Clearly Fit Labs Citratone "free" trial

I completed a survey on a website that I trust and use often, and in return, I was offered a free trial product, with the exception of paying for shipping and handling. I decided to give it a go and put in my information for this trial product, citratone. I got a confirmation email and was told the product would be delivered in 5-7 business days, which it was, but I was not informed that this "free" trial only lasted for 14 days, after which I would be charged for not cancelling my account. Nearly two months later I was charged for not cancelling this trial, and when I called to complain, the woman on the other line told me that it was all stated in the terms and conditions that she assured me I had read and checked. However I did not see and terms and conditions, nor have I ever even seen this company's webpage. I explained to her that I was told that it was a free trial product for completing a survey and that I was unaware of this trial period that I supposedly signed up for. I did not receive any reminder emails or newsletters, so i'm not sure exactly what services I got charged for, but this company took over $75 from my account without authorization and refused to give me a full refund. I was offered a measly 30% refund and then a 50% when I told them I was gong to involve the management at my bank. The only way I could receive a full refund was if I returned the product. I asked the woman how I was supposed to return a product I had received over two months ago and used already. She said if I didn't have the product to return, there was no way I could receive a full refund. She was very rude and when I informed her that the only way I would accept the 50% refund was if my bank couldn't retrieve my money, she told me she had cancelled my account and hung up. This company is a scamming bunch of frauds as far as i'm concerned, and i'll be looking to take legal action.

Clearly Fit Labs False Advertising

The trial "sample" period is totally unreasonable. My products did not arrive until 11 days after the order was placed. Once I read the ingredients, I determined they were unsafe for me to take. I called to cancel, and they had already
charged my credit card the full amount saying that I missed the cancellation date by 3 days. I am returning the FULL bottles but they will charge me a "restocking fee, " not to mention the shipping charges and proof of delivery fees. They are combative over the phone, calling me a liar in fact. I hope this business is shut down. Based upon the myriad of websites others have chosen to complain against this company, I believe this is their business practice -- that is ripping people off! They are making tons of money ($180 per person) on this garbage they are selling. Even if I were in a position to use the products, 1-2 days is simply not enough time to evaluate whether something is worth paying $180 per month for! Even the most elite weight loss clinic doesn't charge that much. I wish I had investigated BEFORE I clicked on "purchase sample." The only weight loss I will experience is from lack of eating because it will take my food budget to pay for this garbage!

I ALSO WAS SCAMMED BY CLEARLY FIT LABS IN REGARDS TO A FREE OFFER THAN MY CREDIT CARD BEING CHARGED 14 DAYS LATER FOR GREEN COFFEE BEANS, CLEANSE AND GARCINIA CAMBOGIA. THE COMPANIES CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT. WAS NO HELP! IT TURNED OUT TO BE A VERY EXPENSIVE LESSON REGARDING SO CALL" FREE SAMPLES!"
