 3 times on 9/04 leaving a voicemail message. I still did not hear back from Ryan. I called again on 9/06 and still did not hear from Ryan. At this point I am frustrated. On 9/09 I found another number to call and this time was connected to a rep named Nick. I did not think I was talking to Refijet because Nick was not professional answering the call. But he later assured me that it was Refijet. He provided his number ending1362. Nick agent advised me that he didn't see any application for me initially but then he found some information that the last agent Ryan did not fully complete the process. Nick informed me that I may be required to pay a downpayment. I informed Nick I was not interested in a downpayment. But then Nick said if a downpayment is needed it maybe a couple hundred dollars at the most not over $300 or $500. He then convinced me he could work out a deal credit report was ran all for NOTHING! Nick texted me later in the day and informed me that a downpayment of $1100 -$1300 was being asked I told Nick never mind and to close the application. I didn't know that this is the standard sales pitch for this type of company to over promise and lack of follow up. Although Nick followed he did over promise what he could do. I am disputing the credit report for 8/14 of which the agent Ryan did not complete an application. I would not have had another inquiry ran if Ryan would have just provided me with the update on if his application had been completed. STAY AWAY FROM REFIJET!

Refijet Extended Warranty

I refinanced my vehicle in April of 23 and they talked me into cancelling my Mopar warranty because there’s was so much better. I traded in my vehicle in September of 23 and have been waiting on my refund for my extended warranty. I decided to check back in with them today and received a call back that my cancellation was denied. The lady was no help and told me once it’s denied they can’t touch it anymore. I called AUL and they said that Refijet is holding my $2k. This is so not cool! I want my money back!

Claimed loss: $2,000

Refijet I sent a request to cancel my extended warranty and GAP coverage on 23JULY

I sent a request to cancel my extended warranty and GAP coverage on 23JULY . I called the following week to verify it was received. It was received and processed on 27JULY2020. I was told it would take six to eight weeks to receive my refund. On 22SEP2020 - called the insurance providers and discovered: the refunds were sent to ReFiJet by the second week in August . I called ReFiJet to locate my refund - I was told it is still processing and they could not locate my payoff letter from the bank. I emailed another payoff letter. The total for both refunds is in excess of $3,000.00. They have had the funds for over a month and can not tell me when they will complete the process. They are "holding" customer funds and delaying the refund process. I seek resolution.

These people are CROOKS. I paid off my car loan very early and have been attempting to contact them about a refund I am due on both the service contract and GAP insurance I purchased when I financed the vehicle. They owe me over $3000. The extension for their *** does not work; and when you attempt to speak to anyone at another extension, they either hang up on you or leave you on hold for over an hour to no avail. They do not respond to *** Certified Mail with all necessary documents (including an affidavit) to process the refund either. Basically, they leave you with no option to contact them about a refund due.

I refinanced my auto loan through RefiJet. Throughout the process, the rep helping me pressured me to overnight documents with the assurance the costs for notary, scanning, and printing would be reimbursed, as well as sending me a $50 gift card if these things were done by the end of the month (which they were). I submitted the required receipts and while my refinancing went smoothly, I never received the promised reimbursement or $50 gift card.

Hello, I was offered multiple refinance offers for my vehicle with about the same rates however, I went with refi jet because they said they had found me an offer where I would have 90 days without a payment. First payment was supposed to be in July however I checked online and my payment is already due this month on the 18th of may. I contacted refi jet and they said It showed on their end that the payment was not due until July and they blamed all the issues on their system well today I received another email stating my payment is in fact due on may 18th I had contacted refi jet and they said nothing can be done and now ignore me. The only reason I went with them instead of one of the other companies was the 90 day payment delay. I wish to file a complaint for false advertising and false claims. I have documents to prove my claim.

Paid 395 dollars in transaction fee that *** indicates is used for processing loan that included following up with finance company and the customer. I personally had to do the following up on getting status of the loan, over 85% of the emails on status where from me asking the status and finally calling the finance company to find out the status of the loan. I understand *** still needs to process title documents and believe they need part of that 395 dollars to do that but I believe I need to be reimbursed 195 dollars due to their failed commitment in properly following up on the loan and keeping properly informed on the status.

