Chefs Depot BAD COOKWARE

I am highly disappointed in SWISS DIAMOND COOK WARE COMPANY AND the website CHEF DEPOT>>which are the people who sold me the cookware products. after six months the cookware showed signs of little scratches and peeling, also the bottom of the pans were discolored..they should have been under warranty! according to the paperwork i received with them..
The owner of Chefs Depot assured me that Swiss Diamond cookware was the best you can buy. and at $650.00 plus other fees
they were WRONG> and Chefs depots customer service people were the rudest on the phone. and in emails.
when i emailed Chef Depot about the cook ware they sold me they did not respond to me for two months..then after ten emails they responded by saying ... send it back to the Company SWISS DIAMOND
they will warranty your cookware.
that's was a joke!
I sent my cookware set back and it took Swiss Diamond Cookware Company five weeks and ten phone calls later and me checking on where is my cookware set...
They told me there is nothing wrong with my cookware..they will not warranty the product..that
Swiss Diamond company is not responsible...
WHAT A JOKE!
I do not will not ever recommend THE CHEF DEPOT AND OR SWISS DIAMOND COOKWARE..
they are rude and they do not stand behind their product
not good business in this economy..

Chefs Depot dishonest

On a Sunday after speaking to a friend I ordered a set of knives from Chefdepot. The knives were advertised as the famous Haiku knives made in small factories in Japan. When I called my friend and told him about the good deal I had found he started laughing saying "you have been scammed, you bought the same knives you could buy at Wal- Mart" Immediately I canceled the order (within a couple of hours of placing it) I got an email from Chefdepot saying they were going to keep part of my money, the order was over eight hundred dollars. Then when I called the next morning to make certain the order was canceled some man took the phone from the young lady with whom I was speaking and began ranting about "what kind of guy orders something and then turns around and cancels the order!" These people are nuts and obviously desperate for money.

One of the Chefs here with a few thoughts for you all to chew on. When you are ready to place an order, call or email and ask questions. Let me tell you about this crazy old coot, he is nuttier than a barn owl with 1 eye drinking whisky. He placed the order, we shipped him HAIKU knives, MADE IN JAPAN, then he cancelled order after we shipped them to him. I think he fell off the rocker. Chef Depot.com is an honest company, owned by Chefs. We strive to sell Made in the USA and quality items.

I bought some amazing GLOBAL knives from them, building up my set. Chefs Depot was very helpful and the prices were great.

You should inform yourself BEFORE placing an order! You probably don't understand that it costs that company money to refund you, simply because you didn't bother to do you research. So, it makes sense for them to charge a cancellation fee. Do your homework!

Chef Depot is great! I have ordered knives, blocks and sharpeners from Chefdepot.com and never had a problem. Orders always arrived fast and packed well.
