Regal Cinemas review: Summerville, SC

On 12/28/23 @ 8:10p for 8:20 pm show at Summerville, SC Regal Azalea. Hello,

We recently went to one of your theaters in Summerville, SC (Azalea) to view COLOR PURPLE. When we arrived at 8:1pm for the advertised 8:20pm showing we noticed there weren't ANY POSTERS advertising outside or inside! When we went in we noticed the lobby was REALLY dirty! Popcorn/wrappers/napkins all over the floor! People (theater staff were standing around, on phones & talking to each other behind the concession stand), except for 1 waiting on the line of people. She was professional & patient! The counter where the butter dispenser is at was greasy & sloppy! There was a young black man pushing the trash cart around.., they ALL seemed oblivious of their surrounding conditions! I asked to speak to the Manger, to ask her why there weren't any posters for Color Purple, her response "It's not our decision" asked her "who's decision is it? Her response "Corporate decides", my response "how is it posters are up for releases in August 2024?" "Corporate makes the decision" we went to sit in our seats waiting for the show to start! It didn't start until 8:55p! The theater smelled like mildew! When we came out to use the bathroom, we were greeted with a disgustingly DIRTY bathroom! Considering the cost of 4 tickets, PATRONS should NEVER have to tolerate those conditions! That's one of the reasons we don't frequent your theaters!