I requested a quote to refinance my car and many companies called me for about two weeks, and when I found the loan I needed, I kept receiving calls from Refijet, every day, ten times a day and messages too. I requested them to stop calling me, and even I created a special greeting for this company, indicating I had found my loan and that they did not need to keep calling me.That was in December , and now January 26th., *** even when I blocked their numbers and requested to stop calling. The company has people with different telephone numbers, and they still are calling and bothering me.This is a bad and unprofessional company and action should be taken against them.

Refijet advertises 2.49% auto refinances on their website. After spending 30 minutes of my time on the phone with their representatives, they informed me that the best rate that any of their lenders were currently offering was just over 3%. My credit score is nearly perfect, I have an extremely low debt to income ratio, and I tried to get them to offer different terms rates, a lower LTV ratio to do anything to get the rate near what was advertised. The representative again told me that none of their lenders were close to the 2.49 rate advertised and wanted to know where I was getting my information. I pointed her to the landing page for their website and she told me it was just wrong and she would file a note internally to update. I believe this company is advertising false information on their website in order to generate call traffic.

I refinanced my auto loan through refijet and purchased an extended warranty on my vehicle. The representative that I worked with *** insured me that I was getting a bumper to bumper extended warranty. After taking the car to get warranty work done I was advised I had received a lesser warranty and the work needed wasn't covered. I have since been in contact with *** and she reassured me multiple times that it was going to be fixed. I also have text messages from her stating that everything was resolved and then later found out it is still *** in the air. I have yet to receive a refund or the full warranty that I was expecting.

I refinanced my car with Refijet in March and they were supposed to take care of all the paperwork, including the title transfer with the bank. About 3 weeks ago I received a notice from the bank telling me they have not received the Title and that I would soon be out of compliance. I talked to Nicholas M and he told me that my title transfer had "fallen in the cracks" and that he would take care of the issue and would update me that same day. It has been 15 days and I still have not heard from him or had any updates. When I call Refijet they keep transferring me to his voicemail and saying there is nothing I can and no one I can speak with other than him. I need this resolved ASAP and if I fall out of compliance with the bank, I expect whatever fees associated with this to be reimbursed to me due to your negligence in fulfilling your part of the deal.

Stated there would be a delay in Title work upwards of 6 weeks which was acceptable to me because i didn't need to drive the car. However almost 4 months have gone by and i dont have a registration or tag yet? This is complete incompetence. Ive made 3 payments about to make my 4th and cant drive car? I called and they blame on me, they had my insurance coverage from day 1, which they also made me pay up front. Very disappointed, how can they not have an expedite process for this? I've shelled out thousands for a decorative automobile. Ive been chasing them from day one. They don't care

I traded in a vehicle that was refinanced through refi jet they put gap on the vehicle. I was told once the vehicle was paid and i sent proof of payoff i was to recieve the prorated gap insurance refund i sent them all the info. Its been 8 weeks i have not recieved it after they told me i would ive called left messages sent emails all to which were ignored.

Refijet Contacted insurance for a GAP coverage refund after loan payoff

Recently reached out to an insurance company for a refund of my GAP coverage. I paid off the loan as of Aug 20, 2021. After being redirected three times, I was instructed to contact the responsible department. I got in touch with them on September 22. A representative confirmed the payoff and account satisfaction. He assured me that he would place me in the queue for the refund team to follow up. Given the company's reputation for poor service, I proactively called back on Aug 23. I was advised to await customer service outreach. Despite some confusion, I clarified that they are responsible for refunds. I anticipate a lengthy, circular process before possibly receiving my refund. I'm lodging this complaint to preempt further delays. This company's management is highly inefficient. Consider this experience before engaging with their services.

Refijet I began working with Refijet in an attempt to refinance my auto loan

I began working with Refijet in an attempt to refinance my auto loan. I was initially offered a refinance opportunity, but fell through due to a mortgage from my previous marriage that was never transferred out of my name. I was told that another lender would approve me, but a second credit check would be needed. I filled out the necessary paperwork in February immediately after it was requested. I worked with Kathleen W. I was never able to contact her directly by phone as it always went straight to voicemail. Contact with Kathleen was through text a majority of the time. I was initially told I received an offer, with the second lender, but the monthly payment changed twice. I was told that the application went to funding and that it usually was recieved by the original lender in a matter of days. Now I am unable to find out the status. Kathleen says she has no information. Kathleen told me to contact a Ryan, but was unanswered after several voicemails were left.

