Money sent to India (Indian Bank) on sep 11 2023
Delivered 18 sep 2023 (took 7 days and many calls to customer care)
Even when it said its delivered it wasn’t deposited to the recipient bank account. I called Remitly and provided bank statements and they assured that they will resolve it. After 48 hours I called again and the customer service said the same thing that the money is delivered when clearly its not. They simply ignored the concern and didn’t do anything about it. If they have checked with the recipient’s bank they didn’t ask the proof? I checked with the recipient and they didn’t receive it and they have bank statements to prove it. They visited the bank and tried customer care of the bank (they waited 2 hours on line to connect with an agent with no luck)
No one at Remitly seems to be serious and they don’t under that they are responsible for end to end transaction.
I am still struggling with this to resolve. Once done I don’t think I’ll use remitly in future
Desired outcome: Remitly - please get the transaction completed and money sent to the recipient’s account