Upon agreeing to terms with RefiJet regarding refinancing my car, I was told by the employee, Justin, that if I next day aired out the contract and had it notarized that I would receive a $50 *** gift card. He said usually the recommended business would have a notary on sight that can do it for free, not the case, I had to pay around $10. The gift card was relayed to me a couple of times as an incentive to mail the contract back to them as soon as possible. After about a month, I called to inquire about the gift card. I was told that they would check into it and get back to me, which they never did. I waited another 3 months, still nothing, I reached out again and talked to a representative named JT who said he would look into it and never got back in touch with me. I waited another week and called again and spoke to another representative named Justin, but a different Justin than I previously spoke with. While on the phone, he said he was putting me on hold so he could speak to a manager while I was waiting. After several minutes he said the manager agreed to send me the gift code via email and would go out right away and if I didn't receive it right away to call him back on the direct phone number that he text me. I waited until the next day, still no email, so I called back and Justin said he spoke with the manager again and that he would take care of it right away. I still haven't received anything. What kind of business is this?

Refijet I inquired about refinancing my vehicle in March with Lending Tree and was contacted by a company called RefiJet

I inquired about refinancing my vehicle in March with Lending Tree and was contacted by a company called RefiJet. They were able to secure me an acceptable rate to refinance my loan so I went through the process with them. The refinance process went relatively smoothly and in the process they sold me a *** contract as well as an *** service contract. I was told that I could cancel these items at any time. Earlier this year (February 2022) I decided to sell my vehicle and wanted to cancel these two contracts. I followed the instructions in the original contract and mailed the required documentation to the company listed on the contract. This first request was sent approximately February 7, 2022. I did receive a refund on the *** contract in the amount of $832.90 that was applied to my loan on 2/18/2022, so they clearly received the documents. I still have not received a refund on the *** service contract as of 4/17/2022. I resent the requested documents to both addresses listed on the contract (seems deceiving to list two different addresses on the same contract). The second request was sent on 3/16/2022. I sent these certified so I know one was received by the company. The other was returned to me with an insufficient address sticker. This was the exact address listed in the contract. I have since tried to call on three separate occasions to see if there was anything they needed to process this. I either get a voicemail that is unreturned, or I get placed on hold for 20 minutes only to be disconnected. All I want is a refund on this contract so I can sell my vehicle. It has been over 8 weeks since my initial written request and I included my contact information in the documentation in case they needed anything I had not provided.

This disastrous experience first began on 8/14 after I finally decided to no longer ignore my inbox full of Lending Tree emails about available offers of refinancing my vehicle. I spoke to a rep who initially pre-qualified me for an offer. I then get transferred to a rep named ***. He provided his number 720-***. I followed up with him on 8/18 for an update. He responded on 8/20 that he was working on the approval. I still didn't hear anything so I called 3 times on 9/04 leaving a voicemail message. I still did not hear back from ***. I called again on 9/06 and still did not hear from ***. At this point I am frustrated. On 9/09 I found another number to call and this time was connected to a rep named ***. I did not think I was talking to Refijet because *** was not professional answering the call. But he later assured me that it was Refijet. He provided his number 720-***. *** agent advised me that he didn't see any application for me initially but then he found some information that the last agent *** did not fully complete the process. *** informed me that I may be required to pay a downpayment. I informed *** I was not interested in a downpayment. But then *** said if a downpayment is needed it maybe a couple hundred dollars at the most not over $300 or $500. He then convinced me he could work out a deal credit report was ran all for NOTHING! *** texted me later in the day and informed me that a downpayment of $1100 -$1300 was being asked I told *** never mind and to close the application. I didn't know that this is the standard sales pitch for this type of company to over promise and lack of follow up. Although *** followed he did over promise what he could do. I am disputing the credit report for 8/14 of which the agent *** did not complete an application. I would not have had another inquiry ran if *** would have just provided me with the update on if his application had been completed. STAY AWAY FROM REFIJET!

Refijet My loan representative was unhelpful and inefficient

My loan representative was unhelpful. He walked me through the steps for refinancing my vehicle in July . My initial contact with the representative began on 7/22 via text message. He said I was approved by Premiere Members Credit Union on 7/24. I went to my local UPS store on 7/25 to drop off and fax my documents. All required documents were uploaded through the RefiJet portal. However, the credit union requested additional proof of income, which I had already provided. The delay was due to the representative's supervisor not reviewing the documentation. I canceled my loan on 8/18 due to these issues after expressing my concerns starting 8/17. I requested a cancellation document, but was told none existed. I wanted proof since I had essentially signed over my car to the bank. The representative also promised to reimburse my faxing fees with a $50 gift card on 8/19, which I never received. Despite multiple calls and messages, I received no response. I have detailed records of all communications. His office number ends with -1415. Additionally, I found it odd that the bank sent a denial letter on 8/18, citing credit file issues, despite earlier approval. The representative had mentioned in July that my application was initially denied, then approved by Premiere Members Credit Union. The subsequent denial after my cancellation seems like an attempt to cover up his errors. I also fault my loan rep for confusion over the documents and my income details, which required numerous follow-ups about my loan's status.

Refijet I received a "referral" to RefiJet by an undisclosed source.

I received a "referral" to RefiJet by an undisclosed source. I plan on reporting this experience with them as well as here. I was seeking a refinance for my existing auto loan. I was bombarded by several potential lenders, seeking my business. The only reason I chose RefiJet was because lending tree had them as their top source. The initial conversations were prompt, and thorough. It definitely put me at ease, and they answered any inquiries I had. I will say they were very sneaky about how they presented the "upselling" tactics, to include the extended warranty options. I was led to believe that the existing warranty I already had on my car would be refunded ... as though it were not a choice to just retain my warranty as it stood. I still had a LONG time left on mine, so obviously I wanted to retain it, but that wasn't mentioned. I had to do my own research to discover this fact. So on to the moment when it was time to sign, I proceeded to sign all of the online documents, and then they agreed to send me the other documents that would require a hard ink signature. This was on a Thursday, and I was assured that if they didn't go out that day, they would go out the NEXT day and it would be an OVERNIGHT package. Friday came, Saturday came, Monday came, and still NO documents. I should have received them Saturday. I texted, and called. The rep I had worked with seemed "concerned" and said he didn't know why the papers didn't arrive. Finally, late Tue, the papers arrived in a nearly destroyed document packet from UPS, that looked like it had been run over by a truck a few times. Wednesday I had the documents signed and on their way back to Denver. I was told on Friday, Aug. 28th that my documents DID in fact arrive the day before, on Aug. 27th. RefiJet basically fell silent after this date. I figured I would be hearing soon from the NEW host to my refinance, which was a credit union in Iowa. It took forever for any communication to arrive. But it was on September 17, that I received a very disturbing phone call from my original loan holder. The rep there said "where is your payment from Aug. 28?. I have a credit score of 822, and to hear a question like this sent me into panic mode. I asked him "are you saying you have not received a full payoff from RefiJet"? He said no, we have received nothing. I flew into action. What has transpired since is nothing shy of a circus. I spoke to the new credit union lender who was supposed to be servicing my new loan, and they couldn't answer me as to why my payment had not occurred. They were no help at all. So I then turned back to RefiJet. Only to be told that yes, they actual broker the payoff to my original lender, but that payment for "some reason" didn't get sent to them until Sept. 10 (remember, they had my papers on Aug. 28). So then a "finance supervisor" got involved. I was then notified that my loan had now accrued a late fee of around $80. RefiJet told me that they would have to get "approval" to cover that late fee. I told them there was no way I would ever pay that late fee, nor should I be asked to. I also was asked by RefiJet whether I could go ahead and just make a payment to my original lender, while they researched where the payoff check was, and so as to avoid MY CREDIT being hit with a 30 past due...I told them absolutely not. After much back and forth, and upon MY request, the rep initiated a replacement check to be overnighted to my original lender the next day (Friday Sept. 18), which would include the penalty fee. I called my original lender Tues. Sept 22, to find out the status of my loan and whether the payment was processed. The girl there proceeded to tell me they did receive a check, but it was the original amount of the payoff, and was missing the penalty fee. Just in order to zero out my account, I went ahead and gave my original lender my checking account info to debit the final late fee. I have since been in touch with RefiJet to update them on this status of the original check showing up, and not the replacement check. It is my fear, that the original check will have a stop payment on it, and then it will be reversed against my loan, and we will be back to square one with a potential insult on my credit score. I want resolution with RefiJet and assurance that I will be reimbursed for the penalty fee that was accrued due to their negligence to pay my loan off in a timely manner. I was told yesterday that management would be contacting me (Tue. Sept. 22). I did not hear from anyone. Overall this has turned out to be a horrible experience.
